this story is about itachi in SW as a deep cover agent. just like in canon. he is a skywalker, but due to the fact that he is a tratior he abandoned the name as to not drag it in the mud and made a new name for himself, itachi uchiha. in this world of SW chakra is a thing, but not everyone has it(like how everyone has the force in them, but not everyone is force sesnitive.. well with chakra it's either you have it or you don't) chakra is a blood related ability, so if your not related to someone with chakra, you won't have it. anyway in the era of the old republic chakra was pretty common, but the people died out, so now people with chakra is like 1 in a billion, and even then there aren't really people who can teach you.

anyway, itachi will create his own akatsuki and shape the galaxy

It was a hot day on Geonosis but that wasn't unusual, what was unusual was what was happening in the geonosian arena. Obi wan Kenobi: jedi knight, Anakin Skywalker: jedi padawan, and Padme Amidala: senator of Naboo. These three people were all tied to posts in chains, waiting to be eaten by humongous monsters.

(AN: little reference to the CW, obi wan describes this current situation as as "about to be eaten by humongous monsters")

And watching it all atop a balcony was Count Dooku, leader of the separatist along with all of the important members of the separatist council and a bounty hired by Dooku, Jango Fett. But standing beside Dooku was one Itachi Uchiha, apprentice to Dooku. He was wearing a black robe with red clouds along with a ring on his middle finger, it black with a green pendant with an unknown symbol on it. Itachi stood monotone, no emotion could be seen on his face as he watched the event-if one could call it that- but if one looked closer you could see his eyes following the proclaimed chosen one. Anakin Skywalker.

As the event went on things didn't go as planned, much to the ire of the council. The jedi and the surprisingly capable senator fought back against the beasts. It was then that Itachi felt a presence, one he had not felt in many years. He activated his sharingan looking behind him, only to see the face of Mace Windu who then activated his purple blade. Causing Dooku, the council, and Jango to face the jedi. Itachi's eyes shifted into a three pointed star, he locked eyes with the jedi master. Putting him under his most powerful genjutsu, tsukuyomi.

In Itachi Uchiha's world, where he was god, he was face to face with Mace Windu. They looked at each other intently.

"What is the situation?" Mace Windu demanded

Itachi looked on "not good, things are worse than we feared. I apologize for being unable to send word spooner"

Mace nodded "i understand, now explain"

Itachi changed the world to that of a droid factory he had seen "the separatists have amassed a droid army, millions and millions of battle droids"

Mace Windu looked horrified, the republic didn't have a formal military and even if they did it would take months to enlist an army and train them, they didn't have that kind of time. But itachi continued

"But worry not, Dooku has informed me that the republic has or will have an army…a clone army. He has informed me that the clones will appear today. I recommend having the jedi you brought move in a defensive formation until the army arrives. There are thousands of droids hidden in the arena"

Mace nodded, this was useful information. The jedi thought it was just the geonosians, they hadn't planned for a droid army. He will act accordingly. Itach then looked down, slightly saddened

"I'm afraid a galactic scale war will take place, dooku has battle plans and mass weapons of destruction. I don't know the details but he has built a massive ship capable of destroying fleets. Tread cautiously"

Mace nodded once more "what of the sith? Have you discovered the identity of the dooku's master?"

Itachi shook his head "No, i've encountered him via hologram. But he is hidden under a cloak, with his face hidden. I know very little of him…..but he is powerful, i've never even met him in person yet I can feel his power. Though I do know he has sway or control in the senate"

Mace then looked around "but what is all this, you never mentioned any this in your reports"

"It never came up, it is my ultimate genjutsu. Time passes remarkably slowly here. One second in the real world is one day here"

Itachi didn't mention anything else, he knew that if mace or the jedi were aware of the jutsu's full capabilities and what he used it for, they wouldn't approve. Or they might assume that he truly had become a sith. He couldn't risk it

"I will end the jutsu, when you awake you must act quickly"

Mace nodded "I will"

"One more thing master WIndu…take care of my brother"

Itachi ended the technique. Back on the balcony it seemed as though Itachi and Mace simply glanced at each other, no one suspected a thing. Mace proceeded to jump out the balcony on the arena floor, he activated his communicator informing the jedi to enter the arena, that they will form a circle to cover each other's back. The jedi did as ordered.

As itachi looked on at the battle, he couldn't help but think of how this all began. How he went from a jedi, to a sith

*Flashback*

Itachi was the most gifted jedi in over a thousand years and it didn't hurt that he had the sharingan- as he had taken to calling it-. Itachi's master was dooku. He had been his master for three years. Itachi thought he was a fine master, and they had similar views on the republic and the jedi, itachi didn't believe that the republic or the jedi were doing a particularly good job in helping the galaxy, but he knew that to change things would take time and patience. Itachi was determined to make the galaxy a better place, though he didn't exactly know how to go about doing it. One day Dooku came to his apprentice to have a talk…..

"Itachi, you are the greatest and most powerful jedi i have ever seen, it has been a pleasure to teach you…..but i must inform you that i am leaving the jedi order"

Itachi looked shocked "Master?"

"As you know i don't agree with the jedi or the republic for that matter, i had hoped to change it from within, but know i realize i must leave it"

Itachi nodded in understanding, he would miss his master, but he couldn't fault him for his beliefs

"Join me" dooku said

Itachi was surprised

"I know that like me you don't agree with the Jedi, so join me. I can continue your training…..i can teach you a more…. broader perspective of the force. You see my boy, I have plans….plans for the galaxy. I plan to create my own government, one free of corruption and greed. It is what the galaxy needs…..join me"

Itachi thought he considered it, but he couldnt leave his brother. But then he realized that if dooku went ahead with his plans it would split the republic in two and possibly start a war, he needed to tell the council

"Master, this is a big decision. I need time to consider it. Will you allow me to meditate?"

Dooku smiled "of course my boy"

Itachi went into his quarters, but not long after he made his way to the council chambers, he told them everything. Yoda was saddened by his prized apprentice's decision to leave the jedi. But he was shocked to hear of his apprentice's plans to rip the republic apart. Yoda and the council realized they couldn't stop Dooku from leaving the order or stop him from starting his movements. It was then that itachi offered to go with dooku, so he could keep an eye on dooku and try to keep him from going too far with his movement.

The council agreed with the fact that dooku needed to be monitored, but were reluctant to send itachi, a mere 17 year old on this sort of mission. But itachi insisted, he knew that if war broke out it would endanger his brother, and he wouldn't let that happen. So they agreed on this mission, they didnt know how long it would be. But it would be until dooku stopped his radical movement. Itachi then returned to dooku

"I will join you master"

*flashback end*

If only itachi knew what he was getting into, weeks later after dooku told him of his plans for the separatist movement he discovered that dooku has a sith, and that itachi to keep appearances had to learn the ways of the dark side and the sith. So he did, and just like with the jedi and the light side of the force, he was a prodigy.

But it was during this time that itachi discovered something else, he had a special energy within him and that it was the source of his ocular powers. Chakra, and ancient and lost power. So while dooku taught him the ways of the sith, itachi taught himself the ways of chakra. This continued for seven years, which led him to now.

The jedi fought back against the droids, itachi watched his brother the whole time. He saw the way he acted around the senator, padme. Itachi remembered her, she was kind to anakin. He hoped his brother found happiness.

During the battle Jango went down to face the jedi, he lost, killed by Windu. The battle raged on for several minutes, until the jedi were all but lost. Dooku offered them a chance for surrender, to which they refused. It was then the republic's army showed up. Dooku looked at itachi

"Come my apprentice"

Itachi along with everyone went to the council chamber, where they viewed the battle. The separatists realized that they has lost the battle, so they were going to leave. Dooku turned to itachi

"Itachi, go to Serenoo. Prepare for the war, i will join you after i have visited my master"

Itachi nodded "of course"

Itachi made his way out, but as he was leaving he caught a glimpse of plans for a circular shaped weapon. He quickly activated his sharingan to memorize the design.

Itachi made his way to the hangar where the speeder bikes were. And also an old friend, of sorts

"Hey Itachi, how'd it go?"

Standing next to the bikes was an extremely large man, or more accurately a shark man. He was wearing the same robe as itachi and had a large sword on his back. This man was none other than Kisame Hoshigaki, he was a species called the kiri. They were an ancient and nearly extinct people. He and Itachi were good friends, though they had a rough meeting.

*Flashback*

Itachi was walking through a town, he was there to meet a potential ally for dooku, when a man with a giant sword in hand slammed it right where it itachi was. Kisame smirked, thinking his job was done. Only to see a murder of crows flying around him, he was confused. He looked around for his target only to not find him anywhere…..he then saw the crows gathering up, and formed the shape of his target in the air

"Kisame hoshigaki…I've heard a lot about you, and your legendary sword samehada, to what do I owe the….. pleasure?"

Kisame smirked and put his giant sword on his shoulder "seems my reputation precedes me, well I hate to break it to you Mr. Itachi, but your my target…get ready to die"

Itachi just looked on impassively with his sharingan as Kisame clasped his hands together and sharks made of water started to form around the area. This startled Itachi, as far as he knew he and his brother were the only ones to have chakra, that all other people who used it died off….. apparently some survived

The sharks were getting closer. Itachi reached out with his hand and used the force to send out a massive force push, destroying the constructs of sharks and pushing the water back.

"Interesting….you use the ancient power of chakra….just what are you?"

Kisame was surprised "what!? How do you know about chakra?"

Itachi replied "your not the only one who uses this ancient power"

Itachi quickly made hand seals and a massive fireball shot out of his mouth, headed straight towards the beast of a bounty hunter.

Kisame responded with a water wall. Steam then surrounded the entire area. Kisame looked around to where his target could be, when he heard a voice. Coming from all around

"I apologize, as much as I would like to see this through I have someone to meet"

Kismae suddenly couldn't move, he saw apparitions of his Target all around him. All the Itachi's then stuck their hand out, and lightning came out of their fingertips, mountains of force lightning proceeded to shock kisame.

This continued for several minutes until Itachi looked at a heavily injured kisame, he was on his knees and breathing heavily, when he began laughing

"I don't know what you are, the bounty didn't really say…..but you bested me, and my honor dictates that I follow you."

(AN: it's like Rayvis in the Jedi survivor, he was bested by Dagan and his honor dictated that he swore an oath to the one who beat him. Well it's the same with kisame, he species/culture(or what remains) is like that, so kisame is loyal to itachi)

Itachi saw that he was serious "very well"

*Flashback end*

Ever since then they became partners. Itachi also discovered that Kisame's people have chakra in their bodies, and also that as far as he knew he was the last of his kind. And that his sword was an heirloom of his people.

Itachi looked at kisame "It went according to plan….the war has begun"

Kisame gave a toothy grin, showing off his sharp teeth "great, I can't wait for a good fight"

Itachi shook his head "not now kisame, we must leave immediately, were going to Serenno"

They then got on their bikes and sped over to another hangar we're their ship was. But on the way they were confronted by a squadron of clones.

"Hands up!" The commander yelled

Itachi got off the bike, while kisame smiled ready to fight

"Stop kisame, we don't have time" itachi said sharply

Kisame nodded reluctantly

"Come closer! Slowly…" the commander ordered

Itachi with his eyes closed slowly began walking closer. When suddenly…..itachi opened his eyes, revealing his mangekyou sharingan

*Flashback*

Itachi bowed In Front of Dooku in his castle. It had been about a year since he began his sith training.

"Itachi, you have completed every task I have set out for you. But now I must ask you to do one more…you must draw out your best friend….and kill him"

Itachi looked up at dooku in shock, dooku continued

"i know this will be difficult, but you must show your dedication to both the dark side and the sith…I once had to do the same, now go"

Itachi nodded then began walking away, itachi terrified.

Itachi stood next to his best friend, Shisui Uchiha. He had contacted him at the jedi temple, telling him to meet him on Tatooine, saying he wanted to talk.

They were talking for a good while, when itachi led him to an alleyway. Itachi quickly activated his crimson blade and impaled Shisui

Shisui spit out blood and whispered "itachi…." Then fell over and died

Itachi stood still….eyes closed as silent tears fell…..his eyes violently shot open revealing a new type of eye…..a mangekyo sharingan.

After that day itachi gave up the name Skywalker in favor of Uchiha, in honor of his best friend…..and because of his great shame, he didn't want his mother's name to be dragged in the dirt, so he hoped that Anakin would do the Skywalker name proud

*Flashback end*

a huge energy was released, sending the clones back. A red skeletal construct began forming around itachi, starting small. But growing in size. The skeleton began growing muscles.

The Construct reached out its hand and Red lightning shot out towards the clone ship, destroying it. In it's other hand a red sword appears and it made a giant horizontal slash across the battlefield, killing all the clones…..then slowly the Construct began deforming leaving a monotone itachi, who hadn't moved an inch

"You just had to steal all the fun" Wisame complained

"There was no time for a drawn out battle, we have to leave the planet, but the next time I need something destroyed. I'll let you know"

Kisame smirked "perfect"

Itachi and Kisame got back on their speeder and made their way to the hangar, where their ship was. A sith fury class, it had the Uchiha clan symbol on its closed ramp. Itachi had created a symbol for the Uchiha, in hopes that his friend would always live on.

They entered the ship, then went to the planet Serenno to prepare for Dooku's arrival and the start of the clone wars…

now who will itachi's love intrest be?

i have thought that an older merrin could be his LI, like she could be asajj ventress's sister, but she wasa raised as a witch, and when talzin told her she has a sister merrin goes out into the galaxy to find her, leading to her joining dooku(but she doesn't believe in their cause, just her sister...then itachi) and you may be asking "why not just have itachi and asajj get together?" well first off merrin is hot asajj isn't, second asajj(in my opinion) becomes to opportunistic and untrustworthy to ever be a partner with itachi(basically just a bounty hunter with force powers)

the second option is izumi uchiha, it would take some finagling to get her in the story. and she wouldn't even be an uchiha(itachi is the only one...will be explained later...but itachi won't be the only one with a sharingan, don't forget plagius was a mad scientist and was hundreds of years old. he would have some) so i would probably make her a former jedi or a force senstive who never got picked up by

them.

the third option is a younger konan, they won't meet till itachi forms the akatsuki and it would be slow burn...but it could be intresting
