It took a moment for Otto to notice Nova fell asleep on his lap.
He didn't think she intentionally decided to take a nap on him. It just happened while they were talking. Then again, she seemed exhausted even though she said that she was fine. Otto didn't want to push it if she actually was fine and she just looked exhausted. The only thing that made him realize she was asleep was her snores.
So Otto just let her lay there for a few hours. There wasn't anything wrong with that. If anyone needed him, he'd try to move her to a comfortable bed without waking her up. If they needed her, he'd point down to her. They tended to let each other be if they were sleeping unless it was an emergency. They hardly took naps during the day, though, so it would be unexpected but understandable.
He kept Nova close to him. Otto thought about sleeping with her so she wouldn't feel so bad when she woke up. Nova might end up feeling bad anyways though, so he might as well stay awake.
After a bit, her eyes opened. They then became wide open when she realized her head was on his lap. Nova shot herself up and looked at Otto. He just smiled at her. His tail wagged.
"Hey, Novie!" Otto nonchalantly said. "You slept alright?"
She blushed and looked away, he'd assume from embarrassment.
"It was fine… Sorry I took a nap on you." She lightly apologized. "I didn't want to do that while we were hanging out."
"It's okay, but if you needed some sleep, you can say so. Everything else can wait."
Nova looked at him and softly smiled. The blush from her face disappeared. She kissed his face; she grabbed his hand and held it.
"Let's get something to eat, then we can talk about relaxing together." Nova said.
He held her tail with his own. "Sounds good to me!"
Otto just hadn't eaten in a while, but Nova probably didn't know that.
