Maya wakes up early, still feeling buzzed. She checks the time. It's 7 AM square.

"Well... this is very early...", She thinks. "But, eh, more daytime to enjoy!"

She then grabs her last bottle of Buckfast and drinks half of it. Beginning to feel energized and even more buzzed, she grabs her phone and begins to text Epke.

"Hey, babe!", She says. "I miss you dearly... Anyway, I'm currently in Paris. Do you want some pics? I'll be visiting many cool places. Love you!"

In the meantime, she begins watching videos and playing videogames on her phone. After several hours, Epke finally responds.

"You're in Paris?", He says. "That's so cool! Yea, I'd love some pics, please send em! I miss you too, we should talk later in the day!"

"We totally should!", Maya replies. "Love you!"

Maya finishes her bottle of Buckfast. She begins to think about how to throw it away, so she opens up her window, checks for any witnesses, and throws both of her empty bottles and throws both of them over the parking lot fence, landing at the sidewalk. She quickly closed the window and began thinking about her life. She tries hard to remember a lot of what happened recently... but mostly can't. It's like life has been a big blur this year for Maya. She barely even remembers the time she and Cleo had a guitar competition on April. She vividly remembers Cleo winning, but does not remember what either of them were playing, nor what the prize was...

"Why can't I remember anything?", She thinks to herself. "It's almost like this year didn't even exist... why, though? Is life just that boring? Is my memory just bad? Or is it because of the booze...?"

She shakes her head.

"Nah, booze cannot possibly be the problem... it has only helped me! Nevermind the blackouts, the hangovers and the withdrawals, booze is now an integral part of me! I'm lame without it! Who likes a shut-in recluse? Yeah, booze can't possibly be the problem!"

Suddenly, she begins hearing movement around the house. It's around 10 AM, her usual waking up time, so she gets out of her bed.

"Hello, Maya!", Mrs. Schoppenboer says.

"Hey, mom!", Maya replies.

"Did you sleep well tonight, dear?"

"I did!"

"Glad to hear! Anyway, I'll be making breakfast for you girls right now."

"Thanks, mom!"

Maya the grabbed a can of energy drink and went back to her bed. After drinking some of it, she then proceeded to pour some vodka in her can, mix the two and then drink some more. Suddenly, her mom calls everyone to eat breakfast, so Maya quickly chugs down the rest of the can and goes downstairs. They all had delicious lettuce and tomato sandwiches.

"So, kids.", Mrs. Schoppenboer starts saying. "Since we're in Paris, me and dad have been thinking of all of us taking this day to go out and explore the city together. We'll see everything Paris is known about: the Eiffel Tower, the Musée du Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe, among many more!"

"That sounds amazing, mom!", Coco says.

"So, you girls wanna go?", Mrs. Schoppenboer asks.

"We'll go!", All of the sisters replied.

After breakfast, everyone got ready and began walking outside. Maya fills up her cup with stroopwafel moonshine in case she needs to further numb her social anxiety and hides it in her hoodie to prevent anyone from asking for a sip along with a bottle of mouthwash. Because of distance, the family first goes to the Louvre. As they approached it, the sheer amount of people both outside and inside the museum became more and more obviously massive, and Maya's social anxiety started slowly coming back.

"Fuck, I knew this wasn't enough!", Maya thought.

So she waited until they were inside of the museum. As the place was so crowded, Maya's anxiety became even worse by the second, so she waited for the right time… and waited… and waited… and waited… until she couldn't take it anymore and quickly told her mom:

"Hey, mom, I need to go to the bathroom now!"

"Well… do you know where it is?", Mrs. Schoppenboer asked back.

Maya then got on her toes and desperately looked for the bathroom. Fortunately, she was just around the corner from it and spotted it.

"I can see it now, mom!", Maya said. "I'm going!"

"Alright, Maya, just be quick or else you won't see us!", Mrs. Schoppenboer replied.

Maya then squeezed her way into the bathroom, got inside one of the stalls, and then got her cup out. She drank a random amount and applied mouthwash, then flushed the toilet and ran back outside. Fortunately, she could find the rest of the family and stuck with them. Maya quickly started feeling the effects of her drink, making her feel very drowsy and happy, allowing her to not mind the crowd surrounding her at all. Anyway, the family saw many, many paintings and statues up close, including the famous Mona Lisa, and took many, many pictures of each of them.

After leaving the museum, Maya's mom went to check the time and realized that it's 1:30 PM, way past their usual lunchtime.

"Kids, we need to go back home and eat!", She said. "But we'll go explore some more after that, alright?"

"Alright, mom!", The sisters replied.

Then, they had their lunch and continued on with their journey. Feeling satisfied with her current level of inebriation, Maya left her booze and mouthwash at home. The family then visited many more places all around Paris, such as the Pantheon, the Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris, the Place de la Concorde, the Arc de Triomphe, and, finally, the Eiffel Tower. When they were done, it was already getting dark, so they began to walk back home.

On their way there, however, they passed by a restaurant, and Maya spotted an unattended bottle of wine sitting on one of the outside tables. She began to CRAVE that bottle of wine. She NEEDED it! A rush of adrenaline began to flow her body as she decided to steal it for herself. She stopped and waited until the rest of her family, who were all chatting along together, walked a little further, and, as soon as she saw the right time, she took a deep breath, snatched the bottle as fast as she could, chugged it down in a matter of seconds, and threw the bottle backwards as hard as she could. Fortunately, it landed on the sidewalk, somewhere near the place she snatched the bottle. Although it was just half-full, it was enough for Maya to stay comfortable and prevent her withdrawals.

After that, everyone was tired yet happy with their trip. They visited so many places and took so many pictures for just one day…

They made sure to never forget this day.
