We passed the telepathic border and Konohamaru began taking me towards the Moors. The more we travelled, the more the purple grasslands began to turn black. The stench of rotten meat began to smell in the air. The fires of the pits began to show itself.
I looked at Aka worried that it might bring him memories of being captured by the demons in here. He looked calm and smiled at me when I glanced at him. We reached an area surrounded by black trees.
"Aka..lets stop here and take a breather. You might be exhausted." I said.
"I could go a bit further if you'd like Nee-sama. The lair is not too far." He said.
"No let's take some rest. We came too far." I said.
"Ok."
We sat on the black grass and took out some of the refreshments we got before going to the border. Konohamaru drank a flask of cold water and gave it to me. I drank some of it. We starting eating some food.
"Aka, there's hot sauce on your lip." I said rubbing off the sauce with my thumb and licking it.
We finished eating and stayed for a while.
"Are you scared?" He asked.
"Of what, Aka..?"
"Facing him..Or that you might lose me again.." he said.
"No baby. I'm never gonna lose you. Never again." I smiled at him.
And that's when I-
WHOOSH!
I went towards Konohamaru to catch a knife that came towards him from behind. It almost thrust his spine.
"Nee-sama? What happened?" He asked blushing wondering why I'm so close to him.
Then he turned around to find that my hand was bleeding from catching the knife from its sharp end.
"Run, Aka..There's an intruder!" We moved swiftly towards a hidden area behind the bushes.
"Let me bandage your hand." He offered.
He wrapped my hands with a bandage he had in his pouch.
"Thanks. It might stop the bleeding." I said.
But knives began showering towards our direction.
"Let's go. We need to get to the Moors." He said.
We began running towards the Moors.
"Damn it! I missed them. Father is gonna kill me when he hears about this." The assassin said.
We sped towards Balthazar's lair as we saw the cave from the distance. The echoes of the damned can be heard very loud and clear enough to say that we are now in "No man's land".
Neither man, woman nor child are safe in here as demons and rapists of both sexes along with succubi and incubi exist in this territory. The sirens from the water bodies are even worse. As long as they are your same sex or sexuality and age, they wouldn't attack you. Well.. it's different for the homosexual ones though. But they are usually rare.
We reached the lair enough to see Balthazar's rapaciously savage goons seen guarding the entrance. We both ran with Konohamaru taking his kunai and I taking my Deathscythe with me and began our attack.
I thrusted my scythe at the eye of the first goon. He retaliated by trying to scar my chest with his talons. I leaned back and burned him to crisps with Maiden's fury.
"Fire Release: Dragon flame bullet!"
Konohamaru released a dragon-shaped fire blast towards the demons that were coming towards him.
I used my scythe in a spiral motion similar to the gentle fist movement done by the Hyuuga Clan with Maiden's fury on its tip to burn and kill the gerontophilic incubi surrounding me.
"Shuriken: Shadow Clone Jutsu" he exclaimed and a several number of shuriken were armed towards the pedophilic succubi.
POW!
Someone punched me from the front and stole something from me as they searched for it through my person.
"Oww..My stomach.."
I stepped back in bone-crushing pain as the intruder ran away.
"Onee-sama! Daijoubu?" Konohamaru said.
"I'm ok baby. I'm alright. Let's go after her. She stole the Botticelli Dagger!"
