"Now Keethan!" I said.
Keethan/Neji then stamped his hand on the ground uttering "Teleport!" and every soldier and enemy from both sides were taken from Konoha and teleported to a war ground. The police Ninja was placed in Konoha to protect the civilians.
The fighters on both sides were never bothered on the fact that they got teleported and raged towards each other to fight.
The first line of cavalry on the Konohan side was Chunin. They were armed with kunai, and shuriken and attacked the missing-nin among the dead of the other side.
Blades clash and nins fight arm to arm against the other side. Some use ninjutsu, some use genjutsu, some just try plucking their eyes out, until they realise the reanimated don't have eyes.
Zombies, then arise from Danzo's side in the most heinous ways. Their arms look twisted and pale coloured and didn't seem to have cracks seen in the shinobi that get reanimated on Edo Tensei. They gave out a black vapour that came out from their ears and nose. Their fingers seem blotched in black, and their eyes look souless.
"Those Shinobi look different. What are they?" Tobirama-san asked me.
"They are zombified shinobi. They are different from the Edo Tensei ones. I think Danzo reanimated them using Hades' pitchfork." I said.
"We got to retrieve that pitchfork somehow before he does more chaos with it." Hashirama said.
"I thought you were with Boruto." I asked.
"Mito is with them in the medic area. They are out for a lookout in case anyone needs help from Konoha. Keethan is on standby if anyone needed to get teleported." Hashirama-san said.
"Ok."
The zombies arrive to attack after the first line of missing nin gets defeated. They capture the Chunins and make them turn them into zombies.
"What the-" I exclaimed.
"It's Dark magic. Chthonic in your terms. The black vapour that they give out when inhaled can turn anyone into such creatures." Madara said.
"Can you try your deathly powers to take control of the zombies or whatever you call them?" Tobirama-san asked.
I tried concentrating my scythe on them. For a second, I got their power, but a dark spirit tried to enter my consciousness colliding with something dark inside me trying to make me feel power consumed and angry in an evil way. But before it could take control over my body, I let go and gain control over my whole well-being.
"What just happened?" Konohamaru asked.
"I tried gaining control over the zombies. But the dark magic is colliding with something inside me. Something else dark. It was a bit overwhelming. So I let go. I don't think I can do much about them." I said.
"Is the darkness from the pitchfork?" Tobirama-san asked.
"No no. The pitchfork is what reanimates the dead. Even making them appear as zombies. But the Chthonic energy Danzo got from Balthazar is what causes the dark vapour and blotches to appear." I said.
In the middle of the battlefield a huge object appeared that looked like a... salamander.
"The Sannin would be very excited to see this guy again." Konohamaru said.
"Who is he?" I asked.
"That's Hanzo of the Salamander. He fought in the Second Shinobi War against Jiraiya sensei, Tsunade-sama and Orochimaru."
"Oh..." I exclaimed looking at him.
"We'll fight him." Yahiko, Konan and Nagato said
"That's my kids" Jiraiya said proudly.
And they walked towards his direction.
"Who is this? I expected the Sannin to fight..Where am I?" Hazo said.
"This is the land of the living. You are reanimated into the Fifth Great Shinobi War." Konan said.
"And you three are my opponents?" He asked.
"Yes. I'm Yahiko. Also went by the identity of Pain in the Fourth Great Shinobi War. These are Nagato and Konan. We are the students of Jiraiya of the Sannin!"
"Is that so. Well let's see if you follow the same reputation as your sensei does." Hanzo said
"We need to do something about the zombies. Sending both the living and the dead will lead both of them turned into one of them." Tobirama-san said
"I got an idea." Konohamaru said.
