Chapter 5: The Master Emerald:
Barnaby's POV:
I was walking when I found the Master Emerald. "So, this is where she's keeping it," I said.
"Barnaby," says Longclaw, "get away from that! It's dangerous!"
"Why did our ancestors take the Master Emerald," I asked.
"Its power started to corrupt its creators, the Echidnas," says Longclaw, "it was the only way to save them from themselves!"
"Well, it'd probably make a nice disco ball," I suggested.
"Don't even think about it," says Longclaw.
"Oh, alright."
. . .
The next request was a drinking party. I have a headache.
. . .
"They sure are thinking of crazy requests," says Longclaw.
"I know, right," I asked, "I can't wait to see what the next request is... ow, I'm talking too loud!"
. . .
I was then getting ready for the next party. I looked at the Master Emerald. It sure is shiny. "Oh well." I then walked away from it.
To Be Continued
In the next chapter, Barnaby takes his final request.
