Chapter 2: Mobotropolis:
Sonic's POV:
I'm Sonic and I'm five and I'm the fastest thing on Mobius! I'm also cool for my age. I then started running around.
"Sonic," says Uncle Chuck, "remember what I said!"
I then sighed. "I have to keep my speed a secret."
"We can't risk someone coming after your power," says Uncle Chuck.
"But I got the coolest power on the planet," I said, "if you could run this fast, would you wanna keep it a secret?"
"Yes," says Uncle Chuck, "now let's go."
. . .
Uncle Chuck and I were on our way to the palace. Then this bat girl came out of nowhere. "Now, what's your name," asks Uncle Chuck.
"My name's not important, but I am here to rob you!"
"Hey, back off," I said, "you're not gonna rob us!"
"You're cute, too bad I have to kick your butt!"
"Sonic, remember, you can't show anyone what you can do," says Uncle Chuck.
"Hey, what are you whispering about," asks the bat.
"Young Lady," says Uncle Chuck, "I know you want to rob us, but there just happens to be some very charming boys over in those bushes."
"You think that could work on me," asks the bat. She then looks. "Well, maybe I could check it out." She then flies to the bush.
"Yuck," I said.
"Let's go. See, Sonic? You don't always need speed."
. . .
We arrived at the palace and saw Uncle Chuck's friend, Julian Kintobor.
"You remember my nephew, Sonic, right, Julian," asks Uncle Chuck.
"Sonic? Why I haven't seen you since you were just a baby," says Dr. Kintobor, "this is my nephew, Colin."
"Colin Kintobor, Jr... you... haven't really changed much," says Uncle Chuck.
"Yes, well, I haven't really reached my growth spurt," says Colin.
"Sir Charles," says King Acorn.
"Your Highness, look who I brought," says Uncle Chuck.
"Little Sonic," says King Acorn, "look at you. Come, Sir Charles, we have much to discuss."
. . .
We were in the palace. I was eating a chili dog. The Princess looked at me and seemed grossed out. I just shrugged.
"This is my project," says Uncle Chuck, "roboticization! With it, the Elderly can live longer!" He then demonstrates. "It can turn living things into robots!"
"Intriguing," says Dr. Kintobor.
"That's horrible," says Princess Sally, "turning living things into machines? That's..."
"Sally," says the King, "I am so sorry about my daughter."
"It's quite alright, Your Highness. I should work on it."
"And I could help," says Dr. Kintobor, "I rather like your idea."
"Thank you, Julian."
