"I'm alright...Virgo-mimi." Bambi said blushingly when he realised whom he was talking to. He felt very giddy and secretly excited like a child, while being with her.
He realised that he was holding her hips and he quickly let go, but he put them back the moment Virgo started to fall and he caught her.
He slowly and gently took out the arrow thrusted onto her back.
"Ow!" She exclaimed.
"..sorry." he said silently.
She looked him in the eye and he looked at her. She slowly approached him like a silent doe and feathered him with a soft kiss on his childlike lips.
Bambi blushed a cherry at that and returned her kiss. And he caught the second arrow that was directed at them.
They kissed for a while and let go when they needed to breathe fresh air. Both of them were in a trance towards each other and wanted to feel more. But they have a job at hand.
They turned a cold eye behind towards Danzo while Virgo covered Bambi protectively with her wings.
Danzo looked very scared at the fact that he angered two primordial gods. And that his ass is going to get whooped for that.
The Ninja surrounded them with barriers to protect them from Danzo's arrows.
"Ano..who.." Minato asked.
"Hello everyone, I'm Bambi, the ancestor to the Kane clan. This is my wife, Virgo, the progenitor to the Pristine clan. We are primordial gods presiding inside the bodies of Konohamaru Sarutobi and Kalāra Pristine. We mean absolutely no harm." Bambi said.
"Er..Welcome to Konoha..sir?" Minato said.
"Thank you. Now if you'll excuse me. My wife needs some medical attention." Bambi said and he took Virgo with him in his arms towards the medic area.
In there, they were met by Boruto, Sarada and Mitsuki at the gate post. Kawaki looked worried when he saw Virgo wounded mistaking her for Kalāra and came running.
"What happened to you, Kalāra? Who did this to you? I'm gonna kill him!" He said.
"Nii-chan, you guys are in weird clothes." Boruto said.
"Boruto!" Sarada scolded him.
Bambi pretended he was Konohamaru and said to them,
"Kalāra was shot by Danzo while protecting me. The arrow had a poison. We need an antidote."
"Right away! Come to the tent now!" Mito said.
Mito concocted a short antidote. Before applying, she tried to extract the poison using ninjutsu. It hurt like hell for Virgo but she handled it like a champ.
Then she applied the antidote on the wound and tried to heal it.
"If you know how to heal her, why couldn't you do it, Lord Bambi?" Mito asked.
"Wait- what? How did you know that I-"
"Kalāra once told me about your reincarnation. I can now sense a strange godly power inside you. She also told about your healing abilities."
"Oh. Well, Virgo was poisoned. And my powers hasn't fully manifested in this vessel. So I can't heal her yet." Bambi said.
"Oh. I understand." And she wrapped some bandages around her chest.
After a while of rest, Virgo felt better than before and got up from the cot.
"You could rest more."
"It's alright Mito. I can handle myself. Let's go Bambi." Virgo said.
And Bambi and Virgo came to the battlefield. Virgo flew and soared through the air, whereas Bambi was transported by the trees.
Whatever zombie that came onto their way, Bambi buried them on the ground with his vines and Virgo used Maiden's Spirit to cleanse them before they got buried underground.
They telekinetically moved everything out of the way and landed on the top and Danzo stepped back.
"Any last words, mortal?" Virgo said in coldness.
"I will not be kicked out of my village by a foreigner and her child-paramour-"
SNITCH!
Danzo felt a blade thrusted into his body by an unknown robed assassin who stood behind him. She carried the Botticelli Dagger with her.
"Who- what-" Danzo exclaimed.
"That's for killing my daughter, you bastard." Helena said.
