Chapter 8: Return the Stone:

Longclaw's POV:

I returned the Master Emerald to the Echidnas. "We thank you for this decision, but why?"

"This... I just don't want this thing anywhere near me again," I said.

"Thank you, Longclaw and you were right, the Master Emerald almost did corrupt us. We shall make sure that doesn't happen."

"Thank you."

My brother is lost, and the Master Emerald is now away from me. I just hope I can never see that stone again.

Echidna's POV:

I couldn't believe it! The Master Emerald has created seven smaller emeralds. They could be just as dangerous. We better keep them safe as well.
