Chapter 7: The Coup Begins:

Sonic's POV:

Amy's folks came to pick her up. "It's my brother, Rob," says Amy, "well, see ya around."

"See ya," I said. Amy then leaves with her brother.

No one was looking, so I took this opportunity to start running. I then stopped when I realized Vector was watching. "I'm... just gonna..." Vector then runs off.

Vector's POV:

I was running, but I bumped into an armadillo. "Sorry," I said. I then continued running.

When I stopped, I saw this chameleon. He was sitting there, sulking. "Hey," I said, "you look like you could use a friend."

Chuck's POV:

I was walking down the halls when I passed some robots. "Hello," I said. I then stopped and realized I've never seen those robots before... and they kind of look like... no! It couldn't be... could it?

I was secretly listening to Julian and his nephew.

"This was brilliant, Dr. Robotnik!" Dr. Robotnik?

"Of course it was, Snively," says Robotnik, "that's why I'm willing to dispose of anyone who would dare get in my way, like Sir Charle's brother and sister-in-law!"

Robotnik's the one who killed Sonic's parents! I then busted in. "Julian, what is the meaning of this," I asked.

"Charles," says Robotnik, "I take it you overheard everything."

"Yes, and I will not stand for this," I said.

"That's alright."

Snively then knocked me out from behind...

I woke up and saw I was in my room.

"Are you alright, Uncle Chuck," asks Sonic.

"I just had the worse dream, Sonic," I said, "my oldest friend turned out to be a megalomaniac and he's the one who killed our parents! I'm just glad to know it was all just a dream."

"I got bad news for you, Uncle Chuck," says Sonic.

"What," I asked.

"This is the dream, all that stuff you saw did happen."

I then woke up and saw Robotnik. "What are you doing," I asked.

"You think I wish to continue being ruled by rodents when I have an intellect far superior to anything else on this planet? And with your help, I will finally fulfil my destiny!"

"Why did you kill Jules and Bernadette," I asked.

"They knew too much," says Robotnik, "and now, it's time you live longer!"

I then realized I was in the Roboticization Chamber. I tried to get out, but Robotnik activated it. I was too late, and I started to change...
