Silverpelts stars shined in the night sky as a lean, gray she-cat and a large bengal tom leaped from rock to rock, making their way up a mountain. The she-cat jumped onto a rock she could tell wasn't as jagged as the rest, and turned to see if her companion was following. The tom clearly struggled in climbing the boulders, and it seemed like he just about barely made the jump. He did manage to land on the stone ground with a thud, panting. "Curse you and your long nimble legs." he grunted. The she-cat looked at him in amusement "Oh, it's not that my dear friend!" she purred proudly "It's just when you travel to the Star Rock as much as us medicine cats do, you know how to climb up these stones." her friendly nature didn't seem to cheer up the tom, though. "Oh don't be like that! We're almost there." she comforted him and turned to leap onto another rock. She looked up, trying to find the right stone to leap on. She eventually did, and made one last jump before she was certain this was the place she was hoping to see.
She landed the jump, and looked in front of her. She saw a tall rock, reaching out to the sky as the moon decorated it with its light. Unlike the jagged boulders she and the tom climbed, this one was smooth, and seemed almost shiny. She looked over her shoulder and saw the large bengal tom looking at it with wide eyes. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" she looked back at the tall stone. But then she cleared her throat, knowing what they were here for. "Now, just jump on it and fall asleep. You should see the StarClan cats that are going to give you your nine lives." she finished. The tom started walking towards the rock, but then looking back to her and saying quickly "Thank you Stormsky." he jumped on the boulder and layed down.
Stormsky sat down, knowing this was going to take a while. She looked up at Silverpelt, a rush of comfort going through her. She felt safer knowing her ancestors were watching over her and her Clan. She kept watching the sky for a long moment before a dark cloud loomed over, covering the stars. Stormsky was confused, was this supposed to happen during a leader ceremony? Surely not. Something was wrong. Stormsky glanced back at the brown tom, he was still asleep. She looked back up at the sky to find the cloud completely covered it. The sight made Stormsky flatten her ears. Not a single star could be seen in Silverpelt, for some reason StarClan became quiet out of nowhere.
Suddenly Stormsky heard a loud hiss. She perked up, unsheathing her claws just in case. The hiss came from the brown tom, he woke up hissing. Stormsky was genuinely scared now, what if something happened during his leader ceremony? She ran up to him, and swiftly halted to a stop in front of him. "Elkstrength what happened? Are you okay? Did something go wrong during the ceremony?" she flooded him with questions, though he never answered any of them, he just stared blankly at her, terrified. She realised that maybe she shouldn't overwhelm him with questions. "Come on," she said, slowly walking to the direction of where they came from.
Stormsky looked up again at the clouded sky and let out a sigh. Whatever happened probably won't affect anything. Right?
