Sasuke paused his steps and looked at Hinata. He lightly grabbed her hand and gave her a supportive grin.

"I'll protect both of you with my life..you have nothing to be afraid of." He said with assurance and sincerity.

Hinata blushed hard and nodded with a warm smile. "I trust you Sasuke-kun."

Sasuke knew she was telling the truth because she didn't stutter and she even added the new honorific.

He made sure to grab Ino's hand too so she didn't feel left out. She gently squeezed his hand back and the three continued walking.

The three set up camp because it was starting to get dark and cold outside.

"I'll be back Sasuke-kun and Ino-chan. I'm going to get some more wood." Hinata said as she started to walk away.

"Hinata.." Sasuke paused as his expression turned serious.

Hinata immediately understood his response and activated her Byakugans.

"Some unfortunate idiot kids." Another said.

"Whoa look guys! Isn't she a Hyuga and he's an Uchiha??" Another questioned.

"Well I'll be you're right. If we sell his Sharingan eyes and her Byakugan eyes we'll be filthy rich!"

"What are we waiting for? Let's kill these ki-"

The Robber's throat was slit and blood squirted profusely from his neck.

"One down." Sasuke's eyes narrowed at the man he just killed.

"Kosuu! You will pay for that!!" One of the Robbers yelled and slashed a dagger at Sasuke's neck.

"Leave Sasuke-kun alone!" Ino yelled as she grabbed a Kunai and stabbed it into his neck. He yelled out with pain and stopped his attack.

"You bitch!!" A Robber yelled and attempted to grab Ino's hair.

"HA!" Hinata yelled and pressed a certain pressure point on the man's neck and he immediately fell down, dead.

She paused temporarily and looked down at the dead body.

This actually wasn't her first time killing someone..

Hanabi hugged Hinata tightly as she continued crying.

"T-thank you s-so m-much big s-sister."

Hinata stood frozen as she looked at the dead body of one of her clan's members.

'I-I just killed s-someone..' She thought as she shook slowly. She felt sick.

But it was the right thing to do right? After all the man had tried to touch her little sister in the worst of ways..

It actually didn't take her long to come to terms with the action. A lot of people thought since she was 'shy and sweet' she hadn't killed anyone, but that was not the case.

Her eye twitched and she dodged the punches of two of the Robbers.

Their heads went flying as Sasuke sliced them off with his tanto.

Ino stared at the warm blood on her hands and the man she just killed.

'This i-is my first time killing someone..but it was for the right reason right?' She thought emotionlessly.

After all the men attacked and tried to rob them first..

But that ignorant consequence cost them their lives.

She felt two hands on her shoulders and looked to see Sasuke and Hinata giving her looks of understanding.

She smiled back at them, signaling that she was alright.

"Let's loot their corpses, see what they have." Sasuke said and the two nodded.

He went to the two men in front of him.

Hinata smiled with satisfaction as she tightly gripped the two daggers.

It felt like she'd been using them forever.

"I agree. That was impressive." Sasuke followed with a grin.

Hinata blushed and shyly smiled. "T-Thanks you two."
