Ferretstar decides only the parents needed to know for now. They didn't know who the prophecy was about, and there was no reason to get the kit's hopes up. Besides, it should be Birchtail's decision whether to tell them or not.
"Alright, I'm going to count now, " Ferretstar says playfully, "One, two..."
The kits scamper off.
Just as Silvercloud is about to step out, Ferretstar sticks her tail out. "A moment, please. There's something I need to tell you- both of you." Ferretstar nods to Birchtail.
Birchtail turns his head attentively, "What is it, Ferretstar?"
"Gingerleaf received a prophecy yesterday. He believes it may be about one of our kits."
Silvercloud considers her mate's words quietly while Birchtail bustles with excitement. His eyes light up brightly, "Really? About our kits?" He asks.
"Well, one of them." Ferretstar clarifies.
"Its good news, right?" Birchtail asks.
"Gingerleaf seems to think so," Ferretstar nods and recites the words again, "They will come from the cold and shine with a light we have yet to see."
"Wow!" Birchtail purrs.
Silvercloud tilts her head a bit. "Is he sure that is about our kits? And is they talking about one cat, or multiple?"
"I don't know. He acted pretty sure. He seemed to think it was telling him who his apprentice would be." Ferretstar shrugs awkwardly, neglecting to mention he really thought it was about Mistkit.
"One of my little girls, as a medicine cat..." Birchtail murmurs lovingly.
Ferretstar almost feels guilty for getting his hopes up so much. Silvercloud seems to notice.
"Thank you for telling us." Silvercloud says eventually, then teases, "We shouldn't keep those kits waiting much longer though."
The silver tabby brushes her pelt against Ferretstar as she walks out. "Keep counting." She mews.
"Ready or not, here I come!"
Ferretstar steps out of the den to find that the kit's scent wasn't too hard to follow. It seemed as though the sisters probably wanted to hide in the same place.
However, before she can start looking, she notices Frecklepaw sitting out in front of apprentice's den alone.
Molepaw comes out to talk with him, but then sees Dustclaw starting walk over too.
She's probably taking her to do some battle training, Ferretstar thinks to herself.
Ferretstar considers her promise to make sure someone trained Frecklepaw while Leaffur was on patrol.
Now would be a good time to say something. Ferretstar decides to...

All of the apprentice's need battle training right now. This is a good opportunity for Frecklepaw to practice against a more experienced opponent like Molepaw.
4. Find someone else to train Frecklepaw. : 5%
It would be better for someone with more experience like Brownflower or Lostnose to train him, or someone with more energy like Ashtail or Cloverface.
5. Tell Frecklepaw to take care of the elders and decide later. : 20%
It's not going to take much time to find the kits. You'll probably only play for a couple of rounds. He doesn't have to sulk around waiting when he could be doing something useful.
