So ends my LOTM fic. I appreciate the love, support, and feedback I have recieved.
To clarify a few things, the incident in London is simply the idea I had that she was nearly raped due to her being a half-breed, she fought back and killed the man. I like to imagine her mother was the daughter of a noblemen, so even though he doesn't recoginize Alice, said gentlemen helped to prevent her going to the gallows and insisted she be sent to her father.
Also I am not much for writing what happens next. I have neither the knowledge nor the desire to run off and live out running water, nature has never really been a friend. I can kill air plants. So I leave their lives in the New World to your own imagination. But I imagine their little family is doing well. Cora is adjusting the veiw of her sister with the truth of her sister. And the gentlemen are learing exactly what the differences are between the Scottish and English.
