A couple days after, Saphira had Mirage keep to his offer of bringing her to a bookstore and that is where she was now. He did mentioned to her about taking the items she had been given by Optimus for Christmas to a museum, but Saphira still did not know which museum to take it to. She knew that the Museum of Natural History was not likely to be the one to take the items to, given the items were from South America. It was hard to know what part of South America the items came from, so Saphira would find another. She did wish Optimus could remember details about the truck that the items had fallen off from, but she didn't hold it against him. The museums were open now, so she would be able to take the items to any of them when she wanted to. She just still needed to figure out which museum to bring the items to.

For now, she was in a bookstore that was run by a family who love books. Saphira was thrilled to come here, as she was already going through so many books that were here. She hasn't bought any just yet, but she did intend to do so. And she has already spent a few hours in the store. When the autobots realized that Saphira was going to spend a long time in the store, they decided to go for a drive. Mostly to keep an eye on the surrounding area, even though they have not seen a single sign of Arthur the last couple days. As it should be.

Ever since having a heart to heart with Optimus…well, not a deep enough one to confess feelings…not deeper feelings anyway. But ever since the two have spoken, Saphira has taken it upon herself to make herself look more appealing. She bought beautiful hair clips for her hair, a necklace to match the ring and so on. She did not spend a huge amount of money, as she did need to save the little money she had in case she needed it for later. But she has been braiding her hair and putting the clips in, and she has been wearing the necklace a lot. When spring and summer comes around, she was likely to find dresses that would be very appealing to Optimus. Or at least, she would hope for that. But she still made an effort with the clothes she had now, even though Optimus may not notice, but she wanted to feel pretty for Optimus.

Saphira was currently reading through Moby-Dick as she had always been intrigued by the story, and she wanted to read a bit of it before buying. Luckily, none of the staff were bothering her, as they were used to people reading the books there at the store for hours. They were often reading something themselves to pass the time in the store. It was quiet, and it was comforting, and it was warm as well. The only thing missing was a hot chocolate and a cinnamon scroll.

Saphira hummed softly, turning the page to the next one to keep reading. She was very relaxed at the moment, and thoroughly enjoying her time. None of the autobots have bothered her about it yet, and she was very much okay with that. They would only ask her how much longer she was going to be and if she has found a book to buy. So it was fine of they did not bother her for the moment. Saphira did not know how many hours that have passed, but that didn't matter.

"Did you see the news this morning, Liz?" Saphira flinched as she heard an old woman's voice speaking loudly near the front of the store, and she knew it was the owner of the bookstore, Amelia, speaking to one of the workers.

"Um, I did not watch the news today, Amelia. You know it is just after twelve…" Saphira flinched and glanced at her phone, raising an eyebrow when she realized what the time was. She didn't want to eavesdrop, but the store wasn't big, and it was easy to hear anyone. "So I am surprised you are bringing up the news now."

"That's because I had to go and run errands for the shop for the last few hours, Liz. I couldn't tell you at the time." Saphira smiled a little as she heard the irritation in the woman's voice and kept her eyes on the book in front of her. "Apparently, some museum lost something just before Christmas last year." That caught her attention immediately. "I am not sure why they waited until now to reveal it, but it's been speculated that the said items that were lost have been picked up by mistake or stolen. I do think that the museum didn't notice until now that it was lost, but whatever…" Saphira hoped that she could hear which museum was supposed to receive the items, because that would help her tremendously. "Seems that the Ellis Island Museum was meant to receive tribal items from South America, and somehow, the drivers lost the items. It was seen loaded onto the truck, and it is gone. Pfft!" Saphira smiled a little as she now knew where to take the items. "Seems foolish to me!"

"Yeah, kind of makes me think the drivers took it, and not lost it." Liz was surprised to hear the story from the woman, but she wasn't terribly interested either, based on how she responded to the woman. "But why are they bringing it up now?"

"Apparently, there's a reward for anyone who finds and brings it to the museum. Not surprising, because they are dangling five hundred thousand for these items. Ridiculous if you ask me!" Amelia let out a high pitched voice of disbelief. "They reckon the drivers have been cleared, but I don't think so. I bet someone is going to waltz into that museum in a few days, and they have a connection to those drivers, and they will retire before the age of fifty."

Liz chuckled softly at woman's grumpy rant. "I guess we are just going to have to wait and, Amelia. Sometimes that kind of thing never gets returned to the museum. Someone may just keep it and not care about the money as well."

"Yeah, I suppose." The woman goes quiet as the front door opens, hitting the bell and causing it to ring as someone walked into the store. "Good afternoon, sir. Is there anything that I can help you, or are you just having a look around today?"

"Um, I think I am just going to have a look." Saphira froze immediately upon hearing the soft voice of a familiar person respond to the woman. "You see, I lost a of things not so long ago, so I am looking for inspiration for getting myself back on my feet. There are books here that will help me do that, right?"

"Yes, there are so many books that talk about building wealth and such in here. And they are over there…" Saphira kept her hair down as she tried to see without being spotted to see the the woman pointing at a different direction from her. "There's a heap of those kind of books though, so I hopefully one will jump out at you and help you out. I can see by your clothes and scruffy beard that you've been doing it tough. And especially in the wintertime."

The man nodded to the woman. "Yeah…very tough…I lost…so much. Thank you, ma'am."

Saphira remained still as she listened to the footsteps of the man walk over to the motivational books that he spoke about, and she took deep breaths. She could not help but think he knew she was there. He was simply acting nice in front of the woman. Saphira kept her head down, but she could see the top of the man's head and she heard him stop as she closed the book she was holding. Not wanting to get the book damaged, she stood up and crouched to return the book to where she had found it and began making her way towards the front of the store.

She saw that Amelia was not at the front, and likely had gone to the back to do paperwork, while Liz was reading a book. Saphira was happy, because that meant that they wouldn't unintentionally alert the man while she was trying to sneak out of the shop unseen. The one thing that would defeat her would be the bell at the front door, but she would be able to get out quickly by the time she reached it. Saphira tiptoed towards the front, not wanting to be spotted by the man. She has not said a thing in case he was listening, and she did not

She moved as quickly and quietly as she could to the front of the store. She peaked around the bookshelf in the man's direction, and so far, he has not seen her. She took deep breaths as she glanced towards the front door as she worried about him shooting before she reached the front door. But she had no choice. She tiptoed towards it, grimacing as wooden board underneath her weight creaked and she glanced towards the man to see he had turned his head.

He immediately glared at her and reached for something under his jacket. "Don't even think about it, Saphira!" The man shouted angrily, startling Liz, making her jump back from the desk as Saphira dashed for the door. "Stop, you little bitch!" Saphira yelped when she opened the door as she heard a shot fired, and the bullet grazed the rim edges of the door as she ran out of the store. "Get back here!"

Saphira did not stop as she ran down the street, ducking as she heard more shots being fired, and witnessing other people fleeing as the man chased her. She turned right to run down an alley to prevent others from getting involved as she brought her hand to her mouth. "Optimus! Mirage! Where are you?!" Saphira glanced over her shoulder to see the man running into the alley behind her quickly. "Arthur just tried to take a shot at me! Now he's chasing me! Where the hell are you?!"

"What?!" Mirage was shocked as soon as he heard that. "We are on our way! We never saw the man! Is he really following you?!"

"Do you really think I would make that up?!" Saphira made a sharp left and knocked over several garbage cans to try and slow the man down. "I'm going to try and keep away from him as best as I can! I guess he must have been keeping a close eye."

"Yeah, but how?" Arcee questioned as she was confused. "We never saw him."

"It does not matter at this time. We can consider how he found out where you were another time, Saphira." Optimus had a slight desperation in his tone. "I am a couple blocks from your location, Saphira. There should be a wide alley not far from your location. It will be big enough for me to fit through to get to you. Run as fast as you can, we will reach you as soon as possible."

"I will…" Saphira yelped as another bullet rushed by her face, and she felt it too. The bullet had almost hit her. "Shit!" She glanced over her shoulder and saw Arthur was gaining ground. She did not know what alley Optimus was talking about, but she would try to find it. She ran around another corner and saw a wire fence blocking her path. "I hope you get to me soon, Optimus!"

"Keep running, Saphira! We are on our way!" Optimus was keeping a close eye of her location right now, so he could reach her as quickly as possible. "And whatever you do, do not lose the ring. Otherwise we will be in another situation like what happened with Transit." Saphira checked her hand to see the ring was still on. It shouldn't slip off, but she would still be mindful about it.

She ran towards the fence and jumped, grabbing the fence to quickly climb it. She glanced down to see Arthur and he aimed his handgun at her, but when he pulled the trigger, he realized he was out of bullets and had to reload it. He groaned in frustration, but realized Saphira jumped down on the other side of the fence when he was distracted. And when he began to climb quickly, that gave Saphira the time to run as fast as she could from him.

Saphira still had to be careful as she ran due to the snow on the ground, and one slip would be enough to cause her to hit her head. She hoped that it would happen to Arthur, as he was the one who has been looking for her. She did wonder how he found her, as she doubted he still had a car. He's lost his wealth, and that would include the vehicles he would have been used to owning and driving, so he was unlikely to have one. If he did, then she would be a bit concerned.

She darted another right, glancing over her shoulder to see he was not behind her, and she hoped that he would not find her. She was a little relieved, and she kept running. She jumped over some garbage, only to hit her right knee against a pine pallet that was sticking out into the alley with a damaged piano on top of it. When she did hit it, there was a slight, loud groan and Saphira whimpered, hopping a little along the path as she held her knee. Luckily, it would only be a bruise, but it still hurt.

Saphira didn't stop though, hoping that Arthur did not hear the noise, as she was desperate to find the alleyway to meet up with the autobots. She ran into a narrow alley and ran down it as quickly as she could. She could only hear the echoes of her shoes as she ran down the alley, and she was a little relieved. And with the alley being short, she ran into a wider alley, and she thought it was the right one at first. But it still wasn't wide enough for a truck. But it would be near, and she would find it.

She looked for another alleged as she ran until Arthur suddenly ran from the left side of her. She screamed as he managed to grab her by the shoulders and threw her into a nearby garbage bin. She hit the corner of the bin with the corner digging into her back, and she coughed as the force knocked some oxygen out of her lungs, and she had to take a quick, deep breath to refill them and back away from Arthur.

"I've finally tracked you down." Arthur still had the gun in his hand as he walked towards her with an angry, hateful glare. "It took time, but I figured out where you hide." Saphira remained silent as she did not know if the weapon was loaded or not. "Since I saw you last, I've lost more. My life is in ruin." Tears fill his eyes as he spoke. "I was successful. I was so successful! And you had to ruin it!"

She shook her head in response. "I d-didn't ruin it." He narrowed his eyes at her, making her step back further from him, even though he was approaching her slowly. "I...I never w-wanted to hurt you. But you betrayed me, Arthur. You turned your back on me. You listened to the wrong person, and this is how both of us have ended up on the street."

Arthur smirked a little. "Sure, I know you don't have that apartment anymore. But..." He waved the gun around and placed the tip of the barrel on his cheek. "You still have your Porsche. And three other vehicles, and you seem to know other people." Saphira felt a sense of alarm. He must have heard her shouting for Optimus and Mirage when she ran from him. "Optimus, I think. Strange name, but he must be your new boss or fling."

Saphira shook her head. "Um...I think you are mistaken..."

"Not that it matters!" She shrieked as he lunged at her, and she darted right, causing Arthur to trip a little and he turned to glare at her. "I hate you, Saphira. I want nothing more then to end my life, but not before I take yours so I can be satisfied." That explained why he was trying to kill her, and that made him dangerous. She turned and ran towards another alleyway. He tried pulling the trigger again, but he forgot he was out of bullets. "Damn!"

Saphira was in full panic mode. She knew that the autobots would have heard that conversation and would be moving faster. She really needed to get away from him. But he was faster than her, and as she was about to exit the alley, Arthur shoved her from behind. She was slammed into another garbage bin, but she stumbled over a pipe before he hit the bin, and she ended up hitting the side of her head against the corner of it.

She hit the ground hard as she immediately felt dizzy with pain throbbing on the side of her head, and she placed her hand on her head to feel there was a cut, and looked at her hand to see blood. He really had shoved her very hard in order to cause that. But that was the least of her concerns as she stared at Arthur fearfully as he glared down at her. She began to move herself away as she felt too dizzy to stand up.

Arthur stared down at her and shook his head. "I had thought that we would be moving forward now. We were on our way to becoming an international business, and then it had to be screwed up." He shook his head again as he thought about it. "I know Claudia was partly the reason. But she's in jail wearing orange all day, every day. So I can't do anything about her." Saphira whimpered as she continued to crawl from him. "I should have fired her a long time ago. But you..." Saphira jumped as he pointed at her. "You just had to ensure I lose everything! You worked with Nicholas to destroy me!" He grimaced sadly as he clearly missed the man. "He was the love of my life, and you've done nothing but destroy it all."

She let tears fall from her eyes as she listened to him. "You know that I never asked for any of this to happen, Arthur. I never wanted to see your company fail. It wasn't my fault you let your bad choices dictate the company." She sniffled a little, which seemed to anger Arthur further. "I...I was grateful for your help. I couldn't have asked for anything better. But you made wrong decisions. It's called karma."

"Karma?" Arthur scoffed at the girl and walked forward to lean down, and pick her up by her shoulders, making her whimper and squirm in his grasp. "Then I guess this is your karma, bitch!" He threw Saphira at a rusty shopping cart that was sitting nearby. Saphira yelped, as some of the bars of the cart were broken and sticking out, and the rusted bars cut into her right arm as it tipped over. Saphira held her arm for a moment and looked back at Arthur with wide eyes. "At least I know you have no one who cares about you. No one will miss you."

Optimus, where are you?

Saphira widened her eyes as Arthur leaned down and picked up a plank of wood with nails sticking out at the end. "Arthur...please, don't do this." Arthur looked at her with a glare. "I never wanted..."

"Shut up!" She flinched back at his anger and tried to crawl away again. "I do believe that you never wanted to do what you did to my company. I believe that." She frowned a little in confusion. "But it happened. It makes me ill to think that I even considered helping you. You were never worth saving." Saphira looked away from him, as his words were hurting her. He scoffed and smirked slightly in amusement. "I should have dragged you back to your father so they could have done what they wanted to do to you. Maybe I should still do that. They are alive, after all." Saphira froze as soon as he said that, as she knew that would end her life if that happened. "You are nothing but a worthless human. No one cares about you, no one loves you…and I can't believe that I even cared. But you are not worth it."

Saphira bit her lip, trying to not listen to his words, and she resumed trying to crawl away. She could hear the sounds of engines approaching, but they still sounded so far away. "I-I a-a-am in the s-same position as you now, Arthur. I-I h-have no job, n-no place to call home…"

"But you do have friends." She glanced at him briefly as she didn't think he knew. He chuckled as he grabbed out a camera from under his jacket. "You may not know this, but I have been keeping an eye on you for a while." She froze instantly, and felt a sense of fear as that meant he might know about the autobots. "And I have to say, I am very intrigued that you have met some strange things." He walked over and grabbed her again, forcing her to sit up and threw her against a stand of boxes, making her grimace as she hit them hard, but she leaned against them as Arthur turned the camera around to show her some images. "What are these things? And how did you meet them? Is one of them called Optimus?"

Saphira stared at the screen of the small camera to see images that have been taken of her and the autobots at the factory they had taken shelter in. She was shocked, because she would have thought that the autobots would have noticed him. But it seemed Arthur made sure that he wasn't noticed, and seemed to have found places to hide so he could take photos. She shivered as he showed images of her with the autobots at Christmas as well, and even further back when they used to shelter at the wharf regularly.

However, Saphira acted like she didn't know as she looked at the image. "Um, I am not sure how you managed to add strange robots into these images, Arthur. But I do not know what they are. They look to be rather fake to me."

Arthur glared at her and suddenly pressed his hand on her forehead, shoving her head back against the boxes, making her whimper, and ignoring the cut she already had on the side of her head. "Do not mock me. I am not a fool! You can't edit images on these cameras, and you know it. It makes me angry you have found something extraordinary, and I want to be part of it. But I know I can't, and so I will just expose them to the world."

Saphira took deep breaths as more tears fell from her eyes. He did have a point. But in order for him to show the pictures, he would have to print them, and no one would believe him. "I think you would find yourself in a mental institution if you did that, Arthur. And that would be far worse than the life you are living right now. You still can turn your life around, and find something else that can make you successful. Killing me won't change your life."

"Pfft, yeah, I doubt it." Arthur chuckled softly as he clicked through more pictures on the camera before showing a close up of Saphira and Optimus, with her sitting on his chassis while they were talking. "However, I am curious…" Saphira frowned and glanced away from the camera, even though it was hard to not look at it. "You are particularly friendly with this one. Oh! And I haven't forgotten…" He changed the image again to show an image of Transit's bus form. "What happened to this guy?" She blinked in surprise as he changed the image again, showing an image of her strapped to the back of the bus on the first day she had been kidnapped. "I couldn't believe my luck when I saw this. I was trying to follow the others in my car, but you were taken by this guy. Where is he? I haven't seen him for a while."

Saphira really did not know what to say to Arthur. She felt cornered. He knew too much. She clenched her eyes shut for a moment and managed to shoved Arthur away, making him stumble back into the shopping cart as Saphira managed to get to her feet. She whimpered as the dizziness in her head spiked quickly, making her stumble as she tried to walk away from Arthur quickly. It was very hard for her to see where she was going, but she had to get away from him.

"Bitch!" She yelped as she was shoved into a wall, making her fall to the ground and grimace as she hit her tail bone hard. She blinked as her vision was still blurry, and she struggled to focus, but she looked up to see Arthur. "No matter! I'll find out what those things are, and I'll get my money back for protecting humanity." He raised the plank up and she lifts her arms to cover her face. "But you will not have any part of it…" He paused for a moment and Saphira heard the loud rev of a truck. "What…ah! One has arrived…AAAHHHH!"

Saphira looked up and she was surprised to see Arthur had been pushed aside suddenly. She grimaced as her vision was still blurry, but she could see Optimus. He had sped into the alley and he had pushed Arthur away after getting close enough to transform, and he had hit him with his fist to hit him away from Saphira. She gazed up at him as Optimus stood over her protectively as he glanced down at her. He could see the blood stream down the side of her face and the blood stain her jacket sleeve on her right arm from the cut.

He looked back at Arthur as the man stood up and immediately took a photo of Optimus, making the autobot glare at him. "Well, well, well…maybe I was wrong. Someone cares for that little bitch after all." He chuckled softly before turning in shock, widening his eyes as Mirage, Bumblebee and Arcee speed from the other direction and transform, all of their optics were glaring at him. "Ah…I thought only one would be here…"

"You're a stupid man for stalking the girl," Mirage said to Arthur bluntly as he glared at the man. "You were the fool who threw out a hard worker, and got yourself into trouble simply because you didn't want to rock the boat. And look where you are now, idiot!" Mirage gestured to the man's clothes and laughed lightly. "You have nothing. You have no one who cares about you. You said that about Saphira, but since you've been spying on us, we are a better family than anyone else ever has been to her. Including you."

The man just laughed, dropping the pallet wood and began to move away. "I am afraid none of that concerns you. I have what I want…" He glared at Saphira and smirked. "This is not over…" He turned to run, but Optimus was quick to step in front of him and Arthur glared up at him. "What the hell are you doing?! Move!" Optimus said nothing as his optics were glaring daggers at the man, and Arthur just tried to run around Optimus's leg. "I hope you will enjoy being hunted down by the…"

Arthur did not even get around Optimus when he kicked his leg quickly, hitting Arthur and hurling the man's body into a wall extremely hard. They all heard his spine cracking and Arthur fell to the ground limp and not breathing. Optimus had zero patience for the man, but ensured that there would be no evidence that they had killed the man. And it might take some time before he is found, but that didn't matter.

"What a sad, lonely, man." Mirage walked over to the man's body and grabbed the camera out of his hand. He held the camera and shrugged. "We will need to destroy this so no one else can get it."

Optimus looked at Mirage, knowing he was right, but he turned and walked over to Saphira quickly. Arcee had run over to Saphira first, and she was checking the girl over with Bumblebee standing nearby. "Arcee…" The femme looked at Optimus as he knelt down, looking at Saphira worryingly. "Are her injuries bad?"

Arcee shook her head. "Thankfully, no. None of the cuts are deep enough to need stitches. But…" Arcee looked at the injures, knowing that they had to stop bleeding. "We don't have anything to stop the bleeding."

"Use my clothes," Saphira said to the femme quickly, and Arcee looked at her in shock. "They're just clothes, Arcee. I can wrap something around my arm, and something can be held against my head. But my head is spinning…I might have a concussion…"

"That is possible." Arcee was not a medical expert, but she did hope to not need human doctors to help. "But with plenty of rest, it should be okay." Saphira nodded in agreement and Arcee turned to Optimus. "We should take her advice. But…as Arthur has been spying on us, we need another place for refuge."

"I am aware." Optimus looked at Saphira before opening his chassis. "Allow me to place her within my chassis. I will be able to take care of her. She has some first aid supplies that might help." Saphira realized that, and she had forgotten about it briefly, but she was disorientated. However, she nodded and wanted Optimus to take her. He reached down and Arcee helped to lift Saphira into Optimus's chassis without causing her too much distress. His holoform formed to help her get comfortable on the seats before he transformed. "Relax, Saphira, he is dealt with officially."

Saphira nodded as she knew. She watched Optimus grab the first aid kit to open it and grabbed out a bandage. She managed to pull her jacket off before he noticed, and he was surprised, but with the cuts uncovered, he was able to clean it easier. He grabbed the ointment for cleaning the wounds and used a cotton ball do clean the wound, making her grimace as the wounds stung from the ointment, but she didn't pull away as he was extremely gentle.

"We are so sorry, Saphira. We had no idea he was spying on us." Optimus looked at Saphira who had her eyes on her arm. "If we had known, we would have stopped him sooner. But it seems because we weren't aware of his presence, we weren't looking for him. We had thought the last time you saw him would be it. But I guess anger can push you to do things like that." Saphira was not responding as she was focused on relaxing. However, Saphira felt extremely emotional and thinking about what had happened and what had been said made her think about her relationship with Optimus. "It makes me frustrated that we were not paying attention like we were about Transit."

"You were focused on him. That's why." Saphira rubbed her forehead a little as she was still trying to focus, even though it was hard from the dizziness. "I just…can't believe what he said to me…I almost saw my father in him…and that scared me the most."

Optimus softened his expression as he listened to her and looked at her eyes. "I hope you don't believe him. We care about you. I care deeply about you. No one is ever going to tell me that I don't." Saphira smiled at him, but her smile faded, looking away from him. Optimus looked at the scratches on her arm before he began to bandage her arm. "And he is also wrong about no one loving you, Saphira. We are your family and…"

Saphira smiled at him as she listened and she interrupted him. "And I can't hide it anymore…" Optimus looked at her in surprise as he had not been expecting her to say that. "I have been so unsure about my feelings. But they solidified a long time ago, that I just have been wanting to make sure that they were valid, and not just some silly crush."

Optimus was not sure what to say, as he didn't want her to be saying that because of her injuries. "Saphira, I appreciate you saying that. But the man did cause a head injury." She frowned at him at his response. "When you are not dizzy, we can…"

Saphira placed her hand over his mouth, and Optimus was taken by surprise, as no one has done that before. She stared at him and tears fell from her eyes. "My mind might be dizzy, Optimus, but I am not disorientated enough to say something I might regret. Absolutely not." She shifted herself closer to his holoform, and lowered her hand from his mouth. Optimus looked at her arm as he finished wrapping the bandage, which was good. "Holding it off won't change the fact, and I have realized that. And…Arthur could have killed me today. I could have jumped into the water if you had not saved me, and I wouldn't have been able to tell you how much I…I…"

Optimus watched as she struggled to say it. Optimus wanted to say it back, but felt it wouldn't be right. He didn't want to feel like he was taking advantage of her, because that would be really bad if he did. He also didn't want her to force herself to say it, because that would also be wrong, and he didn't want her to do that. But as he was about to say something, Saphira leaned forward suddenly and plants her lips on his, kissing him. He widened his optics in surprise as he had not been expecting that. But he could not help himself either as he kissed her back and his whole body relaxed.

Saphira smiled as she felt him kissing her back and she felt happy knowing he felt the same. She moved her lips back from his with a smile. "I love you, Optimus Prime." Optimus was smiling at her. "Sorry it took me getting hurt like this to say it…I've wanted to say it for a long time…but I guess I was scared…"

"Scared of me rejecting you?" She nodded and her bottom lip trembled as she was about to cry. "I never thought I would fall in love with a human. But it happened. You are special, Saphira." He kissed her lips gently, and despite the fact that his lips were metal, they were very soft. "I am happy that we both can now say it. I love you with all my spark, Saphira." She blushed deeply at him. And she was about to kiss him again. "Are you going to let me clean the wound on your head?"

Saphira smirked and leaned back from him. "Yeah…I guess you need to." She chuckled a little. Optimus used a clean cotton ball to pour ointment on and she grimaced when he applied it to the wound. He would clean the blood on her cheek with a damp cloth after, he just wanted to treat the wound on her head first. She could not help but feel happy. It felt like she no longer had to hide. "It feels good to let it out."

"I know. I've been waiting myself, because I know that falling for a human…it is not something that happens." Saphira nodded in agreement. "However, I could not help it. You've proven that you deserve life and you deserve love. I don't care what others say. In fact, your family and Arthur are wrong. Everyone deserves it." Her blush deepened, and Optimus pecked her lips with a quick kiss, making her frown at him. "I had thought my processor was wrong. But I know in my spark, this feels right."

"That's good to know." Saphira smirked at him and she began to think of some ideas. Then she remembered what she heard in the bookstore. "Oh, yeah! I did find out where to take the tribal items." Optimus was surprised as he had not expected her to say that. "I overheard the owner of the bookstore say that the Ellis Island Museum is the place that the items were to be delivered to. And they only put it out today."

Optimus hummed curiously. "A little strange they only announce that today. But you aren't going to take them back just for a reward?"

"Course not. That wouldn't be right." Saphira looked towards the box where the items were contained. "When I'm better, I'll take them back. I'll come up with a believable story about them, in case they ask how I found them."

"Good idea. You do not want to be in trouble." She shook her head as Saphira definitely did not want to be in jail for that. After all, it was an honest mistake, and she wanted to fix it. "Where is the museum?"

"Um…on the other side of Manhattan. Don't worry, I'll tell you when we take it back." Saphira watched Optimus lower his hand to grab a cloth to clean her cheek. She smiled as she looked over his form and he glanced at her when he noticed. "I'm glad your holoform looks exactly like your true form. Not sure how I'd feel if you looked human."

Optimus hummed in amusement at the girl's comment. "It is possible to modify our holoforms to appear human, but I agree with you. Plus…" He flexed his chassis slightly, and Saphira bit her lip for a moment as her blush deepened again, which Optimus was amused by. "I would only do that if necessary. If you were too sick, for example, I may consider altering my holoform for a short time to go into a store to purchase something for you."

"That would be fine." Saphira found herself enjoying the care he was giving her, and she smiled at him. "When should we tell the others?" He looked at her in surprise. "Bumblebee and Mirage will likely annoy us both."

"I do not believe we should hide it. Maybe we shouldn't tell them today, but we should soon. And I agree." Optimus finished cleaning her face, and looked back at the wound on her head. It was still bleeding, but not a heap. He grabbed a pressure bandage and placed it over her head, pressing gently to stop the bleeding. "Both of them have known how we felt, so it won't be surprising."

"Hopefully Arcee will be okay with it."

"And why wouldn't she?"

"Well…I would have thought she might like you…" Saphira knew that might not be the case, but it did cross her mind. "And I don't want her to hate me if that's true."

"I see…you do not need to be worried, Saphira." Optimus smiled at her. "You will find femmes and mechs alike do take a liking to Primes. It would not be the first time." Saphira raised an eyebrow as she wondered how he would handle that. "And Arcee probably does enjoy my company, and she may have something, but she has not actively pursued. She had an interest with someone else back home, so she is unlikely to let go of that."

"I see…" Saphira felt bad for Arcee not being able to go back to the one she loves. She hoped that she could someday. She grimaced as the dizziness came back and she placed her hand on her head. "Ugh…my head is spinning…"

Optimus shifted closer to wrap his arms around her and hold her against him. "I am right here, Saphira." He kept his hand on her head to keep the bandage against the wound. "If you fall asleep, it will be okay. You need it to rest and recover."

Saphira smiled as she enjoyed the gentleness and comfort that Optimus was giving her. It felt good to have finally admitted her feelings. It might have been a moment of vulnerability, which wouldn't necessarily be good. But now that both of them have said it, and they have finally kissed, Saphira knew that they would not be able to stop themselves. After all, they already showed a lot of signs that they were attracted to each other, and it was just a matter of time. At least they no longer had to feel like they were burdened with that information. For now, Saphira was just glad that the danger was over. She and Optimus finally confessed, and she just wanted to recover. And to return the items to the correct museum.
