Brunch of Disgustingness

POV. Third person

Chris is standing on the Dock of Shame, "the last time on Total Drama Island. Our campers were put to the test in three extreme challenges," Chris arrives at camp in a small plane, "the first to compete were Owen and Sadie, where Owen had to face his fear of flying again hahahahahaha. And Sadie proved that she can be a tough competitor even without her other half," Sadie is the first to jump out of the plane, "in the second challenge Geoff and Cody participated in a rodeo with a raging moose," the moose punches Owen in the face, "meanwhile, Gwen and Bridgette tried to figure out who the love letter they found that morning belonged to," Both girls talk to several members of their teams, "During the second round, Geoff in his distraction, had no chance and was thrown into a pile of sweaty socks. Meanwhile, Cody proved once again that in a battle between man and beast, the one who triumphs in the end is... Cody", the moose tries to throw him, but fails, then crashes into a tree, "in the last challenge, it was Lindsay and Harold's turn to stand up for their team, Harold was close to giving the victory to the catfish, but thanks to a trick by Heather, he lost the round", Heather loses her shirt showing her breasts on TV, "after that it was the turn of the moles, where Lindsay finally redeemed herself from her past defeats and won the round," she and Courtney cross the finish line, "the Gophers won the challenge, and Harold was kicked off the island, but not before making the biggest revelation yet, admitting that he wrote the love letter and that this was for LeShawna," The two kiss goodbye on the dock, "I know, I'm shocked too. Let's see what's in store for our campers in this week's episode, here at TOTAL… DRAMA… ISLAND!"

POV. Cody

Owen, Sadie, and I were walking together to the main hall.

"I can't believe I seriously jumped out of a plane, and by myself, without Katie," the BFF said excitedly.

"Yes, I thought skydiving would be a lot scarier than flying, but when I imagined falling into a big chocolate pool all my fears disappeared," Owen said, the two of whom had become friends after their terrifying experience, similar to what happened to Lindsay and me, "Thanks for the advice Cody, it helped me during the first challenge and did it again in this one," my great friend thanked me.

"Or yes, he mentioned that the advice was given to him by you, I thank you too... even though we're on separate teams," Sadie told me.

"Don't worry about it, I like to help my friends," I replied, it's funny that you talk about friendship considering that today's challenge will divide the girls and test them at the same time.

We arrived at the main lounge along with the rest, Chris and chef were laughing in a corner. Unlike the first time, things weren't so equivalent this time around. There were seven girls, and we were only three guys, this may sound like a disadvantage, but it's actually quite the opposite.

Since there are so few of us, the girls have even less reason to join, and considering that three of those girls are from the Bass, who have had more than a couple of run-ins with Heather, things in their cabin are going to get a little interesting.

"Hey, where's breakfast?" asked Owen uneasily, once everyone arrived.

"Oh, don't worry about that Owen, there will be plenty of food later on," Chris said as he and the chef kept laughing.

"I don't like this at all," Courtney said, suspecting something was wrong.

"Congratulations to the remaining ten campers for reaching the halfway mark in the competition," Chris said, "you'll all be on the jury for the final episode."

I don't know what that would do exactly, but you could feel the excitement among everyone.

Confessional.

Sadie

"I can't believe I made it all the way to the final ten, it's been tough without Katie by my side, but I know she's cheering me on from home, I miss you friend," she told the camera.

Courtney

"Only four Bass made it this far, I wish things were more even, but I guess I have to be thankful we didn't disappear at this point."

End of the confessional.

"We have the power, yeah," Geoff said.

"The two teams will become one next week," well, that means my deal with Heather ends here, "but first, all the girls will be moved to the Gopher cabin and all the guys will stay in the Bass cabin, this week's challenge is as old as history itself... a battle of the sexes," the presenter said.

We all looked at each other, "Hey, Chris, doesn't that sound a little bit, uh, uneven?" asked Owen when he noticed that there were more girls than boys.

"I'm sorry Owen, maybe you should have thought about that before you kicked all the other guys off the island," how funny, "after everyone is settled in, I'll announce the challenge, and then, you'll have a bite to eat," he said while continuing to laugh along with the chef.

"That's too suspicious," Courtney said.

"Ready for a little good news? This week, no one will be kicked off," said Chris, which quickly brought excitement over everyone, "It's all for reward and it's a good one," he said to increase the intrigue in us, "okay, time to relocate" he finished, after this we left to relocate.

-0-

"Can you believe we really made it this far?" asked Owen as we took one last look at his side of the cabin.

"Yes, we started with five guys here, and now there's only two left... We can't let them eliminate of us so easily," I said, he nodded.

Owen came out of the cabin, and I followed him, but stopped at the door when I saw a figure leaning against the wall. Owen didn't notice and walked on; I re-entered the cabin followed by the figure.

"I guess you're not just here to say goodbye," I said.

"You're actually wrong, that's exactly what I came for," Heather replied, "the merger is next week, but the teams don't officially exist anymore as of today, so our deal ends right here...", she said, I didn't miss that "but" in her tone of voice.

"But...", I urged her to continue.

She looked a little less confident now, "Well, we've made a great team so far, so I thought why leave it at that, with your skills and my plans, we could easily dominate this competition and easily make it all the way to the final two. There are more girls than boys after all, the extra protection wouldn't hurt," she offered, I guess I should have expected she would take an interest in me after helping her for quite some time in the competition.

But the truth is that she needs me more than I need her. He's trying to use the same strategy that I used. She knows how popular I've become, and how smart I am, if she tries to put together a plan against me, she runs the risk of it biting her in the back. But if she has me as an ally, that gives her an excuse to keep an eye on me and find a weakness or use me as a pawn.

"I'm sorry Heather, but it's better that we part here, our deal was until the merger, and I plan to keep it, but...", I told her before she could speak, "I'll keep my word, I won't tell anyone about your alliance, nor will I meddle in your plans", that last one was a little lie.

She folded her arms, "think about this, I won't be able to help you if you screw up later, and don't think that being so smart saves you from making mistakes", she tried to persuade me, oh believe me Heather I know that better than anyone.

"I'll be fine, you don't have to worry about me," I said.

She blushed at this, "I'm not worried about you," she replied a little too quickly, she's still the same as always for the most part. But that's why... "What are you doing?" she asked me when she saw my arms raised.

"I'm looking forward to my goodbye hug, we just broke up, after all," I replied with a cheeky smile.

"Very funny," she replied annoyed and with her arms crossed, I just stood with my arms outstretched.

She's still the same as always, but that's why...

After a while she let out a sigh and walked over to me, then gave me a big hug.

That's why I know, that deep down she's a person who feels pretty lonely, and that she wants a real friend more than anything, even if she denies it to herself constantly. This is something that can only be known by someone who has been around her long enough for her to open up and show you.

"To be clear, I'm just doing this out of gratitude for all the times you helped me," she told me, though it just sounded like excuses to me, especially with how tightly she was actually hugging me.

I tightened my grip on her a little, "And I do this, because as I told you before, I'm your friend, whether we're allied or not, whether you want it or not," I replied.

"Ha," she pulled away from me, "you can leave the good friend charade for someone else, don't think I'll pity you in the competition just for being all nice," she warned me again putting herself on guard.

"It's actually the other way around," I told her as I walked out the door, "I'm telling you now that we're apart, so you know I'm serious," I said, "remember, if you just want to talk, I'm in the cabin next door," with that said I left her alone, if I stayed she'd most likely just keep throwing tantrums.

POV. Bridgette

"Okay, I think we're ready," Courtney said as we grabbed our bags.

"I have so many memories in this cabin," Sadie said.

The three of us left the cabin, but when I was at the door.

"Oh, hello Bridgette," Geoff arrived before I left.

"We'll get ahead, goodbye Geoff," Sadie said as she picked Courtney up and left.

"Oh!" "Get me down!"

We were left in an awkward silence; I couldn't think of anything to say at the moment.

"Uh, well, it was amazing to have you as a partner, you're great," at least Geoff didn't know what to say either, which was cute actually, "I guess you have to leave now," he told me.

"yes, don't forget you said you're going to take me to meet your friends," I reminded him.

"Hahahahaha, no, of course I haven't forgotten," he said, "... see you Bridgette," he said goodbye.

I walked up to him and gave him a kiss on the lips that he didn't expect, but after a while he hugged me, "see you later Geoff", I said as I separated from him and left the cabin.

"Hey, yes, see you... goodbye," he replied all in a daze, "YEAHHHHHHHH!", then I heard him scream with excitement, I just laughed.

Confessional.

Bridgette

"I can't believe I seriously dared to do that, but things between us have been going so well, I felt it was time to take the next step, especially now that the teams are disbanded and we're going to be in separate cabins... then there's the matter of sharing a cabin with the Gophers, I mean, it can't be that bad, can it?"

End of the confessional.

I went into the moles' cabin.

"Spare me your false kindness, witch! Don't think I forgot your little trick in the cooking challenge!"

"Wow, it seems that someone is incapable of forgetting the past."

"Screw you!"

And the first thing I saw was a war zone, Courtney and Heather were arguing fiercely, while LeShawna was with her arms crossed and in a bad mood as she looked at Heather.

Confessional.

Bridgette

"But what happened in there before I arrived?!" the surfer asked, alarmed and panicked.

End of the confessional.

"Don't think I don't know what you're up to, you're trying to curry favor with us so you're not the first one we eliminate when we lose," Courtney accused Heather.

"What an imagination you have honey, that you cannot accept one's kindness is simply a cry for help," she replied.

"Excuse me!?"

"Ok, that's enough," I interjected before this went to fists, "come on girls, we can't fight each other right now, we're supposed to be a team," I told them.

"She's right, the boys are the enemy right now," Gwen said, trying to be the voice of reason.

"Pff, it's only three guys, and two of them are Geoff and Owen, great chance they have against all of us," Heather said, how weird, why did she only mention those two?

"I'm sorry Bridgette, but I put up with her through the whole game so far, I'm done with her," LeShawna said of Heather.

"And I'm not going to forget all her tricks against us," Courtney said angrily, this wasn't going anywhere. The three of them parted ways, "come on Bridgette, Sadie, this cabin has another room, we don't have to stay under the same roof as her," Courtney said.

"Oww, do we have to do it?" asked Sadie, who was getting her nails done with Lindsay, at least someone managed to make friends quickly here.

"Yes!" said Courtney as she opened the door, but Chris was standing there, which gave my friend a scare.

"Actually no, I'm afraid you can't use the other side of the cabin since we're going to use it as an extra storage room," the diabolical host said humorously, "besides, you think I'm just going to let all this drama go to waste, pff, yes right," Chris said as he left, which only infuriated Courtney.

Confessional.

Bridgette

She gives a big sigh, "and that's how the girls' team starts already divided into three parts," she said shaking her head.

End of the confessional.

POV. Cody

"And that's how my friend Brody and I crashed the beach boogie into the lifeguard tower, no one got hurt... but we were banned from that beach for a whole year, can you believe that?", Geoff told us some of his crazy and wild anecdotes of partying while we ate snacks.

We all hit it off right away, which wasn't the case with the girls, whom we heard arguing even from here.

That was good news for us, because if they were divided, then we wouldn't be their top priority.

I listened carefully to Geoff's stories, I still didn't have the slightest clue as to why he and Bridgette broke up in the future, I thought hearing a little more about his life might help, but apart from things I already knew, he didn't say anything relevant.

"That friend of yours sounds pretty cool Geoff, do you think I'll meet him someday?", oh, I'm sure you'll do, friend.

"Sure, I can introduce it to you someday."

"Great, don't you love that we don't have to deal with girls anymore?" said Owen without being aware of his words again, "ah, I meant-".

"Owen," I stopped, "for once, yes, it's nice not to have to deal with girls," I replied, Geoff nodded.

"It's time for today's challenge," Chris told us when we were all gathered in the main hall.

"Hey, where's breakfast at?" asked LeShawna, but Chris and Chef just laughed again.

"Stop doing that!" scolded Heather.

"Let's just tell them, today's challenge is the Brunch of Disgustingness", Chris said, this brings me nostalgia for China, but at least on that occasion it was real food, and not the trash they served in this challenge, "you'll be getting a nine-course meal, each member of each team must finish each dish, you will not know... if the next dish is grosser than the last... not as gross... or just as gross, just... that it'll likely be gross", the presenter finished.

"Tell them what they get if they win, Chris," the chef told him in a commercial-like voice.

"The winning team spends two days at a local five-star resort where they'll be pampered, eat gourmet nosh, and be given antibiotics against anything they may have

caught while participating in this challenge", It's a good thing the chef's food didn't make anyone sick during this challenge actually, "The losing team will go hungry tonight and spend the next two days here, on Total Drama Island, with Chef ", Chef greeted us with a sinister look, which made several of us uneasy.

"We are going to win this challenge," Heather said determinedly.

Confessional.

Bridgette

"I hope we win to ease the tension; I'll try anything except meat, I can't eat meat."

Courtney

"It may seem like us girls have the advantage because we are more, but it's the opposite, they have less chance than us that someone on their team will cower, I know that Bridgette is a vegetarian, and that Sadie would pass out over something too gross, and I don't even know about the other girls. Honestly, we have a fifty, fifty chance."

End of the confessional.

We all sat at the tables waiting for the first course.

"Ahem," LeShawna caught our attention, " take a whiff, boys, 'cause all I smell is victory for me and my girls," the big sister told us.

" ven my gitch if I have to, even my gitch if I have to... Will I have to?", Owen asked.

"I don't think you should get that far, buddy," I said.

"Good luck, Cody," Lindsay told me from the girls' table.

"Likewise," I replied, the other girls weren't very happy with her... except Sadie.

" Let's begin the challenge, first, some Hors D'oeuvres", The chef uncovered the dishes in front of us, the sight of the bull testicles was not easy at all, especially since I already knew what they were.

"All right! Meatballs", Owen nearly swallowed the whole plate.

"Wait Owen, you don't even know what's in them yet," I said, thankfully that stopped him.

"Then let me enlighten you," Chris said.

" It's beef testicle bourguignon", said the chef, all the boys made dismayed faces, even me who already knew it.

"Uh, I don't know if I can do this to my bovine brother", Geoff said looking at the meatballs.

" It's the hardest thing a man can do", Chris said, showing sympathy for once.

Confessional.

Heather

" Judging by the way the guys were reacting to the, ah... dish, I knew we could win the round, at this rate we will win the challenge, and Cody will crawl back, begging me to let him come back under my protection," said the queen bee more than a little excited, she widened her eyes when she realized that, "It's not like I need him in my alliance or want to have him around! It's strategy, pure strategy! There's nothing else there! Do you hear me!?" she said, pointing her finger at the camera.

End of the confessional.

Heather took a hard bite out of one of the testicles, causing the three of us to shudder, she's going all in here. Leshawna ate one nonchalantly, the others had some problems, but they did it anyway, except for Bridgette.

None of us had dared to try the dish yet, "What's wrong? Can't the boys handle some meatballs?" sneered Heather, oh, you asked for it.

"You certainly seem very pleased to put them in your mouth, missing anything now that we're done Heather?" I said with my eyes as blank as I could.

"Cough, cough, cough, cough," she almost choked after what I said. Everyone else had their mouths open or tried not to laugh.

"Hahahahahahaha, it's because of things like this that I get up every morning," Chris told the camera, enjoying the situation.

Confessional.

Courtney

"Hahahahahahaha... haha... ha...", She was disheveled and with her face red from laughing so much, she raised her finger to say something, "pff, hahahahahahahahahahaha".

Lindsay

"Owwww, did Heather and Cody break up? That's very sad... Wait," she said, trying to remember something.

Heather

Her face was as red as a tomato, "Nothing happened between us! My reaction was purely one of surprise at the comment! Can you hear me!? I never did...! to him...", she couldn't even say it.

Cody

"Yes, we definitely lost this first round, but at least I made Heather nervous, how many can say they've done anything like that?"

End of the confessional.

As Heather hid her face with her arms on the table, I looked at the plate of meatballs in front of me, one last time, then pushed it aside. It wasn't really worth it.

Bridgette was just looking at her plate too, it must be hard to be a vegetarian, Geoff was about to get up to go talk to her.

"Don't do it, Geoff," I said.

"But..."

"She's got Courtney, don't worry, she's not alone," he thought about it for a moment, then sat down again.

"Yes, you're right, she can do this."

...

POV. Bridgette

I can't do this, I thought regretfully, I couldn't just force myself to eat meat.

"Bridgette," Courtney called me.

"I know, but... I can't do it," I said, lowering my head.

"Hey, I've seen you do amazing things in this show, you were the first to give me your support when I needed it most, I know you can do this, just think that eating an animal didn't die in vain, that would be very bad, don't you think?" she told me with a supportive smile.

Look once more at my plate, grab one of the meatballs... And I put it in my mouth chewing it, then swallowed it, it didn't taste exactly good, but at least it wasn't as bad as I imagined it to be.

"I'm so proud of you," Courtney told me.

"Thank you," unbeknownst to either of us, Heather was watching us out of the corner of her eye.

...

POV. Cody

"Ahem," I caught the attention of the other two guys, "uh, how about a vote to give up the first round? I don't really feel like trying this dish," I told them with my hand raised.

They looked at the meatballs one last time.

"Yes, I'm all for it," Geoff raised his hand.

"Well, there will be more food... I agree with it as well," Owen said.

"It looks like the boys quit, which means the girls win the first round," they were thrilled with Chris' announcement, "Well, the score now stands at one for the girls and zero for the guys... And now, the next course in The Brunch of Disgustingness...", chef brought the next dish on a covered tray, "You guys like pizza?" asked Chris.

"I could eat pizza any time with anything on it," Owen said, again, poor choice of words.

"Anything...?", Chris asked with a devilish smile, "How about live grasshopper pizza with tangy jellyfish sauce and live anchovies?".

To his credit, Owen just shrugged, the girls on the other hand were a little more restless about the dish, "ewww, I hate anchovies," Lindsay said.

The chef served them the dishes, "uh, uh that is straight up nasty, I ain't eatin' that," Leshawna said, where did all your arrogant courage from before sister?

"Oh yes you are," Heather scolded her, " I am not missing out on an indoor heated pool just because you can't keep down a few...", she lost her fire when a grasshopper climbed on her finger, "AHHHHH! Grasshopper, okay, I can't do it," she was about to get up from the table when Gwen's hand grabbed her wrist and stopped her.

"I'm digesting a bull's precious cajones. You're. Gonna, Eat," Gwen warned her.

But before Heather could respond, a loud bang caught her attention, Sadie had fainted.

"That's not good," Gwen said.

I for one had a plan to get rid of the pizza quickly, "hey guys, look at this", I rolled the pizza into a long tube and divided it into three, "one bite, so we don't think about the ingredients".

"Old man, you're a genius," Geoff said, we finished all the pizza in a few bites before the astonished gaze of the girls.

They just hung their heads, surrendered, "looks like the guys win the second round," Chris announced, we high-fived.

Courtney arrived with a glass of water, *Splash*, "Where am I?", which she threw in Sadie's face, waking her up.

Confessional.

Chef Hatchet

" I was excited about the next dish, I made it from scratch," he said while smiling wickedly.

End of the confessional.

"All right, who's ready for the third course? Spaghetti!... Well, actually, earthworms covered in snail slime sauce and hairballs."

Geoff couldn't resist it, "No! I can't take anymore! AH!" he tried to run away from the kitchen.

"Owen," my rotund friend fell on Geoff like a ballistic missile and caught him.

"Ah, okay, okay, I'm good, I'm good," brought him back to the table, and taking the idea from the previous time, we blindfolded ourselves and covered our noses.

"I love spaghetti, spaghetti is good," he said nervously.

As we ate I heard Lindsay choke on her plate, "I can't do it."

"Me neither," Sadie seconded, if this was an elimination challenge those two would certainly be out.

"Come on girls, give it a try," Courtney said.

"It's easy for you to say it when you don't have a problem eating garbage, isn't it, Courtney?"

"What did you say!?", and there are go again.

"Done," Geoff shouted, we took off our bandages.

"Point for the guys," Chris announced.

"Come on girls, we have to stick together, or the boys will beat us," Bridgette said.

"It's not my fault they can't keep up," Courtney said, looking like she was starting to lose her temper.

"I do the best I can, don't get too high just because your team was completely dependent on you," Leshawna responded.

"Yes, as far as I know, it's you Bass who are chickening out," Heather charged, they looked like a bunch of cats ready for a fight.

"Tension, I like that, let's go for the next course," Chris announced, "No nine-course meal would be complete without soup. Today's special is French Bunyon soup with hangnail crackers," yeah, I'm not going to eat that.

Confessional.

Geoff

" I think they just use stuff from Chef's bathroom floor."

End of the confessional.

As Geoff and Owen struggled to get a spoonful into their mouths, I watched as Bridgette used a funnel to pass the soup directly down Lindsay's throat.

"I didn't even taste it," she said.

"The girls win again," said Chris, "the score's now tied up at two. Only five courses left, Bon Appetit," he told us.

...

Traini- I mean eating montage.

The chef chews on a piece of gum, then removes it and glues it to a big pile placed on a plate, then serves it to Gwen.

...

Chef squeezes a skunk's tail into a cocktail shaker, then shakes it and serves it into a glass of milkshake, which Lindsay tries to drink, but frowns bitterly after tasting it.

...

Chef painted a smiley face with whipped cream on a sandal and gave it to Cody, who just looked at the camera confused.

...

Chef sliced a pepper and put it in a stew, Owen and Geoff were anxious, until they saw that the stew also had a fish head, a banana peel and even a dented soda can.

End of montage.

After eight plates of disgust, we were all fed up, even Courtney. She may have an iron stomach, but even she can't eat so many things that aren't food.

The score was tied, which was good considering what the next dish was.

"Wow, it's still tied up, we're down to the last course in the challenge," chef removed the lids from the trays in front of us, "It's delicious dolphin wieners," the crazy presenter said excitedly, "Hot dogs made of dolphin."

Bridgette had a tragic face, "But dolphins are our friends!", I understand you Bri, I refused to eat donkey after befriending one.

"What are you waiting for?" said Heather, "it's already dead," so much empathy, "if you don't eat it we don't win."

"I can't, I'm a surfer, I swim with dolphins," Bridgette said in a panic.

"Bridgette," Courtney tried to speak, but Heather interrupted her.

"Eat it!"

"No! I won't!" she rebelled, "You can't pressure me!"

"Uh, then... Aren't you going to eat that?" everyone turned to our table at Owen's voice.

The boys had finished our sausages while Heather and Bridgette argued. Silence filled the room as the girls had their mouths open.

"Well, that was very anticlimactic," Chris said, then he regained his smile, "but who cares, the guys win the challenge," he announced.

"Yes," the three of us high-fived. I don't care if it was anticlimactic, it was the most reasonable thing to do, Dj was the only one of the guys who rebelled in this round, without him here there was no reason for us to stop, getting to the tiebreaker by feasting would have been dangerous.

Since I'm sure the girls would have chosen Courtney, and I don't know if she would have won or if Owen would still have, it was just too random... Also, there was no vomit fest this time because of that, these guys don't know how lucky they really are.

Heather threw daggers at Bridgette with her gaze, who shrank a little frightened, "you're so lucky I can't vote you out this time," the queen bee threatened.

Confessional.

Bridgette

She looks quite dejected, "I can't believe I let them all down, they'll be angrier and more separated now than before."

End of the confessional.

POV. Bridgette

Courtney, Sadie, and I were sitting on the steps of the cabin.

"Sorry guys, I really messed it up," I apologized to them.

"Okay, I didn't do so well in this challenge either," Sadie tried to comfort me.

Courtney took a deep breath, "No, it's not right, and you know why? Because Heather will try to take it out on you at the first chance she gets," she told us.

"What do we do then?" asked Sadie.

"We stand united against it."

"Are you saying that we form an alliance?" asked Sadie in surprise.

"Yes, the three of us, until that bitch leaves this island, before she can come for us, what do you say Bridgette?"

"But...", it would be better if we could all get along, I just sighed, "okay, I guess I'm in," I said reluctantly.

"Well, we'll make that bitch fall," Courtney said determinedly.

POV. Third person

Chris begins to narrate, "the guys are the big winners today", the three boys who are still in the competition are going to a cruise ship that will take them to the five-star hotel, "and the girls go their separate ways", Heather tries to open the door of her cabin, but it was locked, the others left her and Lindsay outside, "Three definitive cliques have been cemented... For now. What shocking surprises are in store for our campers next week as they head for the big merge?" Bridgette looks out the window, while on the yacht Geoff does the same, "don't miss TOTAL... DRAMA… ISLAND!"
