Wawanakwa Gone Wild!

POV. Third person

Chris is sitting at the campfire at night while stroking a beaver in his lap, "Last time on Total Drama Island. An escaped psycho killer terrorized our campers. There was screaming, there was chasing, and there was fainting. In the end, the whole thing was really just an elaborate punk. LeShawna gave Heather a piece of her mind, scolding her for all the things she'd done so far. Izzy managed to snap Cody out of his depressed state and together they managed to capture the chef. Meanwhile, Courtney had an unfortunate encounter with the real crazy killer, but unfortunate for the killer, as Courtney beat him to death for stepping on Duncan's prized gift, thus earning immunity. Which didn't really matter since Sadie was eliminated for not having the guts to deal with terror. Only seven campers remain. Who will win? Who will lose?".

*Bite*

"Ouch!", The beaver bit him on the hand as he fed it, Who will need a rabies shot thanks to this ungrateful little- Find out on this episode of TOTAL... DRAMA...ISLAND!".

POV. Cody

I was sitting on the porch of the boys' hut performing the most challenging task so far, "very good, the rules are simple, the pawn moves one square forward, the rook goes straight vertically and horizontally as many squares as you want, the bishop does the same but only diagonally, the knight moves in L, the queen does what she wants, like any queen, and finally the king can only move one square in any direction... Did you understand everything I said?"

"Squawk," Kevin tried to eat a pawn, but ended up choking.

I sighed, "This is already the fifth time it's happened... I miss Noah," he was the only one who really enjoyed a good game of chess.

Courtney arrived drying her hair with a towel, surely taking a quick shower after her morning jog, "Are you really trying to teach chess to a seagull? How much has the island affected you at this point?"

"The animals here are smarter than you imagine," Kevin vomited the pawn at that moment.

"Yes, whatever you say," she said, rolling her eyes.

At that moment the door of the girls' cabin opened, Heather stepped out onto the porch still in her pajamas and stretched out to get out of sleep, but then she looked in our direction freezing, looked at her own appearance, then blushed, ran inside and slammed the door shut.

I sighed again, "I see things are still awkward between the two of you."

"Yes... I can't just forgive her for what she did... But believe it or not, I don't like to hold grudges, I have a philosophy of forgiving and forgetting, even if it's her, but I'm having a bit of a hard time coming to terms with my own feelings... And after Izzy and I got... affectionate during the killer's challenge, it's a little awkward to be around her," especially knowing what she's feeling.

"And what about your feelings for Izzy?" she asked curiously.

"I like her," I said without hesitation, "it's just that, well, she's not a very attached person, I know that what she feels for me right now is true, but there's a chance she'll get bored quickly and her feelings will change," certainly happened a lot with Owen during TDA and World Tour.

Not to mention, she's supposed to disappear in the future, and I still don't know what the cause was.

"So, on the one hand, you have a girl that you don't know how you feel about, and on the other, you have one whose interest in you you don't know if it's temporary or permanent, and knowing how kind you are, you don't want to hurt the feelings of either of them," she grimaced, "I don't envy your situation in the slightest," She smiled a little, "I thought every teenager's dream was for two girls to fight for him, but it's not as rewarding as you expected, is it?"

I slumped on my back on the porch, "Courtney making jokes about couples, Chris must be about to bring about the end of the world."

"Hey!"

Confessional.

Chris

"Believe me, I considered it for a challenge, but you can't imagine the huge budget it would cost something like that, and hair spray doesn't grow on trees."

End of confessional.

"Well, whatever you choose to do in the end... You have my support."

"Really?" I said, lifting my head to look at her.

"Mainly because I don't have any attachment to either of them, so I don't care which one you actually choose," she said very casually.

"Wow, so much honesty," I said rolling my eyes, I forgot how Courtney sees relationships from a more logical point of view than a sentimental one.

"But in part... It's because you've always had the judgment to make the best decision... Although now that I think about it, you tend to lose your marbles when it comes to girls... And therefore, it is very likely that you will end screwing something up... but I've already accepted that that's just the way you are, you can't be good at everything, can you?" she told me humorously.

"... hahahahahahahaha".

"And now what are you laughing at!? I can kick you in the leg, you know?"

"You've really changed a lot since we arrived at this camp," she blushed at my words, "the Courtney from before wouldn't have bothered to listen to anyone's amorous ravings, much less her competition," I hadn't realized the huge change Courtney had experienced by having Duncan away from her, this is the Courtney she should have always been and not the one who ended up crying covered in shark vomit.

Sadly, it wasn't permanent, I looked at her skull necklace, she still had feelings for Duncan, there's still a chasm to cross before I can say for sure that she's safe.

I just hope I'm not carrying too many problems on my back.

"You too? I haven't changed that much," she said, looking cute while pouting.

"Well, you might have a point, who runs in the morning in a sweater, shirt, and tight pants?"

"Well, it's this, or running around in my pajamas."

"At least pink looks good on you."

Courtney froze at my words, "Cody."

"Yes."

"How do you know what color my pajamas are?"

I turned white for my screw up.

"..."

"..."

"..."

"You're seriously a pervert," she said rolling her eyes.

I breathed again, I thought she was going to kill me, but it's better for her to think that than suspect something else.

Confessional.

Courtney

"I just let that one go because I haven't forgotten all the times he's helped me... But that's not to say I'm not a little upset," she pouted.

End of confessional.

"Let's forget that, how about a game of chess with someone who knows what she's doing and isn't covered in feathers?" she told me.

I started to sweat a little, "uh, don't take it personally Courtney, but when you play you tend to be a little..."

"A little... What?"

"Competitive?".

She looked at me with a poker face, then sat down on the other side of the board, "I just forgave you a misdeed, so you have no room to argue, now play," she said with a serious look.

I swallowed, "Okay, if that's what you want..."

Confessional.

Courtney

She was kicking her foot into the wall, "Stupid game!"

End of confessional.

-0-

We were all walking towards the main hall for breakfast, Courtney walked with her arms crossed and an annoyed expression, a little away from me as well.

"What's wrong with Courtney? Did you accidentally grab her tits this morning?" Izzy asked me as if talking about the weather, since what happened in the previous challenge she is much less conservative in her jokes.

"Not all of my problems have a sexual implication, you know?"

"Sure~, of course~, Mom completely believes you honey~" she said, dripping sarcasm into every sentence.

"I'm seri-", I turned to answer her, but she was gone, why does this sound like déjà vu to me?

"Hey, where did your lunatic girlfriend go?" asked LeShawna.

Something fell on my face, I took it to see it better, it was Izzy's skirt.

"Cody, Cody, Cody, I'm amazed at how far you're willing to go in order to see my panties again, Izzy is so surprised."

We all looked up at the redhead who hung from a rope trap tied to her ankle like a bat. No one commented on her panties, it's not like her skirt was to hide them in the first place, it was more of a complementary accessory than an actual garment, she was usually lifted up with all the crazy stunts she usually does, yes, definitely an exhibitionist.

"What the hell!?" asked Heather upon seeing her, but out of nowhere, a cage fell on us.

"Well, now I know it wasn't Cody, that cage doesn't have any sexual implications, hahahaha," Izzy said, I just slapped my forehead.

"At this rate, this is going to stop being a family-friendly show at any time," Courtney said with a slight blush.

"Ha, you wish, not as long as it continues to generate as many ratings as it already does, this will continue to be the best family-friendly reality show for a looooooong time," said Chris, who had a beaver in his head, thank goodness that what Izzy and I did was away from the cameras, "Talking about it, It's time for your challenge, let's chat about it over chow. Shall we?" then he began to leave.

"Uh, aren't you going to get us out of here?" asked Geoff.

Chris threw a knife at Izzy's rope, and she landed on her feet on the cage like a cat, causing it to open.

"I wonder what our challenge will be," she said as she got down of the cage.

I walked over and wrapped the skirt around her waist again, "based on the traps and the beaver, I'd say we'll be hunting again, and done," I tied a better knot for her to let go.

She kissed me on the cheek, "thank you", I smiled, despite all her jokes I have really grown very fond of Izzy.

Confessional.

Heather

"I can't get LeShawna's words out of my head, but I can't think of when it might be a good time to talk, besides, we all saw the kiss of those two on camera, so it would be very awkward to be with him alone, I think it would be best for me to focus solely and exclusively on the competition, It'll be easier to talk to him when this whole show thing is over, it's not long after all."

End of confessional.

-0-

We were all eating the chef's sticky pasta when Chris started talking, " Campers, there are only seven of you left on Total Drama Island, after tonight's dramatic bonfire ceremony, only six of you will remain, we're nearing the end people, so look alive."

"I think you've already had more emotion in the last two episodes than you have the right to ask for," Leshawna told him.

"I know, that's why I'm asking you for something to overcome that, this show lives off drama," the presenter replied without flinching.

Confessional.

Izzy

"There are very few episodes left, which means my mission has a deadline, what? Did you think that because Izzy passionately exchanged saliva with him first, I don't want them to figure things out anymore? Not at all, Cody isn't good at holding grudges or being angry, it's one of the many things I like about him, but that's why he's uncomfortable staying like that with Heather, and since Izzy doesn't really dislike Heather, in part things haven't changed."

Geoff

I am so stoked! The final seven, and I'm going all the way, dudes! Woohoo! I think I got a good shot at winning. Heck, I won student council president two years running, and I didn't even give a speech! I can do this, man. Woohoo!

Courtney

"The last seven, I managed to get here, from now on I'll put my foot on the pedal and won't stop."

End of confessional.

"Today's challenge involves making like our province's great rangers and game wardens, you'll each have eight hours to trap an animal, which you must bring back to the campfire, unharmed. Rangers and game wardens often have to relocate animals for their own good and the good of campers", sure, because you care so much about our well-being, and I have the scars to prove it, "and also, I have good news for you, there will be a reward for the winner, the reward for winning today's challenge is a meal of all of your favorite foods", the host finished.

"I am so winning", Heather said with the most determination I've seen from her in the last few days, I'd be lying if I said it doesn't make me feel a little better to see her motivated again.

" So you're not gonna eat that?", Owen asked her about her pasta.

Confessional.

Owen

"I can't believe I'm in the final seven, can you imagine me, winning? Hahahahaha, that would be awesome, Woo-hoo! Everyone else here totally deserves it more than I do, though... except Heather, I'm not afraid of her though".

"Owen?".

*Knock, knock*

"Are you almost finished in there?", He cringed in fear as he heard Heather outside.

"Just about done".

End of confessional.

Chris brought us to the boat house to start the challenge, "alright, it's time for everyone to pick an animal," he said while holding a safari hat with papers inside.

Owen was the first to choose, but I was a little surprised at what came out, "seagull", that wasn't an option last time.

"That animal has nothing to do with your recent interaction with Kevin, does it?" I asked rolling my eyes.

"What? No~ I'm mature enough to know that it's silly to hold a grudge against an animal."

Confessional.

Chris

"Yes".

End of confessional.

"So why did you put 'preferably Kevin' under the word seagull?" asked LeShawna.

"Are you going to keep making accusations or are you going to pick an animal? I remind you that you only have eight hours," the presenter said, evading the question. We all took a paper.

"Deer," Izzy said, I remember he didn't find any during the episode, however, he managed to run into a horse, just a normal thing for Izzy I guess.

"Frog", said LeShawna.

"Beaver," that's Geoff's, it looks like those three had the same thing as before.

"Duck," said Courtney, the same as Gwen, curious.

I read mine, "raccoon", those are the ones that transformed into a mecha-raccoon, the nature of this island is out of control.

"Bear!?" said Heather incredulously, then crumpled up her paper angrily, "Do you want to stop involving bears in your silly challenges!?".

"Hahahahahaha, when it stops being funny," Chris sneered, "you do get sixty seconds in the boathouse to gather any equipment that might help."

"Unless there's an animal trainer and a zebra carcass in there, I don't think it'll be adequate, this is ridiculous".

"It's true, my sweet mountain geek is the only one who can subdue a bear with his bare hands," Izzy said as she hugged me from behind.

"Izzy, I only faced a bear once, and it was because Lindsay was in danger, it's not something I want to repeat in the immediate future," I said a little uncomfortable with the idea.

Heather flinched, but she pulled herself together quickly, "anyway, I'm not going to do it," she said as she left, I'm surprised at how confident she is to assume that someone else won't find her animal, otherwise she wouldn't have taken it so lightly.

" I don't think I've mentioned the penalty yet", Chris said as he watched her leave.

" I don't care. I'll take it".

" Loser cleans the communal washrooms", We all looked at the latrines with frightened faces, I felt how Izzy tightened the grip of her embrace a little uneasily.

"Sorry hehehe, I think I ate too much of that delicious paste", Owen said, then farted for emphasis.

Technically, it's the second to last to catch his animal that would clean the bathrooms, as the first one would be eliminated, that was a mistake by Chris.

" All right, campers, you have just one minute in the boathouse to grab your critter catching gear".

...

We entered the boat house and immediately started making a mess, everyone was looking for something to help them with their animal.

"Give me that."

Courtney and Heather were fighting over the fishing net, she was slowly starting to regain her fire.

I took the duck bait, "hey Courts, there is some duck bait over here."

"Sweet", she dropped the net, "pff".

Heather fell sitting in the bucket of fish, "I think there are still fish here."

"You said fish? Those are Kevin's favorites, I can keep that bucket," Owen asked.

"Ten seconds remaining," Chris said.

Izzy grabbed a bunch of boxes and ran outside.

"Is that allowed?" Courtney asked, but Chris simply ignored her.

Confessional.

Heather

"This challenge is clearly against me, but I'm not giving up, not after... Not after all I've sacrificed to get here, not now, maybe a lot of what I did can't make up for it even if I win...", now she was more serious than ever, "but there's no going back."

End of confessional.

We went outside where Izzy checked that they had the boxes that she took out that could be useful to her.

" 'Kay, bobbin' thingies, old sandwich, stick, big nasty hook… Score! Tranquilizer gun! Guys, look!", It's completely normal that I don't feel safe with her carrying a weapon of any kind, right?

" Could you please aim the other way?", Heather complained.

"Everybody ready?" asked Chris.

"Yes," they all said.

"No", Heather complained.

" Game on!", Four people set out to look for their animals.

"Cody, you don't have anything to catch your animal," Izzy said to me when she saw that I had nothing in my hands, "Do you want to use my tranquilizer gun?"

"It's okay, I'll manage on my own," besides, that gun couldn't handle so many raccoons.

"Ok, momma believes you," she grabbed my chin and gave me another kiss on the cheek only this time it was much longer.

"Aw, I mean yuck!" said Chris.

"I'm leaving, Izzy has a deer to hunt," with that he ran away.

"Good luck," I looked at the only person left, Heather searched through Izzy's boxes for anything that might help her deal with the bear.

I started to leave, without Duncan here to offer her an alliance I don't know if she could catch her animal, on the other hand, she seems to be starting to regain her motivation, maybe she can do it alone. The only thing I'm sure of... I don't feel ready to face her yet, the best thing would be to let things cool down a little more, we are far from the end of the story, it's just beginning, we'll have time to talk.

POV. Third person

Owen vs Kevin round 1...

Owen stood on the dock with the bucket full of fish in his hand.

Confessional.

Owen

"Kevin and I don't have the best relationship, on the one hand, he keeps stealing my fish when we are fishing, although on the other hand I almost suffocated him by farting him in the face, hahahaha, but I'm sure we can come to a mutual agreement."

End of confessional.

"Come on Kevin, come here little bird, I have a bucket full of delicious fish just for you," Owen called him, but there was no sign of the dead-eyed seagull, "weird... he's usually here at this time of day," Owen looked at the fish for a while, looked both ways to make sure there was no one in sight... Then he put it in his mouth.

"Squawk," Kevin flew by and snatched the fish from him.

"What!?", he picked up another fish, but Kevin peeked out from under his armpit and stole it, "What!?", he pulled out another, but Kevin pulled it from above his head, "Come on!", now he only had one left.

Owen hugged the fish and looked in all directions.

"Squawk."

Owen saw Kevin standing on the dock, he advanced towards him, "oh no, get away from me", he said as he backed up, he took another step, "I'm serious", Owen backed up again, another one, Owen backed off, "you don't know what I'm capable of", one more step.

*Splash*

Owen fell into the water when he ran out of floor, Kevin snatched the fish from him in mid-air.

"Squawk."

Confessional.

Owen

He was soaking wet, "I forgot the point was to catch the seagull, hahahahaha."

End of confessional.

A duck is eating from a pile of breadcrumbs, Courtney is hiding in some nearby bushes, "that's it sweetie, come and get it."

The duck finished the pile, but saw a trail leading into the bushes, followed it as it ate.

"That's it, closer, just a little more, a little, closer...", the duck was in front of the bushes, "Now!", she jumped on the duck.

"Quack, quack," but the duck moved out of the way.

Courtney slammed her face first into the ground.

"Quack, quack," the duck stuck out his tongue and sped away.

Confessional.

Courtney

She was with her arms crossed and branches and leaves in her hair, as well as an angry expression, "Ducks can't run like this! Nothing on this island makes sense!"

End of confessional.

-0-

LeShawna was in a swampy area of the island, "Is that an impression of Geoff in the mud?", sure enough, Geoff's figure along with an impression of his face was perfectly captured in the mud.

She decided to ignore it, she hadn't come for that, but, "bingo", she saw a frog on the ground, "this will be too easy", she walked over with a bucket raised, but the frog jumped away from her, approached again, but walked away again, approached once more, the toad jumped, "now I got you", it seems that this time she would catch it.

"Croak".

*Splash*

But she fell into a pool that was deeper than it looked, poked her head out of the water with the bucket on top of it, " Yeah, Froggy gonna pay."

"Croak".

POV. Heather

I dragged a huge trash can into a cave, I still didn't know what I was going to do, I guess I can get your attention and then run, I mean how fast are bears really?

"Hello?", I screamed into the cave, "I have a huge can of delicious trash just for you", there was no answer, "come on, you just have to go out and get it", there was still no answer, I was already getting angry, "Look, you stupid animal! I'm really trying here! It wouldn't kill you to collaborate a little!"

"GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!".

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!", I ran off after that.

Confessional.

Heather

"Agh, this is impossible, how does Chris want me to capture a bear by myself? Who does he think I am? Cody?" she contracted as she said his name, "... Cody," she shook her head, "no, it's not worth it, right now that will only do more harm than good...", she sighed, "but I don't have any choice, do I?"

End of confessional.

-0-

POV. Cody

"Okay, this seems to be the place," I came to a part of the forest that had a lot of big rocks, I remember this was where Duncan stumbled upon those raccoons, and it's also a place I drew on my maps a while back. The only thing I brought with me was a backpack. Chris didn't say we couldn't use something different from what's in the boathouse.

"Purring".

I saw a raccoon digging near the rocks, "hey", that caught his attention.

"Multiple purring", as well as that of all his friends.

*Robotic Sounds*

They piled up on a wall of raccoons, I swallowed, I hope this plan works.

-0-

POV. Third person

We see Chef Hatchet taking out the trash, "Bonzai!"

*Boom*

A moment later he collapsed with three darts in his ass, courtesy of Izzy, " Whoops."

Confessional.

Izzy

" Oh, my gosh, I should totally win! Okay, you know that time I dressed up as a bear and like, scared everyone and I was like "Rahhh!" and they were like "Ahhh! Save me!" Well, if someone else dressed up as a bear and it wasn't me, I totally wouldn't have been scared! I would've known, which makes me smarter than they are, oh, did I mention I have an IQ of 188? Because I do!... although Cody realized right away now that I think about it, and even though he seemed to be the most scared, yes, at that moment he was still afraid of bears," now she looked very embarrassed, "I'm sorry honey, at least I made up for it right away, but that's between you and me."

End of confessional.

POV. Third person

Owen vs Kevin round 2...

Now Kevin was standing on the edge of the dock, there was no sign of Owen anywhere.

In the water below the dock a trail of bubbles moved toward where Kevin was.

"Hehehe, he won't even know what happened," whispered Owen, he approached the edge of the dock from below, with only the top of his head peeking out, Kevin didn't have the slightest idea what was going on.

And that worked against Owen. Kevin turned around with his butt pointing at the water, Owen's eyes widened.

*Shit*

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!", That was heard throughout the camp.

-0-

We see a beautiful white steed drinking water from a lake.

*Bang*

The steed widened his eyes and then collapsed to the ground, a dart sticking out of his ass.

Izzy was watching this from some bushes, "Whoops".

-0-

After hours of wandering through the woods, Geoff was finally able to find what he was looking for, a beaver prey, he looked at it intently thinking about what he should do.

Then something occurred to him, he took a deep breath and submerged his upper body in the water.

"Ah," when he came back out he was inside the beaver dike, there were three of them about to have a family lunch, they looked at the intruder in their home.

*Slap*

"Ouch!", one of them slapped him in the face, "beavers, don't make me angry, you wouldn't like me when I'm angry", Geoff threatened, now the three of them raised their tails.

*Slap, slap, slap*

It was the only sound coming out of the dike.

A small plane flew over the island.

*Bang*

Until she was hit by a dart, collapsing from the air as if she were a living being.

Downstairs Izzy watched this with wide eyes, "whoops."

Confessional.

Izzy

"Yeah, genius runs in my family, and psychotherapy. Uh-huh. Once at my family barbecue, my uncle cut off his ear with a steak knife to emulate Van Gogh because he's like, all artistic, but he chickened out and only cut half of it off. And it was like ha-hanging there. It was so gross! I swear, I think some of it ended up in my salad... now that I think about it, Cody would probably get along with my family... On the other hand, my mother might try to steal him from me... as well as my cousin or my weird aunt Gertrude... or even my eccentric cousin Michael... You know what? It's better if we postpone that encounter for as long as possible."

End of confessional.

-0-

POV. Courtney

"Panting, panting, I'm not, getting beaten, by a duck," I was running after the logic-defying duck, I was fast, but for an impossible to comprehend reason, he was faster.

"Quack, quack."

The duck accelerated, I stopped to breathe, but then I looked at the duck bait container, I was doing everything wrong.

Confessional.

Courtney

"I can't believe I wasted an hour of my life chasing a supersonic duck, instead of doing the obvious. This show is starting to affect my judgment."

End of confessional.

-0-

POV. LeShawna

I hung a piece of cheese to a fishing rod, I must be freaking out if I'm starting to use tactics I saw in cartoons.

I hung the cheese near the toad, "croak".

"Come on, froggy, It's gouda."

But he just looked away, " Oh no, you are not tricking me froggy, I'm not coming over there! You want this cheese? You are coming over here."

"Croak", I guess I can take a couple of steps, I took a step forward, "croak".

"Okay, one more step. But that's it", I took another step.

*Splash*

And I fell back into the water, "Froggy be playing with the wrong sister".

-0-

POV. Cody

The wall of raccoons looked at me suspiciously, but at least they hadn't formed the mecha-raccoon yet, that was already a plus.

I raised my hands in surrender, "ok, calm down, calm down everyone, I just came to talk, could you at least listen to me?", I didn't have to question if they understood me, I know for sure that they could.

"Murmur, murmur, murmur," they talked to each other, but I imagine they came to an agreement, as they were silent and stared at me.

I took off my backpack and placed it on the ground, "I just need one of you to accompany me to the campfire, it's for a challenge, I promise nothing bad will happen to him, it's only until the end of the day... Any volunteers?" I asked a little nervously, I know you're not supposed to be afraid of wild animals, but these raccoons made Duncan fly, that already makes them very scary.

"Grumbling, grunting," they looked at me with angry faces, I think they weren't fond of the idea.

I could feel the sweat dripping down the back of my neck, time to play my last card, "of course, I don't expect you guys to do this for free", I slowly lowered myself to the height of the backpack before their expectant gaze, "I hope this is more than enough", I opened the zipper of the backpack, inside were many bags of snacks and sodas, A bright, almost heavenly light accompanied the image, "If you do me this favor everything will be yours," if there's one thing raccoons love more than vandalism, and attacking preachers, it would be junk food.

1

They started drooling in front of the sight, all these snacks are part of Owen's secret stash, but he won't miss a few things, he has a lot more after all.

*Robotic Sound*

The raccoons tore down their wall and huddled together in a circle, arguing with each other like a soccer team does before a game, some even poking their heads out to look at me from time to time.

Finally, they broke the circle and one of them advanced towards me.

"Purring".

I knelt down to his height, "I guess you're coming with me?" he climbed onto my shoulder.

"Purring".

"Sweet!", I took the backpack and emptied all its contents, the others lost any inhibitions and came over to eat the snacks, it was kind of funny how human they looked like that, "I guess it would be better if I put a name to you... I know, I'll call you Boss, what do you think?" I asked the animal on my shoulder.

"Purring".

"I'll take it as a yes, well let's go," I started walking, but stopped when I realized something important, "one more thing," I said to the raccoons, "Does anyone know where I can find a deer?"

-0-

The way back to camp was pretty smooth, I didn't see any of the others anywhere, I made it to the campfire, the cage was empty, so I was the first.

Heather was sitting on one of the stumps with her hands on her chin, I'll never forget her face when she saw me come in with a raccoon on my shoulder, open the cage and let it enter it on its own.

"Are you some kind of animal guru or what!?" she asked me somewhat frustrated.

I wish, most of my interactions with the animal kingdom involved fighting, I'm a long way from being like Dawn or Ella, the aura reader and Gwen's cousin who is a fan of princesses, who did have a knack for these things.

"I only negotiated with him in exchange for his help," my response only irritated her a little more.

"Open the cage!" Courtney came running into the distance, spilling a trail of bait in her wake.

I opened the cage, the bait ran out just as Courtney arrived at the entrance, a moment later a green and brown blur entered in it, then I closed it.

The raccoon and duck interacted inside, I wonder where they knew each other from.

"Well done Courts".

"Panting, panting, thank you," she said as she leaned on her knees and panted wearily. Without any warning she took off her sweater right in front of me.

She still had her shirt underneath, but she was so wet with sweat that it had become see-through as it clung to her body, her bra was completely visible through the wet garment.

I froze in place, she wiped the sweat from her face with her sweater, "I need a place to sit," she went to sit on a stump, completely oblivious to the display she had just given me.

Confessional.

Cody

"This camp may be bad by basic summer camp standards, but there's no denying that it has its good stuff," he said with a smile.

End of confessional.

I shook my head to shake away the disbelief, well now that I'm done, I should seek out Chris to ask for my reward, and then help Izzy with her problem.

"Cody... wait," I stopped, or maybe not, Heather sighed, "let's talk in private... Please."

We walked away from the campfire and Courtney, now there was no one around, she was looking everywhere, I for one didn't take my eyes off her, "I can imagine what you're going to ask of me, but tell me anyway".

She sighed again, and finally looked into my eyes, only hers were submissive instead of imposing, "I want you to help me capture the bear... I can't do it alone," she said.

"...", I closed my eyes for a moment, I didn't want to be angry with her, it may seem like it's because I'm altruistic, but no, it's because she's my friend, I know she isn't at her best right now, but it's not like I've been a saint, I was labeled as a creep after this season. But we both changed growing up, I'm the one who understands her best in the world, I have the context for it, and to know how lost she really is... But still, I can't pretend nothing happened.

She was quiet during my reflection, I opened my eyes and looked at her, "Heather, I'm sorry, but I can't help you, neither of us is comfortable around the other, I doubt very much that it will do you any good", I started to leave.

"Are you going to let Lindsay's sacrifice be in vain?" she asked me a little desperately, I stopped dead in my tracks when she said that.

"Whether we like it or not, she's gone, and it doesn't matter how we feel about it... That's not going to change," I clenched my fist a little, "I at least don't know how to feel about it, but until I see her again, I'm not going to give up, or back down, if you don't help me, that's okay, I'll have to deal with it, but, please... don't think I didn't care about her."

"...", I relaxed my hand, and turned around, "... Alright, let's get this over with."

"Hey Chris".

"Hi Cody, I guess you've come to ask for your reward?"

"I can order whatever I want for dinner, right?"

"If it's in my power, I'll get it."

"Okay, get assorted sandwiches and cans of soda so everyone can grab them from the table."

"Being altruistic or trying to get on the good side of others?" I ignored him.

"Also a basket of scented candles."

"Weird request, but I guess I can do it, anything else?"

"... yes, a pudding... and a bottle of grape soda."

"Alright, I'll tell the chef to make the sandwiches."

"One last thing... I want to ask you something... about the rules of this challenge."

I could swear the presenter got horns and a tail with a triangle at the tip when he smiled, "oh, I've waited all day for you to ask me that."

Now I was in the woods looking for Izzy. I saw Geoff running around with a beaver dam and LeShawna covered in mud carrying a toad in a bucket, that means only Owen, Izzy and Heather are missing.

I heard bushes move, makeshift antlers and a distinctive rear were visible in the thicket.

"Izzy," she jumped up and pointed her gun at me, I raised my hands somewhat alarmed, "Wait! I'm unarmed!"

"Cody?" she put the gun away and came to hug me, "What are you doing here? It's dangerous, you know? I always shoot before I ask questions."

That explains why she shot so many things that weren't a deer. I scratched the back of my head and sighed, I shouldn't involve her in this, but I can't do it alone, "Izzy there's something I need to do, and I'm going to-".

"Apapapapa", She silenced me by putting her finger on my lips, "I will."

I had to blink twice, "huh, what?"

"Whatever you were going to ask of me, I'm in."

"Izzy, you don't even know what I'm going to ask of you, this favor could cost you the competition."

"Hahahahahaha, Cody, Cody, Cody, I think it's you who doesn't get it, I have no idea what you're planning, but it sure will be amazing, it always is, so what if it costs me the competition? That kind of risk only makes it more exciting, besides, you wouldn't ask me for something like that, unless you're sure it's going to work," she leaned over and put her forehead on my shoulder, "so let me help you relieve some of the weight you're carrying."

I just looked at her, my heart beating fast, I can't believe the faith she has in me, I'm not even sure this is going to work, but she's put all her trust in me. So far I've only been burdened with most of the problems that need to be solved... It's rewarding to know that I can count on someone for once.

Izzy's eyes widened as I took her chin and kissed her on the cheek, this being the first time I was the one initiating a kiss since we got affectionate in that clearing, she was well aware of how red she was when I hugged her, "you are more than I could have ever asked for", She hid her face on my shoulder.

Confessional.

Izzy

She was sitting hugging her knees, half of her face which was red, was hidden behind them, "it's not fair... it's supposed to be Izzy who makes him embarrassed."

End of confessional.

POV. Third person

LeShawna, Geoff, and Courtney were eating sandwiches from a table the chef brought to the campfire, as Cody requested the others could help themselves to whatever sandwiches they wanted.

"Dude, if that mountaineer's intention was to make everyone on the island fall in love, I wouldn't have a problem," Leshawna said.

"Hahahaha, neither do I", Said Geoff.

Courtney rolled her eyes, she had put her sweater back on at some point, "please don't give him weird ideas."

At the rate things were going, it seemed more than obvious that Heather would be the last, so everyone was relaxing.

"Open the cage!", Owen came running, he was holding Kevin by the legs while he flapped his wings and pecked him in the face, he reached the cage and got into it, "Close it!".

"Are you sure?" asked Chris with a smile.

Chris closed the cage with Owen inside, he let go of the seagull and breathed a sigh of relief, but then he noticed that all the animals in the cage were looking at him with a bad face, "uh, hi, animals".

Owen vs Kevin & Company Round 3 The Rematch...

"AHHHHHHHHH!".

Winner: Kevin.

POV. Heather

"Here you go," Cody handed me a walkie-talkie and a dart gun, "Izzy lent it to me so you could catch your prey," I couldn't help but shudder a little at her name, that girl keeps sneaking while I take baths, and the worst part is that I think I'm starting to like her.

I shook my head, it's not the time to think nonsense, "thank you."

"Remember the plan?"

"Yes, but I still don't understand what you're going to do."

"You just wait here and when it's time shoot the bear", yes, that's all he told me, he didn't mention how he plans to lure the bear here, but I'm lucky that he even decided to help me, so better not to complain too much, "well, I'm leaving, I'll talk to you on the walkie-talkie, so you can get ready", With that said, he left.

I hid in some bushes and began to reflect on the myriad of things that have brought me to this point, more specifically the boy who is helping me once again.

When he asked me to be part of my alliance, I thought it was to keep himself safe, that's why I couldn't understand why in the end he decided to leave anyway, but seeing all that he has achieved on his own, only with ingenuity and kindness. Now I realize that he didn't need the alliance to begin with, he just did it to keep the team together and just as LeShawna said to give them a more dignified send-off.

He played the game better than I did, because he never had to stop being nice to achieve his goals. We are totally different... And I envy and admire him for that.

He said goodbye to many friends along the way, but it was never with complete sadness, while the only person I could say goodbye to, I couldn't even look into the eyes as she was leaving.

And that still haunts me. Lindsay... If we ever meet again in the future, will I have the courage to say, "I'm sorry."

"Heather, get ready, the bear is on its way," don't tell me he actually did?

"Pff, what a joke," I prepared to shoot, "of course he did. What the hell am I thinking?"

"GRRRRRRRRRR!", A bear chasing a deer appeared from the woods, I quickly aimed at it, when he reached a certain point, the fishing net he had fell on him.

"Grrrr", That distracted it.

*Bang* *Boom*

It fell asleep when I shot a dart at it, "I did," I said surprised, "yes."

Cody arrived at that moment tired from running, "Wow, it looks like- mmm".

He didn't finish because I crushed his face into my chest when I hugged him, I couldn't care less about the awkwardness at this time, the satisfaction I had was similar to what I experienced after dancing on stage during the talent show, "thank you".

He didn't pull away, but he didn't hug me back either, "thank Izzy, she's the one who lent us the gun."

POV. Cody

After we put the bear to sleep we took it to the cage with the other animals, we didn't say anything along the way, and I'm sure Courtney looked at me a little disappointed when she saw me help Heather, but that didn't matter to me at the moment.

A few hours later we were at the campfire ceremony, and I'm not going to lie, I was incredibly nervous, everything I planned could come crashing down here.

"Welcome to one of the most important campfire ceremonies yet," Chris said, "after today, there will only be six left, this is reaching its final stage and I won't lie, it was amazing to see it first hand."

"Wait a minute, aren't we missing someone here?" asked Courtney.

"Yes, where's Izzy?" asked Owen.

"Hehehehehe, it's funny that you ask that, bring it on!"

A couple of interns brought something in a cart, it was the sleeping bear.

"Why is the bear here?" asked Heather suspiciously.

"It's because it's not a bear," Chris walked over to the cart "it's...", then removed the bear's head.

"¡Woo~ hoo~! Hahahahahaha... I can't feel my legs~".

"Izzy!?".

The bear was actually a dizzy Izzy due to the tranquilizer dart.

"Yes, the bear was Izzy, which means...", Chris pointed his finger at Heather in dramatic fashion, "Heather! You're out."

"What?" she stood up in surprise, the others wide-eyed in disbelief.

~0~

De vuelta con Izzy y Cody...

"I know where we can find a deer, but I need you to dress up as a bear and allow Heather to shoot you with a tranquilizer dart while you chase it," I told Izzy the plan, but it still seemed too much to ask her for this.

"Why?" was her only question.

"One of the rules of the challenge that Chris didn't say is that it's forbidden to sabotage another competitor while hunting their animal. If Heather shoots you while you're chasing the deer, it'll be labeled sabotage... which means Heather will lose the challenge."

"But that means Heather will be kicked out! Cody you can't do that, you guys haven't made peace yet," she told me.

I looked at her wide-eyed, "Do you still want us to make amends? After everything that's happened? After what... is going between you and me?"

"Hahahahahaha, Cody," she took my cheeks, "Can you look me in the eye and tell me you don't have feelings for Heather?"

"...", I sighed, "no... I can't do it."

"I know," she put her head on my chest, "because your heart is that big, that's why you can't bear to be fighting with her, because you like her... you love her as much as you love Izzy," she said, taking my hands.

"How can you know that what I feel is the same for both of you?" she took my cheeks again, only this time she crushed them.

"Because Izzy is an expert in love, that's why," I rolled my eyes, seriously, I don't know why I expected a serious answer.

"And are you okay with how Heather feels about me?"

"I only realized I was in love a week before I threw myself at you, and it was eating me up inside... I can't imagine how she must feel since she's tried to hide it for much longer," she told me, I hadn't thought of it that way, "besides, I don't know what you're complaining about, having two sexy girls in love with you should be a dream for a pervert like you."

I sighed, "It seemed weird that we were talking for so long without you calling me a pervert."

"It's just that, like I told you that time, Izzy doesn't care that you're a pervert," she smiled, "because that makes everything around you funnier," I couldn't help but blush, "Izzy will help you eliminate her, but in return, you have to talk to her one last time before she leaves, don't let her be the first one you say goodbye to on bad terms, It doesn't suit you," I smiled and hugged her again.

"I don't think I deserve you."

"But you've got me, and there's nothing, and there's no one who can do anything about it."

I took the bottle of grape soda from my pocket.

"You see, one of the rules of this challenge, was not to sabotage another camper's hunt," Chris said.

Uncapped it, Lindsay...

"And since Heather shot Izzy while she was trying to catch a deer."

This is for you.

"That disqualifies her, so she loses the challenge, and she's kicked out of the competition."

I drank from the bottle.

"It was fun while it lasted... but I'm sorry Heather, you're leaving the island today."

I was wrong, I thought that because I was her only friend I had to be the one to forgive her, but that's not how it works, she hadn't earned it.

That's why, as your friend, your true friend, I leave you with the most important lesson that you and I, both of us, learned on the world tour.

Whether it's by acting like a creep or cruel to others,

Heather sat on the stump in shock, taking in everything that had happened.

There is no one who is exempt from karma,

She didn't yell, she didn't complain, she didn't throw a tantrum.

For this is an equivalent retribution,

I lower my head with a sad, but resigned look.

So that when the day comes to say "I'm sorry"

Heather gave a long, tired sigh, she's officially thrown in the towel.

This is more than just words.

I was standing on the dock of shame next to the boat of losers. I was the only one here, the others decided to give us privacy, which meant listening to everything from the edge of the dock.

Heather walked by, ignoring them on her way here, only stopping when she was in front of the boat, "you had it all planned out, didn't you?" she asked.

"No... originally I was going to leave you alone, I imagined you wouldn't want to face a bear, but then you mentioned Lindsay, then I knew that turning a blind eye wouldn't solve anything and I still couldn't forgive you for what you did to her," I looked at her, "not until you understood."

"I guess I asked for it... I haven't felt well since her last words that day."

"And how do you feel now?"

She frowned, "angry, exhausted... but also in a way relieved, I feel like now I don't have a lot of stressful things to think about, I feel good... But it still bothers me to lose a hundred thousand dollars."

"Hahahaha, I guess that sucks... If it makes you feel better... I forgive you, and I really hope Lindsay gets to do it someday."

"Thank you," I offered her the remaining half of the soda, "yuck, I don't like grape soda."

"It was Lindsay's favorite".

"...," she drank the rest silently, "you're the worst ally anyone could have."

"But the best friend you could ask for."

"Yes, friend..."

"KISS ALREADY!" yelled Izzy from LeShawna's back.

...

POV. Third person

"Girl, what's wrong with you? That's your boyfriend over there, you know?" asked LeShawna.

"Pff~, so what Owen~?"

"I'm not Owen".

"You can't tell me you don't want to see them kiss to justify all the sexual tension they've kept us expectant with since the beginning of the show~"

"..."

"..."

"..."

LeShawna

"How is it possible that no one could refute that?"

Courtney

"Izzy is completely crazy, but it has nothing to do with me, so I don't really care."

End of confessional.

...

POV. Cody

Heather smiled, "Well, you heard the lunatic."

Heather grabbed a handful of my shirt and pulled me to her with a kiss on the lips.

My eyes widened, an adrenaline rush similar to the one I felt with Izzy the first time went through my body and almost reset my brain.

Confessional.

Izzy

He had a trickle of blood coming out of his nose, "hahahahahahahahahahahaha, he actually did it," he laughed hysterically, "Is it weird that I found that very hot?... nah~".

End of confessional.

The kiss lasted almost a minute, when we separated we were both panting a little and had red faces, "that was because of everything you did for me so far", she whispered, "and this...", she gave me a push, for a moment I floated in the air.

*Splash*

Then I fell into the lake, "is for everything else," she got into the losers' boat, "you better win, because that kiss wasn't free," was the last I heard from her as I floated belly up in the water.

"Pff, hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha", I laughed like crazy... She hasn't changed at all.

-0-

"And that's the last one," I was standing outside the communal bathrooms. I had lit all the scented candles I asked Chris for as a reward, Izzy was the only one who didn't get an animal, but since Heather was kicked out, she would have to wash the toilets, however, her legs still didn't work.

She was currently sitting on a log eating pudding, "thanks for helping me," she said.

"Are you kidding? It would have helped you even if you could walk, it's the least I can do."

"You're too nice," she leaned on her hands and looked at me with a smile, "I'm glad for it."

I blushed, but smiled back, "because Cody is a nice guy."

"Hahahahaha, that's true... And? How do you feel?"

"... I don't think we've figured things out... But, we're not on bad terms either, I'd say we went back to the beginning."

"That's better than nothing."

"Are you sure you're okay with everything... about this?"

"Do you want me to be completely honest with you?" she asked me seriously, and I swallowed a little, "yes... absolutely... hahahahahaha."

"I don't know what I was waiting for."

"Also, I don't know if you've noticed, because you're a little slow sometimes, but technically I've already tasted you both," she said as she licked her lips.

"When have you-oh...", right, the bathrooms.

"She pretended she didn't like it, but I'm pretty sure she enjoyed it," a trickle of blood escaped me from her words, this girl has no inhibitions to speak, "... hey Cody, come here."

"What's going on? Hmm," she pulled me by the neck and kissed me, sticking her tongue in my mouth immediately, we were like that for a whole minute.

She pulled away, but didn't let go, "that pudding didn't taste like anything to me," she said sticking out her tongue, "I think my tongue is still asleep, so you'll have to kiss me until I'm sure I can feel again," she told me mischievously.

"Hahahaha, I guess I don't have any other choice."

"You're laughing more again, I expected you to be embarrassed."

I smiled at her, "yes... I think I'm tired of being sad," I said.

She also smiled, "I see... That's good, my guy is supposed to be an optimist," then she pulled me back to kiss her.

I don't know if Izzy's feelings will change in the future, or if that somehow affects her future demise... And that scares me, but as long as I can see her with my eyes, touch her with my hands and kiss her with my lips... I will do my best to make sure she has a reason to stay here.

-0-

POV. Third person

Chris is standing on the dock of shame, "And that concludes one of the most important campfire ceremonies in the history of this show, how will things play out now that Heather isn't around to be everyone's common enemy? Will Cody and Izzy fall for the curse of couples separated by competition? Where the hell did my walkie-talkies go?", He said, feeling his clothes, "Well, it doesn't matter, find out next week here on TOTAL... DRAMA...ISLAND!".
