After hearing the message from Kang. Most of them were left shaken and demoralized. Disjointed and disconnected. They couldn't properly work together. How could they save the world if they were too busy fighting each other? No, they couldn't end it here. The world depends on them.
"We can't stop now." said Spider-man. "There has to be a way to reach Kang." After pondering, Iron-Man speaks up.
"Well I think I can short them out, but we would need a lot of power to do that." said Iron-Man. Hearing that, sparked something within Doom.
"Perhaps science is not the answer." said Doom. Spider-man turns to him.
"So he might be weak towards magic." said Spider-man
"I can draw immense power from my throne, but I will need a powerful artifact to channel such power."
"Mjolnir can be of some use." said Thor as he got ready to go, but he was stopped by Black Panther.
"No let me go. Thor, you're needed more out here taking out more Hydra and slow down the countdown. I have such an artifact." He pulls back his cape and reveals a blade. But it was no ordinary blade. He unsheathes it and reveals the ebony blade. "Besides let me atone for my stubbornness."
"The Ebony blade?" said Doom.
"I'm only holding it until Dane Whitman requests it. Until then we can use it."
"Okay." said Spider-man. "That's our plan of attack. Doom and BP, go to Latveria and weaken Kang's defenses. We will take out as many Hydra soldiers as we can. It will give you time." Doom uses a spell to send both him and Black Panther to Latveria. The country has remained untouch from Kang's attack. Doombots were all ready and armed to attack if needed.
"I'm going to release my spell in order for this to work." said Doom.
"And once you do, Kang will find Latveria and attack."
"Precisely. Now be ready." Doom's eyes glows emerald green and fires a green energy up in the sky, releasing the barrier.
Kang's Tower
Red Skull was monitoring the attacks and saw an alert go off on the hologram of planet Earth. The red dot was flickering on the Latveria, alerting them that it is vulnerable.
"Doom has lowered the defenses. The Masters of Evil will go down and conquer Latveria."
"The Masters of Evil have disbanded." said Red Skull, "They thought Earth is theirs to conquer, not destroy." Kang just looks at Red Skull, anticipating a potential rebellion.
"And what of you Skull?"
"As much as I want Earth to be under Hydra's rule. I have my eyes on all of this universe."
"I see." said Kang. "I will give you an army for your invasion. Conquer Latveria and you will be rewarded handsomely." Red Skull bows down and departs, prepared to attack Latveria.
Latveria
The second the barrier went down, Kang's army proceeded with the invasion. Doom's army and Doombot's were on guard and fought back.
"We have to work quick." a squad of Kang's army and the missing Hawkeye and Black Widow bursts into the throne room, stopping the two.
"Don't bother." said Black Widow as her head twitches and eyes are rolled back . "Kang's fleet is on it's way, Latveria will belong to Kang." Without hesitation, Doom takes on Hawkeye and the army as Black Panther is left with Black Widow.
"Using Pawns, Kang?" Black Panther circles Black Widow.
"Pawns can achieve great victories. Especially when you're willing to sacrifice them."
Fight 1: Black Panther vs Black Widow
Natasha utilizes her agility and stealth, darting in and out of Black Panther attacks with quick, precise movements. Black Panther, however, remains unfazed, his focus unwavering as he anticipates Natasha's every move. Black Panther's strikes are swift and powerful, while Natasha counters with acrobatic flips and swift strikes. He then throws a vibranium daggers, she leaps over it and Black Panther pounces on her and clawed her face. She gets back up and Black Panther delivers a powerful kick that sends her back and bounces of a wall. Black Panther jumps off a wall and hits her a few times in the air, throws her down and lands on top of her. She pushes her back and the two clashed
"I will protect my people at any cost!" said Black Panther.
"Even siding with Steve again?" said Black Widow. Black Panther pushed her back and he slashed at her knocking her back. As she got back up, Black Panther pulls out the Ebony Blade and delivers a powerful swing with the blade, knocking her out.
"This king isn't easily as captured." He rushes over to Doom and finds only Doom and Hawkeye are left standing.
"Here comes the cavalry." said Hawkeye. "Fitting that you two die together. Humanity's last monarchs."
"What kind of ruler sacrifices his own people for Kang?" said Black Panther.
"My loyalty isn't to humanity, or to Kang. I'm only loyal to myself." said Red Skull through Hawkeye, "I'll wait until he exposes his weakness and kill him myself. With his technology I will be unstoppable." The attack was still going on Black Panther motions to Doom to let him defend his country.
"You're deluded Skull."
"How did it feel to lose your people Black Panther."
"I didn't lose my people. They were stolen from me
Fight 2: Black Panther vs Hawkeye
Black Panther dashes forward and strikes Hawkeye with the Ebony Blade. He then hits Hawkeye with a powerful side kick that sends him back and bounces of the wall. Black Panther jumps and punches him in the air. He quickly lands on the ground and hits Hawkeye with a five hit combo and ends the combo with a quick slash from his vibranium claws. Hawkeye fires an arrow, and Black Panther does a backflip to dodge the attack. He attack him again with the ebony blade a few times, then grabs him. He leaps on his shoulders and leaps high in the air and lands on top of him. Hawkeye gets back up and pushes him back
"Your arrows will do no harm Clint." Said Black Panther.
"Still gotta try." said Hawkeye. Black Panther pushed her back and he slashed at him knocking him back. Black Panther then does a backflip and lands on fours and goes invisible. Hawkeye couldn't see where Black Panther was, and continuously got hit by him over and over again. He then dashes forward and slashes Hawkeye. He spins around and sees Black Panther with his claws out slashing and slicing him over and over again.
"Predator hunts the weak. That is the law of the jungle!" Black Panther exclaims as he delivers a powerful strike with the ebony blade, knocking Hawkeye out.
"I will avenge Wakanda." There was a loud thud at the doors of the throne room. The thud gets louder and louder. Soon the doors come flying off and enters Nova. He looked different. His eyes were glowing it's usual colors, and behind him rushed in more Hydra soldiers. Black Panther wasted little time on the Hydra soldiers, leaving Doom to take on Nova.
"Scouring the memories of this young one, he was able to best you in combat." said Red Skull through Nova.
"Hmph. I, Doom looked down on him, as well as the rest of the Avengers. His abilities now has my full attention."
Fight 3: Dr. Doom vs. Nova
Doom moved forward hit Nova up close with a large spark and follows up with a energy blast from his gauntlets. Doom picks up a medieval suit of armor and throws it at Nova and it deals a decent amount of damage. He dashes forward and crosses his arms to fire laser beams out of his fingers. He then grabs hold of Nova's neck, slams him to the ground and sends electric waves all hitting him. He then hits Nova a few times and kicks him in the air. He leaps up and hits him a few more times and fires a energy beam from his gun, knocking Nova down. Nova gets up and pushes him back a little bit and the two clashed.
"Nova force full power!" said Nova.
"Your power is beneath me." Doom pushes Nova back and back hands Nova. Doom leaps into the air and does his footdive on to Nova's head, he then summoned pebbles that got larger, surrounding Doom, shielding him from Nova's attack. Doom launches them and it hits Nova, knocking him out.
"Child's play." Doom and Black Panther fought off more Hydra soldiers, and as the numbers dwindled, the fallen soldiers got back up.
"I don't understand. Why are they this fierce over the destruction of this reality?" asked Black Panther. Foot steps were heard and through the empty halls entered the Red Skull.
"Anyone can do anything, with enough persuasion." His eyes glow yellow as the Hydra soldiers eyes glows as well. "Gotta thank Kang for allowing me to harness the full power of the mind stone!"Black Panther went after the soldiers as Doom focused on Red Skull. "Victor you were once a fine contributor to the Masters of Evil. It is not too late to return. Just kneel."
"You expect me to kneel?" Doom gets into his stance, "Doom does not kneel."
Fight 4: Dr. Doom vs. Red Skull
Doctor Doom and Red Skull launch themselves into battle, their movements swift and precise as they exchange blows. Each strike reverberates through the castle halls, echoing the clash of titans engaged in a struggle for supremacy. Red Skull gets the upper hand by firing an enhanced Hydra gun and hits Doom three times. Red Skull summons a Hydra soldier to attack Doom with a huge electric club to his legs. He then calls another Hydra soldier and fires a straight energy beam. Doom leaps up to dodge the next attack, but Red Skull summons another Hydra soldier and fires a missile into the air knocking him down. Red Skull then summons his army to attack Doom with their wide array of arsenals to attack Doom. He then prepares a giant cannon and fires it at Doom. Doom gets back up and pushes him back slightly.
"Your existence is an abomination!" exclaimed Doom.
"I am perfection!" replied Red Skull. Doom pushes him back and back hands Red Skull. Doom summons his own army of Doombots and they hover around Doom. As Red Skull attacks, Doom used his Doombot to create a shield to protect him. He then uses his other Doombot to fire from the air, hitting Red Skull. He then uses the last Doombot to fly down and tackle Red Skull. Doom wanted to end this fight now. Doom summons a molecular transport that keeps Red Skull in place. The energy within it electrocutes Red Skull, the Doombots then continuously attack Red Skull, and then Doom the transporter lifts high into the sky and with one snap of the fingers from Doom, the transporter explodes and knocks Red Skull out.
"Now Skull. Your punishment." Doom walks towards the fallen Red Skull alongside with Black Panther as he finishes the rest of the Hydra Soldiers. Black Panther pulls out the Ebony Blade and the words "Kill him" rushed into his head over and over and over again. It was becoming too much for him to overcome.
"You can't do it." taunted Red Skull. "Too bad. You may have stopped me, but I felt Kang's true power. This world is doomed." The thoughts raced more and more inside of Black Panther's head.
"The people of Wakanda demand justice." With one quick thrust Black Panther thrusts the Ebony Blade and narrowly misses Red Skull. "You will face your trial in front of the world and pay for crimes." Doom on the other hand wasn't so merciful.
"You brought bloodshed and death into Latveria. Something I cannot overlook." Doom materialized a blade and had his Doombots hold Black Panther back and stabs Red Skull in the heart. Ending the life of a tyrant.
Outside Hawkeye and Black Widow began to wake up. Free from Kang's control with the death of Red Skull. The two realized what happened and embraced each other.
"How's your head?" asked Black Widow.
"Empty." Hawkeye said with a smile.
"So not much has changed." the two laughed. But their moment was cut short as Black Panther ran right past them.
"Clint, Natasha stand clear." He gets into position and gets the Ebony blade out. Doom fires a powerful magic spell at Black Panther. The Ebony blade absorbs the magic and Black Panther redirects it into the sky, aiming for Kang's location.
Back in New York, Spider-man and Bucky wait patiently for Tony to return with the jammer to stop Kang's invasion. Tony flies down and hands him the device.
"Here web-head. This should do the trick. But you have to be in arms reach of Kang." said Iron-man.
"Of course I have to be. For once I wish I can just do it safely from a distance." joked Spider-man. From a distance he notices a giant magic beam heading straight towards Kang's Tower. It collides with them and the whole building shook.
"The shields are down." said Iron-man.
"Bucky you're with me. Tony, join the others to take out the rest of Hydra." Spider-man fires a web-line and swings off just as Bucky rides his motorcycle. They made their way to the Tower, facing minimal resistance. This made them both uneasy. Using the device the two make their way towards Kang's quarters. "The signal is getting stronger." They enter into the room and they found multiple orbs. Each orb holding cities from across different timelines.
"We have to help them. There has to be a way." said Bucky.
"I don't think we can." before they can continue, Spider-man's spider-senses goes off but he wasn't fast enough to not get caught by multiple energy vines. Soon Kang and his own personal guards enter.
"Bucky Barnes. Man out of time. Fitting that he tries to fight against the master of time. I have great respect for what you have done with Steve Rogers, for that I'll spare you and you can join everyone in Brooklyn in my private collection." Bucky gets dragged out and sent to another area, leaving Kang with Spider-man. "You on the other hand failed at stopping me at every aspect. You are of no interest to me." He turns his back to Spider-man. "Dispose of him." He then vanishes leaving Spider-man who was still stuck to face Kang's personal guards. The guards got closer as Spider-man struggled to break free, but he was unsuccessful, all he could do is hope that the Avengers will find a way to stop Kang. Next thing he saw was a familiar red white and blue shield come flying in knocking the guards. Running in was Captain America who grabbed his shield and took out the rest of the guards and freed Spider-man.
"You really know how to make an entrance Steve." said Spider-man.
"Where's Bucky?" asked Captain America.
"Captured, somewhere in the Tower." Captain America starts to feel a bit troubled, he just reunited with his best friend, and was not about to lose him again. "We'll find him, but right now we only have twenty minutes before Kang resets the timeline."
"Why aren't the others here?"
"They are taking out as many Hydra Soldiers as possible. In case we don't pull through."
"We will." Steve offers a hand to Spider-man, "We...The Avengers always have." Spider-man gingerly takes his hand and gets up, still not sure if he could fully trust Captain America.
"Avengers..." said Captain America, as he waited for Spider-man to reply, sensing that he always wanted to say it.
"Assemble."
