Padme waited as she was about to return to Coruscant. One of her handmaidens was going to fly her ship while she flew an N-1 starfighter. "Wait! "She called to her handmaiden. "I have an idea. When we land run out of the ship as fast as possible. "Padme said. "Yes. "The handmaiden said. They left for Coruscant. When the ships landed the decoy ran as fast as she could from the ship. She jumped just as the ship started to explode. They were safe.
Anakin and Obi-Wan were sent to guard Padme. "Padme! It's me, Anakin. "Anakin shouted. "Little Ani you have grown. "Padme replied. "And so have you only more beautiful. "Anakin replied. They went to see the Jedi Council. Anakin was to escort Padme back to Naboo as before. Padme had Senator Binks speak against the military creation act. They returned to Naboo and started falling in love again. They rolled around in the field and kissed again. "Anakin, we need to hurry! "Padme shouted. They ran into the hanger and took off in Padme's silver ship. She headed for Tatooine. They landed at the Lars Homestead. Cliegg Lards met them. "Where is Shmi Skywalker? "Padme asked. "She was gathering mushrooms off the moisture vaporators when she was kidnapped by tuskin raiders. They ran off in that direction. "Cliegg said. 'We searched for her, and I lost my legs in the process. "Cliegg said. "Threepio is that you? "Anakin asked the droid. "The maker! "C3P0 replied. "Could we barrow C3P0?" Padme asked? "Sure. He is Anakin's droid. "Cliegg replied.
Anakin and Padme flew in her ship across the dune sea. They saw Sandcrawlers parked and banthas roaming the desert. They reached the tuskin village and landed. They found Shmi tied up and started to free her. Some Tuskins came holding spears. "Threepio ask them why they kidnapped this woman? "Padme asked. Threepio spoke in the Tuskin's language asking why they kidnapped Shmi The leader held up his hand to tell the others to wait. C3P0 turned to Padme. "They were guided by a man with a white beard and red lightsaber to her. They were promised a big reward for kidnapping her." Threepio said. "Will they exchange her for gold truguts? "Padme asked. Threepio spoke to the sandpeople. "They will take the offer. "Threepio said. Padme gave them 10 gold truguts and they took Shmi into their ship. The Sandpeople took the truguts and the others returned to the Lars Homestead. Anakin gave his mother water and food on the way. "Mother you are alright now. "Anakin said. "They came out of nowhere. I tried to run but that man somehow held me in place. "Shmi said.
Cliegg greeted Shmi after she left the ship. Anakin and Padme followed behind her with Threepio. "Your kidnapping was no accident. A Sith Lord named Sidious arranged it to make Anakin turn to the dark side? "Padme warned. "Why my Ani? What did he do to anger that Sith Lord? "Shmi asked. "Nothing. Anakin is believed to be the chosen one. The person who will bring balance to the force. His Midi chlorian count is the highest of any force sensitive. Palpatine wants to add his power to his own. 'I tracked Jango Fett to Genonosis. Relay this to the jedi temple. I'm …" Obi-Wan was cut off. Anakin transmitted the message to the temple. "Where are you Anakin? "Mace asked. "On Tatooine. "Anakin replied. "Stay there. We will deal with Count Dooku. "Mace replied. "We are staying here. "Anakin said. Padme thought about staying put and staying out of the battle of Geonosis. She decided to go again, even remembering what happened to her the last time. Padme grabbed the controls and flew into space.
When they got to Geonosis they went through the droid factory like before and were captured. They were being taken to the arena again. They kissed again as they fell in love with each other. Three creatures were brought into the area. Padme climbed up her pole and started picking the lock on her handcuffs. She remembered being clawed by the creature approaching her for the first time. She had claw marks in her back and lost part of her shirt and sleeve. Padme thought about what do now. Jump out the creature's way or duck. She ducked just as she unlocked the second cuff. The creature pulled her shirt apart leaving her topless. Anakin used another creature to break his chain and free Obi-Wan. "Stop starring Anakin. "Obi-Wan shouted. "I could say the same thing to you. "Anakin replied. Anakin jumped on one creature. Mace Windu came up behind Dooku and threatened him. Dooku called in battle droids and super battle droids. Anakin took out several droids with the creature and tossed a blaster up to Padme. Padme jumped down onto the back of the creature Anakin was riding. She rode with Anakin. They jumped off as Republic Gunships full of clones landed. When they boarded the gunship Padme got between Anakin and Obi-Wan. When the ship shook Padme started to fall out. She grabbed Obi-Wan's leg pulling him out with her. She landed on him with her breasts in his face. "Get those things out of my eyes!" Obi-Wan shouted. Padme got up and looked at him. She saw the gunship flying away. "Now you know what it feels like to be left behind. I figure Anakin is going to do his duty and take on Count Dooku by himself. "Padme said. They saw the gunship circle around and came back towards them. It landed nearby and another gunship landed as well. Clone troopers approached the pair. "Here senator I have another shirt for you. "A Clone Troope said. Padme took the white shirt and put it on and replaced the metal rings on her arms. "It was fun while it lasted. "Padme said. They flew on to Count Dooku's lair and got off the gunship shortly before it was shot down.
"This is no place for a senator. "Obi-Wan said to Padme. "You are not stopping me. I am coming. "Padme replied. They entered the lair of Count Dooku. He was waiting for them. "I see Senator Amidala isn't giving us anymore fan service. "Dooku said. "Anakin you go in on the left and I will go in on the right. "Obi-Wan said. They moved in on each side of Dooku. He immediately blocked Obi-Wan's blow and attacked Anakin. Anakin blocked Dooku's blows. Dooku forced Anakin back as he swung his lightsaber at Anakin. Padme fired on Dooku, who blocked the shot and force pushed her down. Anakin ran to her side as Dooku tried to kill her with his lightsaber. Anakin blocked him and Padme got up and stood by Anakin's side as he fought Dooku. Anakin swung at Dooku and blocked his strikes. Padme fired her blaster and Dooku kept deflecting her shots. Anakin forced Dooku back when he nearly hit Dooku's arm. Padme landed a shot on Dooku. Dooku was wounded slightly. He couldn't beat Anakin and Padme's defenses. Yoda saw them fighting as he approached. Dooku held part of a stone column over Obi-Wan daring Anakin to attack. Anakin and Padme stood there frozen Anakin didn't want to lose Obi-Wan. Anakin pushed the column away as Dooku turned his attention towards Yoda. "Master Yoda. "Count Dooku said. "Old padawan I still have things to teach you. "Yoda replied.
Count Dooku shot force lightning at Yoda who caught it and threw it back. They did that several times. Then Dooku ignited his lightsaber and attacked Yoda who blocked with his own lightsaber. Yoda flipped over Dooku and swung again and again at him. Dooku got tired and held a piece of another column over Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Padme. When Yoda grabs it with the force, Dooku escapes. Yoda lowers the column to the ground. "He got away again. "Padme groaned. "Master you should have seen it. Dooku couldn't beat Anakin and Padme when they fought him together. "Obi-Wan "Saw them I did. Strong they are together. "Yoda replied. "Take senator Amidala back to Naboo you will Anakin. "Yoda said. "Wait! He needs to take the trials! "Padme shouted. "Anakin isn't ready. "Obo-Wan replied. "Shut up arrogant jerk. Stop holding him back or do you want him to lead clones into the temple and kill younglings? "Padme asked. "The only thing you need to fear is fear itself. Stop looking down on Anakin like he is going to destroy your Jedi Order. That won't happen if start following the force and not the code. "Padme said. Yoda nodded his head and then raised it. "Wrong you are Obi-Wan. The trials Anakin will face. Fear him we must not. "Yoda replied. Anakin took the trials and passed.
On Naboo Anakin and Padme were married and Obi-Wan agreed to be Anakin's best man.
