When YGGDRASIL closed is servers, the famous guild of Ainz Ooal Gown is sent to another world (as the original story suggested). Little did they know, they are now in the Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken universe. What will happen in the future?

Under mysterious circumstances, the shutdown of Yggdrasil somehow transported Momonga to a world of swords and sorcery that superseded the hard-coded limitations of virtual reality. Cautiously planning and ensuring his survival was vital, but a particular slime's casual approach to things could not help but make the Overlord reminisce about Ainz Ooal Gown's glory days.

With the end of DMMO-RPG Yggdrasil approaching, Momonga decided to spend the last moments of the game reminiscing with one of his guildmates, a player with a slime as their race; Rimuru Tempest. After the shutdown, however, both of them instead find themselves within a completely new world as both they and Nazarick had been transferred to it.

Suzuki Satoru as Momonga finds himself alone in a strange cavern after the end of YGGDRASIL, meeting and accompanying a slime by the name of Rimuru Tempest, he ventures out into the world to spread the name of Ainz Ooal Gown, not only in hopes of finding his guildmates, but also his creation Pandora's Actor. But how will an Overlord of a different world change the future?

If one were to look at the dreadful Overlord and the cute slime working together, they would be flabbergasted. But behind their drastically different appearances was a strong bond between the two, as they had found solace in each others' pasts.
