(298 AC - Dothraki Sea)

The grueling journey from Meereen to Pentos lasted a daunting three months, leaving Anakin and his 6,000 Unsullied exhausted. He tirelessly marched them day and night, pushing onward through the Dothraki Sea, also known as the Great Grass Sea.

Located in the interior of Essos, this vast expanse of green plains and steppes was home to the nomadic Dothraki people.

The Dothraki, known for their skilled horseback riding and fearsome reputation, regularly migrated in large numbers known as Khalasars. These hordes, sometimes containing thousands of riders, would cross the sea to plunder nearby lands.

The only city in this vast landscape was Vaes Dothrak, located on the northeastern edge. To the south lay Slaver's Bay and the menacing Red Waste, a desert that even the Dothraki feared to cross.

Although interrupted by mountains and forests, the Dothraki would still occasionally raid cities like Meereen and Yunkai for riches and slaves. To the west, the Dothraki Sea bordered the Forest of Qohor, separating it from the Free Cities. However, this forest was not a significant obstacle for the Dothraki, who also frequently threatened the Free Cities with raids or demanded tribute.

Although the Dothraki Sea was known for its dangers, it was not the primary concern for Anakin, Grey-Worm and the Unsullied on this journey.

The Dothraki were more preoccupied with the presence of the Unsullied army. The Unsullied had a notorious reputation among the Dothraki, as only 3,000 of them were able to withstand and repel a massive horde of Dothraki attackers while protecting the city of Qohor.

This horde could consist of anywhere from 40 to 100,000 fighters - an impressive display of strength and power, which the Dothraki value highly. Those who have been conquered or enslaved are seen as insignificant and unworthy in the eyes of the Dothraki. However, there is one exception - the exceptional Unsullied warrior-eunuch army.

Any delays on their journey were caused by Anakin's impulsive decision to intervene when he saw multiple Dothraki raids destroying villages and disrupting peaceful communities.

As he learned more about the Dothraki culture and the enslavement of their captives, his determination to intervene intensified. However, on a positive note, the increase in raids signaled that they were getting closer to their destination - Qohor.

(298 AC - Qohor)

Located in western Essos, Qohor is one of the nine Free Cities and is also known as the City of Sorcerers. It is situated at the easternmost point and is surrounded by Norvos to the northwest and Volantis to the far south. The city is situated on the banks of the Qhoyne River, which is a tributary of the Rhoyne, and is on the western edge of the Forest of Qohor. This strategic location has earned Qohor the reputation of being a gateway to the east.

The city is protected by strong stone walls and is considered the most exotic among the Free Cities. This is due to its position as the western end of the overland trade networks that extend all the way to Yi-Ti, although this connection is often indirect.

With its reputation for practicing dark arts such as divination, blood magic, and necromancy, Qohor has gained a certain amount of notoriety. The Qohorik people worship a dark god, the Black Goat of Qohor, and make daily blood sacrifices to appease their deity. The sacrifices usually consist of calves, bullocks, and horses on regular days, but on holy days, condemned criminals are offered instead. In dire circumstances, the nobles of the city are even willing to sacrifice their own children, hoping that their god will defend them.

The city is also home to devotees of the Lord of Light. Aside from their faith and dark magic, the Qohorik are also known for their skilled hunters, foresters, and artisans.

The city has a small City-Watch that maintains order, but ever since the Three Thousand of Qohor, the city's defense has been entrusted to the Unsullied from Astapor. Each Unsullied carries a spear adorned with a braid of human hair. Sometimes, Qohor also hires free companies to bolster their defense. The city is also known to offer gifts to Dothraki Khals in order to avoid conflict with their Khalasars.

Qohor, strategically located, serves as the gateway to the Dothraki Sea and beyond. Trade caravans traveling to and from Vaes Dothrak rely on Qohor for supplies before venturing towards the Dothraki plains. Overland merchants from Yi-Ti also pass through Qohor, journeying west over the Bone Mountains to Vaes Dothrak, where they engage in trade with merchants from the Free Cities. Although the overland trade routes can be arduous and risky, merchants prefer them over the sea routes that pass through Qarth's straits to avoid the exorbitant taxes imposed by the city on shipping. The trade industry has made Qohor one of the wealthiest cities of the Free Cities, but it used to be even more prosperous before the fall of the Kingdom of Sarnor.

The Forest of Qohor is the primary source of wealth for the city, with timber being shipped down the Qhoyne river to various cities including Dagger Lake, Selhorys, Valysar, Volon Therys, and Volantis. The forest also holds many valuable goods such as tapestries, which, though cheaper, are comparable to those from Myr. The city's markets also boast exquisite wooden carvings.

The Qohorik forges are renowned for their exceptional craftsmanship, with their armor considered superior to that made in Westeros. They are also skilled in infusing deep colors into metal, producing beautiful results. Furthermore, the Qohorik are the only ones in the world who possess the knowledge to rework Valyrian steel, which they guard closely. According to Maester Pol, this process involves blood sacrifices.

During their journey across the Dothraki Sea, Anakin and his troops faced numerous challenges. Despite losing nearly 20 of the Unsullied warriors, their numbers were quickly replenished by new followers who were drawn to their mission of saving ravaged villages and freeing enslaved people.

Anakin's force played a crucial role in intervening in Dothraki raids, displaying both their compassion and might. Witnessing Anakin's extraordinary abilities, many nomads who lost their homes chose to join his cause, while others were overcome with admiration and became his devoted followers.

After a long and arduous voyage, they finally arrived in Qohor, a city located between the Narrow Sea and the Dothraki-controlled grasslands. From Qohor, it would only take a few weeks to reach their final destination, Pentos.

As they entered the city alongside the remaining Unsullied warriors, they were warmly welcomed and extended an invitation to stay for an extended period before continuing their journey. The people of Qohor held the Unsullied in high esteem, especially after witnessing their brave defense against a relentless Dothraki attack on their city.

Accompanied by a few Unsullied guards, Anakin was received by King Orea Talordis, who graciously invited him to stay. To celebrate the arrival of the King of Meereen, a magnificent feast was held, marking a milestone in their voyage.

During the festivities, Anakin is engrossed in conversation with King Orea Talordis. The King inquires about Anakin's presence in the North, to which Anakin responds coldly that he has business in Pentos. Talordis mentions that there had been news of a Dothraki Khalasar heading towards Pentos, passing the Flatlands, which catches Anakin's attention.

The Flatlands, located on the east, north, and south of Pentos, is a vital source of sustenance for the city, with many affluent inhabitants owning properties there.

Anakin politely asks Talordis if he knows the reason for the Khalasar's movement, to which Talordis dismissively states that the Dothraki are only known for their savagery. Anakin silently agrees, having experienced the ferocity of the Dothraki during his travels through the Dothraki Sea. With their belief in the strongest prevailing, they pose a significant threat.

Anakin comes to the realization that the army he had heard the Red Priestess speak of, which he would encounter in Pentos, could possibly be the Dothraki.

(298 AC - Pentos)

Pentos is a thriving center for trade, outshining even Slaver's Bay's Astapor in terms of population. Positioned as one of the Free Cities closest to King's Landing in Westeros, it holds a significant position as one of the westernmost cities.

Encompassed by the Flatlands and Velvet Hills to the east and situated along the narrow sea, Pentos is renowned for its intimidating walls. Despite this, it is considered the most vulnerable of the Free Cities.

The city showcases numerous square brick towers and is predominantly adorned with tiled roofs. Enclosed within these walls are opulent mansions, known as manses, owned by the city's affluent residents. Notably, a grand red temple resides in Pentos, where the renowned red priests chant and light their signature night fires. Those wishing to travel from Pentos to the Rhoyne can venture through the Sunrise Gate.

Daenerys Targaryen stood on the balcony of their lodgings in Pentos, taking in the view of the crystal-clear bay and the Narrow Sea beyond.

At only 17 years of age, the most striking characteristic of this young woman is her magnificent, long hair that gleams in a silvery, blonde hue. This particular trait serves as her trademark, easily setting her apart from others. Her gorgeous locks are often styled in loose, flowing waves or intricate braids, a clear reflection of her elite ancestry and connection to House Targaryen. Deep violet eyes, filled with emotion and purpose, are another defining feature of hers, conveying both determination and compassion, with the occasional hint of fierceness. Her complexion is light, emitting a delicate and ethereal aura. Her facial features are angelic, with a heart-shaped face, prominent cheekbones, and a slender jawline. Standing at a petite height of 5'2", she possesses a graceful and delicate build, embodying a unique combination of fragility and resilience.

Daenerys' mind was consumed with thoughts of her brother, Viserys. It had been almost a year since they sought refuge with the wealthy Magister Illyrio Mopatis, a loyal supporter of their house.

Daenerys had spent countless hours trying to persuade Viserys to venture to Meereen, but he remained stubbornly resistant. Even news of their nephew, Anakin Targaryen, being crowned king didn't sway him.

Viserys dismissed the idea of a Targaryen conquering a city, amassing an army, and freeing slaves, opting instead to march on King's Landing and overthrow the traitor on the Iron Throne. Ever since something had changed in Viserys. He had become desperate, foulmouthed, and even violent at times.

Daenerys couldn't help but wonder if he felt more pressure to claim the throne since he believed that their nephew was gone. And it was this thought that had landed them in their current predicament.

"Daenerys!" The sound of her brother's voice reverberates through the opulent bath chamber. Daenerys re-enters from the balcony and sees Viserys striding in with a white gown in hand.

The shoulder-length silver-blonde hair of Viserys Targaryen was a well-known trait among the Targaryen bloodline, and he took great pride in keeping it sleek and polished. His piercing, violet eyes were a clear reflection of his personality - one that exuded arrogance, entitlement, and a hidden darkness underneath a mask of charm. Despite his height of approximately 5'10", Viserys appeared slender and delicate, hinting at a reliance on his cunning and manipulative nature rather than brute force.

"Daenerys! There's our bride to be! Look – a gift from Illyrio," he exclaims, beaming with delight as he presents her with the beautiful garment gifted by Illyrio. "Touch it. Come on. Feel the fabric. Mmmm. Isn't he a gracious host?" Viserys boasts, mentioning the gift's origin.

"We've been his guests for over a year and he's never asked us for anything," Daenerys remarks, perplexed by Illyrio's continued hospitality.

"Illyrio is no fool. He knows I won't forget my friends when I come into my throne. You still slouch. Let me see," Viserys demands as he holds up the gown, assessing its fit. "I need you to be perfect today. Can you do that for me?" he menacingly asks.

Daenerys objects, questioning why they couldn't have visited Meereen before carrying out their plan to marry her off in exchange for an army. She remains convinced that this strategy is foolish.

"Careful sister. You don't want to wake the dragon, do you?" Viserys snaps, struggling to contain his anger at the mention of his nephew. He's convinced that Anakin is no longer alive and that he is the last remaining heir to the Targaryen dynasty. This notion has been slowly driving him mad. When he learned of a Targaryen ruler in Meereen who's fighting for the liberation of slaves and amassing an army, he adamantly refused to believe that this man could be who he claims to be.

"No," Daenerys responds, her voice laced with defeat.

Upon learning of the powerful Dothraki Khalasar, Anakin's stay in Qohor was abruptly shortened to just a few days. Eager to continue their journey, the Unsullied quickly recovered and resumed their travels through the Flatlands.

After the constant battles in the Dothraki Sea, the weeks-long voyage through the uneventful land was dull in comparison. There were no dangerous bandits or kidnapped people to slow them down. The few people they encountered were too intimidated by the formidable Unsullied to pose any threat.

Upon reaching Pentos, Anakin wasted no time in preparing to face the Dothraki army, which they could see gathered outside the city gates, for some reason.

Instead of acting impulsively, he devised a plan. Two Unsullied soldiers, Ash-Insect and Menial-Snail, were sent undercover to abduct a Dothraki from their camp and bring him back for interrogation.

Anakin's persistence paid off when the Dothraki captive eventually revealed the reason for their presence, though not without putting up a fight.

Even after a harsh beating from Ash-Insect, the captive remained unyielding. Inspired by his encounter with Kinvara and his own growing power, Anakin decided to take a different approach. Utilizing the force, he delved into the prisoner's mind and forcefully extracted the visions he sought.

The captive screamed in agony as the force granted Anakin the ability to extract information, regardless of an individual's strength. The Unsullied guards watched with both fascination and unease as they speculated on the type of sorcery their king was employing.

In a matter of moments, Anakin pieced together the situation at hand. Viserys is bartering Daenerys for the loyalty of a Dothraki force.

Frustrated and torn, he couldn't determine what was more maddening - the fact that Daenerys was being used as a bargaining chip, or that Viserys was foolish enough to believe he could claim the Iron Throne like this. Anakin shook his head, thinking how naive his uncle must have been to think the Dothraki would hand over an army without a display of strength.

As he mulled over the situation, his mind kept returning to his uncle, but he quickly pushed those thoughts aside to focus on devising a plan to rescue his family. Remembering the memories he had extracted, Anakin realized that Daenerys showed little interest in marrying the Dothraki Khal.

He decided to lead a small force of 1,000 soldiers to seek an audience with this 'Khal Drogo' and negotiate for her release. Meanwhile, the remaining 5,000 Unsullied would surround the Dothraki settlement.

Anakin also devises a tactic using a red flare, which he had plainly named the 'flare gun', to distract the Dothraki while his men prepared for combat. He had created this invention with the resources they had gathered on their journey and was currently working on more gadgets that would prove useful in their battles. The Unsullied had already started incorporating the flare gun into their tactics, making it a valuable tool on their trek across the Dothraki Sea. Anakin made sure his men were informed about the signal - a red flare in the sky - and its purpose, to be ready for action.

As they approach the encampment, Anakin's powerful force is quickly met by the formidable Dothraki guards.

Speaking fluent Dothraki, he requests an audience with the great Khal Drogo, making his intentions clear.

As they wait in the barren landscape in front of a wall of Dothraki, the sound of Khal Drogo's arrival fills the air. When he emerges from the wall, he takes in the sight of Khal Drogo, Viserys, Daenerys, a magister from Pentos, and the unfamiliar knight, Ser Jorah Mormont. Anakin immediately recognizes Ser Jorah as a knight from Westeros, stirring memories of Ser Willem Darry within him.

Jorah Mormont is a seasoned warrior, his short dark hair streaked with gray symbolizing his maturity and journey. Standing tall at 6'1", he boasts a muscular and lean frame. His deep brown eyes often reveal wisdom and inner turmoil. His face is weathered and strong, with defined features that speak of his years of battle and struggle. Adding to his rugged appearance is a beard.

The warlord demands to know who he is and why he is there. In Dothraki, Anakin introduces himself to Khal Drogo and explains why he has come.

"I thought family was supposed to be invited to weddings? I am Anakin of House Targaryen, the King of Meereen," proclaims Anakin.

Unable to contain himself any longer, Viserys strides up behind Khal Drogo approaching Anakin. "So it's true. You are alive," Viserys exclaimed in disbelief, his eyes fixed on Anakin and his army. "Where have you-" but before Viserys can finish his sentence Anakin shuts him down by gesturing with a pointed finger and hushing him. He was clearly not pleased with his uncle at the moment.

Anakin explained to the warlord that, as per his family's custom, he as the household leader, and not Viserys, was responsible for arranging marriages for their children and unmarried relatives. He made it clear that Viserys did not have the authority to offer Daenerys to him.

Despite having heard tales of Anakin's prowess and extraordinary abilities as a skilled warrior and conqueror, Khal Drogo was not one to submit easily. He was renowned for his own strength and bravery, having shown himself to be a formidable opponent in numerous battles.

"You dare to claim my Khaleesi as your own?!" Drogo demanded of Anakin.

But the Targaryen was resolute in his response, "No, I mean to tell you she was never your Khaleesi to begin with. Nor does she want to be," turning his back on the Dothraki leader to face Daenerys. Towering over her petite frame, Anakin placed a gentle hand on her shoulder and asked, "Do you truly want this, princess?"

At the mention of the deal struck by her brother, Daenerys was torn. Rarely had she been given a choice in her own fate. Her answer was barely audible as she whispered, "no."

Anakin cast a smug look at Drogo, confirming what he had suspected all along.

As the tension rose, Drogo made a defiant move towards Anakin, grasping on to Daenerys and refusing to let go. Anakin seethed with anger at this provocation but maintained a steely composure, keeping his emotions in check.

Drogo's gaze then turned to Illyrio, who had orchestrated this entire scheme. But the magister avoided his stare, uncomfortable with how things had escalated.

Behind Anakin, the Unsullied stood at attention, their spears pointed forward. The Dothraki, recognizing their strength and skill, prepared for a battle even without their horses. The two sides were evenly matched, and the outcome would surely result in the loss of many lives.

Drogo weighed his options, knowing that releasing Daenerys would be seen as weakness, while a fight would lead to more bloodshed. In a bold move, Drogo challenged the Targaryen to a one-on-one duel. But Anakin was not taken aback, having learned the customs of the Dothraki during their journey.

During the unfolding of events, Viserys, Daenerys, and Ser Jorah are completely unaware of the situation until Illyrio enlightens them. As they receive the information, the Dothraki gather to encircle them, creating a small fighting pit.

They watch as Khal Drogo receives his two arakhs and prepares for an impending battle. These weapons are commonly used by Dothraki fighters and have a unique shape resembling a crescent moon, with a curved blade measuring approximately two and a half feet. The handle is thick and nearly the same length, allowing for both sword and scythe functions. While not ideal against armor, the arakh allows for exceptional wrist dexterity and movement.

After hearing it from Illyrio, Ser Jorah is amazed to discover that all the rumors he has heard about Anakin are, in fact, true. Additionally, he is even more impressed by Anakin's willingness to engage in a duel with Khal Drogo in order to secure Daenerys' freedom. He knows that regardless of what happens, he must inform Lord Varys of the unfolding events.

Ser Jorah is astonished to hear from Illyrio that all the rumors he has heard about Anakin are, in fact, true. He's even more impressed by Anakin's willingness to engage in a duel with Khal Drogo in order to secure Daenerys' freedom. He ponders in the depths of his subconscious if it is prudent to disclose the unfolding events to Lord Varys.

Viserys disagrees, suggesting that Anakin should simply agree to the marriage and incorporate the Dothraki into his army.

As Anakin removes his hooded cloak and hands it to Grey-Worm, Daenerys approaches him, noticing his tattered gray chest armor and accompanying shoulder plates.

"You don't have to do this. I'll marry him, you can have an arm-" before she can finish, Anakin draws his sword, featuring a golden grip, a small diamond-shaped pommel, and no crossguard. He points the sword at her, pausing to admire her beauty.

"Wow. Aren't you an angel," Anakin remarks, taken aback by her appearance. Even though it had been years since he last saw Daenerys and he was unsure of how she looked now, he can't shake the nagging feeling that he had seen her face before, in a dream. He openly admits that she is the most beautiful woman he's ever seen, even surpassing the Red Priestess.

Before Anakin approaches Khal Drogo amidst the Dothraki, he reassures, "Honestly, this is exactly how I saw my day going. So, don't you worry about me."

As the sun sets, Daenerys returns to stand beside Ser Jorah and her brother. The two warriors stand at the forefront, with an audience gathered around them.

Jorah couldn't help but be intrigued by Anakin's fighting abilities, having never seen them in action before. However, he was all too familiar with Khal Drogo's reputation as a deadly warrior, his list of victims a constant reminder of his skill.

Anakin takes the initiative and swipes at Khal Drogo with his sword, only to have it expertly blocked by the Khal's arakh.

Surprisingly, instead of continuing the fight, Drogo turns his back and begins speaking. "The rain will fall on your rotting skin…Until nothing is left of you but bones!" The Dothraki crowd erupts with excitement at Drogo's taunt.

Anakin responds with a smirk, "Poetic one aren't you," As Drogo charges towards him, his arakhs slicing through the air, Anakin remains calm and easily parries any attacks that come his way.

The two warriors move gracefully, each one showcasing their unique skills and techniques. Anakin's style is full of aggressive attacks followed by defensive maneuvers before launching a counterstrike. On the other hand, Khal Drogo is a master of combat, using a strategic selection of weapons and techniques with the intention of delivering a fatal blow.

Anakin expertly engages in a blade-lock with each of Drogo's arakhs, giving him the opportunity to strike the Khal's face with a powerful backhand. The first blow lands and an enraged Drogo retaliates by slicing through the sand, blinding Anakin with a spray of grains.

"The fuck!" Anakin shouts in frustration as he tries to clear his vision, all the while aware of Drogo's presence nearby. As he regains his vision, Anakin narrowly avoids another attack that slices across the side of his right eye.

Backpedaling with a wince, Anakin gingerly presses his fingertips against the gash on his face only to realize his gloved hand is now stained with blood. The sensation triggers a distant memory - the last time he had been in pain like this was during the relentless beatings from his cruel master, and after that, in the brutal battles of Meereen's fighting pits. Unexpectedly, Khal Drogo proved to be a formidable opponent.

The sight of Anakin's bleeding face causes the Targaryen siblings and Ser Jorah to wince, each showing their own reaction.

Despite his recent injury, Ser Jorah observes that the Targaryen is holding his own in the battle. On numerous occasions, Jorah has noticed a chance for Anakin to deal a fatal strike, yet he always refrained, leaving him to question if he was just toying with Khal Drogo.

Daenerys is visibly worried about her nephew's well-being, knowing that her refusal to marry Drogo could lead to his death. In contrast, Viserys is impatiently waiting to speak with his nephew about his ambitions for the Iron Throne.

The crowd watches in shock as Anakin makes the final move, rolling forward to dodge the Khal's attacks before thrusting his blade into Drogo's chest.

As the Khal falls to his knees, Anakin pulls out the blade and stands over him. He meets Ser Jorah's gaze, knowing what will happen next. The Dothraki only understand one language: strength.

With determination, Anakin heads towards Drogo's arakh, intending to use it to end the Khal's life. But as he bends down to retrieve the weapon, Drogo cries out loudly and stabs a hidden dagger into Anakin's lower abdomen. Acting swiftly, Anakin beheads Khal Drogo with a powerful blow of the arakh, causing his head to roll on the ground.

A range of emotions filled the air. The Dothraki were a mix of fury and reverence as they witnessed Anakin's exceptional might in defeating their Khal. The crowd hummed with hushed conversations, now leaderless and turning against each other in debates over who should take control.

Ser Jorah marveled at Anakin's resilience, having endured the onslaught without showing any sign of pain. On the other hand, Daenerys was horrified by the decapitated body of the man before her.

Suddenly, Viserys burst into uproarious laughter and warmly embraced Anakin, congratulating him as if they were old friends.

Anakin, however, remained expressionless as he turned his gaze towards Viserys, resenting the plight he had put them in. The disapproval on his face caught Viserys' attention, causing him to let go of Anakin. "Nephew?" he questioned.

Anakin averted his eyes from Viserys and strode towards Khal Drogo's headless body. He hoisted the severed head by its braid, triumphantly displaying it to the Dothraki before he cut the braid and boldly announced to the Dothraki that their Khal had met his end.

"Dothraki, you can fight me and share your Khal's fate…or…join me and reap all that is to come!" Anakin declared, presenting the two choices to the Dothraki Khalasar.

In response, Mago - a rider from Khal Drogo's tribe - raised his voice and contradicted Anakin's proposition. In his mother tongue, he stated, "The Dothraki will never follow foreign trash like you."

Anakin glared at him, his eyes narrowing with determination, and boldly challenged him, "So who are they going to follow? You? Because you're the 'big man' around here," Anakin taunted Mago, who grew more and more irritated with each word.

As the swirl of insults continued, Anakin subtly signaled for Ser Jorah to move his family to stand with the Unsullied, anticipating a potential clash. Without delay, Jorah escorted Daenerys and Viserys, with Illyrio close behind, to the new location.

Mago's impatience and lack of control drove him to recklessly charge towards Anakin, wielding his arakh. In a split second, their blades collide, but Anakin swiftly removes Khal Drogo's knife from his abdomen, using his free hand to plunge it into Mago's eye.

As Mago's body fell to the ground, a group of warriors quickly approached Anakin, catching him off guard with their overwhelming numbers. But before he could fully process the danger, the Unsullied sprang into action, forming a shield around him and engaging in a fierce battle with the approaching Dothraki.

Acting quickly, Anakin led Ser Jorah, Illyrio, and his family to safety behind the line of Unsullied soldiers. As they fled, Viserys demanded to know what their plan was, "now what," he said, with Ser Jorah wondering the same.

Anakin revealed a metal cylinder with a handle and trigger, aiming it towards the sky and pulling the trigger, unleashing a bright red flare. The night sky was instantly illuminated as the red light shone over the nearby hill, revealing the remaining 5,000 Unsullied soldiers in Anakin's army.

With this rise in their numbers, the battle quickly turned in their favor. The Unsullied formed a circle around the Dothraki camp, capturing most of them and eliminating those who refused to surrender. Anakin gave specific orders for his soldiers to take as many Dothraki as possible into custody.

During his voyage across the Dothraki Sea, Anakin slowly began to understand the truth of the Red Priestess words, whom he had sent him on this path. Kinvara's prophecy that he would come across a formidable army to guide in the impending battle became clear to him. Throughout his travels, Anakin had amassed a formidable group of fighters and wanderers, nearing the thousands, and it finally dawned on him that the Dothraki held the crucial key to defeating the oppression of the slave masters in Slaver's Bay.

As the conflicts draw to a close, the Unsullied establish their camp and Anakin with the help of Grey-Worm and the Unsullied leaders take control of the remaining Dothraki. He notices that some of them are more willing than others to submit to a foreign leader, and he deals with those who resist accordingly.

Later that evening, Anakin seeks solace in a nearby tent where he acquaints himself with the diverse group of individuals present. Daenerys, Viserys, Ser Jorah, and Illyrio.

He begins by embracing Daenerys and inquiring about her well-being after their time apart. To Anakin's perception, she seems introverted, timid, and highly obedient, likely a result of her past mistreatment by Viserys.

Speaking of Viserys, the man is full of questions. Anakin abruptly interrupts his uncle's constant chatter about the Iron Throne with a sharp bark, causing both Ser Jorah and Viserys to gaze at him in surprise. Anakin's sudden outburst and lack of interest in claiming his rightful place as heir to the Iron Throne catches them off guard.

However, this is not to suggest that Anakin is unaware of his heritage and the status it entails. In his youth, he often listened to stories from Ser Willem Darry and even Viserys, though their narratives differ greatly. Viserys' tales are filled with anger and a desire for revenge, while Ser Willem's had been truthful and honest. After learning about his grandfather's brutal actions and his father's abduction of Lynna Stark, Anakin gained a more profound comprehension of his family's past.

An ominous aura surrounds Anakin as he moves closer to his uncle, eyes filled with rage. The dimly lit candles in the tent only add to the intensity of the moment as Anakin removes his left glove and locks eyes with Viserys.

"Here's what's going to happen. I'm taking Daenerys with me back to Meereen. Magister Illyrio has extended his hospitality. You'd be more comfortable here. If-" However, Anakin is cut off by Viserys' loud objections. "Now hold on. If you think you're going to leav-" Anakin swiftly silences him with a sharp slap, earning amused chuckles from Ser Jorah and Daenerys. "And 'if' you are going to tag along you will do what I say, when I say. Do you understand?" Anakin's tone is firm as he addresses Viserys. The agitated brother starts to protest again, only to receive another slap from Anakin who repeats his command, "Do you understand?"

Viserys backs off, unsure whether to be angry or impressed by his nephew's bold no-nonsense demeanor.

Ser Jorah becomes the focus of Anakin's attention as he directs his inquiries towards him now. "And you are?" Anakin inquired of the knight.

"Ser Jorah Mormont of Bear Island. I served your grandfather, King Aerys II, for many years. I'm in your service, your grace," he respectfully introduces himself and pledges his loyalty.

Following the introduction to everyone, Anakin concludes by letting them know that they will need to depart the following day as he still has some unfinished business to attend to in Meereen.

Little did he know, his actions were being watched by Ser Jorah Mormont and Illyrio Mopatis, both gathering information to report back to Lord Varys in King's Landing.

The next day, Anakin is on the search for Daenerys when he comes across Jorah and Viserys engaged in conversation.

"Well, Mormont, as brutish as this life is, I suppose it is preferable to beheading. What did Ned Stark want you for? Buying from a slaver," Viserys asks the knight about the cause of his exile.

"Selling to one…some poachers I caught on my land," explained Ser Jorah.

"You sold to slavers?" Anakin questions as he abruptly approaches the two individuals with curiosity.

"Yes, your grace," Jorah confirms, and Anakin's trust in him instinctively diminishes.

He changes the subject and asks about the whereabouts of Daenerys and Illyrio.

"Illyrio is gone. Why? Should we care? He served his purpose," Viserys informs him, with a smirk gracing his face. "And you're still here," Anakin acknowledged, fully aware that this decision meant Viserys would not be staying with Illyrio.

Viserys is eager to see Anakin's achievements in Meereen, but Anakin has different plans. "Change of plan. We're not heading to Meereen. We're marching on Volantis," he said.

"And what awaits in Volantis, your grace?" Jorah asked Anakin, curious to know what he was walking into.

Out of nowhere, Grey-Worm approaches Anakin and softly speaks into his ear. Anakin beckons the group to follow him as he leads them to a nearby tent, where Menial-Snail and Ash-Insect are posted as guards.

Once inside, he directs them to a table with a map of Essos on display. Anakin leads a discussion about the present state of affairs in Meereen and the alliance between Volantis and his adversaries.

The Dothraki army of 40,000 has been successfully subdued by the Unsullied. Half of the Dothraki surrendered and refused to engage in battle, while the remaining 20,000 were easily defeated with minimal losses. This led them to also surrender when their forces dwindled to 18,000. After the dust settled, Anakin, a skilled commander, took command of a massive army of 38,000 Dothraki warriors, including additional nomads gathered on their journey.

Accompanying the formidable warriors were a team of healers, cooks, whores, and civilians who were not trained in combat. Anakin showed no hesitation in providing aid and protection to those seeking shelter from the brutal attacks of neighboring Dothraki clans.

"From here we'll travel south through the Flatlands until we arrive on The Orange Shore. I have a contact in Volantis that will grant us passage across the Rhoyne River. We'll cross from Volon Therys to Sar Mell and march on Volantis from the north-west. My contact will open the gates and from there we'll sack the city," Anakin is confident in his strategy, proclaiming it to his companions, including Ser Jorah who inquired about the trustworthiness of the unknown contact.

"Hasn't led me wrong yet. But if you're so worried I'm sure Illyrio wouldn't mind extending his hospitality," Anakin assured, with a hint of disdain in his tone.

Although Ser Jorah had a suspicion that Anakin did not place his trust in him as readily as the previous Targaryens did, he could not disregard his exceptional military skills, which were clearly displayed in their recent triumph against the Dothraki.

As they are preparing to depart from Pentos Anakin meets with Daenerys who is being helped onto her horse by her newly acquired handmaiden, Doreah, a former bed-slave. Daenerys' brother, purchased Doreah as a wedding present for her, but her marriage never came to fruition. Despite this, Doreah wasted no time in establishing a warm relationship with both Daenerys and her brother.

As Anakin gazes up at her, perched atop her noble steed, her figure shimmers brilliantly in the warm rays of the sun. In his gaze, she is truly glowing with radiance.

"You're hurt," Daenerys remarks while gently touching the newly formed scar next to his right eye.

Anakin responds, "You should see the other ones," leading her to gaze at him with a tinge of sadness. She is unaware of the experiences Anakin has endured thus far, but she can't imagine that they were any more favorable than her own. "Sorry we couldn't stay longer. I hear you've grown to like it here," Anakin said, gently taking her hand off his face and locking eyes with her.

"Yes, it was far better than wandering around the streets of Braavos," Daenerys replied.

"I'm sorry I couldn't find you sooner. How'd you come by Illyrio?" Anakin inquired. Ever since Viserys informed him that the man had departed, he pondered on his origins.

He would need to conduct further research on the identity of Illyrio Mopatis. In addition, there is Ser Jorah Mormont, whose intentions he deems questionable. Based on the stories Anakin has heard about his grandfather, King Aerys II, who was notoriously called 'The Mad King,' it is perplexing that someone with such an evil reputation could gain such devoted supporters. Thankfully, the knight will be accompanying them on their journey, allowing him to closely monitor his actions.

Daenerys confesses that, "He found us," her gaze timidly turning away from Anakin's in spite of being positioned higher than him on the horse. Viserys had indeed kept the girl sheltered throughout these years, as seen through her introverted manner.

Anakin's hand gently guides Daenerys' leg into the horse saddle as he speaks up, "Well… you're with me now. As soon as we sort out this matter in Volantis, we can head to Meereen where you can settle in. I'm sure you'll feel right at home there," he assures her.

"Home?" Daenerys asked, her voice heavy with sadness. "You don't want to return home, do you? To our family's home?" Her question was directed at him, knowing that Viserys had undoubtedly filled her head with tales of vengeance and the wrongs inflicted upon their family by their enemies back home.

Anakin is determined not to crush her spirits and he is secretly intrigued by the thought of seeking retribution for his fallen family and revisiting his homeland. He reassures his aunt that they will have ample opportunity for that, trying to delay her inquiries until he himself figures out his plans. 'One war at a time,' Anakin soothes himself.

Out of the blue, Anakin notices Doreah securing a chest to her horse's rear and he enquires of the handmaiden, "What's in the box?"

"Dragon eggs," Daenerys spoke and Anakin noticed a trace of happiness in her tone for the first time. "They were a gift from Illyrio. But they're petrified," she mentioned.

As Anakin peers into the force, he senses something stirring within the chest. Upon further examination, he discovers a strong life force emanating from the dragon eggs inside. 'They are alive, in a state of hibernation, perhaps,' Anakin noted to himself.

Daenerys speaks up, noticing that Anakin has been fixated on the box for quite some time, and asks, "What's wrong?"

"Nothing. Come on. We've got a long road ahead of us," Anakin exclaimed with a smile as he pats the rear of Daenerys' horse and sends her off. Doreah follows suit and Anakin climbs onto his majestic white horse, leading the way towards the impending voyage and battle ahead.
