Back with Aquaformer, the femme, seeing that the Two mechs didn't seem to be making much of an effort to help her headed out on her own. This was ridiculous, she thought. Ultra Magnus and Skyfire, embarrassed by what had happened and not wanting to lose the femme, soon scrambled to get up off their afts and help Aquaformer find a place to rest. Unseen by Magnus and Skyfire, Hide laughed at the pair. He would have to tell Optimus about this… well, once the war was over.
Meanwhile, Grimlock continued to guard Lancex, unaware that the dinobot was blocking the entire hall. All the dinobot cared about was that no one could come near his prize and future mate. And it was at that moment the door opened and in came a bit Grimlock didn't recognize. It was the femme Aquaformer who had managed to find her way here before Skyfire and Magnus could find her and help her. Grimlock growled at the femme. "Me no like, go away."
Processor ache pounding, Aquaformer was in no mood to be nice. "I'm heading to the open berth. Move your fat aft, you fossil!" Aquaformer barked.
"Me no fossil. Me Grimlock" Grimlock replied.
"I don't care if you are the Prime, move your huge aft out of my way" Aquaformer retorted, aiming a weapon at the bot. She didn't intend on hurting him, but she just wanted to get back to the berth. Grimlock, realizing the femme was serious moved slightly, though it brought the dinobot more into Lancex's room.
Relieved, Aquaformer moved past the dinobot and went to the berth in the room on the far end of the hall. Grimlock then realized that the femme was no threat to him for taking Lancex. But seeing that he was now inside the room where Lancex was, Grimlock couldn't help but move closer to the sleeping bot. Seeming to sense the bot was powerful but vulnerable, Grimlock approached carefully before whispering in the bot's audio, "me want you, me make you mine soon. You be me Grimlock's mate and have Grimlock's sparklings." Still sleeping, Lancex moaned softly, as if in submission to the more dominant bot. Grimlock smiled, gave the bot a soft but dominant kiss and then headed out. With Aquaformer here and in a bad mood, Grimlock didn't feel like he needed to watch the bot anymore.
Back in her own room, Aquaformer felt bad for how she had reacted to Grimlock, but he wasn't listening to her. She would apologize to him later. She tried to fall into recharge, but the processor ache was relentless. And in trying to get her mind focused elsewhere, she thought of Ultra Magnus and Skyfire. Both were big bots, seemingly kind, and respectful at times, but seemed to react weird around her. She wondered if they liked her or if she was driving them away. And as she thought of that, she finally managed to drift off.
Meanwhile, outside of the room, Grimlock ran into Skyfire and Ultra Magnus arguing about something. "Why fight?" Grimlock asked, wanting to see what was up. Neither Skyfire nor Magnus wanted to admit that they were fighting over the femme so they said nothing. At that and noting no further arguing, Grimlock looked at them and then moved on. He had things to take care of.
