Having left Skyfire and Ultra Magnus behind, Optimus didn't realize his feet were leading to one of the training areas. His processor was elsewhere at the moment. He would find out soon enough.
But back in the training room, Lancex continued to spar with Grimlock. Lancex managed to pin Grimlock a couple times but more often than not, Grimlock easily pinned Lancex. Lancex had to admit he underestimated just how strong the dinobot was. The T-Rex was not easily defeated. But Lancex saw that meaning that this sparing would improve his own skills.
Grimlock smirked as he sparred with Lancex. True, the bot had gotten the betterof the dinobot once or twice, but Grimlock was the victor most of the time. Then the dinobot smelled something and smirked even more. The scent of pheromones coming from Lancex was overwhelming, at least to the scent sensitive dinobot. And Grimlock planned to use that to his advantage.
And after a bit more sparring, Grimlock rubbed just the right place and Lancex went down, pinned other the large dinobot. Lancex tried to get up, but dinobit wasn't letting the bot up this time. Lancex wasn't sure what was going on until he felt his systems react to what Grimlock was doing. "Me best you, you mine" Grimlock stated, wanting badly to claim the bot. Bested and not really wanting to get away from what the dinobit was doing, Lancex moaned and allowed Grimlock to continue. Though confused, The rush of hormones prevented Lancex from wanting to get up and leave or spar again. Grimlock leaned in and planted a searing hot kiss on Lancex.
Then a sound was heard and Grimlock stopped what he was doing. He released Lancex and helped the bot to his feet. And once that occurred, the two turned and saw Optimus in the training room. Optimus had only come in and seen Grimlock assist Lancex off the floor. "Me bested bot. Him soon be better fighter" Grimlock stated, though he sounded frustrated as he hated Optimus seemed to always interrupt things. Optimus nodded as Lancex was nodding as well. Optimus still couldn't figure out why he was so agitated at seeing Grimlock with Lancex, but for now, he just didn't want to think about it.
Meanwhile, having rested, Aquaformer was helping Ratchet out in the med bay. "You seem distracted, Aquaformer" Ratchet cautiously mentioned. Femmes could be dangerous to mechs if provoked.
"No, I'm not. I'm annoyed, every bot knows I don't like being distracted while out on a mission, well, apparently except Ultra Magnus. Even Skyfire and Optimus know you don't bother a femme on a mission" Aquaformer retorted. Her systems were acting a bit off at the mention of Skyfire and Ultra Magnus but she figured it was just a crush and it would soon pass. After all, few bots wanted to be near her and even fewer be her friends. She doubted any bot really wanted her for more than that, even though she secretly longed for it. Ratchet kept his trap shut, as Aquaformer oils be a loose cannon if cornered and the medic didn't want that in the med bay.
