Meanwhile, as Ratchet awaited for the theee mechs to reach the area that passed for a med bay, Cosmos woke up and found himself snuggled inside the arms of the larger Lancex. Cosmos smiled and then blushed. True, Cosmos had acted as the more dominant bot when they fragged the night before, but he also felt safe curled up in the arms of the larger bot, as it seemed to activate Cosmos' more submissive side. But seeing that the larger bot was still sleeping, Cosmos planted a heated kiss upon Lancex's lips, to see what the bot would do.
Lancex's optics soon onlined as the larger bot work and smiled at the smaller bot. "Why didn't you tell me?" Lancex asked.
"Tell you what?" Cosmos asked, a bit concerned.
"How you felt about me and that you are also a submissive mech" Lancex replied carefully, not wanting to hurt or embarrass the smaller bot.
"Well, with Optimus and Grimlock seeming to vie for your attention, I wasn't sure I stood a chance. And as for the submissive thing… I've never told anyone. Never thought that I would find another submissive mech like me. Minibot submissive mechs are even more rare than regular bot submissive mechs, even though those are rare. I didn't want anyone to know and take advantage of me" Cosmos explained.
"I can understand that. But I think once Grimlock and Optimus realize the truth, they will either have to take us together, or neither of us" Lancex explained. Cosmos's optics opened wide, shocked. He didn't realize that their session had connected them like this. Not quite a full spark bond per se, but linked them so that whoever would sparkbond to one of them would have to spark bond to both. Cosmos smiled, feeling more accepted and wanted than he had in a long time. Soon enough, they both got up, cleaned up, and headed out to the rec room.
Meanwhile, in the med bay, Aquaformer was just coming to when Skyfire, Ultra Magnus, and Optimus arrived. She couldn't quite read their expressions so she could only assume that she was in trouble and would be spending time in the brig for something. It has always been her luck, whenever those in charge came, she was only told when she screwed up, so she presumed this time would be no different.
"Ratchet, I a, not sure why I was called here. Skyfire and Ultra Magnus I understand, but why me?" Optimus asked, in Prime like authority.
"As I had mentioned before, Aquaformer is sparked. What I didn't know until just now is how sparked she is" Ratchet replied.
"We know she is sparked, but why call us here?" Ultra Magnus asked.
Aquaformer remained silent, feeling her contribution to the discussion would lead her to the brig, regardless of being sparked. "I failed to remember that Aquaformer has two separate sparkling development chambers.." ratchet started.
"So, one likely doesn't work" Skyfire added, ever the pragmatic scientist.
"That is where you are wrong, both are working and she is carrying twin sparklings in each chamber" Ratchet finished, stunning the others.
Ultra Magnus and Skyfire were too stunned to say anything further for the moment. "So, she is carrying 4 sparklings inside her?" Optimus asked to clarify.
"Indeed. I cannot medically allow her to fight in this condition. She can help her in the base, but if we lose her, we lose not only the sparklings, but likely also Skyfire and Ultra Magnus" Ratchet revealed. Now things really were a mess. Much like Ratchet Aquaformer's mates, Optimus could feel his systems react to the sparked femme. She would need protection from the cons, but that would be the easy part. Convincing her to remain under protection for hers and the sparklings sake would be much harder.
