As Mirage ran to get others ready, Ratchet commed Ultra Magnus, figuring he would be with the sparked femme at the time. "We have trouble Magnus, you have to get Aquaformer to safety" Ratchet commed the bot.
"What sort of trouble?" Ultra Magnus asked, wanting to know.
"The extremely unwanted kind" Ratchet replied, implying the cons were on the move.
Ultra Magnus was worried. "I understand why you are contacting me, but Aquaformer isn't here. She went out with Skyfire, begrudgingly" Magnus revealed.
"Why did she go out?" Ratchet asked, very concerned.
"Because we forbade her from leaving our quarters for a bit" Ultra Magnus shot back showing his ignorance.
"You do realize that trapped, sparked femmes can be dangerous femmes, don't you?" Ratchet asked.
"Uh…yeah… Aquaformer threatened to blast off my appliance if we didn't let her roam for a bit. We would only allow her to go if Skyfire went with her. I have no idea where they are, as they haven't contacted me since they left" Magnus replied. Ratchet read Magnus the riot act before ending the comm and contacting Skyfire.
"Ratchet to Skyfire, Ratchet to Skyfire, come in Skyfire" came a comm.
"Skyfire here, how can I help you Ratchet?" Skyfire asked, sensing something off about the comm, as if something was urgent.
"Aquaformer has to get to safety. We have received a report and we believe the cons are on the move and are seeking out two specific Autobots – Lancex and Aquaformer. You and I both know if Megatron gets ahold of Aquaformer, she is as good as dead" Ratchet shot across the comm.
"I see your point. I am carrying Aquaformer inside me as she tired out quickly as she flew. I will return and head deep into the base for safety. Skyfire out" Skyfire replied and soon turned his form back towards the Autobot base. He hoped that they could reach it and safety before the cons caught wind of Aquaformer being out and about.
Back at the base, alarms sounded and all bots, other than Magnus and Ratchet, gathered in the main room. The showdown seemed to be looming large and no one who could fight wanted to miss it. Even Lancex, Cosmos and Grimlock made their way to the big room, this was likely going to be big. It was time to end this thing once and for all.
