Here's another chapter! I hope you enjoy it!

As soon as I hung up, I called Piper.
"What's up?" She asked.
"I'm going on a date with Percy tomorrow. Can you come over here and help me choose and outfit?"
"Say no more. I'll be there in fifteen minutes."
"Thank you."
"No problem.
She hung up and I went into my closet. I took out five outfits, including my favorite dress. That was the one with the music notes on it. I didn't know what song it was, but it was pretty. I set them on my bed and waited for Piper to come. She was the best at fashion. She knew right away if an outfit would work or not.

In a few minutes, Piper buzzed and I let her in.
"So," she said. "When's the date?"
"Nine o'clock tomorrow morning," I said.
"Nice! And what does this Percy look like?"
"He's tanned and has scruffy black hair. He looks like he could be a surfer."
"Ooh! And did he ask you out, or the other way around?"
"He asked me out."
"Nice."
Piper looked at the outfits on my bed.
"Girl, we need to take you shopping."
"But I don't have enough money for new clothes."
"Don't worry. It's on me."
Piper was the daughter of a movie star, so she was loaded. We left my apartment in Piper's car and went to the mall. On the way there, she asked me question after question about Percy.
"Tomorrow," she said. "You should ask him to the gala."
I shook my head.
"No. I barely know him. I want to get to know him first and then I'll ask him."

We arrived at the mall and we went in. We went to seven different stores and bought at least two outfits at each store. When Piper wanted to buy me clothes, she always went overboard. In the third store we went to, I tried on this blue and gold dress.
"You should wear that tomorrow," Piper said.
"Are you sure? You don't think it's a bit much?"
"No. You said he likes the color blue, right?"
"Well, yeah, but-"
"No buts. Just get the dress."
Four stores later, we went back to the car, arms full of bags. We drove back to my apartment. In addition to the dress I would wear for the date, I also got a dress for the gala. It was gray with green swirls. When we got back to my apartment, Piper made me try on each outfit and dress again, just to make sure I should wear the blue and gold dress.
"Yep!" She said. "I was right. The blue and gold dress is perfect for you."

It was getting late, so Piper went home and I made dinner. I thought about calling Percy again, but I decided against it. After I was done with my meal (chicken nuggets and mac and cheese) I put my clothes away. I ran through the details of the date in my mind. He had said we'd go to Copy Cat Coffee and we'd meet there at nine am. I just couldn't wait to go! After watching some TV, I went to bed and dreamed of dates, blue dresses, and blue cookies.
