Izuku was sitting in his office the next day and was dealing with a great evil. It was so evil and vile that even gods try and avoid it, and no man or woman should ever have to do.

Paperwork.

"Ugh" said Izuku as he slammed his head on his table "how did dad deal with this much paperwork...".

Izuku looked up and saw two more stacks of paperwork, luckily most of the paperwork is just filling out papers on his hero work.

As he went back to it and started filling out his report about catching that 20 story building the other day. A knock on the door caught his attention "come in" said Izuku.

"Excuse me Mr. Midoriya but you have a guest wishing to see you" said his secretary.

"Hm who is it?" Asked Izuku.

"He said his name is Sir Nighteye" said his secretary noticing Izuku scowl for a moment.

"Ugh... Fine send him in, might as well see what he wants" said Izuku as he put his paperwork to the side.

A couple minutes later Sir Nighteye walked in the room and looked around. "Hm I see you made yourself at home here" said Nighteye walking up to him and sitting down across from him.

"What do you want Nighteye" said Izuku not wanting to deal with him.

"I've come here to talk and ask what will do as a hero" said Nighteye.

"I'll save people with a smile and inspire hope in them" said Izuku.

"Hmm and what will do in situations where you can't save someone" said Nighteye as he interlocked his fingers.

"I'll find a way to save them" said Izuku with a slight frown. "What is it you really want Nighteye".

"I'm trying to figure out why All Might would choose a boy like you, someone who's father ran out on him after showing he was quirkless. And I'm guessing because of you being quirkless you were mistreated and bullied". Said Nighteye with his fingers intertwined "Meanwhile I trained a proper successor that would be able to take his mantle as continue his symbol". Nighteye then glared harshly at Izuku "but instead we have you a boy who only survived on sheer dumb luck".

"I really don't know why you have so much hatred for me, but all I'm trying to do is save people. All Might chose me to be his successor because he saw something in me and not just what you thought was right". Said Izuku before he stood up and looked Nighteye right in his eyes with a glare. "I've had enough bullying to last me a life time and quiet frankly I'm sick of your shit Nighteye so how about you get it through your thick skull and accept it. All Might chose me and not Mirio and I'm not going to let him down because you have your panties in a twist".

Izuku and Nighteye glared at each other for a while before Nighteye stood up and placed down his card. "Then prove it to me and come join me on a patrol in a couple of days and I'll show you how a true hero acts. As well as show you why you should give Mirio One for all". After he said that he left the building.

Izuku slumped back in his chair and pinched the bridge of his nose from dealing with Nighteye. "As Miruko would say, he really needs that log pulled out of his ass" muttered Izuku with a chuckle.

Izuku just arrived at the 1-A dorms and walked through the doors and saw someone he hasn't seen since the sports festival.

"Hey Shinso how it it going?" Asked Izuku walking up to Shinso who was talking to Tokoyami.

"Hm oh Midoriya how's it going?" Asked Shinso with a small smile.

"It's going good Shinso and I see you've been training" said Izuku.

"Heh yeah your teacher.. well now also my teacher is a real slave driver" said Shinso with a light chuckle.

"Yea I agree, he really is a slave driver" said Izuku rubbing the back of hit head.

"AHH Midoriya your here good I hope even though you've been doing hero work, your still up to date on your studies". Said Iida hand chopping so fast it looked like a blur.

"Um yeah Iida I'm keeping up but I still need to finish today's assignment" said Izuku.

"Well in that case I insist you go and do it right now, as a UA student we should always be on top of our studies". Said Iida hand chopping and shoving Izuku upstairs.

"Ummm Iida I still need to eat.." said Izuku.

"Don't worry I'll bring you nutritional food that will help you study" said Iida as he walked away heading to the kitchen.

Izuku sighed and went upstairs to his room to study.

An hour later he placed down his last assignment and stretched "man I still don't understand why they are having us study such complicated things. Even though we are gonna be hero's, I can't see a reason why we to need know X and Y and how to find then when I'm saving people". Mumbled Izuku before he was interrupted by a knock on his door.

"It's open" said Izuku as he saw the door open and Ochako walked in and closed the door.

"Hey Izuku-kun why weren't you downstairs?" Asked Ochako slightly hurt.

"Sigh... Iida made me come up here and finish my assignments" said Izuku which got a sigh from Ochako.

"We really need to find a way for him not to be so high strung" said Ochako scratching her head.

"I agree" said Izuku walking to his bed and flopping down on it laying down and looking out the window.

Ochako walked up to him and sat down and leaned her head down so it was laying on Izuku's stomach. "So how was today?" Asked Ochako curiously.

"Paperwork... And dealing with Nighteye.." said Izuku.

"What did he want?" Asked Ochako looking up at him confused.

"He wants me go on patrol with him to see how a "real hero" works" said Izuku doing air quotas.

"But wasn't he the one that degraded you because he said you weren't worthy of the title" said Ochako frowning.

"Yes... But I have to prove him wrong so I have to go with him" said Izuku.

Ochako said nothing before she leaned over to Izuku and gently kissed his cheek. "Well I know you can do it Izuku-kun" said Ochako smiling warmly at him.

Izuku kissed her back before he wrapped his arm around her and smiled "thanks Ochako".

A couple days later Izuku arrived at Nighteyes agency ready to show him that he was worthy of his title. He walked in the building already wearing his Hero costume and was met with Mirio who was wearing his own.

"Hey Midoriya how's it going?" Asked Mirio walking up to him.

"I've been doing good but would rather not be here" said Izuku.

Mirio didn't say anything but nodded and led Izuku upstairs to Nighteyes office.

After a couple of minutes they arrived and when they entered the room Izuku was met with a... Weird sight...

Nighteye had his sidekick Bubble Girl hooked to a device and was tickling her while he had a serious expression as she was laughing like crazy.

"... I'm going to need a therapist..." Thought Izuku.

Nighteye soon realized Izuku was here and stopped tickling Bubble Girl, letting her out of the device.

"Good your here, now let's get started Mirio, Bubble Girl you two will be patrolling together. While me and Deku patrol together" said Nighteye as he started leaving his office.

The others soon followed and after a couple minutes they were patrolling the city while looking around.

"So tell me Deku what is the purpose of patrolling" said Nighteye.

"It's to look for danger and to help out citizens at ease with our presence" said Izuku waving at a couple people who were waving a him.

"Hmm that is true" said Nighteye.

A hour later they were both walking and they passed a alley when Izuku heard the sound of bare feet running on concrete.

He turned and saw a little girl running towards him with her head down and was about to crash into him. Izuku quickly knelt down and caught the girl.

"Woah woah it's okay, tell me what's wrong" said Izuku looking at the girl noticing her dirty shirt and her arms wrapped in bandages. She had big beautiful red eyes and long dirty white hair, she also had a small bronze horn on her forehead.

Eri froze upon contact with the person and was about to try and escape when she felt his arm wrap around her. While another gently patted her head.

Eri didn't know why but for the first time in her life... She felt safe and warm.. like no harm could come to her if she was near him. she slowly lifted her head up and looked at him and saw his messy green hair and green hero costume.

As Eri looked at him she felt something different... She felt... Hope and she felt a desire to never let go.

"Ahh I'm sorry about my daughter" said a man walking to them wearing a coat with a fur collar and a bird mask.

Izuku looked at the man and didn't like the feeling he gave off, it felt cold and evil. He immediately noticed how Eri seemed to try and hold him tighter while hiding herself on his suit.

Overhaul looked and saw the man who's been investigating them for a long time Sir Nighteye. He then looked over and silently cursed to himself for who was holding Eri.

"Damnit it's Deku... I need to play my cards carefully with him, unless I wanna end up like All for one". Thought Overhaul. "Once again sorry for my daughter she doesn't like it when I get angry at her for something wrong she did. Now come on Eri let's go home we don't wanna bother the heroes".

"It's no trouble I'm sure being a parent is quiet hard" said Nighteye quickly trying to diffuse the situation or their cover will be blown.

Izuku watched him closely but heard Eri whisper something quietly "he's not my dad" said Eri. As soon as she said that Izuku was immediately on high alert and started to look for escape routes.

"Deku give him his daughter back we don't have any right messing with family affairs" said Nighteye.

Izuku wanted to protest but Nighteye sent him a harsh glare that said follow my orders.

He gritted his teeth in anger and whispered to Eri "don't worry I'll save you" said Izuku.

Eri nodded and Izuku was about to leap back with Eri before Nighteye placed his hand on his shoulder harshly.

"Sorry about him he's still knew and and is learning everything" said Nighteye increasing the pressure on Izuku's shoulder.

"Hmm it's quiet alright with everything going on you can't be to careful" said Overhaul as he reached for his glove.

Eri saw this and ran towards him with her head down as Overhaul smirked.

"Anyways sorry for troubling you heroes" said Overhaul before he grabbed Eri's hand almost breaking it and dragged her away.

Izuku and Nighteye stood there for a moment until they were sure he was gone.

"That was very stupid of you Boy, you almost blew our cover an-" said Nighteye before he was cut off by Izuku punching him.

Sir Nighteye flew out the alley and across the street and smashed into a car very hard.

"I DON'T CARE IF IT BLEW OUR COVER A LITTLE GIRL WAS THERE IT NEEDED OUR HELP BUT BECAUSE OF YOU WE CAN SAVE HER!". Screamed Izuku with rage.

Around Izuku were pedestrians who stopped and started recording what was going on.

"Even so our cov-" Sir Nighteye was cut off again when Izuku kicked him in chest sending him through the car.

"SO WHAT WE ARE HERO'S IT'S OUR JOB TO SAVE THEM, AND BECAUSE OF YOU NOW A LITTLE GIRL IS IN EVEN MORE DANGER!". Screamed Izuku "I'm going to save that girl whether you like it or not and your cover being blown damned. You don't deserve to be called a hero after this Nighteye and that girls blood is on your hands".

After Izuku said that he jumped away heading for Might tower to get any information on that man.

Nighteye stood up and dusted himself off and walked away "even if we are heroes we don't have enough evidence" thought Nighteye.

What Izuku or Nighteye didn't know at the time was the people that recorded whole interaction posted it on the internet.
