1989, FIVE YEARS AFTER THE BATTLE AGAINST SALEM
One early morning, Pyrrha, having actually married Jaune some time after the Salem battle of 1984, they also had a kid, a son named Norkos, and as Pyrrha was heading to her apartment, things weren't going that well with some of the other citizens of New York, one even having gotten arrested by the Atlas military for a case of vandalism.
She approached her apartment building at 325 East 77th Street. Frank, the superintendent, gave some orders to a repairman. Frank was clearly agitated with the repairman's progress or lack of.
"Then I want you to go downstairs to the cellar and check the water lines under the boiler. Check the pump. All right? I want you to do that today, all right? Can you do that?" Frank comments
The repairman nodded and went inside after bumping into a dog being walked.
"Frank?" Pyrrha asks, getting the superintendent's attention. "Would you mind giving me a hand with these, please?"
"Hey, I ain't the doorman, Miss Barrett. I'm the building's superintendent." Frank responds
Dana handed him her two full D'Agostino grocery paper bags to carry.
"Yeah, but you're also a human being." Pyrrha responds
"Okay, it's not my job, but what the hell, I'll do you afavor." Frank comments
"Listen, Frank, when are you gonna get around to fixing the radiator in the baby's room?" Pyrrha asks. "I thought I told you to last week."
As the two were discussing the situation regarding the radiator, they didn't notice the baby carriage wheeling away slowly on it's own. When Pyrrha did notice, it came to a stop. She tried to walk over to it but it kept rolling away.
She straight up sprinted after it as it continued rolling away from her. The chase continued on through the highway, Pyrrha not giving up chase but several cars had to stop . When Pyrrha did finally catch up to it, the baby carriage came to a full stop as a bus shot by, Pyrrha running over and picking up Norkos, making sure he was okay.
Then, the view fades to black as a logo fades into view. Visually, the logo looks liek a Beowolf on it's back legs in a red circle with a red line through it.
A/N: This is the logo for Grimmbusters II roughly. :). It'll be the cover when I get the image thrown together
Grimmbusters!
When the view fades back in and the logo fades away, the Ecto-1 was driving around New York, looking as if it had truly seen better days.
If there's something strange in your neighborhood, who ya gonna call?
The muffler pipes shot out a couple large puffs of smoke as the Ecto turned a corner.
Grimmbusters!
Everyone watched in confusion as the car kept driving around.
If there's something weird and it don't look good, who ya gonna call?
In the driver's seat of the Ecto-1 was Neptune Vasilias and the one with him was Flynt Coal, and Neptune continued driving, him and Flynt having somewhere to go.
Grimmbusters!
Flynt sighed and looked out the passenger side window of the Ecto-1 as the sirens kept blaring.
I ain't afraid of no ghost
Flynt sighed and asks Neptune, "How many of them did she say there was again?"
"Around fourteen of them, I believe." Neptune comments
Flynt groaned a little.
"I think i've had it by now, Neptune." Flynt comments. "I'm getting tired of taking abuse from over privileged 9 year olds."
"I know, C, but we can't just quit now. The holidays are coming up." Neptune states, trying to remain optimistic. "It's our best season."
Flynt sighed.
"Neptune, we need to face it. Grimmbusters doesn't exist." Flynt says. "A year from now those kids won't even remember who we are."
Neptune sighed.
"Ungrateful little yuppy larva." Neptune comments. "After all we did for this city."
"Yeah, we conjured up a 112 feet and six inches tall marshmallow man, blew the top three floors practically off of a city skyscraper and then got ourselves into a paranormal and Grimm based dry spell so dry we're barely able to keep up with our own rent." Flynt stated,
Neptune smiled a little before saying, "Yeah, but what a ride doing it."
