Chapter 4: Wolf man*

After Leeway and Mike escaped from that family house, they once again traveled for two more days and ended up in the middle of a strange, big forest. They've been stuck there for what feels like forever.

Mike: "Bruh, I can't believe those people worked for that crazy man; they were so nice."

Leeway: "They were just trying to make us drop our guard, which we did, and it will never happen again."

Mike: "I'll drop my guard for some more of that good soup *licks lips*."

Leeway: "Well, if you're hungry, eat the fruit we got with us."

Rattle* *Rattle* Something shakes in the bushes behind them.

Leeway: "What was that?"

Mike: "No idea, but it came from over there" *points to bush*.

Leeway picks up a rock and throws it at the bush, causing a wolf to jump out, scaring them both.

Mike: "Ah shoot, that's a big dog."

Leeway: "That's no dog."

The wolf stares at them for a little while before running off deeper into the woods.

Mike: "Ok, let's not go that way" (he says, turning the opposite way of where the wolf ran off to).

Leeway: "Yep, sounds about right."

Meanwhile, the wolf runs deep into the woods, under a log, through some more bushes, and into a cave where we meet a strange man.

Man: "So, they have made their way here."

Wolf: *bark* *bark*

Man: "And he still has the sword with him; good. I don't know where they're going when they gotta cross my territory. But best believe this is where them boys take their last breath."

(Back to Leeway and Mike)

Leeway has his eyes closed as he walks through the woods. Mike doesn't know why and is confused, so he asks him.

Mike: "Leeway, open your damn eyes."

Leeway: *Bumps into a tree* *Ouch* "I can't; I'm trying to learn something."

Mike: "What are you trying to learn that Sensei Dai hasn't taught us?"

Leeway: "I told you already; presence sense."

Mike: "That's nonsense. If something like that existed, I'm pretty sure Sensei would have taught us."

Leeway: "Unless he couldn't or didn't know it even was a thing."

Mike: "We're talking about Sensei Dai here; the man lives and breathes everything martial arts."

Leeway: "Well, what if this is more than martial arts."

As soon as Leeway finishes that sentence, he falls straight down into what seems to be a hidden ground trap.

Mike: "See what did I tell you, open your eyes."

Leeway: "Yeah, whatever, find something to help me up."

Mike: "Okay."

BAM!*

(Mike is tackled to the floor in the blink of an eye.)

Leeway: "Mike!? What was that?"

Man: "Just wait here, kid. I'm gonna kill your friend, then I'll be back to finish you off" *closes the trap door*.

Leeway: "What? Who are you? Get me out of here, you coward!"

FACE ME!* Leeway yells.

Mike manages to get whatever tackled him down off by stabbing it in the neck with a sharp rock.

Mike: "A damn wolf" (Mike says angrily), "wait a minute, what's with all these wolves around me?"

Just as Mike is questioning what's going on, the wolves open up, and the man walks straight through them, coming face to face with Mike.

Mike: "Who the hell are you?"

Man: "The man who's gonna deliver your lifeless body to my master."

Mike: "Ok, that's not really a name."

Man: "You can call me Ōkami" (he says with a smirk).

Mike: "Ok, Ōkami, what did you do to Leeway?"

Ōkami: "Oh boy, you should be worrying about yourself."

A wolf jumps at Mike, causing him to jump to the right; the wolf misses but dashes at Mike again, so Mike grabs some dirt, throwing it into the beast's eyes, blinding it, leaving room for him to kick it unconscious.

Mike: "You gotta be real dumb thinking one little wolf can stop me."

Ōkami: "Ok then, fight 5."

Mike: "I can do this all day."

(Meanwhile with Leeway)

I gotta get out of here, Leeway thought.

Leeway then noticed he still had his sikei on him, so he strikes it into the dirt-made walls, trying to force his way up.

Leeway: "This is so dumb; I need something else sharp to climb my way out."

(Leeway looks around and finds a stick.)

Leeway: "Yes, I can sharpen this and get out."

Which he does, and Leeway climbed all the way up, kicking open the trap door.But when he got out, he was greeted with three wolves waiting for him.

Leeway: "I knew it wasn't gonna be that easy."

Leeway charges the three, grabbing one by the tail and hitting it straight onto another. As for the other one, it swung at Leeway but was thankfully blocked by his Sikei. Leeway then drives into said wolf's neck. Leeway looks up and sees Mike barely holding on while fighting wolves back to back.

Leeway: "Mike! We can't keep fighting them all; we're gonna get tired."

Mike: "I know. I can't think of a plan."

(Leeway jumps straight into the wolf circle with Mike.)

Leeway takes out two more wolves that were behind Mike, and Mike takes out the twin he was fighting, but as soon as they beat them, he sends in more.

Mike: "Dang, this is a big wolf pack." Mike then remembers something Janet told him not too long ago. "If you take out the pack leader, the rest fall back."

Mike: "We got to take out Ōkami to get the rest to stop attacking."

Leeway: "Great idea, Mikey. But where is he at?"

Mike: "I don't know, I got distracted. There's no way we can find him through all this mess."

Leeway: "Actually, there is" closes eyes.

Mike: "Not that again, come on Leeway, you're gonna get yourself killed." kicks a wolf that was trying to bite Leeway.

Leeway: "I can do this; just wait, Mike."

Mike: "Okay, I'll trust you."

While Mike defends Leeway, with his last breath, Leeway concentrates, trying to focus on Ōkami. That's when something strange happens; Leeway's Sikei starts to glow, and Leeway can sense where Ōkami is hiding, like he's there with him.

Leeway: "I got him; he's in that tree." points to the top of a very tall tree.

Mike: "Are you sure?"

Leeway: "Yes, do the thing, Mike."

Mike: "Okay, you know after this, I'm out, right?"

Leeway: "Yes, just do it; I'll handle the rest."

At that moment, Mike does something extremely weird; he pulls his hand back, revealing his arm is a cannon. Using the rest of his energy, Mike blows up the tree, revealing Ōkami. As he falls from the tree, the big wolf from before catches him. Leeway was ready, though, and cuts the paw off, making him tumble to the ground, dropping Ōkami.

Ōkami hits the floor*

Ōkami: "What? I was told you couldn't presence sense. Did the boy's arm turn into a gun? WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE!"

Leeway: "Stop with all the questions and do me a favor; next time you see your master, tell him I'm coming for him, and I'm gonna be prepared and stronger than ever before."

As soon as Leeway cocks his fist back to knock him out, the wolves, knowing they were beat, carry Ōkami back into the deep part of the forest. Leeway walks over to Unconscious Mike and carries him away, eventually finding their way out of this annoying forest.
