" Suigetsu, you said the inn was a little ways ahead !!" Karin said, annoyed with walking for hours.
" Well..a... Maybe you're just too tired to go on, Karin, " Suigetsu replied teasingly.
" IT'S THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!!!" Karin shouted.
" guys, enough " Sasuke said, not wanting the 34th fight between the two of them today to begin.
Team Taka (or, Hebi) was continuing their hunt for Itachi and were going to stay at an inn for the night. But now, it was about 11:30ish at night. Karin was mad at Suigetsu since he had said that the inn was nearby. Turns out, it wasn't. At all. And now, it was beginning to rain. ( downpour)
By the time they made it to the inn, it was thunderstorming out, about midnight, and they were all very tired ( both physically and mentally), especially since they had fought some rouge shinobi earlier.
When they got into their room, the first place one of them sat or layed down on was were they instantly fell asleep. And slept their for the night.
After Karin watched Sasuke sleeping for a bit ( a long bit), the 4 of them were sound asleep.
--Couple hours later ( 2:00ish a.m.)--
Sasuke, as tired as he was, sat up on the bed (or, well, the couch he fell asleep on). He felt nauseous as hell and couldn't take it any longer. He didn't even know why. They barely ate anything that day. He wanted it to finally pass, but the nausea only seemed to increase.
" Are you alright, Sasuke?" Jugo asked, seeing him sitting up on the couch with a hand over his mouth.Sasuke nodded slowly, not wanting the others to get involved.
Jugo got up and went over to him. "Do you-"
Before he could finish, Sasuke suddenly rushed out of bed ( couch), and ran to the bathroom. Jugo followed him, concerned, to see him hovered over the toliet.
Jugo put his hand on Sasuke's back, but as he did, he realized that Sasuke was coughing up a lot of blood.
" I'm...f..fine.." Sasuke said weakly, breathing very hard. He then slowly got up and tried to make his way back to the couch. Jugo helped him walk since it seemed like he'd pass out any second.
Sasuke was burning up with a high fever, panting, and sweating.
" Where'd this come from..." Jugo thought, but a boom of thunder reminded him that it was storming out, and maybe Sasuke got it from that.
Karin, half sleeping, looked/turned over at the couch from the bed. In her tired gaze, she saw Jugo kneeling by Sasuke.
" WHAT'S HAPPENING!!? IS MY SASUKE ALRIGHT?!?!?!?" She screamed, panicky sitting up.
" My kami... this woman..." Suigetsu said, turning over and yanking the covers over his face.
" Shush!" Jugo glared at Karin, then looked at Sasuke.
Karin instantly scrambled off the bed and knelt down by ( and very close to) Sasuke.
Jugo got a wet washcloth to put on Sasuke's forehead, but it barely seemed to help.
" Whatta we do?!?!? Is he gonna be okay!??!" Karin said, panicking.
" I said don't talk so loud," Jugo said quietly but sternly. " I'll stay up and watch him. You go back to-"
"Wha!?! I am not-"
"shush!"
" I am not going back to bed when my Sasuke is dying!" Karin cried/whisperd.
" He's not dying. He just has a fever"
" Would you two be quiet already?" Suigetsu asked, voice slurred by tiredness. " tryen' ta sleep 'ere"
" SHUT UP SUIGETSU!! " Karin yell-whisperd.
Jugo, getting very annoyed with those two, thought of possibly getting another separate room. But he knew Karin would follow him.
Sasuke's shaking, heavy, quick breathing brought Karin's attention over (and her voice down).
" Are you okay!??! Talk to me, Sasuke!!!" Karin said, excessively worried.
Jugo got various supplies, since he planned to stay by him all night, such as a thermomer, a bucket, more blankets, and since they didn't have any medicine at the inn, he made sure that there was plenty of water.
The two of them (Jugo and Karin) stayed up almost all night, Karin falling asleep leaning against the side of the couch within the first 2 hours.
Jugo watched over Sasuke until morning, making sure he was okay as he puked in the bucket and dreamed feverish nightmares. He only went back to sleep near the couch when he made sure the fever was finally gone.
--Morning--
Karin, who had slept leaning on the couch all night, suddenly shot up, instantly panicking again. She peeked over the armrest to see Sasuke sleeping peacefully, which very much relieved her. She watched him sleep until...
" The hell were you two doin' last night?" Suigetsu asked, waking and sitting up, only remembering them talking all night.
"None of your business, Suigetsu!! Sasuke's was DYING!!" Karin replied, making sure not to wake Sasuke up.
"eh?" Suigetsu looked over at Sasuke."Yeah... he really looks like he's dying" He said sarcastically, seeing him simply sleeping on the couch.
" ...nnh..." Sasuke slowly stirred in his sleep, then opening his eyes, not remembering anything of the night.
" Sasuke!!" Karin said ( loudly). " You're alive!!"
" What are you talking about?" Sasuke asked, sitting up.
"That's what I'm sayin' " Suigetsu said, not believing Karin whatsoever.
" you-you, you were dying, Sasuke!!" Karin cried.
" you just dreamed somethin' " Suigetsu said.
" HE WAS DYING!!!" Karin screamed. "RIGHT, JUGO!?!"
Suddenly being woken up by screams sent Jugo into one of his rage impulses. "RRRAAAA!!! I'M GONNA KILL ALL OF YOU!!!" He shouted.
" wait, Jugo!! Stop!!" Suigetsu said as Jugo was changing at him.
" I'M GONNA KILL YOUUU!!!"
The end. Plot armor, they don't die. Sasuke uses his sharingan to calm Jugo down.
