Chapter 22: Dark Fantasy World

(Intro)

Battle Force 10 were in a new Battle Zone. The Swamp Battle Zone. The Battle Key was hovering over a fallen tree that's surrounded by a swamp pool. Just then, the Jetray flew in out of nowhere in Jet Mode and snatched the Battle Key. "Team, I got the key. Let's take it home." Olivia called on the com-link. The rest of Battle Force 10 regrouped with her and headed back towards the Earth Portal. Just then, Zoom heard motorcycle engines from behind. He looked behind him and saw the Dwellers coming at them. "Dwellers! They're getting too close!" He called. "They'll slipstream through the portal if we cross through with them following us." Agura said. "Alright, Battle Force 10, let's take them down." Vert said. The team turned around and prepared to take on their enemies. "Dwellers, keep the mortals distracted. I'm preparing a little surprise for them." Sauron said, holding up a crossbow with a dart holding a dark orange liquid.

As both teams started to engage in battle, Sauron steadied his crossbow and aimed at a certain person. "Gotcha." He said as he saw the perfect aim, pulled the trigger and fired the dart. The dart flew through the air of the battle and hit its target; Stanford. During the battle, Stanford was in battle with Fury. "Nighty-night, fleabag!" Stanford exclaimed, blasting Fury with his sonic blasts. But then, he yelped as he felt something sharp hit his neck. He grabbed it and pulled it out of his neck, seeing that it was the dart. Sauron chuckled. "Dwellers, retreat to Dweller!" He ordered so suddenly. Chuckling sinisterly, the Dwellers turned their motorcycles around and drove back through their portal before closing it. Battle Force 10 was left confused at why they just left. "Uh, why'd they retreat? They didn't even bother to follow us to the Earth portal." Spinner said in confusion. Just then, Agura noticed Stanford rubbing his neck. "Babe, are you okay?" She asked. "Yeah, I'm fine." Stanford said before showing the dart. "Uh, where did that dart come from?" Olivia asked. "I don't know. It was on my neck." Stanford said. "Okay, when we get back to Earth, you need an immediate checkup just in case that dart injected something into you." Vert said, feeling alerted.

As the team returned to Earth and got to the Hub, they brought Stanford to the medical bay as Sage checked his system. "Is Stanford gonna be okay?" Agura asked with worry for her boyfriend. "His system is fine and there's no sign of any symptoms. But just in case, I'll take a blood sample for scanning." Sage said. She took a syringe and took a sample of Stanford's blood. "Alright, Stanford, you're clear to leave the medical bay. But you'll need to be supervised in case of any symptoms." TRINA said. After the team left the medical bay, Agura walked up to Stanford and gently took his hand. "How are you feeling?" She asked. "I'm feeling fine." Stanford assured. "Well, we have to be sure if you show any signs of symptoms." Vert said. "Which is why we'll be keeping you under supervision." Olivia said.

Hours later, the team were doing their daily routines while supervising Stanford. So far, he wasn't showing any symptoms. As night arrived, the team said their goodnights, headed off to their respective bedrooms and tucked themselves into their beds. In Stanford's bedroom, he was preparing to go to sleep, wearing nothing but a white undershirt and periwinkle boxer shorts. Just then, there was a knock at the door. He walked over to the door and opened it, revealing Agura in a light green nightgown. "Agura! What are you doing here?" Stanford asked in surprise, blushing at her when he saw her nightgown. "I was wondering if I could stay and sleep with you tonight." Agura said. Stanford was caught off guard by this. "Uh, why?" He asked awkwardly. "Well, I just want to keep an eye on you in case you show any signs of symptoms." Agura said. Stanford looked at her for a short moment before nodding in understanding. "Alright. You can sleep with me tonight." He said. After letting Agura walk in and closing his door, Stanford brought her over to his bed. "You can take the bed and I'll sleep on the floor." He offered. "No, that's okay. You can take your bed while I take the floor." Agura said. "But I don't want you to sleep on the floor. How about we just sleep in the bed together?" Stanford suggested. Agura felt embarrassed. "Uh, I'm not okay with that because…I've never slept with a boy before. Except with my 5 older brothers." She said. Just then, Stanford grabbed her arms and pushed her to the bed. As Agura landed on her back, Stanford hovered over her. "I said you'll be sleeping with me on my bed. For now, at least." He said. "Alright, I'll sleep with you on your bed tonight, Stanford." Agura said with a sigh. As they settled themselves on the bed, they stared at each other. "This is my first time sleeping with you, Stanford." Agura said. "It's my first time sleeping with you too, Agura." Stanford said. Agura caressed her boyfriend's cheek before they started kissing. As they kissed, Stanford caressed his girlfriend's back. They broke apart before anything more could happen. "We, uh, should probably…get to sleep now. Remember, Vert said that we have training early in the morning." Agura said. "Right. Let's get some sleep." Stanford said. As they got to sleep, Stanford pulled Agura into his arms, giving her a gentle hug.

The next morning, as the clock struck 6 o'clock, Agura yawned as she slowly woke up. She looked and saw Stanford's sleeping face quite close to hers. She giggled softly before leaning to his left ear. "Wakey-wakey, my love." She whispered. But Stanford didn't react as he remained asleep. "Stanford? Wake up. You gotta wake up." Agura said, shaking Stanford gently. But he didn't respond. Out of worry, Agura checked his pulse and, to her horror, felt a weak pulse. "Oh no!" She cried as she got out of the bed and ran down towards the kitchen to get the others.

Meanwhile, in the kitchen, the team was settling down and eating their breakfast that Rayona cooked. "I wonder where Agura and Stanford are. They never miss breakfast." Talia said, noticing that Agura and Stanford weren't at the table. Suddenly, on cue, Agura ran in, almost out of breath from all the running. "Guys, Stanford's not waking up! He has a weak pulse!" She cried. Hearing this, the team abandoned their breakfast and rushed to follow Agura to Stanford's room. As they arrived at Stanford's room, Vert checked Stanford's pulse and felt it was very weak. "We need to get him to the medical bay right now!" He exclaimed. The team rushed to the medical bay with Sherman carrying Stanford in his arms.

As they got to the medical bay, Sage, TRINA and Destina were scanning Stanford's blood sample and the dart. "Team, what's the matter?" Destina asked, noticing the team's presence. But then, she noticed Stanford in Sherman's arms, making her gasp and getting Sage and TRINA's attention as Sherman placed Stanford on the medical bed. Sage checked over Stanford's system. "What happened?" Destina asked in worry. "Well, I was sleeping with Stanford in his room last night so I could supervise him, but when I woke up, he wouldn't wake up and his pulse was really weak." Agura explained. "Sage, have you found out what's causing Stanford's condition?" Olivia asked. "We've been studying his blood sample and the contents from the dart overnight, and we've found out that Stanford's suffering from a Spasmus Cordis." Sage said. "The Spasmus Cordis is one of the rarest and most dangerous diseases in the entire Multiverse." "I know very much about the disease. It causes the patient to have a major heart problem." Destina said. "But why didn't Stanford show any symptoms yesterday?" Agura asked. "After being injected with the Spasmus Cordis, the patient will look perfectly fine. But the next day…the patient is unable to wake up as their heart will slowly start failing until they…die in their sleep." Destina explained. Agura was horrified by this. "Is there a way to cure him?! I don't want to lose him!" She cried. "There is a cure. I scanned the dart and discovered that the Dwellers are capable of creating deadly and most dangerous diseases." Sage said. "You'll have to go to the home world of the Dwellers to find the Spasmus Cordis' creator. They'll likely have the cure for the disease." TRINA said. "How much time will we have before Stanford dies?" Sherman asked. "The Spasmus Cordis will reach its peak within 2 hours before it happens." Destina said

"That'll be enough time for us. Alright, team, we're about to take our first trip into Dweller territory. So, let's get ready and head out." Vert ordered. "Uh, Vert, I'd like to volunteer to stay behind. I can't leave Stanford alone." Agura said. "Zug volunteer to stay too. Master Stanford need Zug by his side." Zug said. "Yeah, I get it. Alright, Agura, Zug, you 2 stay here and look after Stanford. Olivia, go get the key to the Swamp Zone." Vert said. "On it, Vert." Olivia said as she headed off to the Battle Key Vault. As soon as she got the key, the team hopped into their vehicles and drove out to the Salt Flats. "Launch the key, Olivia." Vert said. "One portal coming right up." Olivia said. She launched the key and opened the portal to the Swamp Zone. The team crossed through the portal and entered the Battle Zone. As they drove through the Swamp Zone, they opened another portal to the Dweller home world and entered it.

The team crossed through the portal and entered the Dweller home world. As the portal closed, the team took a moment to look at their new surroundings. The Dweller home world had an eerie dark forest and lights were barely seen within the darkness of the forest. "Whoa…who would've thought to have a fantasy world look so dark and scary." Spinner said as he shivered at the sight of it. "I know about fantasy worlds, but this…is nothing but dark-looking." Grace said. "Alright, enough sightseeing. We need to find the Dweller Village and get that cure." Vert said. "Wait. I've been here before. Once. Back when I was Vandal Warlord, we came for some kind of celebration. I know where the village is." Iguanarox said. "Alright, Iguanarox, you take the lead and bring us to the village." Olivia said. As the team drove off, with Iguanarox leading the way, they were being watched by a group of silhouetted elves from the shadows.

Meanwhile, back at the Hub, Agura and Zug watched over Stanford while Sage, TRINA and Destina supervised his system via the monitor for further spreading of the Spasmus Cordis. Agura sadly stroked Stanford's cheek. "I hope the others get back soon with the antidote. I don't want to lose you again." She said quietly.

[Flashback]

Virgo witnessed with horrified eyes as she watched her lover, Scorpio, impaled from behind with a long sword from an unknown enemy. She watched as he died right before her very eyes.

[Flashback End]

Agura felt tears trinkle down her cheeks. "I'm so terrified. Terrified that I might lose you again to by Spasmus Cordis. But I won't let that happen. Please, team. Hurry back with the antidote." She whispered.

Meanwhile, back in the Dweller home world, the team continued driving through the dark forest as they followed Iguanarox. Suddenly, Iguanarox stopped his vehicle, causing the others to stop in their tracks. "What's wrong, Iguanarox?" Horace asked. "We're here. But we need to stop our vehicles here. We don't want to be spotted." Iguanarox explained as he hopped out of his Spine Crawler. The team got out of their rides and followed Iguanarox. They walked through the undergrowth to stay hidden until they finally arrived at the village. It resembled a witch village. The team saw that it was filled with so many Dwellers. Dark elves, goblins, trolls, werewolves, vampires, so many Dwellers as far as the eye could see. There were 2 dark elf guards at the entrance. "How are we gonna get into the village without getting caught?" Talia whispered. Vert started to think until he thought of a plan. "Okay, here's what we're gonna do." He whispered. "Wait, where's Zoom?" Olivia whispered as she interrupted, noticing that Zoom disappeared. Suddenly, the team heard grunts and groans. They turned to see Zoom standing over the unconscious bodies of the guards, dusting off his hands. Zoom signaled the team that the coast was clear. The team went over to the entrance and entered the village. "Nice work with the guards, Zoom. You snuck up on them perfectly without us knowing." Vert whispered. "Stealth's my specialty." Zoom chuckled.

As the team entered the village, they carefully snuck around within the village without alerting any of the Dwellers. They hid behind one of the makeshift huts. "Iguanarox, is there any Dweller that's capable of creating diseases?" Grace asked. "Well, there is one. Her name is Venomina. Last time I saw her, she was a very deadly Dweller and is known to be very good at creating many types of deadly diseases. Even able to bring extinct diseases back to life." Iguanarox explained. Spinner shivered at that. "She must've been a mad scientist like Hatch." He said. "You have no idea." Iguanarox said. "Do you know where Venomina's hut is?" Vert asked. "I know where it is. But we need to be careful while walking through the village without the Dwellers noticing us. Or else we'll never get out of here if we're spotted." Iguanarox said. Carefully, the team started to head towards Venomina's hut. As they followed Iguanarox, they reached the hut. "We'll need to be careful. I can't be sure if Venomina is inside." Iguanarox said. The team entered the hut, the whole place looked like a lab with disturbing stuff like skeletons hanging from the ceiling like decorations. "This hut feels like we just walked into an evil witch's kitchen." Ivan said. "Tell me about it." Talia said, feeling freaked out as she saw a jar filled with eyeballs. "We gotta find that cure. We only have an hour and a half left with Stanford's life at stake if we don't find it." Vert said. The team searched every room and cabinet in the hut, but couldn't find anything. But then, Zoom spotted something on a work table. There were several papers scattered all over the work table. Zoom walked up to it and looked at the papers. Each of them was labeled with several types of diseases. One of them had Spasmus Cordis written on it. He picked it up and read it. "Hey, guys, I think I just found our cure!" He called. The team hurried over as he held up the paper. Vert took it and read it. "This paper holds the ingredients needed to make the cure for Spasmus Cordis. We just have to find them." He said. "How are we gonna find all those ingredients? We only have an hour and 20 minutes left." Horace asked with a groan. "We still have enough time to find the ingredients, Horace. And we need to go find them right now." Olivia said.

Later, they snuck out of the Dweller Village and rushed back to their rides and drove off back into the forest. "Alright, team, we'll have to split up in order to find the ingredients in time. Zoom and Rayona, you both come with me. Olivia, you take Ivan and Talia. Iguanarox, you go with the Cortez brothers, Grace and Horace. Good luck and be careful out there." Vert instructed. The team split up and drove off with their instructed teams. They hoped they could find the ingredients to make the cure and make it back in time before Stanford dies. But little did they know, the unknown group of silhouetted elves watched them, having been following them since they arrived.

Meanwhile, back at the Hub, Sage and TRINA were still monitoring Stanford's system while Agura and Zug remained by his side. Destina left the medical bay for a short while. Agura sat by Stanford's medical bed, waiting for the team to come back with the cure. She began to worry about Stanford's condition. Time was flying fast. They only had an hour and 5 minutes left. Just then, Destina returned and walked up to Agura. "How's Stanford's condition?" She asked, getting Agura's attention. "His condition's pretty much the same. No other changes." Agura said with sadness. Destina could see how depressed Agura was. "Agura, I have something for you." She said. "What is it?" Agura asked. Destina brought out a small ancient box that held the symbol of the Zodiac. She handed it to Agura, who stared at it. "What's in it?" Agura asked. "Open it and find out." Destina said. Agura opened the box and revealed it to be a necklace with a beautiful emerald gem in the perfect shape of a rose. She was amazed to see this. "Did this belong to Virgo?" She asked. "No. This was a gift from…Zodiac Scorpio." Destina said. "Scorpio?" Agura said in surprise. "You see, Scorpio made that necklace to give to his lover, Zodiac Virgo. However, when the dark forces invaded the Multiverse to take over, Scorpio gave it to me for safe keeping and told me to give it to Virgo in a new life if the Zodiac Guardians should ever fall." She explained. Agura was stunned to hear that. She looked at the necklace before looking back at Stanford, who remained unconscious. She smiled at him before looking back at the necklace as the gem shines, caused by the reflections of the lights in the medical bay.

Meanwhile, back in the Dweller home world, the 3 teams continued to search for the 3 ingredients for the Spasmus Cordis cure. "I got nothing on my end. You guys find anything?" Vert asked through the com-link. "Nothing on my end." Olivia said. "Me neither." Iguanarox said. "Well, we need to keep looking. Stanford doesn't have much time left." Vert said. "Hold on. I think I saw something." Olivia said. "What is it, Liv? Did you find one of the ingredients?" Vert asked. "No. I think something was zipping through the trees." Olivia said. Suddenly, she, Talia and Ivan started screaming before their com-links went to static. "Liv? Liv!" Vert called. "Vert, what's going on?" Iguanarox asked. "I think something attacked Liv's group." Vert said. "Hold on. What the heck is that?!" Iguanarox asked before his com-link went to static too. "Iguanarox? Iguanarox! Come in!" Vert exclaimed. Suddenly, a lone silhouetted figure landed on the Saber, starling him. He slammed on the brakes and stopped in his tracks, forcing Zoom and Rayona to stop too. Vert opened his hatch and drew his sword. "Who are you?! Talk or get slashed!" He exclaimed. "Relax. I'm not here to fight. We're here to help." The figure said, sounding like a young woman. "Why should I trust you? Take off your hood." Vert said. The figure removed her hood, revealing herself to be a beautiful female elf with golden blonde hair. "Forgive me for my startle, Zodiac Aries. My name is Princess Cellica, leader of the Waterlight Tribe." The elf, Cellica, introduced. "You're…a Dweller?" Zoom asked. "No. My tribe's against the Dwellers. Look, there'll be time to explain later. My friends are helping the rest of your team locate the other 2 ingredients. I can help you find the last one." Cellica explained. "Alright. We're short on time. Lead the way, Cellica." Vert said.

Cellica led the team to the ingredient they needed, a rare mushroom. "Alright, team, we got our ingredients. Let's regroup, head back to Earth and hope Sage, TRINA and Destina can mix up the antidote." Vert said. "No. I'm afraid I must insist that you allow us to make the antidote for you." Cellica said. "What?" Vert asked in confusion. "Don't get me wrong. I heavily admire the Sentients, but this is a very specific recipe. It has to be mixed perfectly by a professional healer. Please, come with me to my village. Our healer there can mix the antidote for you." Cellica explained. Vert looked at Zoom and Rayona, who nodded. "Alright. Take us to your village." He said.

A while later, as they followed Cellica, Vert's group arrived at her village. It looked the exact opposite of the Dwellers' village. There were elves, gnomes, pixies, sprites, so many good fantasy creatures. "Welcome to the village of the Waterlight Tribe. My village." Cellica welcomed. Just then, the rest of the team arrived in the village. Everyone exited out of their vehicles and walked up to each other. "Huh, guess you guys had the same situation in meeting these guys." Vert said. "Guess so. But they helped us find the ingredients we needed." Olivia said, showing her ingredient, a glowing lotus. Iguanarox showed his ingredient too, a special herb. "Great. We got all of our ingredients." Vert said, showing his rare mushroom. Just then, Cellica walked up to them with the village healer. "Please, now we have the ingredients, allow our village healer to create the cure for your friend." She said. Vert, Olivia and Iguanarox handed the ingredients to the healer. "I will have your cure made in no time." The healer said as she walked away to her hut.

"I'm surprised. I thought from how Sage described this world, all creatures were part of Sauron's empire." Spinner said, staring in awe at the village. "Not all of us follow the dark path Sauron chose to follow." Cellica said. "Why? Why choose to rebel against Sauron?" Olivia asked. "Because Sauron…is my brother." Cellica revealed. The team was shocked to hear that. "We were the crown prince and princess of this world. You'd never find a more beautiful thriving land in this world. All of us worked together to keep our world thriving for others who sought our needs. But Sauron…he believed that all we do is give. That we get nothing in return. So, he decided to find a way to take instead of give. And he found it. He summoned a powerful dark magic that consumed all of our world. Those who were willing to follow him, he built into his empire. Our father tried to make him see what he was trying to accomplish was wrong, but Sauron…he just ignored his words and…killed him." Cellica explained, shedding tears. The team were horrified by this. "Not long after, he decided to lead his army to conquer the Multiverse. He conjured and built the rides he and his followers use from his dark magic. But there were some of us who resisted his rule. I chose to lead that resistance. But when my brother led his attack against the Sentients, when victory was soon at hand, something stripped his dark magic away from his army. But still, he desired to conquer the Multiverse and find a way to restore his dark magic." Cellica explained. "We won't let that happen, Cellica. We'll stop him from doing so." Vert said.

Suddenly, there was a motorized sound in the air. "No! He's here!" Cellica growled. Just then, Sauron and his army drove up and entered the village. Sauron dismounted his vehicle and stepped towards his sister and his enemies. "Assorting with mortals now, Cellica. And here I thought you couldn't stoop any lower after you abandoned me." He said. "You were the one who stooped low when you empowered yourself in the dark magic and killed our father, you heartless murderer!" Cellica exclaimed angrily. The Dweller army just laughed carelessly. "I trust that if you mortals are here, then Venomina's poison is working its way through Zodiac Scorpio's blood as we speak." Sauron guessed. "Yes. And you're too late, Sauron. We gathered the ingredients and made the cure. And we'll be leaving." Vert said, threateningly. "Oh, I don't believe you will be, Aries. Because I plan to keep you all here and let our poison kill your friend in his sleep." Sauron said. "Not if we can help it." Vert said as Olivia, Iguanarox and the rest of the team walked up and joined him and Cellica. The Waterlight Tribe soon followed. Fidget, Krongo, Fury, Druilla and the Dweller army joined their leader. "Zodiac Aries, leave my brother to me. You and your friends lead my tribe against these monsters." Cellica said. "You sure?" Vert asked. "We trained side-by-side for years. I know how he fights." Cellica said. Sauron chuckled at that. "Kill them." He ordered. The Dwellers roared as they charged to attack.

Iguanarox roared as the team prepared to fight. Vert fired a fire blast from his hand, blasting dozens of Dwellers. Grace fired a water blast, splashing dozens more. Zoom started fighting several Dwellers, knocking them down with his Muay Thai fighting skills. Iguanarox leapt at a few others and struck them down with his wild-style Vandal fighting skills. The Waterlight Tribe fought against the Dwellers, proving to have the superior skills. As a group of dark elves charged towards Rayona, she summoned an army of her mud monsters. "Sick 'em, boys." She commanded. The mud monsters attacked the dark elves, pushing them back. Sauron drew his sword and walked towards Cellica. "I've waited a long time for this, sister." He said. "You lost the privilege to call me that, Sauron." Cellica said, drawing twin blades from her cloak. Sauron chuckled as he took his stance. Cellica shouted as she charged towards him. As he charged towards her, they started clashing their blades. "It's so pathetic to think you could take me on! I was always the better fighter when we were children, and I'm still the better fighter now!" Sauron exclaimed. "Maybe. But I memorized every move you made every time I lost! You didn't beat me! I was learning!" Cellica exclaimed as she pushed back.

Just then, as Sherman knocked out Krongo with a powerful punch, he saw more Dwellers coming towards the village. "Guys, we got more Dwellers incoming!" He called. "How many?" Olivia asked as she kicked Fidget's chin, knocking him out. "Too many! Enough to destroy this whole village!" Spinner exclaimed. "What do we do now?" Rayona asked. Just then, Ivan and Talia stepped up. "Leave it to us." Ivan said. Suddenly, the Zodiac symbols for Capricorn and Aquarius appeared on their foreheads. Ivan motioned his hands and summoned mountain walls, surrounding the village and cutting off the Dwellers from it. "Nice move. My turn." Talia said. She motioned her hands and a giant hailstorm blew at the Dwellers, pelting them with its giant ice balls. "Whoa. You can summon a hailstorm? That is so hot." Ivan said. "We got them now! Let's slug 'em!" Olivia called as she drew her blaster. The team drew their blasters and fired their slugs. The Dwellers shrieked as they were being pushed back.

Meanwhile, as Vert fought off and knocked down 2 ogres, something wrapped around him and started squeezing him. He looked over and saw a pale white beautiful Nagi holding a whip. "So, you must be…Venomina!" He guessed. "Yes. Master of poisons and toxins. Like the Spasmus Cordis that threatens your precious Scorpio, mortal." Venomina said as Vert struggled against her whip. "And now you come into my home, steal one of my recipes and attempt to create the cure? Who do you think you are, mortal?" She asked, angry. "I am Vert Wheeler, leader of Battle Force 10, reincarnation of Zodiac Aries. And you are toast, scale belly." Vert said. Just then, his body became engulfed in fire, burning through the whip. "Impressive. But not so smart." Venomina said, striking Vert with her tail, knocking him out. She hissed in laughter as she slithered over to him. "Now it's time to see how you like being poisoned." She bared her viper fangs, preparing to bite Vert. Just then, she was hit by an aura arrow, knocking her out. It was Zoom. "News flash, lady! I hate snakes!" He exclaimed.

Meanwhile, Sauron continued to duel Cellica. "You know, it's not too late to stop this following the light nonsense and come back to the family where you belong." Sauron said. "I have no family left after you disgraced us by killing our father!" Cellica snarled, pushing Sauron back. Just then, they noticed the Dwellers retreating. "Where are you going?! Get back here, you cowards!" Sauron exclaimed. "It's no good, Sauron! The Zodiacs now have awakened 2 more!" Fidget exclaimed in a panic as he drove off. Sauron looked to see Cellica, the team and the Waterlight Tribe glaring at him threateningly. "This isn't over." Sauron said as he and Fidget retreated. "Victory is ours!" Cellica cheered. The Waterlight Tribe cheered in victory.

Afterwards, the team helped the Waterlight Tribe repair the damages to their village. Just then, the healer walked up, holding the cure. "The cure for the Spasmus Cordis is finished. Take it as a thank you for defending our village." She said, handing Vert the cure. "Thank you. Alright, team, we better get going. There isn't much time left for Stanford." Vert said. "Wait." Cellica said, stopping the team from leaving. "Thank you for everything you've done for our village. And you've shown me that there's hope for a brighter future. I wish to go with you, to join your team." She said. The team and the Waterlight Tribe were shocked by this. "Of course. We always welcome those who believe in hope." Vert said. Just then, the Waterlight Tribe started protesting. "You can't leave us!" A sprite exclaimed. "You're our leader!" An elf added. "SILENCE!" Cellica shouted. The tribe went silent as she shouted. "This is my decision and I choose to go with them." Cellica said. Just then, another she-elf walked up. This was Ryllae, Cellica's best friend. "Then I'm going too." She said. "No, this my choice alone, Ryllae. Listen, the Waterlight Tribe still need a leader. If my brother gets his hands on just one of those Battle Keys and finds a way to reclaim his dark magic, he could destroy multiple worlds without end. It is now your time to lead the Waterlight Tribe, Commander Ryllae." Cellica said as she hugged her best friend and rested her forehead against hers. After breaking the hug, Cellica walked back to join the team. She hopped into the Jetray's passenger seat as the team took off.

Later, the team returned to the Hub, parked in the Deployment Station and quickly headed to the medical bay. "Sage, we got the cure!" Vert exclaimed as they entered. Sage took the cure and brought it to her table. "How's Stanford doing?" Olivia asked. "He looks a lot paler than before." Agura said as she and Zug moved aside, showing that Stanford was looking deathly paler. The team cringed at the sight of him. "His aura's slipping away fast. He's almost at death's door." Zoom said, reading Stanford's aura. "We are ready to insert the cure." Sage said as she walked over with the cure in a syringe. She injected the cure into his arm. The team watched with worry, waiting for the cure to take effect and stop the Spasmus Cordis. Suddenly, Stanford's eyes shot open and he jolted up with a loud gasp. He looked at the team. "Wh-What happened? And…why am I in the medical bay?" He asked in confusion. "Stanford!" Agura cried as she threw her arms around her boyfriend in a tight hug. "Guys, what's going on?" Stanford asked. The team explained everything, including introducing Cellica. "We welcome you to the team, Cellica." Sage said. "Thank you, Sage." Cellica said. "But first, there's one thing we need to do." Sage said.

Later, in the Deployment Station, the team gathered as Sage prepared a new Sentient chip and started building a new vehicle. As her vehicle was built, Cellica was outfitted into an angelic sky blue suit. After a few seconds, her vehicle was complete. It was a 2015 Pit Cruiser motorcycle with an angelic theme. "To complete this upgrade, you must name your vehicle." Sage said. "The Dawn Spirit. Named after an old folklore my brother and I were told when we were young elves." Cellica said. "Welcome to Battle Force 10, Cellica. You are now the team's new fourth-in-command." Sage said. "Thank you. I will do what I can for my team." Cellica said. "We're not just a team, Cellica. We're a family." Vert said. Cellica felt her eyes tear up.

Later, Stanford and Agura stood outside the garage to have a talk. "Stanford, you know how much you mean to me and I almost lost you. Again." Agura said. "I know, luv. But the team managed to get the cure in time. And we gained a new member in the process." Stanford said as he comforted her. "Oh, Stan, there's something I have to show you." Agura said. She took out the box and showed it to him. Stanford was surprised to see it. "Destina gave this to me. She said Scorpio gave it to her for safe keeping and he told her to give it to you to give to me." Agura explained as she handed the box to him. Stanford opened it and sees the necklace. "I remember this. I remember when my past life made this just for his beloved." He said. He took out the necklace and put it around Agura's neck. The gem shined in the sun's light. The 2 lovers smiled at each other before they shared a passionate kiss, sealing their love.
