24. Chapter 23

(Back to Sophie's perspective)

Sophie paced back and forth, they'd already been gone five days. "Of course this had to happen when Alden, Mr. Forkle, and the entire council were dealing with the stupid troll treaties." Everyone was tense as she stood up in front of the crowd of friends and family.

Somehow she was chosen to be in charge of the search party that was being set up. "As you all know Tam and Biana have been M.I.A" "What's Mia?" Keefe interjected. "M.I.A it's a human acronym for missing in action." "What's an ac-ru-name?" Keefe asked. "You know what? Never mind, they are missing! Do you know what that means?!" Sophie said, annoyed. "Really Foster? You think that little of me?" "Look who's having a lovers quarrel." Ro giggled. "Ro!" Keefe yelled.

"Anyway, Tam and Biana have been missing for five days, Linh and Fitz even longer. We have to send out a search party. Anyone who would like to join can sign up with Edaline over there."
