(Switches to Biana's perspective for the first time)

What a weird feeling, death and all. Biana thought. Then again she'd never thought about what death would feel like. As an elf she rarely had to think about death, let alone her own. Not cold but not hot, just a feeling of happiness. A blinding white light shone all around her. It was so bright it would have blinded anyone in a second, but as she looked up it didn't hurt her. She was at peace. Time vanished, she could have floated in the light for minutes or weeks she couldn't tell. Then as if her soul was sucked back into her body the light disappeared and she was stuck in her body once again. Pain gripped her, squeezing every bit of peace she had right out of her. Then she woke.

"Tam!" Biana screamed, jolting up. "Oh goodness, you scared me." A familiar voice said. "Elwin! Thank God it's you. Are they ok?" "Who?" "Tam, Fitz, and Linh. Who else would it be?" "Oh you don't know. They're not here." Elwin said, walking toward Biana. She started balling. "I'm sorry my dear it was only you who came back."
