It was early dawn with Naruto and Haku at the grave of Momochi Zabuza, both having their heads down and hands claps to give a small prayer. While his grave stone had no name or words engraved on it, there was a small ice replica of his sword, Kubikiribōchō, that would never melt to indicate who laid here. When both were done they said their last goodbyes before heading back to the house where the rest of Team Seven should be done packing to head back to the village. It had taken an additional two weeks for the bridge to finish its construction thanks to Naruto and his multiple Shadow Clones helping out. Thanks to the Kyuubi for helping him learn to visualise the amount of chakra he needed for just the right amount of clones, Naruto was making baby steps in his chakra control.

"Thank you for everything, Naruto-kun." Ever since that first night, Haku had sworn to always be beside the man who gave her a new purpose in life. If Zabuza trusted the blonde then so would she, plus, she did find him to be very much attractive and strong, two very important things she desired in a man. Since shearing a bed that night the two had been sleeping together most nights as Naruto did tend to lose himself in training but seemed to not be effective by it at all, his almost endless stamina and endurance had to be one of the greatest mysteries of the world but the ice weirder wanted to put those traits into something besides training. The most she had gotten from him was making out and feeling, not that she minded since his hands always left her weak and satisfied.

"It's no problem, Haku-chan! I promised both you and Zabuza-sama that I would take care of you, and I never break my word!" Naruto for his part had gotten close with the beautiful black haired woman since that first night as it had taken all his willpower not to ravish her sexy body, he had instead settled for kissing and folding her breast and ass and leaving kisses all over her body. They had kept this all to themselves and acted friendly in front of others, Naruto was glad Haku seemed to be mingling with the others except for the Uchiha. Sasuke had made it very clear he had no desire to talk or interact with the ice user who had bested him without a sweat. Back to Naruto, most nights in the past two weeks he was normally out training trying to get control on his new physical and spiritual abilities.

Since none of his clothes fit him anymore, Kakashi had gone into town to buy clothes in his new six foot five muscular frame size, which they had only very few clothes in that size. He was currently wearing a blue shirt with the Nami no Kuni (Land of Waves) symbol on it and black civilian pants that were baggy enough to not interfere with shinobi duties and had no shoes on, which he didn't mind since he enjoyed the feeling of the ground beneath his feet. While he liked the look it wasn't really shinobi material so he was careful when training since he couldn't keep affording to buy new clothes. While he enjoyed the looks he would notice Haku giving him throughout the day, he was surprised to see Sakura also looking at him with a blush every now and then too.

Haku had also gone through a slight wardrobe change as she now wore a black shirt that hugged her body in all the right places and black shinobi pants, a green haori over her shirt and white wrappings around her hands stopping mid forearm. He would sometimes forget just how beautiful she was and felt his mind always wonder to her smile and laugh if he wasn't training. Besides him, Sakura was the only other person who interacted with Haku the most and would often be found talking to the ice user. He never asked what they discussed but he had seen Sakura training a lot more in the last two weeks, so he guessed his teammate asked her for some pointers.

Team Seven along with Tazuna and his family and the majority of the villagers were saying their goodbyes to the Shinobi that had literally given them their freedom. Inari was the most saddened at watching them leave, more specifically Naruto, who had been seen as both an older brother and hero. He had shown him that hard work did always prove itself in the end and saved him from the darkness within the boy's heart, along with saving the village from Gato's tyranny. "It's okay to cry, Inari." Giving the little boy one last hug he walked back to his team and Haku before waving to everyone bye. He was excited to finally go back to Konoha after a month but he was still a little sad at leaving the village, promising himself to come back and visit whenever possible.

"I'm gonna miss this place." Sakura said as the village was getting further and further away. She had enjoyed the time away from the village and seeing the world, actually doing shinobi work was also a nice feeling. While she herself didn't do much, she had witnessed and experienced a lot of what a shinobi actually goes through and while extremely terrifying and stressful, there was a sense of pride at knowing that they made a difference in the world. While the world wasn't all black and white and things didn't always go as planned and successful, she was glad to have become a shinobi and had started taking this career more seriously. 'I may be weak now but I'll get stronger!' This was what she repeated to herself the past two weeks, and had become a motto for her whenever she thought about taking a break or being lazy.

Sasuke was finally glad to be out of that village as it had done nothing for him to get stronger since he could have been training back at his compound. After waking up he had found himself in the house they had been staying at with a few bandages around his body and still pretty low on chakra but he was otherwise good, which only begged the question on what had happened since he had thought he had died after that last volley of needles hit him. Sakura had told him that after falling unconscious, which everyone thought you had died, Naruto had fought Haku and broke free from the jutsu before he stopped altogether and talked. Not long after that did Kakashi-sensei use one of his personal jutsu to give the final strike to Zabuza before Haku appeared in its path, and in a sudden burst of surprise Zabuza was able to push his partner out of the way.

The shock of it all had caused her to lose consciousness right before Gato showed up and sent his army on them. There was a pause as a shudder went down the pinkette's spine at remembering the pure animalistic massacre Naruto unleashed upon them, which she had told Sasuke about before saying how the blonde knocked out Gato and left him for the villagers. The next thing he knew was seeing who looked like Naruto look not like Naruto, but after everyone telling him it was indeed Naruto, it had only pissed him off more. Not only did he get stronger but had apparently unlocked some type of Kekkei Genkai that changed him physically. That power should have gone to him and his quest for revenge, not some dobe who couldn't even pass the Academy's Genin exam the first three times!

Kakashi looked at his team before letting his eyes stray upon Naruto and the ice weirder that has been put in the blonde's charge. He could tell right away after that first night that they had gotten closer and there was a natural connection between. 'From enemies to friends to maybe more...aren't you something special Naruto.' He had gotten Zabuza to show his more humane side and gotten a powerful Shinobi to join Konoha, not many were able to do that and not as a genin either. The Jonin was curious on how not only the Hokage but the entire council would react, knowing the civilian side would be outraged especially now that the boy they all hated had unlocked a Kekkei Genkai. Whatever they threw he was sure the Clan Heads and Hokage would protect him. 'Wonder what kind of changes this will bring?'

Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage as well as being called The Professor, looked upon his private destroyed training ground expressionless. It had been two weeks since she woke up and they had had a long discussion on everything that has happened since October 10th. It had mainly been about her son, Uzumaki Naruto, and how he has been treated and living. Which was the reason his training ground was now and would forever be destroyed, but better than him he thought. Sure a black eye, a large lump on his head and a fractured arm was nothing compared to what she could have done. Watching as a tree was ripped out of the ground and sent flying before crashing right beside him, the last of the destructive sounds finally stopped. "Team Seven should be arriving in a day or two." His voice carried over to her and she smiled excitedly at that.

She stood at a hundred sixty-five cm with long scarlet red hair and vibrant amethyst eyes, her build while still feminine was packed with condensed muscles. She wore a dark blood red shirt that hugged her D-cup breast and showed off her motherly waist and abs, with black shinobi pants that covered her beautifully long strong legs and finishing off with black lightweight combat boots that stopped mid-calf. "Oh, I can't wait to see Naru-kun!" This was the mother of Uzumaki Naruto, and one of the strongest Kunoichi in the Elemental Nations...Uzumaki Kushina! She was so excited to finally see her boy since his birth, to train him and pass on both the Uzumaki and her husband's legacy.

She had fifteen years to make up and Kushina planned on giving as much as possible to her son, not only to make up for lost time and the way he's been living but because he is her son and her son deserves everything he wants! "Upon my son and his team's return, have him go on temporary leave and send him to the Uzumaki compound. He'll be with me for the next month or two where I plan on training him from the ground up." That literally sent terrifying shivers up and done his entire nervous system. "Afterwards you'll set up a meeting with the council to announce that I am alive and taking over both the Uzumaki and Namikaze clan and everything the two own." Hiruzen could already see how pissed the civilian council was gonna get since if Naruto doesn't claim his heritage then it goes to the public which basically means it goes into their greedy pockets but if he can claim and have proof it's his then there's nothing anyone could literally do.

"Also send word to get that perverted bastard and Tsunade to get back here!" That surprised the old Hokage since he hadn't seen one in years and the other was in and out due to his work, he doubted they would come if he didn't give them the real reason why. "There's one more thing since I can already tell you plan on announcing Naruto-kun as the heir to both clans..." Kushina nodded since that had been the plan since there was no else to take over all their knowledge and techniques. "...but he'll need to be put in the CRA since he is the last of two great clans." Amethyst's eyes narrowed at him because she knew very well how women were treated and how most men who have done it are, it was hardly ever a fair and honest relationship. "You don't have to worry, Kushina-chan! Naruto-kun is both respectable and would never treat anyone with disrespect and force them to do anything that wasn't allowed."

Those eyes promised unimaginable pain, but seeing them softened relieved him. "Of course I know my Naru-kun would never do that, it's those who are trying to get their hands on our fortune and techniques of mine and my husband that I worry about!" Her son was the last of her husband and their clans, she would be damned if anything happened to him. Now she just needs to wait two more days and she'll finally, oh so finally, get to meet her son once again. She could hardly stand still, turning around and walking back onto the already destroyed training ground. 'This was my favourite one too!' Hiruzen cried as the sound of destruction was once again heard.

Hiruzen looked at Team Seven and their...extra member, who looked irritated at something that Naruto was trying to tell her was okay. 'Whatever happened, I hope it's an entertaining report.' Looking at Sakura he could feel a shift in her demeanour which he could tell was a good sign, especially the way she now stood and how there seemed to be a bit more muscle on her body. Sasuke was a bit harder to read but he could tell the boy seemed to be angry about something, probably at Naruto given the glare glances he was sending to the former blonde. Speaking of Naruto, he almost didn't recognize him but the blue eyes and whisker marks were a dead giveaway. Looking at Kakashi who didn't look the least bit worried did help relieve him of everything but he was definitely concerned about what happened during their supposedly C-rank mission. "Hatake Kakashi, mission report."

Placing his book away he handed the Hokage a scroll, taking a few minutes to read it. "As the report describes, a few hours after leaving the village we were attacked by the Demon Brothers but my cute Genin was able to do the job. After that Tazuna quickly spilled the true meaning behind his mission request which are stated in the report. Shortly after arriving in Wave we encountered Momochi Zabuza who was hired to kill the bridge builder, a fight ensued between us and I was left temporarily unable to fight for a week." Hiruzen nodded as he looked back and smiled reading the details of the fight between Team Seven and Momochi Zabuza, they were truly a strong team when it came down to these types of situations.

"During the next few days of training and watching over Tazuna and the construction of the bridge, I confess to everyone that Zabuza was not in fact dead but had a partner who was there in case something went wrong." A skilled shinobi who excelled in stealth, medical care and was a Hyōton user which was rare since the whole blood purging. "With extra surveillance we were able to encounter Zabuza and his partner before anyone was killed or injured, followed by a fight." Kakashi had taken to fighting Zabuza while Sasuke took to fighting the masked Shinobi, Sakura watching over Tazuna and Naruto wasn't with them since he had yet to return. When he did return, according to when Kakashi actually noticed, there was a blast of Kyuubi chakra that was felt for several minutes but then completely disappeared.

What he read next made his eyes widen, the Demon of the Bloody Mist sacrificed himself in order to save his partner when they jumped in to protect him. After that Kakashi noticed that Zabuza talked to Naruto before passing peacefully, before his heart clenched at reading about Naruto. He had apparently realized what it meant to be a shinobi and, fueled by his rage, took the lives of almost thirty enemy Shinobi and thugs, before knocking out Gato to hand over to the village. He looked up and saw that the boy seemed to not at all be bothered by it as he watched him hug the black haired girl with a chuckle, curious as she seemed to have a light tint on her cheeks and chuckled with him. The next several minutes felt like years taken from him as he read the next two weeks of their time in Nami no Kuni, knowing he would be done with today after this.

"You have all experienced a lot this past month... take a few days off and your mission pay will reflect that of an A-rank mission." Sakura beamed at that, her first mission out of the village had turned from C-rank to A-rank! Sasuke grunted happily that he had accomplished an A-rank mission but wanted to get this all done so he could go train. Naruto smiled that he would have extra money but there was other stuff he needed to have done before he could relax. "I need to speak to Hatake Kakashi, Uzumaki Naruto and Momochi Haku in private." He sent a smile to Sakura and Sasuke who bowed before exiting the room. Once they were gone he waved for the ANBU there to leave the room, activating a barrier seal and a privacy seal in the room.

"Before anything else..." Turning to look at Haku who straightened up at the being under his attention. "...As Hokage I grant you permission to become a citizen of Konohamaru no Sato with a three month probation period before you can decide to be a Shinobi or not." Haku smiled but wondered if she wanted to go back into the Shinobi field or not, she just wanted to live a good life by Naruto side whether that be as a civilian or a Shinobi. "Naruto, you will be her primary supervisor along with another person." He smiled before asking who would be the other person, thinking it would be his sensei since there were very few people who wouldn't discriminate against Haku not only because she was a former Kiri Shinobi but because of her association with him.

Releasing out a sigh, Sarutobi pulled out a scroll from underneath his desk before holding it out for Naruto to grab. "There's something I have to make clear to you Naruto, just know that I had to do it to protect you." Kakashi's eyes widened at seeing where this was going, there were very few S-rank secrets about Naruto's background, one of them being the Kyuubi no Kitsune and the other... "I did in fact know who your parents were and your mother is alive." This had to be a joke was what he thought but there was not an ounce of a lie on the person he considered his Jiji, a frown turning into a nearly controlled fury. "Old man, you better explain before I do something I may or may not regret!" How dare one of the people he trusted most with his life lie to him for years, and the fact that his mother was alive and not have been in his life! What was even the point in telling him at this point!?

"Your anger is justified at me but you can't blame your mother, she had been in a coma for the last fifteen years and had only woken up two weeks ago. She is actually waiting for you and where everything will be explained." Naruto wanted to demand why the man couldn't explain here and now but feeling Haku grab his hand and smile calmed him down before nodding his head. "Kakashi, you will also be coming as this also concerns you. She is wanting to talk to you about some things." As excited as he was, his face paled at those words, he would rather face Kyuubi than feel her anger. Releasing the seals the four of them made their ways out of the Tower and through the village towards the Clan District.

Citizens looked at the group curiously as why would the Hakage be walking with the Kyuubi brat, a silver-haired Jonin and a beautiful woman. Whispering was soon spread as they were eventually seen walking towards the Clan District before completely disappearing from sight.

Naruto looked at the large doors and he could confidently say he had never seen this place before, and that was saying a lot since he had explored almost every inch of this district in order to escape from his prank victims that happen to be Shinobi. "Place your hand on the door and channel some chakra to it." Following orders Naruto was surprised to see the doors slowly open up to see what looked like fresh pavement leading up to a huge beautiful three story house with another single story building to the left of it. The grass looked to be freshly cut with flowers scattered across the ground along with a few trees and one that had a swing on it that was closest to the house. "She's waiting for you just inside."

Naruto looked at the house before taking a step forward followed by another, the other three following a few steps behind knowing he would need a minute when he saw her. Time seemed to both slow down and speed up, afterall, he had imagined who his parents were and what they looked like more times than he could remember. His father probably had blonde hair and blue eyes like him but took after his mother's personality, he wasn't able to picture it but if he closed his eyes he could see long red hair every time. The old man did say she wanted to see him but would she even recognize him as her son, or what if she was disappointed once she saw him? Would she wrap him in a hug and tell him how much she loved him, tell him that he was everything she wanted and that she was proud of him. Both the positive and negative thoughts were on a loop inside his head as he reached the front door, hand gripping the doorknob.

Taking one last breath he pushed it open to see the entrance hall with a stairs to the right and a room entrance to the left. The floor looked like brand new hardwood and the walls were a beautiful peach colour. Taking a step forward since he was the only one without shoes, he walked towards the entrance and saw it was a living room and that the long red hair he saw when he closed his eyes sat there on the couch facing the opposite way. She sat on a three seat couch with two two seat choices on the left and two single seat couches on the front. "K-kaa-san?" Naruto asked hesitantly and he could tell she hadn't heard them by the small jump before standing up and turning around, finally seeing his mother's face in all its beauty.

Long scarlet red hair, vibrant amethyst eyes and a heart shaped face, she had a small scar on her left cheek. "Kaa-san?" He said with more assurance. She finally saw him, his mix of blonde and red with bright cerulean blue eyes, bold and defined whisker marks on his checks. "Naru-chan?" It was a surreal feeling that while Naruto had waited fifteen years and Kushina just being awake for two weeks, they felt like it had been forever since they had ever seen each other. Quickly they embraced each other in a tight hug, Naruto face in her neck and her chin resting on top of his. He was taller than her but with their current position, it made it a lot easier for it. "All I ever wanted was to see my parents and I finally have!" Naruto said still in her neck as tears slid down his cheeks and a smile on his face. Kushina chuckled before kissing his forehead. "You have definitely grown my baby boy! How I wished I was there with you all these years... I'm so sorry I wasn't there when you needed me!"

Naruto shook his head. "It wasn't your fault, there was nothing you could've done to prevent all this." Standing up he wiped his tears and smiled brightly at her, and Kushina could see her husband in the smile.

Naruto now sat beside his mother with Haku beside him, Kakashi and Hiruzen on the single seats in front of them. "I'm sure the Old Man told you that everything will be explained once you get here, and I promise to explain everything that happened that October night." Kushina took a deep breath as while it may have been fifteen years ago it had felt like it happened yesterday. "Everything had gone to plan all day as I knew I was expecting that day, but the moment you were born... he showed up!"

Flashback no Jutsu

"AAAAHHHH!! DAMN YOU MINATO!!!" Echoed a feminine voice that sounded like she was experiencing unimaginable pain like no other. Said female had long scarlet red hair with amethyst eyes and fair skin. She was wearing a light green hospital gown surrounded by several female nurses and her husband, who was having his hand squeezed in a death grip and wondered if it would be there after all this. "It's...it's okay...Ku..Kushina!" Minato had short spiky blonde hair and blue eyes, dressed in a dark green shirt with a green armoured vest and baggy pants. While known to be one of the strongest Shinobi in the world, he was currently in a lot of pain and wished it would end for both of them. "AAAAAAHHHHHH!! WHY IS HE NOT OUT YET!!"

"I see the head, Kushina-sama! Just one more push and..." The midwife's voice stopped as a loud crying was heard from the new child, looking healthy and cute with a blonde truffle of hair on its head. With his hand now free Minato carefully held his son in his arms, a smile and a heartfelt chuckle escaping his mouth. Bringing him over to his wife and gently laying their child in her arms, he couldn't help himself from saying the pleasant obvious. "We're parents!" It was such a surreal feeling for the both of them but one that felt so right, as if they were finally complete. Only their joyous moment was soon brought back to the curl reality they lived in.

Flashback no Jutsu

Naruto's eyes widened at the news that his father, Namikaze Minato, was also the Yondaime Hokage and the fact that he wasn't able to connect how similar they looked till now! He looked at Hiruzen and realized that there was a very good reason as to why but it didn't stop the hurt that the man still lied about not knowing who his parents were...at all! "We never were able to get a good look of him as he wore an orange spiral mask with only one eye being shown but we could tell he was an Uchiha but his hair and the fact that he had the Sharingan." Sarutobi and Kakashi were surprised to hear that since this was the first time they were able to get a bit on what had happened that night. Kushina told them that while Naruto was in her hands, he had disappeared and reappeared in his arms where he held a kunia up to baby Naruto's throat.

Flashback no Jutsu

"Now you have a choice, Namikaze Minato... do you save your newborn son or run away with your wife?" Minato glanced back at Kushina who looked in his eyes, the two of them sharing the same thought and without a second to spare the older blonde made his move. Throwing a three pronged kunai at the masked man, he disappeared before appearing over him and making a swipe for his son but felt his leg phase through the man. With his son in his arms he disappeared from the area leaving just the red head and the man. "Uzumaki Kushina, you have something I so very much need." He walked over to her, his arm stretched out and grabbing hold of her hair roughly. Cursing her weakened state, she was unable to stop herself as they disappeared and she fell unconscious.

Waking up she felt herself being held on to a large rough surface with chains around her wrists and ankles. Kushina let out several curse words at the masked man who only stared at her humorously. "Do not worry Kushina, this will all end in just a few minutes." With his hands raised he slammed it on her abdomen shouting Release followed by a dark red chakra flooding out from her and shaping it into a large fox with nine tails. The moment it took a solid form its eyes locked onto her before the man, too late to realize it had sealed its fate under his control. "Even the mighty Kyuubi is no match for the Sharingan... and neither are you. Kill her." Watching as the fox raised its paw and smashed the spot the Uzumaki was in he let out a chuckle. "You really are as fast as a flash..."

Taking the Kyuubi, the two of them vanished once again from sight as Minato held Kushina in his arms before the two of them disappeared, appearing in a room that held their son sleeping on the bed. "Stay here, I'll deal with the rest." Before Kushina could say anything he vanished and she let tears fall, placing her head against her baby boy praying to whatever god was listening to help them make it through this. She laid there for several minutes taking in everything she could about him, finding that he was a perfect mix of the two of them and she wanted to cry. This was supposed to be her happiest day without someone trying to steal the Kyuubi and destroy the Village, and here she was unable to help her husband and only look at the sleeping form of their handsome child.

"My handsome baby...I promise we will protect you with our lives." She closed her eyes as more tears fell from her eyes, trying to not imagine a life where neither she or Minato was in, one where he didn't have to grow up all alone and wondering if his parents ever loved him. She wanted to be the one to send him off to the academy, see him play and get into fights... to tell him how proud she would also be and that she loved him with all her heart. Kushina could already tell that he would look so much like her husband more than anything, and probably inherited her personality which wasn't necessarily a bad thing. That got a chuckle from herself. She wanted to see the day he brought over his first girlfriend and to embarrass him in front of her, how she would have tons of stories and pictures of him as he grew up.

Her thoughts were cut off when Minato appeared looking like he was in a scuffle, a few torn pieces from his clothes and several cuts littered his body. "How is everything, Minato?" She hoped it was all over when he came back but there was a look on his face that told her it wasn't done yet. He looked deep into her eyes and gave her a small genuine smile, knowing if this was where he would die then he would do anything to protect these two here. "I was able to drive the man away but the Kyuubi is still on a rampage outside the village, and without a way to permanently get it away from the village we will need to reseal it away." Kushina knew she wouldn't survive if the Nine Tailed Fox was resealed inside her, it would put too much stain on her already weakened state and damage her chakra coils in the process. There was only one way to seal a Bijū away and he hoped he wasn't about to do what she thought, but it was her clan who the Fox trusted enough to be sealed into and it was her clan's responsibility to take care of this situation.

"I don't want to do this either, Kushina-chan, but no other children would be able to handle the amount of power of the Kyuubi like the Uzumaki's. I'm sorry that I have to do this and if you want to hate me, then you can hate me while raising our son." Watching as he walked to them and grabbed him, she put her hand on his to stop everything. Kushina knew he was right about everything but the last part, she could never hate him for doing the right thing, even if it meant he was hurting him and her in the process. "We do this together, and we'll both survive and raise our son." Even if he wanted to protest he knew his wife would make her way toward the battle, so all he could do was release a sigh and nodded his head. Grabbing her hand he slowly helped her up, using his body to hold her up.

"Are you still able to use your chains long enough to hold it down?" Kushina nodded her head, having enough chakra and stamina to use her Adamantine Chains for one minute. Next thing she knew they were on the far Northern side outside the Village, a giant toad three/fourth the Kyuubi's height was in battle and was barely holding its ground against the said fox. Placing their blonde newborn on a flat stump Minato gave his wife one last kiss which held all his love for her. "It's still under the control of the Masked Man even after he left so we can't talk or reason with it anymore, so once I can grab its attention you hold him down and I'll take care of the sealing. Kushina nodded as she watched her husband send the giant toad away with a loud puff of smoke before dark grey clouds circled above where Minato and the Kyuubi were at. Raiton: Amenoikazuchi! (Lighting Style: Heavenly Lighting!)"

There was a loud bang as a large lighting bolt shot down from the sky hitting the fox, who let out a more angry roar than one of pain before looking at the man who did it. Seeing as it had its attention on Minato, Kushina summoned a dozen white chains from her back and sent them towards the Kyuubi, wrapping around its tails, around its head to its body and its paws before the chains dug deep into the ground and effectively holding down the Mighty Kyuubi. "I can only hold it for a minute!" She yelled to Minato who wasted no time as he went through several hands seals before finishing and slamming his hand down. "Shiki Fūin!" Amethyst's eyes widened in surprise as she had no idea he knew about that particular Fūiinjutsu, as they both saw a large transparent creature appeared in the form of the Shinigami. Everything was a blur as she looked in disbelief knowing this was really the last time she would be with the love of her life.

The next thing she knew was that the Kyuubi had gotten one of its paws free and sent it towards their child, and without thinking or hesitation both Kushina and Minato dove in front of the claw, stopping it cemeteries away from him. In the process Minato had taken the majority of the claw as it pierced through his chest, while Kushina was a little more lucky while as it had pierced her back it hadn't gone completely through and had stopped halfway, missing all her vital organs and hitting her left lung. It was extremely painful but to know her son was alright was worth every second of pain, and she had nearly caught the last words from her husband. "I'm sorry Kushina..." placing his hand on her back, he whispered something too low for her to hear but what she did notice was her vision starting to turn blurry. "I won't be with you as you raise our son..." Kushina tried to stay awake but she was finding it impossible and before she completely blacked out she heard his last words. "But I know you can do it because I love you..."

Flashback no Jutsu

"The next thing I know is waking up and seeing the old man standing in the doorway." Even if she wanted to cry and shout her frustrations out but that would be for another time, she needed to see what has changed and to raise her son. Naruto looked down at the floor deep in his thoughts, especially about the part where someone had known the exact location of his birth to get the Kyuubi. Plus the fact that it was an Uchiha with a strong Sharingan that was able to control the strongest of all Bijū, it made Naruto wonder what this person's true goal really was. Pushing those thoughts to the back for now, Naruto grabbed his mothers hand and gave her a gentle squeeze and a soft smile. "Don't worry, you're here now and it's never too late to be the mother you always wanted to be.

Kakashi couldn't help but be extremely joyous for his student, for a moment since the whole explanation he had forgotten the unknown reason as to why he was here. "Thank you and I promise to be here for you." That was before a chill went down his back and he saw the look in her eyes, one that promised pain if he lied or tried to play this off. "I can understand why the Old Man didn't say anything to Naruto but at least he was there for him a little... Where were you, Kakashi?" How was he able to say that he was grieving at the lost of his sensei he saw as a father than the loss of his last teammate by his own hands, which had made him to scared to try any attempts to get to know his sensei's son and kept to a distance when he wasn't on missions. That everytime he saw Naruto he saw his own weakness at knowing he failed the boy in more ways than one but that he only became a Jonin sensei so he could train him in order to form some form of bond. There was no good explanation and he knew instead of running away he should have at least let the blonde boy know he was there if he needed someone.

"I have no excuse as to why I wasn't there for Naruto. When news of both of you and Minato- sensei death, I was racked with grief that I had just dove myself into every mission I could get and the moment I was finally ready to move on... Rin-chan..." Kakashi hid his eye with his hand, as that painful memory would never leave him. "After Rin's death I was too scared to make a connection to him, afraid that he too would suffer if I was by him like everyone else. So I watched him from a distance whenever I wasn't on a mission or wasn't busy with my Shinobi duties. Which was why I became a Jonin sensei, so that I could be there for Naruto now and face the past so I can move forward." Looking up he directed his attention to the blonde who was shocked at what he was hearing. "I'm so sorry that I wasn't there when you needed me and I was gonna wait to tell you everything when you became a chūnin. I understand if you don't accept but I hope you will still allow me to be your Jonin sensei if nothing else."

Naruto thought about his time being on Team Seven and while there were ups and downs, he could remember when the silver haired Jonin was there for him during training and outside of it if only to see if he wanted to talk about anything or getting some food. "It will take some time but you seem to have gone through a lot with losing your team in my youth... but I am a member of Team Seven and I don't plan on changing that anytime soon." Kakashi let out a breath he didn't know he was holding and sent a genuine smile to him. Naruto then looked at the old man and didn't know how he felt. He had looked in his eyes and lied about his parents to him, but he could understand seeing as there were powerful people who held a grudge against his parents that would no doubt kill him or turn him into a mindless weapon. Hiruzen sighs as he knew it was finally his turn to speak, but he was cut off from Naruto. "I understand why you didn't tell me but why did you lie about not knowing them? There were so many times I wondered if they were alive or not, and even if you said they were dead then I would have at least known they hadn't abandoned me like this village tells me!"

"I'm sorry Naruto, I really am. I wanted to tell you so many times that it hurt me to lie to you, but I couldn't trust that someone could be listening in on us. After that night, where not even the ANBU guards knew what was happening, someone had found out and we still have no clue how. I feared that if I admitted to knowing them that they would assume you knew something, and there are people in this village who know this and have been waiting in the shadows to capitalize on it." No one would know how many times he had to physically restrain himself from getting rid of people who wanted to use Naruto for their own greed, from on and off the council and especially one person in particular. He was just happy that no one knew about Kushina as when they found her she had actually been presumed dead, but he had seen her finger twitch and had figured that something was keeping her from waking up and causing her to be in an almost dead like state. "It's gonna take me some time, is all."

Talk soon started to venture onto more relevant conversations, mainly about the newest member of the Village. Kushina could already tell this young woman was in love with her son, and since she had from the very beginning had this look in her eyes since they entered the house. She would tackle this later as she would now be living with them for the next three months and maybe longer depending on the relationship her son and this woman have. Kushina listened as Hiruzen explained that she and her son would be supervising her, so if she acts up then it falls on them, with weekly reports on how she has been acting and living. There weren't many restrictions since Haku would be allowed outside as long as one of them was with her unless it's an emergency situation that dictates she leave their sights, and wasn't prohibited from training or asking for training from other shinobi. Once that was cleared up Kushina took to announcing the last bit of news, of course Hiruzen knew and had stayed quiet.

"Onto the last bit of news... I will be training my son for the next two months privately in the walls of this place." Naruto didn't know who many times he was going to be surprised but this was the second best one at that, the first being his mother still alive and loving him. Kakashi wasn't really all that surprised but he was worried about what would happen to his team since they needed a four man squad to take most missions, but one look from the Third Hokage told the Jonin everything was already taken care of. "I'm not gonna steal him from you, I just want to spend some time with my son and to give him the training he never got from me or Minato." It wasn't like the silver haired Jonin could deny this as it was pointless in front of one of the strongest shinobi still alive and because this was the right thing to do for Naruto. He had a legacy to carry and if he wanted to get stronger to achieve his dreams than this was a must, at least Naruto would still be part of his team after the two months and it would give him more time with his other two genin to train.

"It's not like I can stop this, just promise me he'll come back alive and safe." Kushina promised he would come back alive and stronger, which didn't seem to catch on to Naruto but Kakashi gave him a quick silent prayer. With business all done, both Kakashi and Hiruzen departed but Naruto stopped the old man and asked what the scroll was for exactly. He explained that this was the scroll that was supposed to be given to him when he became a chunin or when he turned eighteen, but felt like this was the best moment and he could do with it what he wanted. It was sealed with a blood lock so only those registered would be able to open it with a drop of their blood. With that it was now just the three of them, Naruto deciding to put the scroll away for now till he was ready. "What now?" He asked and a shiver went down his spine and deep within him a shiver went down the fox as well.

"Now...Now we train."

That wraps up the second chapter of 'An Uzumaki Legend' and Kami help me was this exciting to write as I've doing stuff I've never done before and I'm so happy about furthing my writing. I'll also be answering questions and comments that will explain what it's about.

Let's recap first! Team Seven are back in Konoha and with Haku who wants to just by Naruto side. Naruto meeting his mother and them having a small reunion, with a flashback on what happened that night within her perspective so we don't know Minato side of the events yet. We got to see Kakashi and Hiruzen explain themselves as to why they never interacted with him and why he lied, mainly because them just wanted to protect the boy. I tired to make it emotional but also to weren't makes it to where they also thought about it logically in why they did what they did.

Now to answer some comments/questions. This is indeed a harem story with 13 females/women being with Naruto and Kushina is not one of them. There will be lemons and heavy teasing in later chapters, which could take up a whole chapter to half a chapter depending where it goes.

Harem List

Anko, Ayame, Fū, Haku, Hana, Hanabi, Hinata,

Ino, Karin, Kin, Sakura, Shion, Temari

Next chapter will be heavy on Naruto's Training with Kushina with scenes with Team Seven and the other Genin. This will consist of either one or two chapters, so hold on as there will be a lot of explanations, Naruto getting his ass kicked by Kushina and exciting fights.

Things are about to get interesting so stayed tuned and like always, Favorite, Follow and Comment...

...Until Next Time...
