A man huffed and puffed heavily as he climbed the steps up to the Monastery Of Spinjitzu. Breathing heavily as he tried to regain his breathing. He walked up to the gate doors and reached up to knock.
XxXxXxXxXx
Inside the hallway. Chantal and Geo stood, Chantal's arms are folded as Geo's hands are on his hips.
"So, let me get this straight." Chantal starts. "All of this." She waved a hand around the destroyed room. "Over a game of Tic-Tack-Toe? The most boring game of all time?"
"And tried to make it Less boring!" Spitz said cheerfully, but it faded at her look and he lowered his head. "I'm sorry."
Suddenly Mr. Frohicky came into the room. "Mis Chantal, there is a visitor for you." He said, making her frown.
"For me?" She turns back around. "Wu." She points at him. "Room. Now." Her voice left no room for argument.
"Yes ma'am." Young Wu turns and sulks out.
"Geo, I don't have charge of the Finders."
"Oh, don't worry. I promise I'll talk with them."
XxXxXxX
Chantal followed Frohicky into the main room. She gasped loudly when she saw a familiar man, sitting in a chair but he stood up when he heard her.
"Uncle?" Chantal asked in a shaky whisper.

Cole, Zane, Bonzle, and Lilly walked up to the gates of the Monastery. "Why do I feel like we're home?" Lilly asked.
"It makes no since that our Monastery is way out here." Cole replied. He turns to Zane. "How is this even possible?"
Lilly pushes open the gate doors and they walk into the courtyard. "Because this isn't our Monastery." Zane answered.
"But." Lilly frowned. "That can't be!"
Cole whistled. "From the outside it looks exactly the same. But in the courtyard, pretty different."
"For real." Bonzle replied. "As if someone liked your crumbly old monastery so much, they were like 'I'll have my own, please.'" That earned her looks from the Ninja. "I mean, your nice monastery."
Cole gave her a look, then looked around. "If Mysterium is a land of magic, could this be an illusion or something?" He asks.
Zane looked around. "Scans confirm its solid existence." He turns to the skeleton. "Bonzle, the Sorceress created you here?"
"In roughly this spot. But there was no building here then." She looked around. "The Sorceress is probably long gone." She pauses. "If she'd even remember or recognize me."
"After the Merge." Zane began. "I awoke inside a strange second monastery under Imperium." He explained as he looked around. "Something I have not yet been able to explain." He finished as he walks up the dragon statue to look at it.
"And now we have a third monastery." Lilly frowns. "Is there a pattern that none of us know about?" She asks.
"Everybody! Over here!" Cole calls, the three turn to see Cole standing by a crack in the wall.
"Did you find something dad?" Lilly asks.
"Yes. Look at this." Cole gestures to the crack which is strongly shaped like a bowl of noodles.
"A crack in the wall?" Bonzle asks. "So?"
"Long time ago, back in our Monastery, Jay and I got into fight because he was being totally annoying and I was completely blameless." Cole starts, smiling at the memory. "Anyway, during this fight, we broke the wall. Making that shape."
Cole and Jay thought it looked delicious." Zane added. "They got hungry, stopped the fight and went to Skylor's Noodle House together."
"That's the weirdest way to end a fight I've ever heard." Bonzle said.
"It really happened." Lilly said with a nod.
"The point is, that's the exact crack we made!" Cole points to the wall.
"But how could this monastery have the same cracks in the walls as our monastery?" Zane asked.
"I don't know, but it's making me hungry." Cole said with a small smile, then it faded. "Agh! I wish that bone head Jay was around. Who knows what happened to him after the Merge." As he added that Master Wu's golden orb floated up to them, then flew to away and towards the Monastery door. "You saw that too, right?" Cole asked, placing a hand on Zane's shoulder.
"We have witnessed simmer unexplained phenomena at our Monastery. The post-Merge world has so many mysteries." He turns a little. "If someone would arrive and tell us everything we need to know." He pauses when he saw something that caught his eye. "Cole, I believe you'll like this."
"Huh?" Cole turns around to find what Zane is looking at. "Eleanor?" He breathed in a whisper. Sure enough up ahead is Eleanor Borg-Brookestone. She is currently wearing a pale yellow t-shirt with light blue jean shorts, her once long raven hair is short just brushing her shoulders.
"Eleanor!" Cole beamed, and bolted, sending both Zane and Bonzle in whirling spins. "Ellie!" He ended up getting a broom to the face, sending him stumbling backwards and falling onto his butt. "Ow!" He cried as he rubbed his nose.
Eleanor turned and rushed into the building behind her.
"Eleanor!" Cole shot up and bolts towards the Monastery's doors, only for her to slam the doors in his face. "Oof!" He fell backwards and landed on his back. Rocky - his first dragon flew in gently circles above him. Until Lilly appears above him upside down.
"Does mom have amnesia? Or something?" She asks with worry.
"Hmm." Zane hummed. "Eleanor is definitely showing the signs."
Lilly's shoulders slump. "How does that work?" She asks. "How does she wake up from it?"
"That will be up to Eleanor." Zane answered.
Cole sat up. "Well." He turns to the Nindroid. "How did Eleanor and Lloyd save you from your amnesia?" He asked, now pushing himself to stand.
"That was a different situation."
"What?" - Cole's question is cut off when the Monastery door burst open with sparks of gold and the golden orb as a woman wearing funky clothing stood there.
"Hi! Oh, you have no idea how glad I am to set eyes on you!" She places a hand under the golden orb. "Sprite told me you finally got here."
The Ninja stare at her.
"I am Gandalaria, the High Sorceress of Mysterium." Her glasses slide off her face and she pushes them back up. "And I have awaited your coming for quite some time. This will change everything!"
XxXxXxXxXx
The Ninja continue to stare at the Sorceress. "Now, pay attention. This is very important. I'll need 20 stripped ones, 5 red betties, and two extra slimy." She chuckled.
"What?" Lilly cocks her head.
"I am sorry." Zane apologies. "We do not understand."
"What?" The Sorceress asks. "What's not to understand? Oh! And do you have any with wings? I could really use some with wings."
"Some what with wings?" Cole asked.
"Slugs of course! Aren't you the traveling slug merchants I've been waiting for?"
"Slug Merchants?" Cole repeats. "But you said our arrival would change everything thing."
"Uh, yeah." The Sorceress said in a duh tone. "I've been very low on rare magic ingredients for like weeks now, and a really good set of slugs would change all that!"
"Slugs are pretty cool, actually." Bonzle said.
"For a dead guy." Lilly muttered.
"Perhaps, yet we have none to sell." Zane said.
"Ah, bummer." The Sorceress slumps her shoulders. "Well, what am I going to do now?" She throws her arms out before smiling. "Would you all mind if I." She bounces towards Zane. "If I turn you into slugs?" She asks as she holds up a bottle.
"We would mind!" Cole said, grabbing Zane and pulling him back. "Very, very much!"
The Sorceress shakes her bottle. "Are you sure?" She asks. She suddenly pops up between Cole and Zane. "Because you'd make really groovy slugs." She moves around the group. "I can tell just by looking at." She turns, looking at Bonzle and loudly gasps as her glasses fall down her face again. "It's you!" She cried, pushing her glasses back up on her face. "My dearest! You've come home!" She comes up to Bonzle and cups her face.
"You … you recognize me? Even in my boney physical form?"
"Oh, I would know your true essence anywhere!"
"I was so afraid you wouldn't accept me for who I am now."
"Are you kidding?" The Sorceress asked as the golden orb floats beside her. "I put my heart, my soul, into every spell I weave. And even though spells usually fade away after use. I always hoped you would be different." She comes up to Bonzle. "The most complex spell I've ever woven." She grabs a startled Bonzle into a tight hug. "And the first of my creations soever come back to me! Oooh!" She continues to hug Bonzle, who soon returns the hug.
Lilly wipes her eyes, and Cole wraps his arm around her.
XxXxXxXxXx
"Ah, Sorceress?" Lilly asked. "Um, ma'am?"
The Sorceress pulls away from Bonzle and turns to her. "Please, call me Gandalaria."
"Of course." Cole nods. "Gadull - Gandollar, uh." He trails off not able to pronounce her name.
"Ma'am, we came because we gotta protect Bonzle." Lilly said, coming up to her father's side. "Stay Wolf Mask people are after her so their Lord Ras can unleash evil on the Merged lands."
"OK, now I might've been getting a little slow on the uptake for the last couple of hundred years. But what's a Bonzle?" The Sorceress asks. "Or a Lord Ras?"
"I'm Bonzle." Bonzle points to herself. "That's the name I chose when I became a person."
The Sorceress turns to smile at her. "Well, that's a splendid name."
Bonzle beamed, until Zane started to speak.
"Lord Ras is a villain we Ninja have faced before. He is determined to free the Forbidden Five."
"The foes I created Bonzle to banish?" The Sorceress questioned.
"Exactly." Cole nods.
"Ah, pfft, then no problem. They're gone, exiled, never to able to return."
"You're certain?" Lilly asked.
"You're cute child. But yes! I am. First off, it'd take a whole complicated ritual that no one remembers how to do. And second, it could only be done under a Blood Moon. And those happen like once a Millennium!"
Cole and Zane look at each other, then turn back around. "It appears w have bad news." Zane said. "The details of the ritual were rediscovered by Lord Ras from the Cloud Kingdom archives."
"And the Blood Moon is coming soon." Cole added.
"Oh. Oh!" The Sorceress' cheerfulness disappeared. "Yes, that does change things. If this Ras times it right. Reversing the power of the spell - uh Bonzle here - I suppose he could very well free the Five."
"And from what we understand, if they get loose, they could conquer everything." Cole states.
"Conquer!?" The Sorceress repeats. "More like obliterate! You mustn't allow them to be free!"
"We were hoping you would be able to help us keep Bonzle safe from Lord Ras." Lilly said.
"Until the Blood Moon passes." Zane added.
"Before I moved into this new place, I used to wander the lands. I keep most of my materials in storage."
"So you have nothing to help us with?" Lilly asked.
"Well, not here, but I certainly do in my storehouse. It's in a land called the Wyldness. It'll be quite a journey on foot."
"Good news." Cole smiled. "We've got our fastest dragon parked right outside."
"Oh!" The Sorceress claps. "How delightful! I haven't ridden on dragonback for a century!" She twirls, just as a loud knock hits the gates.
"Did the Wolf Masts follow us?" Cole asks.
"I do not believe they would knock." Zane said with a shake of his head. "However, it would be wise to discover who is outside before we open that gate." He moves towards the gate.
"Bonzle." Lilly moves to her and pulls out a device from one of her pouches. "Stay close."
"No a problem."
"If it's a snail merchant, ask about the ones with wings." The Sorceress told Zane as he climbed a ladder.
Zane pokes his head above the roof. "Unfortunately it is not."
"Then who's making that racket?" Lilly asked as she starts to climb the ladder, followed by Cole, and the Sorceress floats up thanks to the golden orb.
A man with sunglasses stood outside, with a Serpentine snake and others and some with Mechs. "Attention! My name is Agent Roderick Allen, and this is my partner, Agent Underwood." He spoke like he was trying to read a script. "By the all encompassing authority of The Administration, we hereby demand you open this door!"
"Not a chance, block head!" Lilly yelled.
"We're after the stolen equipment known as Zane." The Serpentine added. "Who illegally fled from us!"
"Why don't you pencil pushes shove off and into a blackhole!?" Lilly demanded. "No one's taking my uncle!"
Zane nervously turns to Cole. "Cole, have I mentioned that I was briefly kidnapped by a society of bureaucrats from the Land Of Madness who forced me to work in their mail room where I introduced efficiencies that raised delivery accuracy by nearly 9 percent?"
"Are you serious?" Cole asks.
"Yes!" Zane nods a little eagerly. "Nearly 9 percent. I feel I could have gotten it to 10. But Lloyd and Arin rescued me before I could finish."
"Bureaucrats? Pfft!" The Sorceress places her hands on her hips. "Probably wouldn't even make good slugs then."

Kai turns into his Spinjitzu and goes through a course, before he fails and land under a branch. "This is impossible!" He lifts a fist. "It's too much!" He punches the branch above him and is engulfed by smoke.
"Did I not tell you it would be impossible? Rising Dragon Technique is not for those lacking in spirit."
Kai pushes himself out from under the branch and pulls off his hood. "Who are you saying lacking spirit? Me? Oh, you better not be talking about me."
"So quick to anger. It is no surprise you cannot find harmony with the universe's motion."
"Uh." Nya turns around to look up at the two dragons. "What if we did this drill together?" She asks as Kai walks up to her.
"What?" He asks in surprise.
His sister ignores that. "You say Rising Dragon Technique is about finding harmony with everything. Which means harmony with each other, right?"
"It does."
"Well, let my brother and I try this together."
"That is unprecedented. But I don't have a problem with it. Though it will most likely end in failure."
The Smith siblings turn to walk back to the start of the drill. "What are you doing?" Kai asks Nya. "I can do this myself, Nya."
She stops and grabs his elbow, pulling him back so he was facing her. "So far, you're doing better then any of us. But I know what's holding you back."
"What?"
"You! Stop thinking about you. And not just you, it's Skylor and Raya. And start thinking about Counter Shot."
"The game we name up in dad's Blacksmith shop?" Kai smiled a little. "Wow, miss those days. Just fun, not having to worry about saving the world." His smile disappears.
"And who was your best Counter Shot partner?" Nya asks, nudging him.
"Begin!" Egalt called.
The siblings do Spinjitzu, going through the drill. Kai successfully completes the drill, turning into a fire dragon and flying high in the air, before roaring and landing on the ground with his eyes glowing.
Kai gasps as he pulls off his hood. "I did it!" He cheers. "I did!" Nya jumps into his arms and he swings her around in circles. "Nya, thank you so much!" He cheers. "You were so right!" He ads as he sets her down.
The other Ninja hurry up to congratulate Kai.
XxXxXxXx
The following morning. The Ninja, Egalt stand on the steps.
"Kai is now officially a Third Fang Ninja."
"When you first arrived, I was skeptical." Egalt replies. "But I had become old and third with inspiration. And it was clear I misjudged you. You are worthy students. And have given this old dragon the spark of hope. That Rising Dragon Technique will be passed on." As he spoke, the sun was slowly rising.
Arin quickly noticed. "What's wrong with the sky?"
Everyone turns to look, and a fearful Lloyd gasps. "No!"
XxXxXxXxXx
In Ninjago, everyone looks up at the sky with concern.
XxXxXxXxXx
At Mysterium, Bonze is quick to notice it. She turns to Cole. "The Blood Moon is here."
Cole turns to look behind him.
XxXxXxXxXxXx
Back with the other Ninja.
"Come on!" Lloyd urges. "We don't have time to waste! Help the rest of us learn how to do Rising dragon Technique!"
"We cannot. I'm sorry. We hoped to have more time. But the Blood Moon is also a bane for us."
Egalt turns to the Ninja. "May the Source Dragons be on your side."
With that, the two dragons start to turn to stone. Leaving the Ninja alone.
XxXxXxXxXx
"Excuse me. We have some rather pressing matters to attend to." Zane said. "Would it be easiest for my allies here if I just surrender?"
"What!?" Lilly cried, turning to him. "No!"
"Technically you can't surrender, only people can."
"You're a robotic Nindroid. So you're classified as equipment, not personnel."
"Which means you'll be decommissioned in our incinerator."
"But that'll kill him!" Cole yelled.
"Correction, it would kill him, if he were a person. But he's just equipment, so no big deal."
"No big deal!?" Lilly cried. "You pencil freaks! You're talking about my uncle!"
"Lilly, it is ok." Zane told her gently, she looks at him with tears.
"But."- She trailed off when he gently took her hand.
"Please trust me." He said as he gave her a gently smile.
"I always do."
Zane turns to them. "If I turn myself over, my friends can go free?" He asks.
"Nope. Don't you know Addendum 47-A? Anyone assisting a known fugitive shall be punished under the strictest guidelines. Not much room for misinterpretation there."
"Whatever." Cole said. "Let's just get on our dragon and go everyone."
"Nice try, but your dragon's currently impounded."
"JIRO!" Lilly screamed as Jiro struggles with his restrains and has a harness over his mouth. "YOU MONSTERS!" Lilly jumps down from the gates and charges at the two Agents. With built up furry and rage she easily knocks the two Agents down and runs over to Jiro. "Jiro!" She cried, hugging him.
"You brat!" The Agents move to grab Lilly and restrain her, Jiro shoves the Agents away from the teen. "We can discuss it on the way to the incinerator. BREACH THE WALL!"
"Halt!" Zane yelled, stopping them. "Where is your 35-C91 form? Designing approved intent to breach a wall or barricade on foreign soil?" He asks.
The two Agents look at each other.
Cole turns to Zane. "Did you just make that up?" He asked in a whisper.
"No. My work in the mail room afforded me much accesses to handbooks." Zane smiled. "My knowledge of their regulations is vast."
Lilly struggled against the Agents. "Let me go you pencil dweebs!"
The Serpentine Agent groaned. "Intent to breach water. Intent to breach walrus." She flipped through a book. "Ah, here it is! Intent to breach walls. Ugh, he's right. We need forms!"
"Ugh. Ok. Give us a minute! We'll get right on the paperwork." The two Agents huddled together.
The Ninja leap back into the courtyard of the monastery, and Lilly stealthily breaks free and leaps back into the courtyard. She runs over to Cole and the two hug.
"Man, non of this stuff is Administration approved." The Sorceress complained. "And you brought them right to my door!" She said as she dumps everything she has into a create. She turns. "Eleanor!" She yells.
Cole beams in delight as he watches the door of the monastery open and she walks out. "Yes ma'am?" She asks.
"Through away everything in all the closets, the brooms, the books, hide everything if you must!"
Eleanor nods. "Right away." She starts to turn, but she catches Cole looking at her.
"Eleanor!" Cole yells, raising his arm out to her. "Wait!"
The Sorceress looks at him. "You know her?"
"She's my wife! And the mother to my children, Lilly here is the oldest."
"Humph." The Sorceress folds her arms. "Still not cool."
"We passed through the Land Of Madness to get here." Zane explained. "I should've realized they would be scanning for me." He lowers his head. "This is all my fault."
Lilly walks up to him. "No uncle, it's not."
"Lilly's right." Cole said with a smile. "We're in this together!"
A slip of paper is pushed under the gate door. "There's your form."
Zane picks up the paper. "This doesn't have the mandatory 5-21z appendix. Unacceptable!" He pushes the paper back.
"Ugh, he's right again. Who's got a copy of the appendix?"
"I know what to do!" The Sorceress turns back to the Ninja after thinking. "I'll weave an intricate escape spell."
"How long will that take?" Bonzle asked.
The Sorceress pauses in thought. "Only two to three days."
"That." Zane starts. "Might take too long."
Another piece of paper slides through. "Appendix attached, you scofflaw."
"This is done correctly."
"Told you."
"But no in triplicate." Zane finishes and slides the paper back.
Frustrated screams is head and the gate thuds.
"Bonzle, hide the passages under this place." The Sorceress took charge. "Sprite will guide you."
"Thanks Sprite." Bonzle smiles as the golden glow comes up in front of her. "But what are you gonna do?" She asks the Sorceress.
"I'm going to fire up my crystal ball."
Cole and Bonzle look at each other. "I'm not sure offering to read their fortune is gonna help." Cole said.
"Oh! Can you tell the future?" Lilly asks, hopefully.
"Lillian!" Her father snaps, giving her a look and she pouts.
"It's not that kind of crystal ball." The Sorceress pulls out an orange orb. But before she could do anything the walls explodes next to her.
The Administration had busted through with their Mechs. "There's your triplicate right there!" The Agent held up a piece of paper with a check mark.
"God! You jokers are more tiring then Jay!" Cole yelled.
"Bonzle, hide!" Lilly cried as lasers are blasted at them.
"Don't have to tell me twice." She runs off.
Cole pulls on his hood, activating his own Mech. He leaps into it and charges, easily taking down the Agent Mechs.
"Go dad! Go!" Lilly cheers.
Zane fights some of the Agents with his own powers. And the Sorceress fights some with her crystal ball.
Bonzle grabs Lilly's hand. "Come with me!" She pulls Lilly towards a ladder where they both slide down it.
"Everything's so dark done here." Bonzle said as the golden light floated around the two. "Are you sure there'll be a safe place to hide?" She asks the golden orb, which takes off and the two follow.
Suddenly a blast hits in front of them and they slide to a stop.
"Attention!"
Jay Gorden-Walker walks out, wearing a black suit aiming a gun at them.
Lilly gasps. "Jay!" She cried. "You're alive!" She runs to him, but he just keeps his gun aimed at her and she slides to a stop. "Jay! It's me! Lillian Brookestone!"
He showed knocking sign of recognizing her.
"By the all encompassing authority of the Administration, I nearby demand your surrender!"
