authors note : I started watching oth brucas season 5 clips. Saw a fan made video and i got so inspired. A reunion could of happened that season especially given their single status and both trying to move forward. The core of this story is Brucas. Review.

Hours later
in the morning
Brooke got up and started her morning routine. Once she was dressed. She had breakfast and left her home.
She rolled down the windows. Letting the air come in the car.
She eventually got to the walking trails. Stretched before she started to run. It was early it was empty. With her headphones in.
She let herself run. Gazing at the view in front of her.
She ran until her legs ached and her heart raced. Her body coated in light sweat.
Brooke headed back to her car. Taking her time. As she drove home.
After a quick shower. And a snack.
Brooke left again. This time her car remained in the driveway.
Her and Peyton were next door neighbors. Haley and Nathan lived right across the street.
The friend group were in walking distance to each other which made meeting up so easy and simple.
Brooke used her spare key and opened the door.
She smiling at the sight of Jamie and Rebecca Anna Jagielski.
The two were close friends.
Brooke couldn't believe how many of her friends ended up pregnant in high school.
Her and Lucas somehow avoided that.
"Aunt Brooke!" The 5 year olds exclaimed.
Brooke opened her arms hugging them tightly.
"I've been expecting a visit from you." Peyton said.
"Finish you're fort then the two of you can go play on the playground equipment in the backyard." Peyton proclaimed.
"We can finish the fort later momma momma." Rebecca replied. She had curly blond hair and jake's eyes.
"We want to play outside. How long can we stay out aunt Peyton?" Jamie questioned.
"Until dinner is ready so the two of you have a couple hours. Since you're sleeping over." Peyton replied.
"You're it." Rebecca said with a smile.
Jamie started to chase after her. As they headed towards the sliding doors leading towards the backyard.
"I'm sure they've been keeping you and Jake busy." Brooke said.
"They have but life with kids get's easier to take once you're used to it. Naley made it look effortless juggling Jamie. Lydia. And Ryder." Peyton replied.
Brooke couldn't hide her sadness.
"I'm talking too much. You could always take in another baby."
"No need to get rid of any supplies so soon right?" Peyton questioned.
"I guess so. I've seen you and Haley become moms."
"Bevin and Skills are married. Rachel and Mouth moved in together."
"I just thought i would of been settled down by now." Brooke admitted.
"You're 23 there's so much time to do that. Plus you're hot and rich. Single. Why have enjoy that before getting all serious?" Peyton suggested.
"Greatest moment in you're life. When all you're dreams come true Who's standing next to you?" Peyton asked.
"Brooke." Lucas replied.
Peyton recalled the memory.
As Brooke pulled her into a hug.
"I'll go." Brooke announced.

Karen's Cafe Rooftop
"I see you're hair has stayed the same and you're up doing regular hours. Which means you're finding you're way past Lindsey being gone. This is a great thing." Haley said.
"It is. Her and I weren't meant to last. But it did make it clear to me that i'm ready to settle down." Lucas replied.
"When you're ready you start dating again."
"You should have no problem getting whoever you want."
"No hiding you're heart. Just go for it." Haley advised.
"Wait for me at the cafe. I have predictions to write down. We'll get lunch." Lucas replied.
"I won't be long." Lucas added in.
Haley laughed "I may have to order extra appetizers. I skipped breakfast for this." She replied. As she left the rooftop.
Lucas opened the container meant for his predictions and started to write on a sheet of paper.

Later on that day
It was sunset when Lucas heard knocking at the door.
When he made it the entryway and opened the door.
Standing in front of him was Brooke.
"I thought we could keep each other company. Be alone. Together."
"What do you think?" Brooke suggested.
"Movie night?" Lucas asked.
Brooke smiled up at him.
"You get the snacks and i'll pick out the movie. Then you can pick out the next one. I'm in a 27 dresses or how to lose a guy in 10 days mood." Brooke proclaimed.
"Then we watch When Harry met Sally. And 10 things i hate about you." Lucas replied.
"Deal." Brooke replied. As she headed into the home.
