Pulling up, he exited the car as Flack and Danny arrived.
"What's going on Mac?" Flack asked as he and Danny walked over.
"Before my date with Christine, I received this address from dispatch. Jo made me leave for my date and came here instead. I received this about twenty minutes ago from an unknown number. What I didn't know is this was a setup to get to me. Instead whoever they are took Jo and are now using her to get to me."
"Do you have any idea who we're dealing with" Danny asked
"I wish I did. Danny I want you inside processing, let's see what we can find. I'm heading to the lab to see if Adam can get me a location on this number."
"I'm all over it Mac"
"I'll see if I can find any surveillance, check with dispatch, and who owns this property." Flack added
"Thanks Don. Let's move fast, time is not on our side."
Mac got back into the avalanche headed for the lab. He had unintentionally gotten Jo into trouble. He had to find her.

Her hands were tingling and her arms hurt. That was the first things to register in her brain. Taking a deep breath she attempted to adjust her arms when she felt the pull of restraints. That set off alarms in her head and her eyes flew open. Darkness met her and for a brief moment she questioned if her eyes were truly open. Then she noticed the faintest bit of light underneath what could only be a door. She realized she was standing with her arms restrained above her.
"What the hell had happened" Jo asked internally before the events at the crime scene flashed in her mind. The guy had asked about Mac. The question now was where the hell was she. Jo stood on her tiptoes to try and get her hands unhooked to give her shoulders some relief. After unhooking her arms she tried to search around in the dark for something to cut the rope with; just then she heard footsteps approaching. Jo quickly walked over to the hook and held it with her hands just as a light above switched on, followed by the door opening.
"I see your awake" said her captor
Silence was what met him. Jo wasn't saying anything until she got some answers. From her time in the FBI she knew how people like this thought. If she didn't respond he would just do all the talking.
"Nothing to say to me" he asked?
Silence
"Don't you want to know why you're here" he tried again
Silence
"Fine!" He rushed up to get in her face, getting irritated with the silence. "You don't want to talk to me, let's see if you will talk to him."
Jo just stared at him, no expression on her face. She originally thought to use his proximity to try and escape. She wasn't sure what was outside the door though and with him calling Mac she would wait until the right time. Her captor finally turned to walk away from her and pulled out a phone dialing and putting the phone on speaker as it rung.
"Taylor" Mac's voice came through the speaker.
"Are all of your people this difficult" her captor asked turning back to face her.
"I want to speak with Jo" Mac countered.
"So that's her name" he smirked walking up to her.
"I want to speak with Jo"
"That might be a little hard" he replied vaguely.
"Why? What have you done to her" Mac asked?
"Nothing….yet" he reached out to hold her chin. "But if she keeps up this attitude, I'll give her a taste of what I have in store for you"
"Leave her out of this. You said this was between you and I. So name the place and you can have me for Jo" Mac wanted to keep him on the phone as long as possible so Adam could get a location.
"All in due time"
"At least let me talk to her as proof she's alright"
"Go ahead sweetheart, tell him you're okay".
Jo was silent. Although she wanted to answer, she also knew Mac would be tracing the call.
"I said tell him you're okay you stupid bitch" and with that he slapped her.
"Hey! I said leave her alone, your issue is with me remember " Mac replied in an authoritative tone. He wasn't going to give this guy the satisfaction of knowing how much this bothered him.
"It's okay Mac, I'm fine" came Jo's voice through the line.
Mac released a silent breath.
"Well how about that, she speaks. I'll get back to you soon Taylor. First I'm going to have a chat with Jo here" and he hung up before anything else could be said.
"Damn it!" Mac dropped the phone on the table and looked to Adam. "Anything?"
"Sorry boss, he's bouncing the signal" Adam replied.
"Keep working on the surveillance Flack pulled, I'm going to check if Danny has found anything."
"You got it boss."
