AN: Hope the story is enjoyable so far, I realized I could make the chapters longer. I have a majority of this written, I just wasnt sure where I wanted to break it up at. I wanted to say all mistakes are mine and I'm a working progress when it comes to writing. This chapter picks up where the last one left off. Enjoy!

"Are you one of those chics that only responds to violence?"
"Maybe I don't have anything to say to you." Jo stated
"Or maybe you're just like Taylor and think you're above people like me" he spat.
"That's not the type of man Mac Taylor is, he would never…" (SLAP) Jo was unable to finish her sentence and she was mad at herself for not just keeping quiet like she planned. She only spoke to keep Mac calm. She could hear it in his voice and knew how Mac felt about her and the rest of the team.
"Tell that to my brother" he yelled turning his back to her. "Taylor killed him and he will pay for that"
Jo saw this as an opportunity and unhooked her hands. She hadn't seen anything on him except the phone he pulled out of his pocket. Using all her body weight she rammed into his back and took off for the door without looking back. She was in a long hall and had no idea where she was going. Jo could hear him cursing and leaving the room to catch up to her. After she turned another corner she saw a sign for stairs and headed towards them. As she reached the first platform she collapsed as a heavy body fell onto her. How had he caught up to her so fast? When he lifted her off the ground and turned her around she got her answer.
"Going somewhere" asked the gentleman?
"Who are you" Jo asked, confused at the new face? She hadn't realized there was more than one person.
"I'm Greg. Why did you have to run? Now Tommy's going to be pissed." Replied Greg.
Just then who she now knew as Tommy came to a halt at the top of the steps. He came barreling down them and slapped her.
"Try that again and I'll send you back to Taylor in pieces. Take her back to the room and meet me downstairs." Tommy said before continuing down the steps.
Greg walked Jo back to the room she was in before. He made her sit on the floor then proceeded to tie a rope around her legs.
"That should keep you out of trouble. Just do as Tommy says, he wants Taylor not you." Greg advised her
"And what do you want Greg" she asked him?
He didn't answer though, just turned around and left the room. He didn't bother to lock the door. With her hands and feet tied it's not like she could do much anyways. She was going to take this time to plan and figure out how she could help Mac find her before things got out of hand. She was sure if Tommy knew Greg had let their names slip he wouldn't care about exchanging her for Mac. In all honesty she wasn't sure he was planning to really let her go anyway.
*BACK AT THE LAB*
"Tell me you found something Danny" Mac said as he entered trace.
"There wasn't much left behind by this guy unfortunately. I did find some dirt particles in a partial shoe print that turned out to be plaster dust" Danny replied.
"So this guy was somewhere that's being renovated. Anything else?"
"I collected these tiny bits of paper I found near Jo's gun. Turns out to be taser tags."
"Do you have a name for who purchased the taser" Mac asked hopefully
"I'm still waiting on that, sorry Mac" Danny apologized
"Stay on it. I want to know the moment you got a name" with that Mac turned around and went to his office.
If he had just responded to the scene to begin with this wouldn't be happening. Jo has been pushing him to have a personal life and now her life was on the line. They had become close since she joined the team. Her southern charm had won everyone over, and that same charm had managed to tear down the walls he had put up after Peyton. Not to mention what a great friend and mother she was.
"Shit" he cursed picking up his phone. "Lindsey, I need you to go to Jo's apartment and wait for Ellie."
….
"No, I'm going to call Tyler now and have him come to the apartment"
….
"We will keep you in the loop"
….
"Thanks Lindsey". Mac hung up and sighed heavily. He couldn't just sit in his office and wait. He got up and went to go see if Adam had made anymore progress.

"Alright Jo, we're going to switch rooms and make a little clue video for Mac. The sooner I get rid of you the sooner I can end this." Tommy said as he walked into the room.
"Why do we have to switch rooms" Jo asked? She had worked out what she could say to Mac to give him the only clues she had, but she thought she would be on the phone with him.
"You will find out" he said while cutting the rope from around her legs and pulling her up on her feet. "Now walk and no funny business" he ordered.
Jo followed Tommy's directions until she turned and entered a very large room. Greg was inside setting up a large light. She saw a desk with a laptop and camera connected to it already set up and facing some type of large looking tank with a ladder behind it. Beside the tank she saw a long chain hanging from the ceiling with a hook at the end; similar to the one she was hanging from when she first woke up. She had a very bad feeling about this.
"Okay Jo it's show time" Tommy announced as he clapped his hands together walking closer to her.
"I thought you wanted me to talk to Mac" she questioned
"I do, but I'm also going to give him and incentive to make sure he doesn't try anything funny" came his reply
"What kind of incentive" she asked slowly backing away from him.
He quickly grabbed her taking her over to the large hook, and putting her wrist over the hook. "It won't be any fun if I tell you, now would it" he smiled. "Okay let's lift her a little bit so she can't escape" Tommy directed Greg.
"No! Wait!" Jo called out.
It was no use. Greg was already pressing the button to raise her off the ground. She winced as her wrist and arms to the full weight of her body. She was grateful he stopped after a couple of inches. Jo swayed a little as the chain jerked to a stop and she schooled her face as she felt the rope digging deeper into her skin.
"Okay, my friend over there is going to turn that camera on when I tell him. You are going to tell Mac hello and how you are just fine. I'm going to give him a little reminder of what's at stake and then I'm going to hold up an address for you to read out to him. I'm going to wear my little mask here and give Mac his deadline before you say goodbye."
"Then you're just going to let me go once you have Mac? Just like that?" Jo asked
"Just like that" he smiled at her. "I have no beef with you." He told her as he caressed her face before turning and walking towards Greg.
Jo didn't believe a word he had said. She knew they had something in store for her to make sure Mac came wherever they planned to grab him. She closed her eyes, taking a deep breath, as she went over in her head again what she had planned to say to hopefully steer her friends and colleagues in the right direction. While she didn't know exactly where she was, she was sure she had heard an El train pass a couple times while she was waiting in the room. She also knew she was either in a factory or warehouse of some sort that was under construction. The walk to this room had only confirmed that for her. She just hoped that neither of them would understand her message.
"I just sent the link to Taylor, look alive Jo!" he yelled to her before putting on a ski mask and pair of gloves.
Jo opened her eyes looking over where they stood near the desk. She could tell Tommy was holding something behind his back. He pointed at the camera and she turned her gaze towards it.
"Hey Mac, I guess the night took an unexpected turn huh." She gave a slight smile. "If I had known this was going to happen, I would've taken you up on having lunch at 10. We could've taken the El to Allen and Lee's Deli on 59th or the Diner on 82nd and got the #2 special. Other than being hungry I'm fine though."(Tommy was pointing at the sign he was holding and then snapped his fingers) "Ummmm, you're to go to the parking garage on 15th and Broadway, 2nd floor, and come alone." She finished reading.
"You got that Taylor?" Tommy asked as he stepped in front of the camera facing it as he backed towards Jo. "You see, this is to show you I mean business." Tommy said turning towards Jo and shocking her with the cattle prod in his hand.
"Ahhhhh" Jo let out at the unexpected shock.
"If I see one squad car." *zap* "Hear one siren." *zap* "Or expect you're being followed." *zap* "I'll send her back to you in pieces." Tommy said to the camera.
Jo had her eyes shut and was breathing heavily. She wasn't going to give him the satisfaction of making anymore sounds because of the pain. She was slightly swaying now from her bodies reaction to being shocked and her instincts of trying to move away. Jo hoped her message was understood and the calvary would hopefully arrive before she was tortured any further.
"Once I have you, I'll let Jo here go. Don't disappoint me again." He finished walking up to the camera and then out of frame. He then motioned for Greg to kill the feed as he pulled his mask back off. "Get down to the garage and get ready to bring Taylor here. I'll help Jo here into the tank to get him there faster and she can be our test run for him."
"But I thought you was going to let her go once we got Taylor" Greg questioned.
"She's a witness now, I'm not letting her go until I know we're in the clear." He sneered
"But Tommy.."
"Don't say my name you idiot!" He let out a frustrated sigh. "Just go to the garage and get Taylor. This is for our little brother! Remember that before you start feeling sorry for her."
"Right" Greg agreed and left taking one last look at Jo before he shut the door to go get Mac.
Jo had been listening to them, and she had opened her eyes when she heard Greg mention Tommy's name. She watched him leave and knew the look he gave her before shutting the door wasn't a good sign.
