Chapter 32:Family History
In another part of vacou right now more importantly where ren and nora where. They were with someone else right now. That being cardin, yumi and emerald right now as they where being told something right now the two found strange
"So you two think xander is acting weird?"Cardin questioned as nora nodded
"Yeah i mean…he left very quickly after breakfast this morning. Along with that meeting with someone named erin"nora replied which confused them
"So what? Some random chick named erin big deal"yumi replied although ren shook his head
"No it is a big deal. Look….emerald do you remember how you, rogue, jaune and mercury did your own investigations back in argus"ren questioned as she nodded
"We did research on team BRAS past. Rosemary and scar where obviously in the family business. Adder is self explanatory now. But bonnie….bonnie was so weird"emerald mentioned making the other two interested right now on what she meant by that
"What are you talking about?"yumi aksed as the red eyed girl thought for a moment
"I mean how all we got from her was one name for a dead women. Her name was mara thanatos but she died twnety years ago"emerald said which made the other two figure out what ren and nora were implying
"Wait your implying this random chick is related to bonnie?"cardin asked the two with nora stating at ren who sielntly nodded in agreement with her
"Look when we got to deepwald. We needed to get contacts for ruby to hide her eyes, but we went to this clinic. The owners were called reed and erin thanatos"nora explained making the three stare at them like they where crazy
"What? You think this random chick and her dad are related to bonnie"Yumi questioned with a laugh as someone was invited to help them
"Your not wrong. Erin lost her mom twenty years ago"A familiar voice said spooking them as yumi yelped leaping into cardin arms. With emerald reaching for her weapon but she didn't need to. As it was pollax and percy as the miner owner sighed
"Funny i hear from you two kids again. From jaune apparent teammates…you two doing okay"percy asked starting some small talk with ren sighing as he looked at his metal hand clenching it
"Were managing. Everyone these are people that assisted us in the destruction of the talon forces occupying deepwald. Percy and pollax"ren introduced them
"Well charmed i'm cardin, this is my girl yumi and this is emerald"cardin introduced
"Nice to meet you…but ummm you two aren't wrong about that women possible being mara. I mean..she was in our town for almost three months. With a fake name"pollax supported to their shock with nora crossing her arms under her bust
"Then we need to make sure xander isn't planning to do anything. Do you know where erin and reed are. "Nora questioned as the two of them stayed silent for a moment as percy snapped his fingers
"Yeah this bookstore. On my way here i saw them enter it with some wolf kid and…let me see…that schnee kid. Along with that big guy reinhart"percy answered worrying them
"Then were heading over their show us which store."cardin replied as he nodded as they left the spot they where in. as they walked through the streets for a bit emerald accdienlty bumped into someone as she stumbled for a moment.
"My bad sorry where in a hurry"emerald said walking away from them right now. That being a girl who seemed to have brown hair with tan skin and hazel colored eyes. With hoyt by her side along with two random civlians as he smirked eyeing them down
"Lookie here. Isn't that…ohhh its panda ears and that susatari girl. Wanna tail em kid"hoyt asked the girl who was rosemary wearing one of the mask over her face as she smiled at him
"Ohhh i think we should. Maybe they'll be a side dish before i slit bonnie daughter throat along with her husbands"rosemary said smiling as they decided to follow after them at that moment to their desiantion
As the group kept walking for what felt like forever soon enough they arrived at their desiantion. That being the crypt bookstore as they immediately walked into the store to find some familiar faces. That being hectate, lloyd, whitley, hazel, carmen and xander as they expected them to be trying to plan someone murder
But instead sitting on a chair still reeling from hearing her mother was a mass murderer right now was erin. Who was crying seeking comfort in the form of poppy hugging the poor girl holding her close in her arms
"Dear its okay…its okay you didn't know. God we didn't know"poppy shushed to their surprised at the sight with whitley noticing them as he tried to play dumb
"Oh hello you five. Are you here for a book we had a small accident and needed to close for today"whitley said gesturing to the close sign but percy sighed pressing his fingers on his forehead
"Kid don't gotta lie to us. Because i'm wondering why your all with reed and his daughter"percy questioned as pollax gesuted to a sidearm on her hip. With hectate crossing her arms staring at them
"Let me guess…you two know about her being related to well…you know"hectate questioned ren and nora to their surprise as nora nodded to her
"We do. Look um…we kinda connected you to her maybe. We never had the evidence since well your wife was dead."nora said to reed who stared at her with a disgusted look scoffing right now
"Really? I just got told my wife is a mass murderer and a walking corpse. "Reed said with venom dripping off his words. But hazel stepped forward locking the door just incase as he guarded the main door for any signs of trouble
"Look lets keep this to ourselves. These two have nothing to do with what happened with bonnie. That women isn;t the women they knew from before"hazel stated with yumi scoffing as she glared at the two
"Really? Because your whore mom killed my freind and her sister!"yumi shouted anger to meet the dam relatives of that women. As erin started to break down crying even more to her surprise with carmen growling as she stepped forward shoivng her slightly
"Hey! Don't touch her!"cardin shouted drawing his mace at the ready with the horse faunus scoffing as she stomped her feet a few times
"Shut up. Because i know that psycho killed wiess but going on a little revenge quest will fix nothing. I mean you all really wanna tell the whole kingdom that these two are her family. Do you know what the others will do…"Carmen paused as they stayed silent listening to her
"I mean they'll be some of them saying revenge is bad. But some of you from what i heard went on a revenge quest. Killing two random inncoent people will bring no one happiness. They had nothing to do with this"carmen said as someone laughed close by which was jenna sighing
"Couldn't have said it better myself kid. Talked to some sources i know where moving you two into that housing complex where the others are"jenna said as reed crossed his arms
"Great idea. Put us closer to the people that will want to kill us"reed said annoyed now with erin sniffing as her eyes where puffy and red as she sniffed
"I…i…i don't want to die..i…i…why would my mom become a monster. why"Erin cired and cried with ren seeing petal presenting guilt, sadness and confusion all around her. He sighed as he thought of something to say to make her feel better
"Look…i'm mad that she killed our friends. But killing someone in our leader name woudln't be right. But it seems shes a victim in all of this as well, though why isn't she like the rest of the grimm hybrids"ren questioned as whitley proposed his theory
"Well we heard the story on ozma from hazel along with having may confirm it last night with me. My theory is that she rescruted her since she shared a similar story with her. A women plague by a sickness and her husband wishing to save her. Sound familiar"whiltey asked as it did
"Sounds just like ozmas story but reversed. Makes sense i guess…though are you guys really not planning on mudering her"cardin asked as some paused for a moment with xander zipping over
"Well no….but we do kinda have to muder her mom for uh her maiden powers"xander said hesianlty as this made the entire situation awkward right now. With lloyd clapping his hands together
"Dear why don't you go lay down for a bit. We can help situate you in the home along with having a few of our trusted acolytes guard you. I won't tell them who you are"lyyod said
"That would be nice i guess…i need to…process the next week or so."reed replied though suddenly the smashing of a door could be heard. As they followed the source as from a nearby backdoor they looked to see two civlians who had pistols out with silencers. Along with a familiar face which jenna noticed which was hoyt as she went wide eyed.
"Hoyt! You son of a bitch! What are you doing here?"jenna said drawing out her guanlents slipping them on aiming them at him. With the other grabbing their weapons with hoyt realizing how many of them are here right now as he neoruvsly laughed right now
"Oh crap…heh heh…jenna! How you been girl was planning on robbing this joint for uh…a book for the little girl here"hoyt said gesturing to the still disguised rosemary but yumi sniffed the air finding a familiar scnet as she narrowed her gaze drawing out both her desert eagles
"Nice try. How yah been rosemary….how are your legs"yumi asked with a grin making the girl growl as she tore off her mask to reveal it to be rosemary. Who brought out both shotgun pointing it at them with a smile on her face
"Their fine….mother made sure to teach your friend a lesson. But maybe i'll teach that bitch bonnie for taking my kill"rosmeary growled sounding deranged like always. With cardin stepping forward extending his shield bashing his mace against it a few times
"You really wanna try this? Your outnumbered and….your going to rot in jail for killing my father you scumbag"cardin said direclty to hoyt who stared at him feeling the hatred as he noticed their current situation as he grabbed rosemary by the arm who growled snatching her arm back
"Touch me and –"she was stopped as a gunshot went off as xander pointed his pistol at her.
"Get em!"he shouted as they all rushed in at them with rosemary growling as she lifted up her shotguns firing off a few slugs trying to hit them. They hit the deck as she backed up out of the bookstore shredding a few of the books in the collection for a brief second. But ducked into the alleyway with yumi running forward
"After them!"yumi shouted with cardin, jenna, hectare and hazel joining them with lloyd groaning at the lost of some of his books. As the group chased the four down he two talon soldiers with them stopped to open fire upon them. Though hectate went into her warrior form dashing forward as she swiftly incapacitated the two with a spin kick or slamming their head into the wall. As she began to tie them up with the other chasing after the two
As they arrived into a busy crowd as they slipped into the crowd with them losing their trail right now
"Dam it! We lost them were never going to find them in this crowd its too dense right now"cardin commented although xander sniffed the air as a purple aura trail was seen with several others. But taking the chance he narrowed his gaze before focusing it in on it. From his view someone glowed as he saw two people running away
"Over their!"he shouted pointing at them as they followed his lead chasing after them. They moved through the crowd making their way through it as they got to the alley they turned down. Turning a corner they spotted them getting onto a jeep right now with someone driving it. Rosemary looked over growling as she lifted her shotgun beginning to fire a swell of slugs at them
They all dove to the corner of the alleyway to take cover but this made the nearby civlians all scream in a panic running away from the loud gunfire. With rosemary giggling like a maniac right now with cardin ducking as a slug almost nailed him in the head at that moment
"Were pinned! Okay we need to grab them and integrate them"jenna said but hazel noticed the driver already starting to drive away with the laughter and giggling of rosemary being heard as the car plead out of the man entrance.
"It seems that they might be escaping. If where lucky the guards will stop them"hazel said as they emerged into the street seeing some guards trying to stop them. Though as they watched the jeep went through a black portal disppearing instanly to their surprise with yumi growling pounding her fist into a nearby barrel
"Dam it! We lost them!"yumi shouted but cardin placed a hand on his girlfriend shoulder to calm her down
"We might have lost them. But where gonna have to tell the others when they get back with the artifacts on what just happened"cardin said hoping the others had a better time getting the artifacts back
Meanwhile with team BBNT along with mercury, ame, adder along with octavia. They where driving down a dirt path on a jeep right now to their desiantion. Along with that joining them for this little expedition was oobleck himself who wanted to keep an eye on some of the students in the mix. They had a small group of atlas soldiers and despardos measuring in about six of them in another keep ahead of them
They kept driving around in silence as mercury was checking on his legs ammo seeng they where full capcvity as he stretched his back out sighing
"So oobleck himself is coming with us. Should feel honored i think"mercury joked
"You shouldn't . As the resident artifact and history expert of beacon academy. I will help you identify the object we need is valuable. With it we can procure the relic of beacon"oobelck said with octavia scoffing
"Then why did we bring the cultist main creator here"octavia rudely said pointing her dagger at naca who looked down as bombay growled at her
"Shut up! Naca isn't with them neither of her parents are either….say something like that again and your dead"bombay hissed as octavia stared at the cat faunus before flipping her off as she buried her nose into her scroll. This made the cat faunus growl as she was ready to tackle her
But thisite held her partner back sighing as she stared at the vacou native
"We'll watch her along with that you all watch tannin. Who knows if hes a spy"thisite said with everyone seeming to not trust anyone in this little group. Ame groaned smacking her face as she rubbed her eyes
"Just shut up. Look we need to work together…what are we looking for professor"ame questioned
Oobleck reached into his pack pulling out a book. He grabbed the spine of the book quickly flipping through it till he landed on a sketch of something. That being a curved dagger in the drawing with a golden hilt and black gemstone in the middle. With a white and blue gem stone close to it.
"From what ozpin explained. He gave me a sketch of the object where looking for. A dagger rumored to belong to will vincent long ago. It was a gift from ozpin previous reincarnation. But the dagger was used to cut into the man heart to kill him"oobleck stated
"So a dagger that killed my ancestor starting everything wrong with my life. Awesome"naca said with no cheer with mercury tapping his chin
"Huh looks weird…its like i've seen it somewhere before in a book"he mentioned as he should be
"Why you should. I covered it in class its rumored to have been crafted to slice through anyone semblances and aura. It was rumored to be buried with will vincents grave as a warning for those who dare oppose the cult of the unseen eye"oobleck finished his brief explanation packing his book into his pack. As they process that info dump
"Okay so where going to be infiltrating a tomb and robbing someone corpse. Great….just great"bashira joked as their jeeps kept traveling through the sands for what felt like forever
After maybe twenty minutes of traveling through the dunes of vacou they soon arrived at something. That being strange structure that looked to be a cave. But the entrance looked like old ruins as it was open with an eeri atmosphere to it right now. Once they got out mercury shivered
"This doesn't feel creepy one bit"mercury commented on the atmosphere
"You are not wrong i mean…uhh it seems where also not the only ones here"ame pointed to a nearby cargo truck parked close by with a talon logo on it. As the soldiers stepped foward
"Professor we can guard the entrance if they try to leave and sabotage their vehicles"the soldier said as oobleck nodded
"Good we shall pursue the artifact. If we are lucky they won't be able to get to it"oobleck said leading the charge as they followed getting in a small formation. With mercury and adder in the front with thisite in the middle with her microphone at the ready. Along with that bashira was in the middle with her assault rifle out. As naca was in the back with octavia who had her dagger out. Ame had her shotgun prothsetic on with oobleck holding his thermos out at the ready
They kept walking for what felt like forever at this point. While they did they noticed something that being a set of footprints leading down the path further ahead
"We god tracks. My guess is around…five…not that many to deal with if they brought a cargo truck"bahsira noted
"That is weird. Sage can your eye probably pick up anything"ame asked as bombay blinked a few times to change her eye to infrared mode. As she did she looked ahead seeing nothing but a couple rodents or vermin as she shook her head
"Nothing. We should take it easy and keep on moving"bombay said as octavia scoffed bumping shoulders with naca
"Then lets make sure sage doesn't go ahead of us. I'll scout ahead with rhodes"octavia said as ame growled as she walked ahead to keep an eye on her. As they walked naca sighed looking down which mercury noticed
"Okay spill. Whats with everyone in vacou hating you guys, i know your on our side but…seriously is that why you moved to mistral"mercury asked wondering if he shoudln't have with bashira sighing placing an arm around her partner
"Naca always been shown alot of hate since she came from vacou. Funny enough me and her met before we got put on the same team"bashira replied as naca chuckled
"Yeah didn't help with all the abuse i had as a kid. It was bad"naca replied remembering those days back in vacou when her family was casted out of their own home
Eight years ago
It was eight years ago in the kingdom of vacou with the same sandy dunes and hot sun in the skies. Along with everyone doing what they can to survive this desert hot climates the best they could. Though right now in a simply little home peering out the window was a younger naca
Who had on some black shorts with a white and blue stripped shirt. As she was staring at some people throwing rotten apples at her family home. With her father topher yelling at them to go away. As suddenly she felt someone touch her shoulder as she looked up to see it was her mother lacey
"Don't look baby. Go play with your toys your cousins will be here soon"lacey said as the young girl nodded playing with some dolls she had on hand. As eventually her father came back in growling as he smacked his hand against the door
"Those….i wish they would give us a break dear. I can't believe they all found out about my last name. I'm so sorry"topher said but his wife didn't care as she loving embraced him
"When you told me about your family history i was shocked. But i know a good person when i see one. Your a good man my love. What are we going to do"lacey asked as she gestured to their daughter as topher sighed thinking of something
"Well i called my sister and brothers families over. Where uh…thinking of moving to mistral dear"topher said to his wife shock
"Are you sure…what about your family here…granted mine…diswoned me when they heard your last name. My little sister and brother still talk to me. But…are you sure thats a wise idea?"lacey asked as he nodded kissing her on the forehead
"It is dear. I want the best for our little girl…maybe she can make friends their this time."topher siad with hope as the women hoped. With the little girl listening a little confused what her parents meant by move somewhere
Though time seemed to fast forward as it showed the family now moving to mistral. As they started their new life right now. Along with that settling into a nice new nieborhood as naca was at a playground with her mother. But she was in the sand playing by herself right now messing with it for a bit.
As she did soon enough someone stood over her that being a younger bashira wearing a bright pink shrit with a pair of black shorts. The tot stared at the three colored hair girl
"I like your hair"bashira sweetly siad making naca tilt her head confused right now
"Are you gonna throw sand or dirt in my eyes. I don't want more in my face"naca innocently replied to the young girl confusion
"Why would i do that? Are you a mean person?"bashira innocently asked as the young girl thought for a moment
"I don't know…alot of the adults said my daddies family are meanies."naca said as walking over was lacey with a worried look as she knelt down next to her daughter
"Sweetie. Is this um..girl bothering you? Are you okay"lacey asked but someone chuckled walking over that being lisha who sighed smiling
"No i watched her my little bashira here is a cursious girl. Though…your new to the neighborhood i see. My name is lisha benkai you are"lisha asked as lacey looked stunned for a moment before clearing her throat offering her a hand with a nervous look
"Ummm lacey vincent…this is my little girl naca. Say hi sweetie"lacey said as naca waved to her. With lisha slightly going wide eyed hearing that name staring at the two asking her something surprising
"Really? Your family wouldn't happen to have some little tale that talks about someone with two souls. "Lisha questioned making lacey flinch staring at her in disbelief as she wanted to ask
"I…i…how do you know about him. My husband father told me…we…were not apart of the cult we–"She was stopped as lisha sighed placing a hand on her shoulder
"Apart of the other side of the family. I found some old notes from my late husband parents, i think we should talk or have tea sometime dear"lisha said welcoming her to mistral as it seemed naca made a lifelong friend
Present
As the memory was still fresh in her mind they kept walking as they soon found themselves at the end of the tunnel right now. With five unseen eye members trying to open what appears to be a door right now made completely of stone with their symbol on it. But they failed to open it as one growled
"Why can't we opne the holy chamber. Speaker flora said it should open for those who seek the path of our queen"The cultist asked in anger
"Calm yourself. From the notes she gathered she said only the one who sealed this tomb may open it. If her words are true out enemies will arrive here soon and we can take the girl"the cultist reassured as their group stared at naca
"Ohhh thats why your here….makes sense magic door with a blood seal. Awesome"mercury replied
"So how are we gonna deal with them. Quick and easy or shoot them"bombay asked with adder stepping foward as he clnehced his fist
"I suggest you all step back…i can handle them"adder said confusing them but bashira pulled a rag out covering her mouth which they noticed. They all backed up with them covering their mouths as adder stepped forward kneeling to the ground exhaling slowly
Then he activated his semblnaces as he pumped out green smoke from his wrist. As the smoke began to travel toward the cultist as it enveloped them as they all of a sudden felt very tired. With one yawning before suddenly passing out as they fell to the ground knocked out. The rest soon followed as the smoke dissipated as they returned with all of them knocked out
"Nice job snake boy. If we used thisite here we'd all be going night night"bashira joked with her teammates puffing her cheeks up
As they approahced the door they made sure to tie up the cultist. Once they approached the door oobleck studied it for a moment to find an access point of some sort. While he did octavia crossed her arms glaring at naca which she noticed
"What"naca growled as she scoffed
"Nothing. Kinda funny how they said they needed to wait for the one to open the door. My guess is you…you call any cultist buddies vincent"octavia rudely said with her growling at her ready to fight her. But surprisingly adder stepped up shoving octavia into the wall as she placed a hand on her weapon at the ready
"You have no room to talk right now. All ive heard the entire time we traveled here is you bad mouthing her. How about you open your ears up and listen…or are you too arrogant"Adder said with a hiss as he was one to talk
"Oh really? I'm getting a lecture from the assassin that worked for salem. How should i know or anyone your still working for her"octavia retorted with adder hissing before lunging forward with is sword as she yelped as she closed her eyes expecting to be dead. But instead she noticed the sword being buried into the wall next to her as it was close to her face
"Shut up. I am never going to serve someone like her every in my life again. I made terrible mistake but i want to redeem myself and my actions. That girl family isn't responsible for the cult the other side is. And it would be impossible for them to be here since the last one died without fathering a child"adder said removing his balde sheathing it back into his sheath on his hip crossing his arms
"Learn some respect, she is trying to make up for her ancestors actions"adder finished as they where surprised that he would do that for her which bahsira took a mental note off. Soon enough oobleck found a way to open it
"Here we are…miss vincent! If you may press your hand here"oobleck said as he gesutured to a pressure plate on the wall. Walking over naca hesaintly pressed her hand on the all hoping it doens't activated some booby trap or rolling boulder
But the wall infront of them started to move as dust and sand slowly moved as the stone walls came apart. Which revealed what was inside that being a spacious room that had some light seeping into the structure. Though one thing was apparent a skeleton that was underneath a banner of the unseen eye that looked old as the cloth was tattered. This was will vincent
They stared in shock as oobleck walked over carefully removing something from will chest. The dagger as it still looked brand new after years of being here as he placed it into his pack for safe keeping
"We got the dagger…but uh…this is…creepy…why is his skeleton here"bashira questioned
"My guess is to be left as a warning. Hundreds of years alone here and killed by his own brother. Let us leave and not disrespect him further. Grab those five"ooblekc ordered as they nodded. They grabbed the cutlist as they regrouped with the soldiers who didnt run into any problems here
"Thank god your all back. Thought you bite the dust down their"the despardo said
"We didn't but we brought gifts. Along with that we got what we needed. Lets head back to the capital"mercury said as they pilled into the cars to drive back to the capital to let them know the good news
As they drove for a long time nightime started to come out with the sky turning dark. Once they got back to the capital some others where their themselves. As the group from the proeprrty were back but reese was sobbing and crying into her hands right now with arslan comforting her. As glynda was covering her face sighing in sorrow.
"Glynda what happened? Did something happen while we were gone?"oobelck questioned as the others where with the women as well. Ironwood sighed placing his arms behind his back
"Unfortunately yes. Apparently rosemary and three others snuck into the capital with fake IDs and caused some mayhem here for a moment. But did you retrieve the dagger?"ironwood asked with oobleck pulling it out as oscar stepped forward as it felt familiar as someone spoke to him in his head like a memory from the past
"I will always be by your side old friend. Thank you for the gift"a old voice said as ozpin in his head knew who that was thinking of his old allie
"You got the dagger good. Where working on sending a team of huntsman and huntresses to search for the other artifacts"theodore said but bashira was concerned as she looked to see arslan on the verge of tears
"Hey…reese…arslan…whats up? Why are you guys crying what happened?"bashira asked her friends as they stayed silent for a moment. With tanner looking at the ground in rage as he clenched his fist before releasing it
"We didn't get the key for the vault. They took it along with that…bolin…bolin didn't make it…some merc killed him"tanner said with an upset look. This just stunned them with ame covering her mouth about to cry. With thisitie eyes widening as she sighed holding her head as bashira closed her eyes exhaling for a moment shaking her head
"Thats…unforutnate. It seems we have a new problem i take it"adder asked as glynda nodded
"It appears we do. But…they also ran into the wyvern knight unfortunately they didn't have time to execute her an–"She was stopped as someone spoke up
"Excute her! James…james! You promised me that we could try and save dracona. You promised!"carmine said walking over in anger as the general turned to her sighing breaking his promise to her again.
"Carmine we don't have time to play savior right now. She is a threat and needs to be put down as soon as–"he was stopped as she slapped him across the face with tears in her eyes. With mariana walking over taking her wife to go and calm down
"Great thats just great…what do we do now? Because we just spent most of the day handing out flyers and making announcement for the people here. Were gonna have to cancel that festival"nezumi replied but they spoke up
"No!"oscar spoke up making them all eye him as he listened to something ozpin told him
"Look…they may have the key but we have the maiden. Knowing their previous actions they'll try to bargain with us. But…news must have spread quick about rosemary being here along with the resutrction of diego being a monster. We need to do that tomorrow…they need something to keep them calm in their time of need"oscar said with a sympathetic look with ironwood staring at him for a moment sighing
"Then you can continue the festival. But we need security for the fesitiivtes…everyone get a good nights rest for tonight. You've had a long day"ironwood said walking away as they all did. But may noticed reese sprinting off with tears running down her face seeing arslan looking distraught as she walked over to her
"Hey want me to talk to her? I know whats its like to loose a teammate"may offered with the havan student pausing before nodding as she walked into the academy to find a nice place to cry her eyes out
Walking in after her right now may searched for reese as it didn't take her long. She found her in the dorms in a hallway leaning against a wall sobbing her faces into her hands right now. May sighed walking over calling to her
"Hey reese…you doing okay over here"may said taking a spot near her startling her as the skater looked down in complete sorrow
"Your asking if i'm okay? How can i be okay? My teammate is dead…dead…dead…dead"reese cried and cried with the tears running down her face. With may sighing finding this to be hard but thinking of something she pulled the skater into a side embrace holding her close

"I lost my leader and teammates during the fall. I heard them die while i ran away carrying my best friend in my arms after he got his legs torn off"may started with reese flinching right now as she continued
"I just ran and ran that day during the fall. It was…hard because when they called for someone to identify some bodies. They called out my teams name…i…i run over and umm…i see brawnz and roy…managled. I um….nolan was suffering himself but uh god…i think i cried my eyes out for two weeks straight. My dad spent all night consoling me telling me i did all i could"may said as reese sniffed

As reese sat their for a moment before choking on a sob burying her face into her chest making may feel awkward. What felt like forever reese cried herself to sleep as may stared at her not wanting to leave her in the hallway. Velvet noticed this shaking her head"just get in…its fine besides i got two other people to cuddle for the night. "Velvet said with may sighing slipping off her shoes and jacket before slipping into the hammock as reese cuddled up next to her as the sniper soon drifted to sleep wondering how tomorrow will be
Meanwhile back at the unseen eyes fortress right now selket was waiting in the main tent for the others right now. As sangie soon came back into the room with savva and a now incontrol epsilon of her host growling and grumbling to herself
"Oh goody your here…because i want good news. Apparently my daughter failed with the idiotic gangster causing it"selket said a hoyt stared at rosemary who stuck her tongue out at him
"Hold up! No offense but we didn't know that reinhart would be with em…or jenna! Seriously it just made us cause chaos in the kingdom or whatever."hoyt said as that was the only positive to this
"Only dam positive to this entire thing. But lucky for you i got good and bad news. Which one you want first"savva asked as sleket wanted to hear their bad news first

Undoing the latches on it he opened it to reveal the sword inside of it which made selket smile as her tail swayed around in joy seeing that
