Chapter 28:Meeting The Parents
Meanwhile in the training field of the academy right now training for the day again was eden and pyrrha. But their time the two seemed to be more akin with their maiden powers. As pyrrha as busy squaring off against raven right now.
As the two warriors got locked in a brief but short power struggle. The two blades created sparks but pyrrha slide her sword off of raven katana. She began to deliver a flurry of slashes directed to the women. But she kept blocking them as their blades kept clanging with one another
Pyrrha was confusing on keeping herself alive along with staying on defensive. As raven soon pushed her back quickly sheathing her katana a few times as it glowed blue. Flicking her blade forward she launched a ice ball at her. Pyrrha actived her maiden powers as she fired a stream of fire stopping the projectile from hitting her
Before pyrrha could react raven jumepd through the flames bringing her crimson blade down slahsing at pyrrha making her stumble back. Though she breathed to relax as she did something to her shield. Focusing her maiden powers she coated it in flames as she smirked at her which raven noticed
"If you think you can beat with that you have alot to learn"Raven said activating her own maiden powers as she whipped her blade down two fingers. As she did the blade started to slowly be coated in a bright pink flame igntiing it in fire
Before pyrrha knew it raven uwpard slashed her blade launching a arch of pink fire at her. Though pyrrha let her wings out as she flapped them up flying over her as she reeled her shield back throwing straight for raven
Raven raised her blade to block the hit but pyrrha activated her semblance and with a flick of her wrist moved the blade to the right. This resulted in her shield hitting her square in the chest launching raven back as she skitted to a stop burying her katana in the ground. As she continued their brawl
With eden she was pratcing her maiden powers with summer as she summoned a bow made of ice. Then she notched a arrow back firing it a few times into some dummies. As she went further launching several ice shards into the target. As the dummies all froze before shattering into small pieces of ice
"Good job. Rae lets call it a day"summer called out
As just in time raven had pyrrha in a chokehold along with pyrrha returning it. The two where locked in some strange positon like they were a pretzel. Though the two let each other go panting a little right now
"Okay you almost had me their nikos"Raven said panting
"Almost? I did have you…but you cheated and played dirty"pyrrha replied panting herself
"Not everyone will play fair. Especially salem….though since your training yesterday you two are improving alot."summer complimented as they all deactivated their powers as they faded away
"I know right. Man i can't wait to try using my semblance with my maiden powers….miyuki never had one but…giant fist covered in ice seems cool"eden replied looking at the positives
"Your right. But…lets hope the others had an easier time than us today. Because i could go for a small break right now. Maybe go check on tai or zwei"raven stated
"I might join you. Though…i wonder how everyone else was on that outpost mission"summer replied though suddenly they saw several people rushing past them in the hallways as pyrrha noticed neptune passing by
"Neptune…whats going on are we under attack?"pyrrha asked as he stopped to stare at them
"No the others came back from the outpost and some of them got hurt pretty bad"neptune answered concerning them right now
"Come on lets go i better not find may missing a leg or something"Eden added as they agreed to follow him to the front of the school
Infront of the school right now was glynda along with ironwood with some others. As they arrived summer approached them as she saw the trucks pulling up with the others
"James what happened?"summer asked as he turned to them
"I don't know all i got from bishop was that they have some injured. Along with that they ran into a new grimm"ironwood said confusing them
But the truck bed doors opened as rushing out where some miltia carrying ramierz on a stretcher as he had his shirt taken off with his back abanged up. As their was reese cltuhing her side that was bleeding heavily as she groaned in pain. With hairett looking around for bonnet but went wide eyed
As bonnet was being carried on a stretcher witha breathing mask on with medics by her side bringing her to their makeshift medical office
"Shes got abrasion on her left lung along with a fracture on her leg. Prep a blood transfusion now"A medic said rushing the three inside as the others piled out but xander looked scared right now. Along with nix covering her face horrified on what she saw with fenix looking stunned
"Fen? Hey man what happened out their?"Asher asked walking over as the lion stared at him. Then he stared at glynda who noticed this
"Gather the others…we….we need to talk right now"fenix ordered as she nodded
Quickly they summoned mostly everyone to the office right now. As they gathered up with confused looks as hairett kept panicking in a chair for her girlfriend right now. With elm comforting her to keep her calm. With cardin sighing as he pressed his fingers on his forehead
"Guys can you tell us what happened? I was going to watch a movie with some of the others students tonight"Cardin asked
"Yeah and what happened to my partner out their. I'm only here to hear what happened to her"Arslan added with sun tail swaying around as glynda eyed them down
"Care to explain what happened? You were sent to scout out and find the problem in that outpost. But you send me a message that sounded like i only got half the information"glynda questioned with all of them staying silent as mercury swallowed rubbing his arms
"Well um…when we got their the entire place was a mess. I mean…boides where everywhere and…they were torn to shreds. Like an animal killed them"mercury started
"An animal? So what a bunch of grimm overan an outpost that close to the capital"jazmine questioned but her father bushed his beard
"Or their may have been talon forces along with a grimm knight. It may one that is able to cloak its appearance"ghira suggested
"No maya is dead but their could be a new one"Falk corrected
Although the others continued but they all ehsiantly looked at each other on who they saw their
"Well your all not gonna love this…sangie broke out of a jail and shes in vacou!"may quickly said stunning them as marian growled hearing she was here. But nadia was their as her eye began to twitch for a moment before she snapped. The tiger growled in rage slamming her hand into a table several times hard
"That bitch broke out of jail! I thought i made sure she woudln't move for the rest of her life! I beat hersenseless….how the hell is she even back!"nadia shotued in rage with her wife placing a hand on her shoulder shocked to see her this mad. With carmine growling herself
"That women….ohhh please tell me you killed her"carmine asked
"No but ummm….well how do we put this….we uhhh ran into another talking grimm"mercury slowly said which made them all pause for a moment right now. That their was another grimm that can talk with neptune blinking confused
"So wait it has a soul?"neptune questioned but soon enough nix started to break down sobbing right now. As it attracted their attention as she was ugly sobbing into her hands as lisa was their walking over to console her friend.
"Dear why are you crying? Did someone you know get statinoned as that outpost"lisa questioned but the snow leopard flinch seeing her. As they stayed silent for a moment as declan noticed his son visible shaking with tears on his face
Declan walked over and bent down to get down on his level as he held him in his arms
"Son why are you shaking? Still a little shaken up to see a talking grimm huh"declan joked but his son decided to reveal what that grimm was
"It was uncle diego"xander spoke up which made them go quiet for a moment. With his father pulling his back to see him with a scared look as tears ran down his face fast. But that made no sense to them
"Thats makes no sense…we buried taupe back in menagerie. We buried those bones or whatever that were his"yumi replied but may stared at the others who ran into the hound before
"Yeah bones…just like conri was when we tossed him in the ocean. Then he came back as a giant monster"may stated as they all flinched at that statement
With all of them realizing what they meant right now as nezumi gasped in shock right now hearing this. Vance went wide eyed as asher slowly went wide eyed as anger started to boil in his veins right now. With lisa looking shocked as she began to seeth in rage with tears breaking. But declan stood their in silence before snarling as his tail began to thrash in rage
"They stole my best friends bodie! They….they what type of person does that to someone! He suffered enough and they force my friends corpse to become some walking zombie!"declan shouted in utter rage with ambroise growling as he crossed his arms
"So what? They bringing back the dead grimm knights or something bodies."ambroise mentioned making some scared as raven went wide eyed as she hugged herself horrified
"No…no meli…i…i…they are not turning her into some monster. I'm heading back to the anima and i'm going to grab her bodie. They are not making another person go through that type of suffering"raven frimly said ready to leave but will stopped her

"No…no will is on to something. Conri bones must have been experiment on or had something done to him. When we saw him he looked like his flesh has returned but it looked rotten on some parts of it. Like he was a walking corpse"carmine deduced with will nodding
"Question did you burn the bones of i know we burned the bones of wu shui for his final wish for his ashes to be spread. But what of the others?"will asked as they thought about it for a moment with asher going wide eyed
"We didn't burn casta bones…shes buried back in deepwald. "Asher mentioned as joining them was arrstra who was disgusted to hear this
"We also had that poor nico kid buried i think. His parents buried him at the village they stoped in"arrastra added with carmine nodding
"We burned the cyclops knight, beringal along with the tempstas knights bones. But for kiyo….aarne….rav…jacks…and weavers we didn't burn their bones. Which means she…she might have brought them back from the dead"Carmine said as they believed her
"You mean how these two are here. Wait…wait are you saying all the grimm knights that died…are just being brought back from the dead!"emerald shouted in fear as others agreed

"That we will need to tell our patrols to keep an eye out for it. That if sighted that their to shoot it on sight and kill it. Then bring its bone back for a proper burial and burning….i'm sorry we need to make hard choice"ironwood said coldly
As some of them where in utter shock to hear this as lisa walked over slapping the man hard across the face. Ironwood looked to see her in tears as the women growled at him
"You are a piece of scum…i'm sure some of us are thinking this. Its your fault for falling under that women control, you let your guard down. You got all those children killed, their deaths are on your hands"lisa said before turning away to walk away. They all found that unsettling to hear but they all called it a night right now. Once they did ironwood stood their in the office with glynda and theodore right now
Thedore sighed"it seems we hit a snag….we shall discuss a new plan shortly"theodore said leaving for the night as glynda looked to see the general with a hurt look
"James…none of that was your fault we need to make a hard choice"glynda said but he brushed her off deciding to call it a night as he wanted to process this.
The night sky was out still right now as in the walker residents they where in the process of getting ready still for their guest for the night. As robyn was preparing dinner for the knight as she wore a olive colored sleelvess dress revealing her bust with some black charater shoes with a set of red lipstick
As asani, zoey and nadia wearing something similar to what they wore for the diner at the blair residents on menagerie. While for akata she was their wearing an icy blue oversized dress that revealed her bust along with her belly bump. As fiona wore a maroon colored sweater with a black skirt and brown charater shoes on.
As they where waiting for malcolm and his wife to arrive they talked about what was discussed early. Along with that all of the mimic babies where in a kennel in the living room sleeping. With dusk watching over them as dawn layed by the table curled up
"So what happened early was not messed up to hear at all in my opinion"asani mentioned with a hand on her face

"God i feel terrible for those people. I understand they want to save him but….the general does have a point. We don't have many blessed weapons we gotta save them for salem"zoey said with robyn sighing as she stirred a pot filled with pasta right now adding some seasoning to it
"I know james didn't want to say that to them. But we need to make hard calls….mckay was an acception because of that chimera grimm"robyn stated as they couldn't agree more

That being a women in her late sixties with pale skin with silver grey hair but it was tied to be blonde colored. It reached her back with her having dark red eyes with her being shorter than malcolm. But she had a skinny and slender build
While she wore a brown coat with black fur trim on the collar along with that undenreath she wore a black sleevless dress that showed her bust slihglty. While she had on red high heels with red lipstick on. With a silver wedding ring on with a diamond on the center of it as she carried a purse

The women stood in the door way before clearing her throat"can you please step aside i want to meet my daughter"marian said in a rude tone as asani let them inside
"Great she seems peachy"She thought closing the door behind them. As immediately dawn ran over greeting the new face jumping onto malcolm legs as he laughed
"Heyya girl whoa your energetic tonight"malcom said as dawn tried to greet marian but she visible back up staring at her

"Hello my name is nadia walker. I'm uh involved with your daughter pleasure to meet you"nadia said offering her a hand as the women stared at her before visible backing up which she noticed wondering if she did something wrong
Akata looked at her weird"uhhh something wrong miss?"she asked with the women looking at her husband leaning over
"You didn't tell me that person my daughter was marrying was a faunus. I thought it would be a man"marian whsiepred but thanks to their enhanced hearing they heard it which made it very well known how marina viewed her already
Nadia looked down upset with her ears flopping over but she wasn't gonna give up and prove to her she was right for this women daughter. Zoey came back down after putting dawn away as she sat down
"Why don't we sit down and eat diner. Along with getting to know each other more"zoey suggested as they all sat down for dinner. They all began to eat their diner for the night as they wanted to start conversation. But the whole time marian kept poking at her food
"Oh do you not um like it"nadia asked as the women stared at her as she has some pasta with some chicken
"I don't eat meat dear"marian said but interally robyn scoffed because she knew that was a lie. With nadia bowing her head
"Sorry um i didn't know but uh well what do you do. "Nadia asked with a nervous smile as marian huffed
"Did you not tell her what we even do dear"marian asked her husband who narrwod his gaze toward her for her tone
"No it never came up i was getting to know the women our daughter was engaged too"malcom said staring directly at his wife who rolled her eyes eating the pasta with a fork

"We simply ship goods along with that we have a line of clothing that is very well known across remnant. But my daughter didn't want any of that but instead wanted to be a huntress."marian said before scoffing
"Gave that up rather quickly too. Only gleaming side to it was your became apart of the atlas council."she added sounding very rude which zoey picked up on as robyn sighed
"And i've told you it was something i loved. But well….uh you remember my daughter fiona"robyn said gesturing to fiona who looked away as marian looked disgusted seeing her right now

"No where not friends. She is my adoptive mother along with it applying to my baby sister over here"Zoey answered gesturing to asani who had a hand on her cheek with marian scoffing again
"So it seems. Tell me where are your parents dear along with that what do you even do"marian asked the tiger. As the tiger flinched hearing her parents be mentioned as her ears flopped over with her tail sagging under her seat as she sighed messing with her food
"My um…parents were a human and faunus. My umm mother was a faunus with my father being human but um….well…they uh died in an accident a very long time ago. But uh i help run an orphanage and boxing gym. Since i loved to box"nadia answered hoping that will make her happy

This made nadia on the verge of tears right now as she sniffed rubbing her face. As she got up from the table sighing
"If you'll excuse me i um…i think i'm gonna go to bed early for the night"nadia said leaving the doom heading upstairs but robyn saw her now wife on the verge of tears. With her having enough of this as she called her mother out
"Get out now"robyn ordered making them go quite as marian scoffed
"Are you going to be that rude an–"marian was stopped
"No! It was a mistake ever inviting you here i thought you where past your racist and sexist attitude after so many years. But no!"Robyn said before grabbing her mother by the arm forcing her onto her feet as she walked to the door opening it placing her outside of the house right now
"What are you doing?!"marian shouted in annoyance as her daughter glared at her
"Kicking you out. Dad be a doll and escort mother back to your resident. I need to console the women i love who heart you just broke"robyn said with malcolm walking to the door with marian having another word

"If you can't accept that…the i think you need to leave…i need to comfort my wife. Whos probably still heartbroken after losing her son"robyn said slamming the door in her face. With her father escorting marian away as robyn turned to face them as zoey sighed
"Let me guess shes a racist and sexist jerk"zoey joked as fiona sighed

"I'm checking on her"robyn said as she immediately walked upstairs as she quickly entered the room the two shared. It was a simple room with a nightstand on the left side with a dresser on the far corner along with a window that showed the outside. The moonlight was peeking in as nadia was sobbing on the bed right now quietly
Immediately robyn walked over placing a hand on her wife shoulder making her flinch but she saw it was her. With robyn just holding her in her arms not wanting to let go wanting to comfort her for the night right now the best she could. But at the academy someone was watching it from afar smiling to themselves they found someone
It was soon another bright new morning over the kingdom of vacou right now. As inside the academy deciding to come by for the day was asani along with fiona after last night events. With dusk by their side as they left dawn with her babies to comfort their mother. With some of the others being told what happened
"So your grandma on your mom side is a big racist and sexist"earl bluntly said as may smacked the back of his head with fiona sighing
"She is. Mom is buys consling well mom…that weird to say but…we thought of coming here for the day to give them some space"fiona replied

"Shut up! I could see my dad again after we lost him for the first time and again…you all where probably gonna execute him when you captured him before!"sombra shouted in rage as marrow put his hands up to calm her down
"Kid calm down a–"he was stopped as she socked him hard in the jaw making him fall to the ground as he clutched his jaw
Sombra growled through the tears before running out of the room as they tried to stop her

"Bishop i'm gonna go talk to her"marrow said as he was walking out of the room but sun grabbed him by his wrist glaring at him

"Shut up! Kid i didn't want your friend in that little jail cell as much as the next person. Right now that girl is troubled and i'm with you all on trying to free that man and have a chance to save him. But right now where at war…it…i've lost alot of friends right now. But they made their choice let me go"marrow said before leaning toward him
"Or i can break your wrist. Piss me off and you'll see a whole new me"marrow warned
The monkey faunus wasnt letting go before he decided to. As the monkey faunus chased after his girlfriend to check on her with marrow following after. Noticing their current situation mercury sighed placing his hands behind his head
"I'm going into town…wanna come with me emie"mercury asked
"Sure beats doing nothing. Maybe we can find some work since the general suspended us all from doing patrols."emerald replied as they all began to separate for the day right now.
As walking through the halls right now was velvet, trifa, may, jazmine along with dawn. Who kept pacing around them as may sighed rubbing her face
"This is just sad right now. I mean that guys might be a walking corpse…but that doesn't mean they tell his family straight to their face their gonna kill them"may said

"That guy is my uncle trif…what you gonna go help those grunts kill someone i view like family"jazmine growled in rage but she shook her head before sharing a look with may and velvet
"Don't you two remember how he praticuary begged to be killed. I'm sure the other who got forced into becoming that wanted to die to."trifa said as they where about to argue but the two stayed silent. As they thought about how broken wu felt hearing he might have to live with the chimera grimm. With may thinking on the others probably reacted as she sighed because she was right
"God your right….i didn;t take that into account. That guy might be full of immense trauma"may said with jazmine looking down not taking that into account right now with her sighing as her ears tiwtched
"Maybe your right…but…my cousin and aunt should at least get to say their goodbye"jazmine said
"I can agree on that. Though we should check on that reese girl maybe shes all better after getting stabbed"trifia said as they agreed on that. But as they walked away dawn stopped for a moment sniffing the air like she smelled someone.
"Dawn come on!"may called out as the grimm pet scmapered after them. Though the grimm pet should have investigated because someone was following them smiling to herself she found her soulmates again
What felt like minutes the group kept walking for what felt like forever right now as they kept walking to the medical area. As they got over their stepping out of the room was reese who was on her two feet with katherine finishing up a checkup on her sighing
