Disclaimer!
I own nothing of marvel, nor do I own anything from Dungeons and Dragons or Pathfinder! I only own OC/original characters I make.
"What happened?" A young man asked while he was floating through a dark void of space before a green tinted videogame like screen appeared in front of him.
[Greetings. You have been selected for reincarnation as an agent of the multiversal gamers guild. You have been given a system that you are most familiar with for ease and comfort while we operate your backstory in a randomized world of our choosing.
Your job now is to go through character creation.]
As soon as the young man finished reading the game screen in front of him, he saw a new game screen appear that reminded him of a character creation screen from a Bethesda game fused with character creation from the Dark Souls/Elden Ring series.
His name had been randomly generated and he couldn't change it. However, he was able to change his new body and now stands at six foot two with fair skin and jet-black hair combed down to his chin. His eyes are black, and he is dressed in a basic tank top and hoodie.
His new name is Abel Van Helsing, and he couldn't shake the feeling that he had heard that name before.
[Wonderful. Now we are going to roll a d12 to determine your stats and before you ask. This system is kind of a fusion between Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder and the Elder Scrolls series.
Rolling d12!
Strength: 5
Dexterity: 11
Constitution: 3
Intelligence: 5
Wisdom: 9
Charisma: 3]
[You don't have a class system, but you can feel free to transform yourself into any kind of archtype you desire. But things aren't looking good for you after some bad dice rolls.
Anyway, moving onto the rest of your build.]
[Heritage
Name: Demon Hunter Bloodline
You come from a long line of 'Hunters' who slay demons of the night in order to service the light. You now deal 20% additional damage to all 'humanoid' races that aren't human, mutant or mutate specifically.
You gain plus 2 to all stats!]
[Feat
Name: Vancian Magic
You have the gift of Vancian magic which yields great rewards at a great cost of limited 'Spell' usage.
This feat has unlocked four Cantrip slots and two Spell slots for you to use.
This feat is unique to you and qualifies as an X-Gene mutation since nobody else can use this type of magic.
Plus 1 to INT and WIS]
"That certainly helps out with those unbalanced stats, but either way I'm building towards a fast character…Wait. What were those other races called mutant and mutate?" Abel asked with confusion since he had never heard of those races before outside of some trashy sci-fi flick about a mutant monster or something.
[Oh right. As an added bonus, your knowledge of the world you're being sent to has been erased. It helps with emersion and prevents any…Mishaps from happening.
Anyway, character creation is just about wrapped up and soon you'll be on your way…
Just got to finish a few things…
Done.]
After seeing that final message. Abel suddenly felt the world around him fly by at speeds he couldn't even comprehend before his vision grew hazy and he passed out.

"Damn, my head." Able said as he woke up and noticed that he was in the middle of some forest, and he heard a lot of shouting and screaming near him.

"What?" Abel barely had time to understand what kind of adventure he had just been forced into before a bullet barely missed his head and hit a nearby tree.
"There's the mutant! We've got it cornered!" A person shouted in anger before Abel stood up and ran as fast as he possibly could. Abel didn't care about the logistics of the quest and simply focused on staying alive. So, he ran as fast as he could.
Thankfully, his weird ass build had come in clutch thanks to his speed, but his weak body meant that he couldn't keep the run going on forever, and he had to somehow survive twenty minutes of being the target of some kind of witch hunt.
As he ran, Abel also had memories come to his mind about the family he had in this world and how he walked into his home and saw them butchered by the people chasing him.
Abel had tears streaming down his face from the memories. He didn't know them but somehow, he did. The memories were his and the loss felt like heavy weights inside his chest. However, with sadness came anger and a desire to somehow get revenge but Abel knew that idea was idiotic.
An unknown number of violent people armed with weapons against him who was stuck running for his life wouldn't end well for him. Life isn't a superhero movie where he could take down dozens of people with no issue.
"God, I wish I was Neo from the Matrix right now. I could just fly out of this hell." Abel said to himself while he ran until his legs started to hurt and he ended up taking shelter inside of a hollowed-out tree.
To make sure he wouldn't be discovered, Abel grabbed some nearby bushes and hid himself inside the tree with the bushes covering him. He stayed as still as possible and thankfully, the mixture of pollen and smoke from torches, the dogs couldn't smell him. Or maybe they didn't have tracking dogs which was likely. Either way, Abel was content to simply wait in his hiding space without making any noise.
Abel felt himself falling into some kind of trance and his perception of time felt muddied as he waited and waited until the angry crowd moved on while muttering curses and hatred about Abel's existence.
'Why? Just why? Why is this happening? I didn't even do anything.' Abel thought to himself while his emotions came back in force, and he had to choke on his own voice to avoid crying while tears fell from his eyes.
"Don't fear Abel. You aren't alone." A mysterious voice said to Abel through telepathic means. Abel knew about telepathy from things like Star Wars and recognized that this wasn't a different personality or something and instead it was someone speaking to him.
"Who are you…Wait. Can you hear me? Is this like a cell phone call?"
The voice inside of Abel's mind simply chuckled light heartedly before speaking.
"Yes, I can hear you and my name is Charles Xavier. One of my friends is actually about to reach your location and rest assured that the…crowd has dispersed." Charles said telepathically to Abel who didn't see any other out in this situation. He has to trust a total strange who is inside of his head somehow, and the worst part is that Abel felt as if the man could be trusted.
Before Abel could say anything or ask more questions, he saw the bushes in front of him start moving, making him back himself deeper into the hollowed-out tree bark before the bushes were removed and he saw a blue furred beast like person dressed in black and yellow shorts and an open vest of the same colors while also having glasses over his eyes.
"Hello there, young man." The beast said while Abel felt as if he was somehow frozen in fear. "Apologies, I must be scaring you a bit more than that crowd from earlier. My name is Hank McCoy and I'm actually a mutant like you. I'm here to help." Hank said before extending his hand towards Abel who hesitantly reached out his own hand and shook hands with Hank.
Hank helped Abel out of the tree and the two of them walked deeper into the forest while Abel kept looking over his shoulders in case any other villagers decided to show up, but sure enough when they reached a clearing, Abel saw a massive jet and waiting outside of it was a bald headed man in a metal wheelchair alongside a slightly blood covered man dressed in his own black and yellow outfit.
Abel couldn't help but take note of how the man in the chair was dressed in a nice-looking suit and was seemingly talking with the blood covered man about his 'conduct' with crowd that had chased Abel.
"Is this the brat?" The gruff looking man asked while turning to look at Abel before the man in the chair moved towards him and Hank.
"Greetings Abel. It's nice to meet you in person instead of talking to you telepathically." The man said before Abel figured out that this was Charles, the man who was inside of his head moments ago.
"Hello…Sir. Thanks for saving me. I don't think I could have survived tonight without help, but if you're looking for a reward, I don't have anything. My family was poor and I'm the only one left now."
"Rest assured Abel that we didn't help you because we wanted a reward. We helped you because nobody should be hunted and harmed like you were. Sadly though, your case is more common than it should be." Charles replied in a sad tone of voice.
"It is?"
"Yup. You ain't the first mutant to be hunted down for being different kid." The gruff man said back before taking out a cigar and lighter before smoking it.
"You've already met Hank. My friend here is Logan and we are all mutants like you and I would like to bring you to a safe place Abel. A place where mutants like you can learn to hone your gifts and help show people that mutants aren't people to be feared." Charles said while Abel felt his tension start to subside a bit before he scratched the back of his head.
"I don't really have any other options. All I've got now are the clothes on my back." Abel said bluntly. "So, I'll go with you, and I promise I won't cause you any trouble." Abel promised before Logan started to chuckle.
"Kid at this school, trouble is happening on a damn near daily basis." Logan said before Charles turned his chair around and the group boarded the jet that quickly took to the air while Abel sat in one of the free chairs and saw that the pilot of the jet was another person around his age.
He was in another black and yellow suit with some weird visor over his eyes, but Abel was a bit too shy to talk right now before he saw a new message appear before his eyes.

[Also, you might be a bit worried but let me tell you now that nobody or force in this universe can detect the power of the game or know that you've been sent to this world.]
Abel couldn't help but feel extremely strange with how things had just transpired for him. He suddenly had psychic powers given to him and he knew how each of the Cantrips and how the Spell worked. Also, the fact that people didn't know he was out of place was a good thing, but he still felt strange about everything.
His life was suddenly uprooted from under him before he even had a real chance to live his life…He missed his parents and his three siblings in the small village just outside of Transylvania.
Still, maybe he could make the best of this situation. These 'mutants' seemed nice enough and until he was given a proper reason, Abel saw no reason he couldn't stay with them for a while so he could properly get himself together.
END!
A/N: Did I basically make a videogame character with physic powers on top of having Vancian magic along with the fact that I've already written a story with a psychic protagonist? Yes, yes, I did…Why do I do these things to myself?
Anyway, remember to fav, follow and review.
Meep.
