Percy's POV

After Tyche and Melite left, as I had planned, I stayed to talk to my friends and Chiron. When I went over to Chiron, he said, "I have to admit, I was not expecting that news today Percy," looking slightly amused he asked, "Should I be expecting any more children of yours to come here in twelve years or so?"

I chuckled and thought, if there was anyone who It would be safe to tell about the twins, it would definitely be Chiron, and maybe when the time comes he can help me make sure that they get to Camp Half-Blood Safely, so I replied, "Actually yes, I have a set of fraternal twins here in New York that will have to come here eventually. Their names are Hope and Charlie white. When the time comes I will do everything I can to make sure they get here safely, but if you could help as well, I would really appreciate it,"

Chiron nodded, and replied, "Of course Percy, when the time comes, I will do what I can to help,"

I thanked him, and we talked for a bit longer before I went to talk to my friends. Next, I went and found Grover, I said "Hey Grover, how have you been?"

he replied, "Good, although I will have to leave again soon,"

I nodded, I know he is one busy satyr these days as he's working to preserve the remaining wild places, and because of that, I don't get to talk to him all that often. He said, "I think the next time I come back here, I might propose to Juniper, but I'm really nervous,"

It was my turn to be surprised, but I replied, "Go for it, I'm sure she will say Yes, the two of you have been together for a while now, I'm sure she's just waiting for you to propose,"

Grover replied, "Do you really think so?

I replied, "Yes, she loves you, I'm sure she will be thrilled,"

he replied, "I guess I'm just really nervous, not just what you would expect but because I'm away a lot and she can't come with me, and after what Annabeth did to you when the two of you seemed so happy. I'm probably just being paranoid, I don't think she would cheat, but I am still kind of worried about it regardless,"

Although I'm not really a hugger these days, I felt like Grover needed one, and I still consider him my best friend, so I hugged him and replied, "Grover, I really don't think she would ever cheat on you, sure I thought the same thing about Annabeth until I walked in on her with another guy, but you know Juniper better than me, do you really think she would ever have another guy on the side when you are away?"

He replied, "I don't think so, but I'm just not sure, and that's what bothers me,"

I nodded, and then replied, "Well, I don't know if I'm the best person to be giving relationship advice, but I think that if you're that worried about her loyalty, talk to her, admit that you realize your worry is probably irrational, partially caused by your being away so much, and partly by what Annabeth did to me, she may be a little upset by you doubting her, but if she has nothing to hide she will probably just reassure you that you don't have anything to worry about, and if I'm wrong you might be able to tell from how she reacts to you bringing up the subject,"

Grover nodded, "I will talk to her, and depending on how the conversation goes I might propose to her,"

I nodded, and then he spoke again, "I guess I Don't have to ask what you have been doing lately, I'm assuming you have probably been helping Tyche with Melite until she got old enough to become a full-fledged goddess,"

I replied, "That's one of the things I have been doing, but I also spend a lot of time with Apollo, he is my boyfriend after all, I also visit my parents, and I have also been spending a lot of time with my other children, "

I had decided I was okay with telling Grover about my other kids, after all, he's my best friend, and I was sure I could trust him to keep the twins secret.

He said, "You have other children?"

I replied, "Yes, counting Melite, I have four, two girls and two boys, the other girl and one of the boys are a set of fraternal twins,"

Grover's eyes widened, he hadn't been expecting that and I chuckled at his expression, I continued, "I didn't plan to have so many kids in such a short period of time, but I wasn't careful enough to avoid it, so now I have four kids, but since I'm not as restricted by the ancient laws as the other gods are, I often visit them and help their mothers take care of them. Apollo and I have an open relationship so I wasn't cheating on him by being with those women, besides the point that I got with him after I had already been with them. Grover nodded and said, "It sounds like you're pretty busy these days,"

I chuckled before agreeing, "Yes, add onto that my duties as a god, And as camp director here, and it's a good thing gods can be in more than one place at a time,"

"Wait, they can?" Grover asked.

"Yes," I replied and explained how.

Grover said, "I kind of wish I could do that, then I could be with Juniper and still protect the wild,"

I smiled at him sympathetically, we talked for a little longer, the campers had already dispersed and gone back to their various camp activities, I wasn't quite ready to go back to Olympus yet, I wanted to talk to Nico first. I hadn't really talked to him in a while, and I was wondering how he was doing, and whether he and Will had worked things out. It wasn't a huge surprise when I found them together, I said, "Nico, Will, how are you two doing these days?"

"Good," Nico replied,

"I was doing better before I found out that my boyfriend slept with you!"

I was surprised that Nico had told him, I didn't think he had planned to. To try and calm Will down I replied, "Yes Nico and I had sex the day after you broke up with him, but it was a one-time thing and you have nothing to worry about. I don't want to steal your boyfriend. Before I left that day, I encouraged him to try and fix things with you because I knew he was happier with you. Despite what we did that day, we are just friends and that's all,"

Nico spoke up, "Will, please stop. He's right there's nothing you need to worry about. I'm happy with you, I'm not going to cheat on you or leave you for him, sure I still think he's attractive, but I don't have any feelings for him, I told you that already. I only want you. Besides, I'm sure you already know that he is seeing someone now too,"

I agreed and didn't bother mentioning that technically Apollo and I have an open relationship. I wanted to calm Will, but I also knew that I hadn't been sleeping around much lately. It was partially because I have been more focused on my kids, but I also spend a lot of time with Apollo, and most of the time, he satisfies me. We didn't linger on the subject of my love life though, I'm sure the fact that I'm dating his dad makes that subject a bit awkward for Will.

Once Will calmed down, we talked for a little while longer about other things, before I went and talked to a few more of my old friends. Eventually, I decided it was time to return to Olympus. When I left I wasn't sure if I would run into Artemis or not, it depended on how bothered she was by me having a child, I couldn't help but wonder if how much I'd changed would end up costing my friendship with her. That mainly depends on her and if she is too stubborn and set in her ways to believe me and accept me now. If that's what it comes to, oh well, I'm not changing anything about who I am just to keep her as a friend.

She wasn't waiting for me at my palace, and I spent the night with Apollo without her bothering us. The next day I considered looking for her just to get the conversation over with, but I doubted she was at her palace considering that she's usually with her hunters unless there's a council meeting, and I didn't have the slightest clue where they were. I might be able to find them using one of my powers from my heroes domain, but doing that might just annoy her more. Technically I could Iris message Thalia and ask her where they were, but I decided to wait for her to come to me. I might still Iris message Thalia since I hadn't seen her in a while, but I might not bother asking where the hunters were. If Artemis wants to talk, she could come to me.

It seemed like the fates had other ideas though, because the next day I sensed a demigod praying for help, her prayer was vaguely worded so a lot of other gods may have heard it too. She was just desperately praying for some higher power to help her get out of the terrible situation that she was in. Through my heroes domain, I figured out where she was. I was also sure she had no clue that she was a demigod, she was just desperate for anyone to help her.

Note the next few paragraphs mention some possibly triggering things. including implied rape and abuse although I don't go into the worst details. I put another not once the dark section ends.

Once I got to the house where I knew she was. I didn't bother knocking or ringing the doorbell, She needed help to escape from her abusive uncle and because he's mortal there would be no way he could hurt me. Because of that, there was no reason to pretend and be nice at first. When he met me at the door, Between using my domains and quickly checking the man's mind, yes gods can do that, I knew he was the girl's uncle, and I learned exactly what he had been doing to her ever since she had moved in with him after her Dad and stepmom died in an accident. I'm sure the man was about to ask why I was there, but before he could I asked, "Where is she?" I could sense she was in a room down the hall.

"Why do you want to know?"

I think he was hoping that I was as awful as he was because I knew he essentially pimps out his own niece to anyone he can find who is sick enough to want to rape a teenager, although he had also raped her himself on a few different occasions.

I replied, "You are a disgusting excuse for a human being to treat your niece the way you do, so I'm here to save her. Now tell me where she is and get out of my way or I might just kill you,"

I was seriously tempted to kill him for how he had treated his niece, Amy, but it seemed he was determined not to lose his main source of income, which made sense since I had also learned he was a gambling addict and was in debt. He was using his niece to try and pay off his debts, and occasionally for his own sick pleasure. He tried to punch me in the face, but I dodged it, and I punched him instead, knocking him unconscious. I Walked past him and headed back the hallway toward the room where I knew Amy was.

I opened the door to the room and quickly figured out what the sick asshole had been about to do before I had shown up. It wasn't that hard to guess considering that the poor girl was handcuffed to her bed. She was afraid of me at first, probably thinking that I was just another horrible person coming to assault her. As I walked toward her I said, "I'm not here to hurt you, I'm here to save you,"

Note if you skipped those paragraphs you should be okay from now on.

I don't think she fully believed me until I used my powers to undo the handcuffs. Although that definitely shocked her as well. I guess that is understandable considering she doesn't know that gods are real, I would give her that talk once I get her out of this place. Once she was freed, we left the room. Her uncle was still unconscious as we passed him. I may not have killed the man, but I also wasn't planning on letting him get away from this unscathed. As we passed him I placed a curse on the asshole, he honestly deserved much worse but I figured Hades would look after that when he eventually dies, and after the curse I placed on him, he might die sooner than he would have otherwise. Once we were outside, she asked, "Who are you?"

I replied, "That question requires a long answer that you should probably be sitting down for, but to start with, my name is Perseus, but if you want to you can call me Percy," I noticed a park not far from the house and asked if she wanted to sit on one of the benches there to talk so I could explain everything. She agreed so we walked over to it. Once we sat down on a bench I started explaining, I told her that I had come because I had heard her prayer.

She replied, " So are you saying you're some sort of god or something?"

I replied, "Actually yes, I am, it may be hard to believe, but I am one of the Greek gods, and so is your mother,"

"If my mother is a goddess, why hasn't she done anything to help me? Why did she just leave me here!"

I did my best to explain about the ancient laws, and monsters, although I couldn't really blame her for being angry that her mother hadn't done anything to help her. Once she had calmed down a bit, I told her about the different safe places for demigods and asked which one she'd like to go to.

I knew who her mother was, and if she chose the hunters there would probably be some arguments, but honestly, they would probably be the best place for her after what she had been through. Regardless I would take Amy to whichever group she wanted. If her mother shows up to try and stop me, well there are certainly some things that I would say to her to point out why the hunters were the best choice for her after what she had been through.

Sure enough, she chose the hunters, after she said that, I replied, "alright, they travel all over the country, and I don't know where they are right now, so I just have to contact my friend to find out where they are so I can take you to them. I explained Iris messaging before asking,

"Do you trust me? I'd rather be somewhere less public when I contact her so I thought I would take you to my place so I can do it there,"

She seemed to think for a moment before replying, "Okay, I trust you, all you've done so far is help me,"

I smiled and stood before saying, "Great, then hold my hand and close your eyes," she did what I asked, and I teleported us to my palace on Olympus. Once we were there, I told her she could open her eyes, and I let go of her hand. I created a rainbow, and contacted Thalia,

"Percy!" She said, surprised after the message appeared in front of her,

After a moment to get over her surprise, she continued, "How have you been? We haven't talked in a while,"

I replied, "Good, but we will have to talk more later," I gestured for Amy to step forward so Thalia would notice her, "Thalia, this is Amy, I just rescued her from a pretty bad situation, and she wants to join the hunters, so I need to know where you are right now,"

Thalia nodded before telling me, and I replied, "Alright, I will bring her to the hunt, we can talk more while I'm there,"

Thalia replied, Okay, but Artemis isn't very happy with you right now, so you might want to be careful what you say to her,"

"Thanks, I suspected she's mad at me, but I wasn't completely sure until now, see you soon,"

Thalia replied, "You too," and then I ended the message.
