AN: Hello, I have the final chapter here. This is the epilogue, which takes place sometime in the future on the equivalent of the last episode of GX. With it, this chapter will give closure to all major characters in this series. I have been waiting for this moment for a while and liked how it turned out in the end. Also, the other half of this chapter is the final Datasheet information as well. I streamlined it here for more context of what happened in this series and other statistics as well. Hope you enjoy this chapter, leave a review with your comments and questions, and have a nice day.

Epilogue

The day of Graduation.

In the middle of the Duel Academy auditorium, Chancellor Shepard held a mic as he addressed a massive group of students, "Welcome all to this year's graduation ceremony. It is a solemn time as we bid farewell to many talented duelists from our academy." He said with a smile forming, "However, rather than being sad at their departure, let us celebrate their accomplishments while here. First, each of the head professors of Slifer Red, Ra Yellow, and Obelisk Blue shall award a graduate with a commendation for their future endeavors." He said Sienna, Glynda, and Dr. Crowler all walked to center stage, each with an envelope in hand.

"I'll start," Sienna spoke first, "I present this commendation to a student who did not officially start in Slifer Red but proved that through perseverance and effort, one can achieve greatness again in life. Despite promotion to Obelisk Blue, he still chose to be a member of the Slifer Red dorm, showing a level of loyalty I have rarely seen in students." She spoke with a smile, "Chazz Princeton!" Sienna said as the affluent Obelisk Blue walked down onto the stage. However, he did not seem willing to take the envelope, "Is something the matter?"

"Look, I know who you wanted to give this thing to." Chazz responded, "Since Jaden isn't here, you can just mail it to him."

"Jaden is still in the Savanna. He took the vacation right before graduation and missed his plane back." Sienna responded, "I could not mail this to him if I wanted to, but I don't. He did not earn this commendation, you did." She said as Chazz looked back at him, "I meant every word I just said about you, the perseverance in the face of adversity you have shown me is outstanding. Even Jaden would not have recovered the way you did, nor would he have ascended as you have at Duel Academy." She said as she offered the envelope again, "So, take this and continue to grow as a duelist of exceptional skill."

"I…Thank you." Chazz said as he accepted the envelope, "I will keep growing." He said before turning to the class, "I'll keep growing until all lightning ever strikes is The Chazz!"

"Chazz it up! Chazz it up! Chazz it up!" The students all cheered.

"Chazz it up! Chazz it up! Chazz it up!" The three Ojama brothers all appeared to join in and were not even upset to see them this time.

"Next, I will present my choice from the Ra Yellow Dorm." Glynda said, "While many students choose to stay with one deck and never change it, I know of a student who always experiment and formulates a new deck to meet any challenge. This level of ingenuity and dedication is unmatched among his peers" She spoke to the class, "Bastion Misawa!" Glynda announced as the posh Ra Yellow walked onto the stage, accepting the envelope.

"Thank you," Bastion spoke before bowing, "I hope to make you proud in the future as well."

"Just remember to relax every once and a while to let your mind recover." Glynda said, "And as well to experience the world in a way I did not." she said as Bastion nodded back. Suddenly, he noticed a flash in his peripheral vision. In turning towards it, he saw Velvet in the guest stands with her camera. She slightly lowered it to wave, hiding her blush. Bastion waved back as Glynda smiled, her knowing now for certain he understood what she meant.

"Now, for my commendation." Dr. Crowler said, "While this student and I did not get off on the most positive of starts, I value her dedication and business-savvy attitude. She even helped rectify one of my gravest errors at this institution." He said as he looked to the class, "To that, I present this award to Weiss Schnee!" the crowds cheered as the heiress Obelisk Blue walked down to accept the envelope, "I still remember you standing up to Yuri before he was about to finish me off. You truly saved my life back then. And since then, have been an excellent student that has only shown me respect."

"Thank you, Dr. Crowler." Weiss responded, "And I am sorry for how I acted after our first duel. One day, I hope to repay you with another match."

"I will hold you to that." Dr. Crowler responded. As Weiss turned around, a tear formed in the head teacher of Obelisk Blue's eyes. He tried to hide it as he and the other professor walked off stage.

Chancellor Shepard retook center stage with his mic, "And now, a representative from each grade level of the graduates shall announce their pick for the title of strongest student of the three dorms." He said as three students took the stage: Ruby, Yang, and Blake.

"From the Slifer Red Dorm, the new strongest student is," Ruby spoke with a smile, "Blair Flannigan!" she said as the maiden Slifer Red walked down, "You've come a long way since our duels in the woods."

"But you've always been a step ahead of me." Blair said as she shook Ruby's hand, "Don't worry, I'll be catching up to you soon."

"From the Ra Yellow Dorm, the new strongest student is," Yang spoke with a smile, "Tyranno Hassleberry!" she said as the dino Ra Yellow rushed down, "Dreads, it's up to you to hold the front down. But I know there's no better hands I could leave them in."

"Preciate it, Sarge." Tyranno said as he grasped her mechanical grip, "I'll be seeing you on the frontlines again, once I graduate."

"From the Obelisk Blue Dorm, the new strongest student is," Yang spoke with a smile, "Nora Valkyrie!" she said as the new electric Obelisk Blue came down, wearing a sleeveless white long coat with blue lining as her attire. "Congratulations again on passing the promotion exam, you truly earned it."

"Thanks, I hope to make a lot of people back home proud of me." Nora responded, "Especially one person."

"I'm sure he already is," Blake responded.

The six students walked off the stage as Chancellor Shepard came back again, "And last but not least, the respective for the graduating class, Alexis Rhodes, shall give a small speech." Chancellor Shepard introduced as Alexis walked onto the stage.

"Thank you." Alexis spoke to him before addressing the students, "Thank you all for coming here today to see our graduating class off to new horizons." She said with a smile forming as she looked up at the classes, "Time truly flies at Duel Academy. While our later years were not as hectic as the first ones, I still cherish all the memories we have made along the way." She spoke with her hand placed over her chest, "We have made many friends through duels, and understand one another with those duels. I know many people here would back me up in a crisis, as I would help them in the same situation." Alexis said as she closed her eyes, then opened them for her final statement, "Though we are now moving on our separate paths, we shall always be comrades. Our bonds forged here as duelists will be eternal, and nothing will ever break them. While we will face more hardships in the future, we should remember that more joy is yet to come for all of us." She said before slightly bowing her head, "Thank you, everyone. Thank you, Duel Academy. And goodbye." The crowd was stunned with silence, each lost in a moment of reflection as tears poured down their eyes.

Afterward, all the graduating students took the stage as the Chancellor began to present the diplomas. "Blake Belladonna." He said as he handed the diploma to the shadowy graduate, "Congratulations on your graduation." the Chancellor then presented the next diploma, "Chazz Princeton." He said as he handed the diploma to the affluent graduate "Congratulations on your graduation." the Chancellor then presented the next diploma, "Alexis Rhodes." He said as he handed the diploma to the lovely graduate "Congratulations on your graduation." the Chancellor then presented the next diploma, "Weiss Schnee." He said as he handed the diploma to the heiress graduate "Congratulations on your graduation." the Chancellor then presented the next diploma, "Bastion Misawa." He said as he handed the diploma to the posh graduate "Congratulations on your graduation." the Chancellor then presented the next diploma, "Yang Xiao Long." He said as he handed the diploma to the fiery graduate "Congratulations on your graduation." the Chancellor then presented the last diploma, "Ruby Rose." He said as he handed the diploma to the hooded graduate. Ruby looked down at it with pride, a smile forming on her face.

Later in the day as night began to fall, fireworks filled the sky. The graduates and others gathered in the dining hall to enjoy a fest. Off to the side, Yang enjoyed a large plate of chicken and steak as Bastion watched on, "I would recommend slowing down."

"Hey, this is the last free meal I will get out of this place, so I'm making it count." Yang responded while piling more food on her plate, "Plus I won't get food like this until I make it far in the pro leagues."

Suddenly, a new voice was heard, "I'm sure that will not take long with your skill." They turned to see the magnetic pro duelist walking towards them, "Congrats on graduating you two."

"Pyrrha, you made it!" Yang responded.

"I wasn't gonna miss today." Pyrrha responded, "And I wanted to officially welcome you to the pro leagues."

"Thanks." Yang responded, then smirked, "But while we're still friends, I'm still coming for your rank as soon as I can."

"I'll be ready for your match anytime," Pyrrha responded.

"You do have a manager set up for you, correct?" Bastion asked Yang.

"Yeah, those twins gave me the number of this guy they use." Yang responded, "Someone called Junior, he owns a club as well."

"Very good," Pyrrha said as she turned to Bastion, "And were you able to get into the university you wanted."

"Please, with his formula thesis, they were begging him to come." Yang answered for him, then held her head high, "Ruby got into the same one for their duel disk design division for her idea, which I was able to help with."

"Really, what was it?" Pyrrha asked.

"Card games on Motorcycles." Bastion said with slight indignation in his voice, "I don't know how they said yes to that one."

"Hey, I think it could work." Yang responded before turning to Bastion, "Now, I can't keep an eye on Ruby anymore, so I'm counting on you to watch her back."

"Of course," Bastion responded, "If she needs help studying, I will gladly offer my aid."

"Thanks Bastion." Yang said before finishing off her plate, "Also, I already maimed Zwei to Ruby's dorm room, so you may need to walk him some days of the week."

"Okay, that should be manage…wait, pardon?" Bastion responded in confusion as Yang checked the time.

"I think she said she's up their now." Yang said to herself before turning to the others, "I'll be right back, I got to do something." She said before leaving her plate and walking off.

A short distance away, Blake talked with Alexis. "I can't believe we got accepted to the same teaching university," Alexis said.

"I know, which means we should probably take the same flight out once we get to the mainland." Blake added, "Unless did you want to see your brother first?"

"He's been busy with Coco as her male model." Alexis responded, "She did strong-arm the chancellor to get him out of the Academy early for a photoshoot." She then turned back to Blake, "Have you heard from Zane lately?"

"He's doing well, but his heart is still weak from the GX tournament." Blake said in a slightly mournful voice, but then smiled "However, he told me that as soon as I got to the mainland, he would be waiting for me."

"I'm glad for you." Alexis said, "It may be a while away still, but do you have any idea where you want to go teach afterward?"

Suddenly a new voice was heard, "Well, Venice's academy can always use good teachers." They turned to see Sora there, offering both a candy lollipop, "Maybe this will sweeten the deal."

"Hehehehe, it's good to see you again," Alexis said as took the candy.

"Yeah, is Neo here as well?" Blake said as took the candy.

"No, she had somewhere else she had to be." Sora responded, "Besides, I don't need her to watch over me now that I'm in the solo pro leagues."

"Oh, you're finally old enough to count for that league?" Blake asked.

"Yep, my birthday was last month." Sora said before crossing his arms, "And none of you got me any gifts." He said before both girls offered him the lollipops back, which he accepted, "Thank you." The petit pro duelist said as they giggled.

Blake then looked over to see Yang waving for attention, "Well, I would love to stay and chat, but I need to go for a bit." She said with Alexis's nodding and Sora doing the same, only with candy in his mouth.

Meanwhile, Chazz and Weiss were already talking with another pro duelist guest, one whose grey suit was between their black and white respective attires, "So, both of you will be in the pro leagues." Aster said before looking at Chazz, "I'm not surprised with all the sponsorships you got."

"What can I say, I make an impression on my fans," Chazz responded. Then turned to Weiss, "But I thought you were heading towards your rematch with Seto Kaiba?"

"Not yet, before I face him, I know there is one more person I need to prove I have surpassed first." She said as the image of the military pro duelist popped into her head, "Winter, if I can beat her in the pro league, I will then be ready to challenge the head of Kaiba corporation."

"Well, she is still going strong in the league from what I heard." Aster commented, then smirked, "But if you want to reach her, you'll have to pass me first."

"Don't think that these two will be the only obstacles for you to overcome." Chazz added, "Because I'm aiming for the top as well."

"And I look forward to meeting you up there." Weiss responded, then saw Blake and Yang calling to her, "Sorry, but I need to meet with them for something important."

"Before you go, Jesse wanted me to let you know something." Aster said as Weiss turned to him, "He said he'll be in the front row to the stands of your first match in the pro league."

"Well, tell him he better be ready to take me out to dinner when I win that match," Weiss responded with a smile before walking away.

"…When did I become their messenger boy?" Aster asked as Chazz smirked.

Outside on the roof of the academy, Ruby looked up at the night sky, her eyes fixated on the moon. However, as she heard footsteps approaching, she turned to see her friends, "Yo," Yang said with a wave as Blake and Weiss were beside her, "Sorry we're a bit late."

"The party's inside," Weiss commented as they approached.

"We don't know why you wanted us up here, but you should come down to see everyone." Blake added, a slightly mournful tone coming in her voice, "After tonight, we're all going our separate ways."

"Yeah, this might be the last time we see the four of us together," Yang said as well, crossing her arms.

"Even if that's true, I still know it won't happen." Ruby said as she placed her hand on her chest, "Because all four of us will be together in our hearts." She said with her three friends smiling back.

"Hehe, spoken like a little kid who still believes in fairytales." Weiss responded with Ruby giggling as well, "But that is what makes you who you are." She said before reaching into her coat pocket, and pulling out a small envelope, "Here, this is from all three of us."

"I know we agreed no gifts today, but we have been looking for a copy of this card for a while," Blake added as Ruby accepted the envelope in confusion.

"Yeah, you would not believe how long shipping is to this island," Yang said as Ruby opened the envelope, taking out a single card, and gasping.

"We know it's not the original, nor will it replace the sentimental value of it to you, but-" Weiss was saying until Ruby hugged her, Yang, and Blake all at the same time.

"Thank you, thank you so much!" Ruby said with slight tears in her eyes, "I love it, and don't worry. I can make all new sentimental reasons for this card and our bond." She said before holding her hands in the air, "Our bond as Team RWBY!"

"You still want to keep calling us that?" Weiss responded, "But, I'm happy you like the gift."

"Care to test it out now?" Yang offered.

"You think a quick two on two matches will do?" Blake added.

"That's why I wanted to see all of us up here," Ruby spoke. "Let's make it a free-for-all."

"Sounds good," Weiss said before turning to a loud bang with the others. They looked to the sky, seeing fireworks exploding in all the colors to glimmer in the night, "Now then, ready?" She said as readied her duel disk.

"On three," Blake said as readied her duel disk.

"Two," Yang said as readied her duel disk arm.

"One," Ruby said as she placed the card in her deck, causing it to shuffle before reading her duel disk.

"Duel!" the four girls said as the duel atop the academy had begun.

Ruby: 4000 Life Points

Weiss: 4000 Life Points

Blake: 4000 Life Points

Yang: 4000 Life Points

"I'll take the first move," Yang spoke as she drew, then took three cards of her hand, "And I'll destroy two fire monsters in my hand to special summon True King Agnimazud, the Vanisher!" she said as her favorite monster appeared with a burning roar, (2900 ATK / 1900 DEF).

"My turn," Blake said as she drew, then took four cards out of her hand, "I play Polymerization, fusing three Lunalight monsters to make Lunalight Sabre Dancer!" she said as her favorite monster appeared with curved blades at the ready, (3000 ATK / 2600 DEF).

"I'm next," Weiss said as she drew, then took four cards out of her hand, "I also play Polymerization, fusing three Gem-Knight monsters to make Gem-Knight Master Diamond!" she said as her favorite monster appeared with a great sword raised over its head, (2900 ATK / 2500 DEF).

"I draw," Ruby said as she looked at the card and smiled, playing it instantly, "Since I have no monsters in my graveyard, I special summon Guardian Eatos!" she said as her favorite monster appeared with radiance descending onto the battlefield. As Ruby smiled at the angelic huntress, she felt someone watching over her smiling as well. While the ending was uncertain, the duel of the four girls continued towards one of happiness.

Meanwhile, in the Savanna.

"Gah, it's too hot!" Jaden walked along a dirt road, "How did I get so lost?" he said while looking over his area, "And it's only desert for miles, why did I go here?" He turned around, "Nothing come by for over an hour I think…Eh?" Suddenly, a car seemed to be approaching. "Finally, I hope they stop over." Jaden said as he stood at the road, his right thumb raised, "Come on."

The car approached and stopped, revealing itself to be a pink sports car with a brown leather interior and white vertical stripes. Jaden gasped as he first saw the duel spirits Yubel and Winged Kuriboh sitting in the back seat, waving to him. He then looked to the driver, seeing the mute pro duelist, who turned to him with a smirk, "…" she said while changing the orientation of her eye color.

"…Heh," Jaden let out a slight giggle as he smiled back, knowing he would be just fine now.

The End, for real.

AN: There you go, it's finally almost five and half years, this series has reached its true conclusion. I only really intended to make the first four chapters as this series but had so much fun I did all of season one as the first twenty chapters. Since I was still enjoying myself, I made season two meant to cover so much more ground and eventually get to this point. I didn't know if I would be able to write this series as an ending like this. However, even after all these chapters, it is still fun to write duels and put RWBY characters in this continuity. I look back and think this series was one of my best for writing the RWBY cast forming their bonds in a new context. Their decks were fun to make, and I like to think I will get better at making them as time went on. On the Yu-Gi-Oh side, I enjoyed all the cast and duels with them just as much. Overall, it is hard for me to put into words all the thoughts and feelings I have for this series. But in the end, all I can say is thank you. While this series was not as popular as others I have done, seeing all the reviews and questions made it feel so cool to make a story that could engage so many people. I am truly grateful for all of you and your willingness to put up with my odd ideas and barely passable grammar. Now, that's everything, thanks for reading, and hope you enjoyed Duel Academy's New Students.

Now, time to answer the final questions. I missed this one from the last chapter because I thought I had talked about it before, but the Yu-Gi-Oh animation special with all the archetypes was amazing. I am so excited for the potential of the new studio and hope they make some cool anime based on the Charmers, Sky Strikers, or just even DMG as an apprentice. An archetype I wish they showed was Lady Labrynth, just to see her in the tracksuit making traps. Regarding some card announcements, Elemental Heroes in Rush duel is cool and hope they get some good card arts from it. The new millennium cards and Exodia support are all cool, it will be nice to see an Exodia deck that is not just stall until drawing all five pieces. I already spoke at length on my feels for this series in the above AN but will say I was satisfied to finish it and finish it fully like this. Despite having been doing fanfics for almost a decade, I only have three long stories with completed status now. However, I wanted to make sure I gave this series an ending I liked and did not drop it. I still have Remnant in a New World and Lost to Dust to complete now as well, but they will take time. Now, while it was not asked, I do think people want to know if I will make another Yu-Gi-Oh and RWBY crossover fanfic. So far, nothing has been confirmed. I have been workshopping a 5Ds version of this crossover with an entirely new RWBY continuity compared to this one. That one is my favorite Yu-Gi-Oh spinoff, as well as leaving me open to do so many things I could not do before with these types of crossovers. However, I know making one would be too much of an undertaking for me now in life, and I do not want to make a new fanfic that I cannot finish or would prevent me from finishing my other current fanfics. I will say I am still thinking a lot about this idea, but if it comes to pass, you will know where I post it. Those were all the questions I had, I will try to reply to questions if I can if you still want clarity on anything regarding me or this story.

Duel Academy's New Students Datasheet

AN: Now, this section of the epilogue is the final Datasheet chapter. I kept the prior one as a bookmark for some people when reading but have reworked this one to be more straightforward. This one gives a quick summary of the characters with most of their important moments talked about in their bios. Also, I will give a small reflection on each character here for my final thoughts on them in this series. To recap the win record, I made this only with the characters who had two or more duels in total and were relevant to the plot. This means if they had a win-draw-lose or did not finish (DNF) during the time of this story. Certain flashback duels do not count but certain offscreen wins did if the offscreen character did already have a deck made for this series. Regarding the Cover art of Team RWBY in their Duel Academy uniforms for this series, you can thank Stefv on Twitter for their amazing work on them. I will switch out the cover art when I can, as I think all versions are great.

Duelist: Ruby Rose

Affiliation: Slifer Red Dorm

Deck: Aromage

Favorite: Guardian Eatos

Ace: Tytannial, Princess of Camellias

Boss: Aromalylith Magnolia

Profile: Ruby entered the same year as Jaden as part of a small transfer program with big sister and Weiss. She originally played Charmer cards in her deck and was one of the seven defenders of the Sacred Beast against the Shadow Riders. She was the last key holder and defeated the final Shadow Rider, Cinder. In the following year, she participated in the Genex Tournament. Despite losing to Yuri partway through the tournament, she managed to defeat him in a Last Turn duel and put an end to his chaos. In the final duel of the Tournament, she lost to Jaden and earned second place in the competition. At Graduation, she was accepted into a university for duel disk design. While her mother's Guardian Eatos was ripped apart, her friends gave another copy as a graduation gift and as a final memory of their time together.

Win Record: 8-1-5

AN: Ruby was very fun to make in this series and felt like a good protagonist. I liked making her charmer deck for season one and having her ace be Gurdian Eatos. She had a lot of fun combos and her final duel with Cinder was one of my favorites. The upgrade to Aromage was interesting as it let her have a lot more life points to take hits, which let me keep duels going longer. As well as giving her other plant and rose support. Overall, I enjoyed making her character in this series.

Duelist: Weiss Schnee

Affiliation: Obelisk Blue Dorm

Deck: Gem-Knights and Melodious

Favorite: Gem-Knight Master Diamond

Ace: Bloom Diva the Melodious Choir

Boss: Gem-Knight Lady Brilliant Diamond

Profile: As a child, Weiss was able to see Duel Spirt. Weiss entered the same year as Chazz and Alexis as part of a small transfer program with Ruby and Yang. She was one of the seven defenders of the Sacred Beast against the Shadow Riders but lost her key to Blake. While she played pure Gem-Knights before, she incorporated Melodious cards after visiting a card shop. In the following year, she participated in the Genex Tournament but lost to Yuri. At Graduation, she decided to enter the pro league to defeat her big sister before rematching Seto Kaiba.

Win Record: 7-0-6

AN: Weiss was great here to write, as her backstory here was one of the most connected to the Yu-Gi-Oh side and was very fun to make. Her deck was cool with Gem-Knights, showing off why she was in the highest class at the start of this series. The upgrade to Melodious was also very cool and fit since there are a lot of shared cards now. I do think I could have given her more duels against certain characters, but she still did well here and was very cool to write as the defrosted ice queen.

Duelist: Blake Belladonna

Affiliation: Obelisk Blue Dorm (Former: Ra Yellow and Shadow Rider)

Deck: Lunalight

Favorite: Lunalight Sabre Dancer

Ace: Lunalight Cat Dancer

Boss: Lunalight Leo Dancer

Profile: Blake entered before Zane's last year and was called the Strongest Ra Yellow student. She was a Shadow Rider in hopes of preventing the Sacred Beast from being in the wrong hands but lost to Yang. In the next year, she advanced to Obelisk Blue rank in the same class as her friends. While she participated in the Genex Tournament, she lost to Yuri. At Graduation, she was accepted into a university for teaching.

Win Record: 6-1-5

AN: Blake had some of my favorite duels and introductions. I think having her as a Shadow Rider at the start of this series with her destructive mindset was one of the best-written parts of season one. Her evolution to being open with all her friends was very cute to have and showed just how far she has come as a person. She did not get a deck upgrade, but when you play Lunalight's, you already have everything you need at the start.

Duelist: Yang Xiao Long

Affiliation: Ra Yellow Dorm

Deck: Fire Kings and Burn

Favorite: True King Agnimazud, the Vanisher

Ace: Fire King High Avatar Garunix

Boss: Pyrorex the Elemental Lord

Profile: Yang entered the same year as Bastion as part of a small transfer program with little sister and Weiss. Her Pyrorex was a gift from her old friend, Tyranno. She was one of the seven defenders of the Sacred Beast against the Shadow Riders but lost her key and right arm to Adam. In the following year, Yang gained a machinal arm from Kaiba Corp and upgraded her deck to include Fire King Cards. She participated in the Genex Tournament but lost to Yuri. At Graduation, she was accepted and able to join the pro leagues.

Win Record: 8-1-4

AN: Yang to me was the perfect Ra Yellow. A lot of her deck at times was very experimental, but she found a way to make it work. Her playing some Laval in season one was a bit weak but was made up with her boss. The evolution to Fire Kings in season two helped, as well as even more powerful bosses, to prove why she is the Strongest Ra Yellow. Still, she did great here, and I do think her most impactful moment is her losing her arm to Berserker Soul and getting a dual disk arm upgrade. She was able to move past this early in the series, but I did not want to have this be her only defining trait in this series.

Duelist: Jaden Yuki

Affiliation: Slifer Red Dorm

Deck: Elemental Hero and Neo-Spacian

Favorite: Elemental Hero Flame Wingman

Ace: Elemental Hero Neos

Boss: Elemental Hero Shinning Neos Wingman

Profile: Jaden was in the same year as Ruby, having started a few months before her. He was one of the seven defenders of the Sacred Beast against the Shadow Riders but had his key stolen by Neo. During this time, the Supreme King's aura inside him took over his mind, but he was able to overcome it with the help of his friends. In his second year, he upgraded his hero deck to include Neo-Spacian cards given by his new head teacher. As the winner of the Genex tournament, he was able to take a trip to the Savanna but was unable to return in time for his graduation. He now wonders, going where life takes him with who he meets along the way.

Win Record: 13-0-3 DNF:2

AN: Jaden was very surprised to me by how good he was at writing. At first, I was conflicted about how much I wanted to include him dueling. But with all the cards he has, I was able to make many duel situations for him and allow his cards to shine. Introducing the Supreme King early in this series was a big play, but I liked how this shaped his development going forward and his relationship with his friends. The training arc for him was my favorite section for all its cool duels and finally giving him Neos. Overall, Jaden has grown on me as one of my favorite Yu-Gi-Oh protagonists after writing him this way in my series.

Duelist: Alexis Rhodes

Affiliation: Obelisk Blue Dorm

Deck: Cyber Angel

Favorite: Cyber Blader

Ace: Cyber Angel Dakini

Boss: Cyber Angel Vrash

Profile: Alexis was in the same year as Weiss, having started a few months before her. She was one of the seven defenders of the Sacred Beast against the Shadow Riders but lost her key to Blake. In the following year, she participated in the Genex Tournament but lost to Yubel possessing Neo. After Graduation, she went to study abroad to become a teacher for future duelists.

Win Record: 3-0-3

AN: Alexis…did not do much. She is still one of my favorite GX characters but did not have a lot of plot relevance to this series outside of the duel against Roman. I still love this moment, as well as both her duels against Blake. But outside of this, her brother's storyline was done off-screen, and she did not duel nearly as much as I should have let her. She was one of the only duelists I did not have a duel in the Domino City trip, I should have given her one proper against Weiss, but felt Weiss needed to duel Ruby at that moment. I think now I understand more of why the writers in the original series did not give her that much screen time. It's not that she is a bad character, it's more that she is hard to place somewhere.

Duelist: Chazz Princeton

Affiliation: Obelisk Blue Dorm

Deck: Armed Dragon, Machine Union, and Ojama

Favorite: Ojama Yellow

Ace: The Ojama Brothers

Boss: Armed Dragon Catapult Cannon

Profile: Chazz was in the same year as Weiss, having started a few months before her. He was one of the seven defenders of the Sacred Beast against the Shadow Riders but lost his key to Glynda. In the following year, she participated in the Genex Tournament but lost to Yubel possessing Neo. After Graduation, he gained enough sponsorship to join the pro leagues.

Win Record: 3-1-3

AN: He was fun to write, and I enjoyed working with all his cards, even the Ojama Brothers. Since he had so many cards in his decks, I could make some fun duels and give him good moments. I did have him give up on his crush on Alexis, due to it being very cringy for me to write. He did not have that much depth, but I like how he interacted with all of Team RWBY in different ways in this series. In the end, all I can say is…Chazz it up!

Duelist: Bastion Misawa

Affiliation: Ra Yellow Dorm

Deck: Formula

Favorite: Water Dragon

Ace: Litmus Doom Swordsman

Boss: Starry Night, Starry Dragon

Profile: Bastion was in the same year as Yang, having started a few months before her. He was one of the seven defenders of the Sacred Beast against the Shadow Riders but lost her key to Pyrrha. In the following year, she participated in the Genex Tournament but lost to Yubel possessing Neo. After Graduation, he went to university to study theoretical physics to better use his formulas.

Win Record: 2-0-5

AN: My poor boy, I tried to make you more relevant in this series. Even though he is more integral to the team and has a lot of development, he still has the worst record of all the good guys. His wins against Nora and Emerald were cool, some of my favorite moments for him. I think that I like the change of his deck to Starry Monsters since chemical cards were very complicated to pull off. His having Prime Material Dragon was a lot of joy for me, as that is one of my favorite monsters. In the end, I am happy with how he turned out here and that he gets with Velvet as well.

Duelist: Blair Flannigan

Affiliation: Slifer Red Dorm

Deck: Lightsworn

Favorite: Maiden in Love

Ace: Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter

Boss: Judgement Dragon

Profile: Blair officially joined Duel Academy a year after her childhood friend, Ruby. She participated in the Genex Tournament but lost to Ruby. Afterward, she was turned into a card but was later returned to normal. While she had a crush on Jaden, she let go of these feelings. In her last year, she was considered the Strongest Slifer Red at the school.

Win Record: 2-0-3

AN: Super fun, I love Lightsworn cards and am glad I could give them to her. I liked having her connect to Ruby as a childhood friend, it gave them some cool depth. The Jaden crush was something I did not like having to write but did have fun with the idea that she saw nearly everyone as a love rival with this joke. I still love the deck-out duel with Ruby, as it was cool to plan and get it right. While I do like her Obelisk Blue outfit from the tag force games, I do like that she kept Slifer Red here to be the next generation's strongest.

Duelist: Tyranno Hassleberry

Affiliation: Ra Yellow Dorm

Deck: Dinosaurs

Favorite: Ultimate Tyranno

Ace: Super Conductor Tyranno

Boss: Ultimate Conductor Tyranno

Profile: Tyranno joined Duel Academy a year after her childhood friend, Yang. He refers to her as Sarge, while she calls him Dreads. He participated in the Genex Tournament but lost to Yang. In her last year, she was considered the Strongest Ra Yellow at the school.

Win Record: 1-1-1

AN: Dino DNA! I loved writing him in this series as a friend for Yang like Blair was for Ruby. I remember listening to his voice lines in Duel Links to get his dialogue written for this series, it was a lot of fun. However, I wish he dueled more, as his only win is against the duel puzzle with the other Ra Yellows. Still, both his matches with Yang are great and super cool to showcase here.

Duelist: Nora Valkyrie

Affiliation: Obelisk Blue Dorm (Former: Ra Yellow)

Deck: Thunder Dragons

Favorite: Thunder Nyan Nyan

Ace: Thunder Dragon Colossus

Boss: Thunder Dragon Titan

Profile: Back in New Domino City, she was homeless without a family before meeting her boyfriend, Ren. She attended Duel Academy the same year as Tyranno. She participated in the Genex Tournament but lost to Titan due to fainting in the middle of a duel. In her last year, she was considered the Strongest Obelisk Blue after having advanced to that level.

Win Record: 2-0-2

AN: Nora was a good addition to the cast here. I liked how she was already in a relationship with Ren overseas at the time, so I could focus on her growth here. She did not duel much, but her duels were cool, and I liked having her match against Titan. I count this duel as a loss since it was during the tournament, otherwise it would have been a DNF. Having her in Obelisk Blue might be a shock to some, but I feel as though she earned it.

Duelist: Sienna Khan

Affiliation: Slifer Red Dorm

Deck: Gladiator Beast

Favorite: Gladiator Beast Heraklinos

Ace: Gladiator Beast Vespasius

Boss: Gladiator Beast Gyzarus

Profile: Sienna was a student teacher to Professor Banner before Jaden went to Duel Academy but was injured by Adam and had to leave the island. During her recovery, she was tasked by Professor Banner to acquire new cards for Jaden to teach him Contact Fusion. She tried to stop the new Shadow Riders from attacking during the Genex Tournament but lost to Adam's doppelganger. She continues to teach as the head teacher of the Slifer Red Dorm now.

Win Record: 1-1-1

AN: While she was not in the web series much, she was very fun to have here with an expanded role. I liked making her deck around another form of contact fusion, so she fit in as Jaden's mentor. Overall, she is still my favorite faunus design, so much so that I liked that she wears fake cat ears here in her outfit, but nobody ever questioned it.

Duelist: Glynda Goodwitch

Affiliation: Ra Yellow Dorm (Former: Shadow Rider)

Deck: Witchcrafter

Favorite: Magician of Black Chaos

Ace: Witchcrafter Vice-Madame

Boss: Quintet Magician

Profile: When Duel Academy first opened, she was considered the Strongest Ra Yellow student. After graduation, she became a professor at the school for the Obelisk Blue dorm. She was brainwashed by Cinder and the Shadow Riders but lost to Weiss. In the next year, she tried to stop the new shadow riders from attacking during the Genex Tournament but lost to Cinder. She continues to teach as the head teacher of Ra Yellow Dorm now. (She also loves to cosplay her true favorite card, Dark Magician Girl).

Win Record: 3-0-3

AN: Same as Sienna, I wish she had more of a role in the series, but at least had more screen time. She was super fun to make here as a teacher who truly cared for her students. I also really liked her personality and the way she carried herself here. Also, I love the DMG here as a fun way to show her cute side.

Duelist: Dr. Crowler

Affiliation: Obelisk Blue Dorm

Deck: Ancient Gear

Favorite: Ancient Gear Golem

Ace: Ancient Gear Golem – Ultimate Pound

Boss: Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem

Profile: During the Shadow Riders' assault, Dr. Crowler was off the island to teach at an Academy in Venice. He returned to Duel Academy the next year with his star student as a transfer, Yuri. He tried to stop the new Shadow Riders from attacking during the Genex Tournament but lost to Salem. He continues to teach as the head teacher of the Obelisk Blue Dorm now.

Win Record: 0-0-2

AN: Dr. Crowler was very cool, but I wish he dueled more here. I do like ancient gears as they are a very simple deck to pick up. He did at least overcome his resentment for Jaden in this continuity in the end. And on graduation, he was sad to see so many students finally move on.

Duelist: Winter Schnee

Affiliation: Pro League Circuit

Deck: Chaos Warriors

Favorite: Black Luster Soldier

Ace: Gaia the Magical Knight of Dragons

Boss: Dragon Master Knight

Profile: When Duel Academy first opened, she was considered the Strongest Obelisk Blue student. After graduation, she became a pro duelist and quickly climbed the ranks. After winning a tournament in the league, she gained the opportunity to duel Seto Kaiba but lost. She continues to dominate in the circuit, waiting for her little sister to challenge her to an official match.

Win Record: 1-0-1

AN: Winter was great to include and plays of my favorite monsters, BLS. I liked her aura and the way she helped Weiss realize how to carry herself after a big loss. Even though she only duels twice, I still like both, especially since one was against Seto Kaiba.

Duelist: Neopolitan

Affiliation: Pro League Circuit (Former: Shadow Rider)

Deck: Silent

Favorite: Winged Kuriboh

Ace: Silent Swordsman

Boss: Silent Magician

Profile: Neo was without anything before Roman Torchwick took her in and got her into the pro league as a powerful duelist. After learning of his death, she joined Cinder as a Shadow Rider. After learning the truth, she challenges Cinder with a key she stole from Jaden but lost. In dueling the Supreme King, she was able to beat him with the help of Winged Kuriboh, then was traded the card by Jaden. She participated in the Genex Tournament but lost to Aster. Neo was possessed by Yubel, but thanks to Jaden, made peace with Yubel with their souls combined now.

Win Record: 8-0-5 DNF:1

AN: My favorite character in all of RWBY. Neo was so fun to write since she used the Silent Monster. Granted, I might have given her Voiceless Voice if had the opportunity in this series. The part with Yubel was a bit last minute but was a cool way to include that character and liked how it turned out here for those two. In the end, she and Jaden get to ride off into the sunset.

Duelist: Sora Perse

Affiliation: Pro League Circuit

Deck: Frightfur

Favorite: Toy Vendor

Ace: Frightfur Sabre-Tooth

Boss: Dangerous Frightfur Nightmary

Profile: Sora attended school in Venice, where he met Roman Torchwick, who convinced him to find Neo. After leaving the school, he found Neo but never met Roman again. Since Sora was still too young for the pro leagues, he joined the tag team format with Neo. Once old enough, he went into the solo league to prove his growth and thank his mentors for their guidance.

Win Record: 1-0-1 DNF:1

AN: Sora was fun here as a companion to Neo. Frightfur Monsters was pretty cool to write, and his tag duel against Paradox Brothers was great. Overall, he was a nice addition to the Arc-V size to expand the cast here a bit.

Duelist: Pyrrha Nikos

Affiliation: Pro League Circuit (Former: Shadow Rider)

Deck: Magnet Warrior

Favorite: Valkyrian on the Magna Warrior

Ace: Berserkion on the Magna Warrior

Boss: Imperion Magnum the Superconductive Battlebot

Profile: Pyrrha was a student of Duel Academy before Ruby ever attended. She was a Slifer Red before quickly moving to Obelisk Blue. After Graduation, she became a Pro Duelist but went into isolation after an accident during a match that led to her opponent dying. She was brainwashed by Cinder and the Shadow Riders but lost to Yang. In the next year, she participated in the Genex Tournament but tied to Cinder the eliminate both. She has returned to the pro leagues as one of its highest-ranking duelists.

Win Record: 4-1-1

AN: This was one of my favorite characters to write here. I enjoyed Pyrrha as a pro duelist, showing her regret at what happened to Penny in this continuity and learning how to move forward from it. While I still consider the worst duel in this series to be her game against Yang, I liked every one of her duels afterward. Especially her game against Cinder where she breaks fate to cause a tie. And her relationship with Aster was also cool.

Duelist: Coco Adel

Affiliation: Pro League Circuit

Deck: Machina

Favorite: Machina Force

Ace: Machina Fortress

Boss: Machina Citadel

Profile: Despite not having gone to any dueling schools, Coco managed to get into the pro leagues out of sheer skill. She befriended Velvet in school, who acts as Coco's manager and photographs her new clothing designs during duels. She participated in the Genex Tournament but lost to Jaden. She remains in the pro leagues as one of its highest-ranking duelists but still likes fashion more.

Win Record: 0-0-2

AN: Coco was cool. Not much to say other than she has a cool deck with a brutal personality. I liked showing off her skills and her friendship with Velvet was also cute. Also, the joke of her attaché case being heavy beyond belief is great.

Duelist: Zane Truesdale

Affiliation: Pro League Circuit

Deck: Cyber Dragons

Favorite: Power Bond

Ace: Cyber Dragon

Boss: Cyber End Dragon

Profile: Zane entered the same year as Blake and was called the Strongest Obelisk Blue student. During the Shadow Riders assault, Zane was off the island to network in the pro league. After Graduation, he entered the pro leagues. He participated in the Genex Tournament but lost to Blake. Afterward, she was turned into a card but was later returned to normal. He took a break from the pro leagues to recover from the use of the Cyber Dark monster but has plans to return to a smaller league to maintain his relationship with Blake.

Win Record: 1-0-1

AN: Zane was great here but did not duel that much since I omitted him from season one. He was very strong, to the point I could not plan a lot of duels for him to be in. I did like how this version does not become Hell Kaiser the original way and was able to maintain his normal look throughout most of this series.

Duelist: Aster Phoenix

Affiliation: Pro League Circuit

Deck: Destiny Hero

Favorite: Destiny Hero Plasma

Ace: Destiny Hero Dogma

Boss: Destiny Hero Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer

Profile: Aster lost his father at a young age. He wished the killer would be brought to justice, but slowly realized that would not be with the heroes he believed in before. To sustain himself, he joined the pro leagues. He participated in the Genex Tournament but lost to Salem. However, he was able to make peace with his father's murder with the help of Pyrrha. He recovered the last card his father made. He remains in the pro leagues as one of its highest-ranking duelists.

Win Record: 1-0-2

AN: Aster was fun to show his development. I did avoid his connection with Sartorius in this version, but it let him stand on his own more. Plus, his relationship with Pyrrha was also sweet and cute. Destiny Heroes was also fun to write, so I wish I could have made more duels with him.

Duelist: Paradox Brothers

Affiliation: Pro League Circuit

Deck: Gate Guardian

Favorite: Gate Guardian

Ace: Gate Guardian

Boss: Gate Guardian

Profile: Twin Brother who once worked for Pegasus. They joined the tag division of Pro League Circuit. When they started losing more games, they tried to evolve their cards into a much more powerful force. They wanted to participate in the Genex Tournament but were late. However, they dueled Pyrrha for a chance to enter but lost. They continue to fight in the tag pro league, rhyming in every match they are in.

Win Record: 0-0-2

AN: These two were fun to write, but a pain to do all the rhyming. I made a bet that if they got support after so long, I would have them duel again, and they did manage to give me that. The duel with them against Pyrrha was very fun with the realization that magnet warriors have a similar combination style to Gate Guardian. In the end, I am happy that I could do more with them than I thought.

Duelist: Roman Torchwick

Affiliation: Shadow Riders

Deck: Dark Machine Burn

Favorite: Barrel Dragon

Ace: Blowback Dragon

Boss: Gattling Dragon

Profile: Roman found Neo when she was homeless and took her in to be his main duelist in the pro leagues. Before heading to Duel Academy, he met Sora and convinced him to find Neo sometime later. He was a Shadow Rider but lost to Alexis. As punishment, Cinder used him for Salem to turn his soul into Super Polymerization. Despite this, his soul still wishes to protect Neo.

Win Record: 0-0-1 DNF:1

AN: Roman was cool. I always liked his companionship Neo was my favorite aspect of him. His deck is very fun and the duel with Sora was good to have him come back. Overall, his fate was very dark, but he at least had his soul help Neo one last time in the duel against the Supreme King.

Duelist: Mercury Black

Affiliation: Shadow Riders

Deck: Red-Eyes

Favorite: Red-Eyes Alternative Black Dragon

Ace: Meteor Black Comet Dragon

Boss: Red-Eyes Dragoon

Profile: Mercury joined the Pro Leagues after the mysterious death of his father. Cinder scouted him and Emerald to join the Shadow Rider. He participated in the Genex Tournament but lost to Chazz and Alexis in a tag duel with Atticus. Afterward, she was turned into a card but was later returned to normal. Mercury and Emerald faced many charges for their involvement with Cinder, never learning of her fate. They live quiet lives outside the madness of the world now.

Win Record: 0-0-2

AN: Mercury was a bit underwhelming here. Despite his debut having one of the most broken boss monsters of the game, he could only use it once because of the way I built his deck. Despite that, Red-Eyes was fun to give him and work with as a tag duel with Nightshroud. Also, since Emerald only had one duel, I did not make a profile for her here, but I mentioned it as well. I liked her deck, as Gravekeepers fit her super well given her character inspiration. Still, she was just kind of an obsessive follower of Cinder here, so not that much growth for her in the end.

Duelist: Adam Taurus

Affiliation: Shadow Riders

Deck: Branded Despia

Favorite: Aluber the Jester of Despia

Ace: Fallen of Albaz

Boss: Alba-Lenatus the Abyss Dragon

Profile: Adam entered the three years before Zane and was called the Strongest Slifer Red student. He joined the Shadow Riders to allow him to be as brutal as he could be to anyone, he deemed weaker than himself. However, he lost to the Supreme King and then fell into a chasm to his demise. During the Genex Tournament, he was brought back as a revenant but was sent back to hell after losing a rematch duel to Jaden.

Win Record: 3-1-2

AN: Adam Definity maintained his cruel nature here. His duel with Yang where he played Berserker Soul is one of the defining moments of the series. After he died, I debated a lot about how I could have him come back and enjoy his new deck and duel with Jaden. Overall, I have made peace with his writing in the Web Series and think this is the closest I have made to that version.

Duelist: Cinder Fall

Affiliation: Shadow Riders

Deck: Darklord

Favorite: Relinquished

Ace: Darklord Morningstar

Boss: Lucifer, Darklord of the Morning Star

Profile: When Duel Academy first opened, she was considered the Strongest Slifer Red student. At the school, she met Salem and devoted her life to serving her for promises of power. After graduation, she became a teacher at Venice and began looking for recruits for the Shadow Riders. However, Cinder was defeated by Ruby and sustained heavy bodily damage. Cinder vowed revenge but she tied to Pyrrha in a match during the Genex Tournament. Half her body was covered in magma from the island's volcano. Afterward, she was turned into a card and then tossed into a well. Unable to die, her only thoughts were of the agonizing pain she was to endure until her mind broke into nothingness and she simply stopped thinking altogether.

Win Record: 2-2-1

AN: Cinder was cool to have the primary villain and mastermind of Season One here. She is the reason so many characters' lives were messed up here. The duel with her against Ruby is one of my favorites and one of the longest duels I have had to write. Her fate in the end is one of the cruelest fates I have ever made for a character here. Overall, she paid for all her crimes here.

Duelist: Salem

Affiliation: Shadow Rider

Deck: Shaddoll

Favorite: Super Polymerization

Ace: Shaddoll Construct

Boss: Dark Hole Dragon

Profile: In the past, Salem was a magus who served a king, who wanted unparalleled power. She granted his wish, allowing him to become the Supreme King with gentle darkness. With his death, the power had to be passed onto their son. Salem used her magic to transform Yubel into a duel spirit, who was willing to do so to become the defender of his only friend. However, in a raid on the kingdom, the new Supreme King and Yubel were defeated, and the power had to be moved onto Salem. She lived only for the time her son would reincarnate into the body of Jaden, hoping to turn him into the Supreme King dueled and defeated Salem, allowing her power to fade away and let her soul finally rest in peace.

Win Record: 3-0-1

AN: Salem was a fitting final boss to this series. Her storyline and lore worked well for GX. The connection she had with Jaden, in the end, was nice with exploration after their duel. While she is not a good person, she at least dies with more grace than the other villains do.

Duelist: Yuri

Affiliation: Himself

Deck: Predaplant

Favorite: Super Polymerization

Ace: Starving Venom Fusion Dragon

Boss: Starving Venom Predapower Fusion Dragon

Profile: Yuri attended school in Venice, where he met Cinder, who mentored him on dueling and power. He later transferred to Duel Academy under Dr. Crowler's recommendation but still followed orders from Cinder. However, his true goal shifted to attain Super Polymerization, as well as turn everyone who stood in his way into cards. He participated in the Genex Tournament but lost to Ruby after choosing to continue a Last Turn duel. While nobody was discovered, he was last seen in a collapsing cave after a boulder was about to crush his body. Only the echo of a maniacal laugh is heard around the area.

Win Record: 8-0-1 DNF:1

AN: And finally, my favorite character of this series. Yuri was amazing to write here with a lot of cool duels and was the character that you love to hate. He was so arrogant and felt on top of the world for so long that his eventual fall was so satisfying. Now, some may think he is still alive from this profile, but it is left ambiguous because I don't know if they could even find a body with what happened to him. Overall, one of the best characters I have written in all my fanfic.

AN: There you have it, all the relevant characters and their information. This Data Sheet can be used as a full retrospective of the series, as well as a highlight of some cool moments. A reminder that the Win Record takes only duels that were on-screen or were important off-screen duels into consideration here. And with that, we are all done. Thank you for making it this far. Have a nice day and take care!
