The second day of Naruto's classes seemed to be full of incidents, after encountering Oliver and perhaps almost dying in the History of Magic class. She didn't need to enter the room to know there was a ghost; swallowing nervously, Naruto turned on her heels, leaving Harry in the middle of a conversation.

Naruto had to wait for the class to end to resume her studies. She waited in the courtyard, hoping not to be seen by any teachers. She could always ask someone what they talked about, but as she already suspected, it was just the curriculum.

"Sorry, but ghosts and I don't get along," Naruto clarified as they headed to their Potions class. This was something Naruto was excited about because of what Fred and George had told her. They said a good prank could be planned from the smallest potion, from one that could change someone's hair color to the complete appearance of a person, without being an illusion. So yes, she was excited when she sat down next to Harry, seeing a cauldron emitting smoke.

When the professor entered abruptly, many students jumped, and Naruto was no exception. She let out a scream when a man with black hair just below his shoulders and a frightening appearance spoke, "Do not wave your wands, or perform foolish enchantments in this class. Many do not understand the value of science and potion-making. There will be few who are willing..." There Naruto cut off, her gaze fixed ahead at the professor, but her mind wandered.

Today she had found a large green field with overly tall hoops before having to return before lunch.

"You don't know, Mr. Potter," when her companion was called, Naruto looked at Harry, who tried to keep his gaze fixed on Professor Severus Snape, but it kept drifting due to the man's penetrating gaze.

Naruto told herself, "Thank goodness he didn't ask me," while at the same time thinking about how unfair Professor Snape was being to her friend. Nobody except Hermione knew the answer; they had just arrived barely two days ago, so it was obvious Harry didn't know.

When the professor was leaving, Naruto finally spoke, "Not all of us were born surrounded by magic or with the ability to study so fast and memorize. I imagine you knew everything from the first day, right?" Naruto's words were like a needle trying to burst a balloon; people seemed to be already asking for her soul to rest in peace.

"Miss Uzumaki," this was the first time since the letter that she was called "Miss." The people around her looked confused, perhaps wondering if it was a tongue slip or if the professor actually thought Naruto was a girl, when clearly, she was a boy, a fact that Naruto never declared so easily. "Such an insolent way to respond. It's disrespectful. I suppose that's what you wanted. Minus five points for Gryffindor." Naruto looked shocked as she wanted to open her mouth to shout again, but a tug on her robe made her sit, and Harry shook his head.

Puffing out her cheeks and wrinkling her nose, she remained silent for the rest of the class.

But she noticed how Professor Snape was always watching her. Those eyes were too piercing, and Naruto just wanted to return the gaze... His gaze seemed to belittle her or something similar.

"Oh, sorry, Naruto," Harry said as they left the potions classroom. Naruto looked confused at Harry. "You tried to defend me, but now that teacher also looks at you badly." She shook her head.

"Harry, it's fine, dattebayo, I think... he would have treated me badly anyway," Naruto said as she walked away.

The next day didn't improve with two hours of potions class, where they had to research how to prepare an antidote for common poisons. Snape deducted five more points from Gryffindor when he asked Naruto things she didn't know and shouldn't know yet, and as Naruto, the little troublemaker she was, responded with all her being...

When Naruto gathered her courage, she walked over to Draco. The boy looked at Naruto with arrogance and annoyance when she approached him even more. "Hi Draco, I was wondering if—" Draco growled.

"How rude, call me Malfoy," she frowned, refusing to give up. "I heard you know about a legend regarding the Uzumaki, can you tell me?" she asked, but the young Slytherin just got up from his seat.

"Why would I?" Naruto pouted. "Get lost, half-blood." Naruto clenched her fists, but when Draco was about to leave, Naruto grabbed his robe, making him stumble. The boy turned to look at her angrily.

"You're a fool," Naruto wrinkled her nose when Draco hit her hand to remove it. "Fool, fool, fool!" she stuck her tongue out at him in the end.

Naruto didn't give up; she tried again later and even crossed paths with Draco several times, pressing...

It could be said that Naruto didn't finish her report on the antidote for the next day; her grade was incomplete, and the teacher whispered that her handwriting was terrible, but she still managed to pass with just enough, but in terms of creating them... let's just say there was a little boom.

They had free study time for the next two hours. Naruto stayed with Seamus; on the other side was Hermione reading a book beyond Naruto's reading abilities. Seamus was trying to turn water into rum; yesterday he had managed to turn water into tea.

"Neville," when Naruto pronounced her classmate's name, who was sitting in front of her, the boy blinked. Normally Naruto would leave him alone, as it was obvious Neville felt nervous under Naruto's gaze.

"I-I had trouble w-with the potions, I'm s-studying that," Naruto gave Neville a slight smile, causing him to lower his head and return to what he was writing.

When an explosion assaulted Naruto's eardrums, she turned her head and looked at poor Seamus. She wanted to laugh while helping her poor friend.

When the owls arrived with different packages for some people, Naruto knew there was nothing for her and was happy to see that the others had received something.

"Naruto, look," when she was called, she got up from her seat and approached Harry behind him, standing on tiptoe and placing her hands on his shoulders, she looked at the newspaper he had.

She saw it move, but at this point, it didn't surprise her anymore. Gringotts had been raided. Wasn't it supposed to be one of the safest places? "What a mess," she mentioned carelessly before looking at what Neville had in his hands. "What's that?" The response came from a classmate who called the transparent ball a "remembrall," saying it notifies you if you forgot something.

Draco was in constant panic; the bright blond boy could find him at any moment, and he felt watched. He had hoped to enjoy the flying class a bit, but when he learned he would be taking it with Gryffindor, he panicked when Naruto looked at him. Swallowing nervously, he backed away without trying to hide his desire to flee.

"Hello, Draco," she then looked at her Slytherin classmates. "Hello, everyone," Naruto offered them a smile, making the Slytherins uncomfortable under the blonde's gentle gaze. It was rare for

them to be looked at like that, except for Pansy Parkinson, who looked angrily at the blonde who was always smiling with different people. "So, could you tell me?" Draco sighed and shook his head more forcefully than he wanted to admit.

"No!" Naruto pouted, but she was sure that sooner or later, the boy would break and tell her.

"The professor is coming," Naruto returned to her place next to Ron, standing next to a broomstick.

"Good afternoon, students," the professor had bright golden eyes, which Naruto couldn't help but stare at. "Good afternoon, Madam Hooch!" everyone responded in unison.

"Welcome to your flying lessons," she gave them a half-smile. "What are you waiting for? Stand on the left side of your brooms," Naruto hurriedly stood, bouncing excitedly. "First, your right hand on the broom and say 'up'—" Naruto looked at the broom and then at the others, surprised to see how some of the brooms rose, and she laughed when the broom hit Ron in the face.

"Up!" Naruto said excitedly when the broom shot up towards her, surprising her when it soared over her head. She tightened her grip, hanging on the broom for a few seconds before she could return her feet to the ground, but she still didn't feel the weight of the broom in her hand.

She heard a "wow" from some people, and the professor was looking at her. "Such enthusiasm, young Uzumaki," Naruto smiled at the rest, a little embarrassed when someone from Gryffindor said, "That's awesome!"

Hermione gave Harry and Naruto a strange look; they had managed to do it on the first try, and she hadn't. Her broom barely responded, whereas the blonde's broom seemed like it would fly off at any moment. "Now when you have your broom, mount it and hold on tight, don't slip—" Naruto was on tiptoe trying to keep her feet on the ground, watching as Draco was being corrected; there were moments when Naruto's feet left the ground, but Ron, who was beside her, grabbed her broom and pulled it down, making Naruto put her feet back on the ground. "When the whistle sounds, I want everyone to hit the ground hard, maintain balance, hover for a while, lean forward, and come back—" at that moment, Naruto's broom was out of control. It wasn't just every now and then anymore; it could take off at any moment, and Ron wouldn't be able to hold it down—"Are you ready? Three, two—"

"Waaah!" Naruto recognized that cry anywhere; she murmured "Neville," not noticing that her own broom had calmed down, allowing her to put her feet fully on the ground.

The shouts and laughter of some Slytherins rose when Naruto saw that Neville definitely couldn't control his broom. She jumped off her broom when she saw the boy crash into one of the castle walls.

She quickly thought about what she could do, fumbling through her pockets only to find a shuriken, but she knew that if she failed, she could kill Neville, and she was inferior in shuriken throwing in Konoha, doubted she could do it well. But she had to move away when Neville was about to crash into them; when he hung from his cloak on a spear, and the fabric began to tear, she took a deep breath and told herself, "You can do this."

"Miss Uzumaki," when Madam Hooch called her, she ran with the shuriken in her hand, calculating, and the moment the fabric tore, and Neville fell again, she aimed for just a few seconds and threw, before looking at the wall and putting chakra on her feet and jumping, hoping to be able to hang from a window, and when she finally saw where Neville was, her heart filled with two things. The first was pride; she had hit Neville's clothes, leaving him hanging on the wall, and the second was panic when his clothes started to tear again. She jumped when Neville let go of her shuriken, managing to grab the boy's hand, preventing him from falling and clinging to the shuriken, while she felt pain inside, the shuriken was buried in the palm of her hand, and the metal made it burn.

The peace didn't last long when the stone holding the shuriken broke, and the shuriken came loose, letting both of them fall.

Naruto, always more like a cat than a mouse or a turtle, was a cat. She always knew how to fall by instinct to avoid hurting herself, but now Neville was going first, so she had to figure out how to turn the situation around and pulling her own weight, basically embracing the boy while they fell, now she was the one touching the ground first. She put chakra in her body and then placed her hands behind her head to give extra protection to her neck; that was all she could do and waited for the fall.

There was a loud, dull noise when Naruto's back finally hit the grass, and she felt a weight on her body; she felt Neville trembling, knowing the poor boy must be so scared.

"Mr. Longbottom, Miss Uzumaki," Madam Hood approached, checking on Neville, who had hit many things. Harry and the other Gryffindors approached Naruto.

When the world around Naruto stopped spinning, she did a check; everything felt numb, but that was all. She opened her eyes abruptly when she remembered Neville and sat up, feeling dizzy. Her classmates put their hands out in case she was going to fall completely to the ground, but she didn't. "Is Neville okay?" she asked excitedly, looking around until she found the boy and breathed a sigh of relief.

"Miss Uzumaki, do you know the danger you exposed yourself to?" the flying instructor said, now checking on the girl. Naruto hadn't thought about being scolded. "Throwing a sharp weapon, you could have hurt your classmate," she lowered her head, "and throwing yourself like that—" the Slytherins were laughing at the blonde, making Harry give them a dirty look before the glare was from all Gryffindors towards the Slytherins.

"I'm sorry," Neville tried to prevent the teacher from scolding Naruto; he had always been kind to Neville and helped him whenever he could.

"But... thanks to you, your classmate wasn't injured. You showed courage and loyalty," the Slytherins' smiles disappeared, and Naruto lifted her head, "five points to Gryffindor," a proud smile appeared on Naruto's face.

When the adrenaline wore off, a sharp pain appeared in Naruto's hand; Neville looked at her with horror as blood ran from it. Naruto gave a reassuring look to both the teacher and the Gryffindors who were starting to worry about her...

They didn't allow her to participate in flying class anymore that day; she didn't regret anything and rejected Neville's apologies, affirming, "You have nothing to apologize for. I was the one who jumped, and I would do it again because you're a great guy, Neville." Those teary eyes with which Neville looked at her, but at the same time a smile appeared at her words... That was a great

flying class...

"Hey, Harry," Naruto jumps on her bed a couple of times before looking at the boy who was taking off his glasses to go to bed; she looked at the girl with a raised eyebrow, "how do you see Draco?"

Ron, who was sitting on the bed feeding Scabbers, hissed with suspicion, and Harry wrinkled his nose, "Physically? Or personality? I'll give you a heads up, both are awful!" Naruto didn't deny it.

"Both," Naruto replied as she picked up her uniform and left it on the trunk at the foot of her bed.

"Mmh, pale dead skin, very pale blonde hair too, a pointed face, and his personality is arrogant and abusive," Harry finished as he removed the blankets to lie down.

"He has a rat face!" Ron declared aloud, Dean gave him a look to lower his voice; it was late, and there was a chance they would be discovered awake.

Naruto didn't think... he was that ugly. Well, she wasn't like the girls in her class in Konoha; she didn't define many things as pretty unless they were within her tastes. At least she wouldn't describe him as Harry and Ron did.

Naruto might have the opinion that Draco was a pompous, arrogant, and... abusive person, who didn't want to help her at all, but if there was one thing Naruto knew, it was that the more a person behaved arrogantly and abusively... the more burden they carried on their back.

She still remembered when she saw Sasuke sitting by the lake, his shoulders shaking as he let out a sob, and Naruto understood him. She lived alone by that point, even before that, with ANBU watching over her... even with Rat, she felt lonely. That's why she started following him until she yelled at him that "she would never understand what it feels like," and that was true and false. She had lost her friend, one of the most important people in her life, and it had burned her, her chest burned the day the Hokage told her. She couldn't believe him; the person she loved the most had committed suicide; it was simply impossible... she still doesn't believe it.

She shook her head, wrapping herself in the blankets, looking at the rabbit before pulling it towards her; there was that very familiar smell on the stuffed animal that made her hold back the pain she felt before smiling halfway. "I miss you," she whispered in a tone she hoped her sleeping roommates wouldn't hear.
