"Mr Alden ." Someone is knocking on the door

I open the door . My sister is standing outside crying. I am worried for her. I let her come inside . Tris sits down . I give her a cup of water .

"What happened ?" I raise my eyebrows

"It is Delia ." Tris sighs . "She saw something horrible at Mr Davis's room."

"I am going with you." I stand up and put on my clothes

I walk her out of the room. Alan Davis is the other lieutenant who is also working for max . We walk to his room.

"Why did you sleep with her !" Delia was screaming.

Delia was my best friend in my initiate class and they got together at the same time as I and duke

"What happened babe ." Duke walks toward us

He has light skin tone and extremely short brown hair . He looks old and tired . He has brownish eyebrows and black eyes . He has very high arch nose and red lips . He has those black stripped tattoos on his neck and back of his hands . He is wearing dauntless uniform and a pair of black boots .

"Alan cheated on Delia ." Tris grabs my hand ." Why did you call my sister babe?"

"She is my fiancé . We supposed to be marry but she wanted to wait until you guys all choose ." Duke kisses my face . "I will go check."

Duke knocks on the door . He pushes the door opens and we follow him in. Alan is naked and sleeps beside rose . Rose is wrapping her arms around Alan.

"I am sorry Delia . I just drink too much." Alan wants to explain

"You asshole." Duke punches Alan . "You told everyone that you love Delia so much that you would never let her go. Now , what happened?" Duke is angry.

I wrap my clothes around Delia . I am only wearing a lace dress inside me . Duke comes and takes off his shirt.

"Be careful, it is cold ." Duke puts his shirt on me . "Delia , i am sorry. I will deal with it."

"Duke , rose was drunk too. She agree to talk to max and give us a better future . If it's you, you will want it." Alan explains

"I rather work on my own . I will not cheat on my Alina ." Duke says ." You can betray Delia , max will not believe that you are worth of trusting."

Duke turns around and walks toward me . He grabs my hand and leads us out of his bed room.

"Delia , you can stay with us for tonight." Duke sighs . "Tris , you have to go back and sleep . It is curfew ."

"Good night sister . Good night Mr Alden." Tris waves at us .

"You can call me Duke ." Duke smiles at her

Tris leaves . We walk back to our apartment with Delia . Delia loves Alan so much but I don't know why Alan would betray her .

"Can there be any misunderstanding between you and Alan?" I ask

"No, I saw him was fucking her while I walk into the room with tris ." Delia lowers her head .

"God , that awful." Duke frowns . "Are you hungry babe ?"

" I was waiting for you and I am starving." I fold my arms

Duke pours us cups of whiskey. I like to drink at night with Duke .

"I told you that there are foods in the fridge . I am sorry honey." Duke opens the fridge .

"I want you to eat with me ." I pout. "I want to eat pasta ."

"Sure ." Duke giggles.

I hold Delia's hand . Delia rests on the recline chair . She is breathing fast.

"I don't know why he would do that. I trust him so much." Delia shakes her head

"Did you ever know that rose liked him?" I raise my eyebrows

"Everyone in dauntless or in leadership in other faction knew rose like Alan ." Duke is cooking. "Only Delia doesn't know ."

I know that Delia is very sensitive . Alan didn't want to tell her .

"Right, I knew it too." I say

After duke finished cooking, we sit around the table . I didn't know where Caleb went because I wasn't there .

"Do you know where did my brother go?" I look at Duke . "You can tell me ."

"He went to erudite ." Duke sighs . "I was surprised at that time ."

"Erudite? Oh god ." Delia is surprised . "Your brother is a perfect abnegation."

I am silent. He was so selfless before but now he belongs to erudite . After we finished eating , Duke puts everything into the dish washer.

"I am so tired Duke . Let's go sleep. Delia you can sleep downstair ." I point at the bed room . "Don't worry ."

Duke holds my hand and walks me upstair . When we rest on the bed , Duke wraps me into his arms .

"I will never ever betrayed you." He kisses my forehead .

"i am so worried for Delia ." I say. "Why did Alan do that."

"I will talk to max ." Duke brushes my hair . "She will be fine . I promise you."

I slowly closed my eyes and fall into sleep. Duke is so warm . Even he is older than me for 9 years old but he is still so lovely.

When I wake up, duke is up. It is morning. I walk into bathroom and take a shower . After shower , I get downstair and Delia is up. I have to work today.

"Duke told me that you should rest and four will take care of the training . You can restart working next week." Delia smiles at me . "I will move to my new apartment tonight. Thanks for accommodating me ."

"You are my best friend . I am sorry that I can't change this ." I say.

"No one can even max can't. Max is a nice leader and I don't want to make him sad or angry." Delia says .

After a while , duke comes back. He sits down beside me . He holds my hand .

"I talked to max . Max will fire Alan and replaced Sam with his position." Duke says . "Sam is very good . We haven't get any time recently for a date . We can go tonight."

He kisses my neck. I nod at him. I want to go to cafeteria to eat something. Duke walks me and Delia outside of the room. Alan is now walking toward us .

"Duke , what did you do? Why max fired me ." Alan grabs duke's collar .

"Why? Max doesn't like a man who betrayed their fiancé ." Duke laughs coldly. "Even he was cheating with his daughter ."

"Delia , I am sorry. Please forgive me . I didn't mean to." Alan holds Delia's hand

Delia pushes him away. I know that she is disappointed enough of him.

"Everyone knew that she likes you. Why you didn't leave her alone last night ?" Delia is screaming. "I love you so much."

"I know . However I couldn't control it." Alan says

"Then you deserved it." Duke says . Let's go."

We walk away from him and into the kitchen. Sam is there laughing.

"Good morning Sam." Duke sits down.

"Thanks duke for talking to max for me ." Sam says . "I am sorry Delia ."

"I am fine now ." Delia shakes her head . "I just need time to."

After breakfast, I walk to the training room. Four is teaching them how to fight . Tris is learning very seriously.

"Nice ." I say.

"She isn't as good as you were ." Four laughs . "But good enough."

"Yeah I am a little taller and bigger than her ." I say. "We are different."

Four doesn't say anything. Duke stands beside me . He holds my hand .

"I have to go to work now . I will not be able to watch the training until next week four ." Duke says . "You can go back to control room next week."

"I will take my role back." I say.

"Sure ."four says

Duke kisses my cheek and walks away. Christina and will are practicing together.

"I thought that he is your father or uncle ." Christina says

"He is my fiancé . We will marry very soon." I say

"He is my brother in law ." Tris rolls her eyes .

Peter nudges Molly with his elbow . I walk toward him.

"Are you the one who beat my sister up?" I fold my arms .

"Yes I was ." Peter says so confidently.

"I was also from abnegation. Do you want to fight me ?" I raise my eyebrows . "Since you are so confident."

Four tries to stop me but Peter agrees to fight me . We walk on the stage . He is so ready.

"Come ." I say.

Peter charges at me but I bent down and I punch his stomach.

He falls on the ground . He scrambled to his feet and he tries to kick me but I grab his feet and yank him backward .

He groans . I kick his stomach until he is out of consciousness.

"Now remember , don't ever think that you can beat everyone from abnegation." I spit at him. "Or you will regret."

I walk away. My fist stings . Will and Edward help Peter to the ground.

"Let him walk by himself . When my sister was injured , none of you offered to help except Christina ." I say. "So he has to walk himself ."

They put Peter down. Tris wraps her arm around my arm.

"I am fine sister ." Tris shakes her head

"When other people bullied you, you have to fight back. That is what dauntless do." I say. "Not like you."

I walk away. Then I faint. When I wake up, duke is beside me.

"You were angry with Peter ." Duke holds my hand . "You shouldn't do this Alina . You know that you haven't recovered yet. I will do it."
