Master and Apprentice
Six months after the destruction of the Death Star and the Death of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ezra has covered much with his two Apprentices, however the Inquisitors are becoming much more deadly with the addition of Darth Vader on their tails. AU.
Chapter 1: An Unexpected Call
The sky was clear on Yavin IV, the birds were singing, and the sun was shining down on the Rebel base, Luke's only problem was that it was six in the morning. Luke and Mara stood tiredly next to a couple other Jedi Learners, while they watch Ezra and Galen duel each other.
"The key to defeating your enemy is to locate their weakness, with Galen, it would be his pride and anger, and with Ezra, it would be his limbs and Anger." Said Kota, walking behind them.
"The common problem with them both is Anger." Said Ahsoka, "Galen was once a Shadow hand, while Ezra has watched people he's cared about being torn from him."
"Ahsoka, I thought the goal was to teach them, not insult us." Said Ezra, ducking under one of Galen's Blades, while bringing his lightsaber, a green bladed one, to block Galen's other blade.
"True." Said Ahsoka, smirking, "But that isn't going to stop me."
"Some of you have yet to awaken to the force," Said Kota, stopping behind Leia, before continuing, "Others have to control your abilities."
"Normally you'd have Jedi Masters training you, but since those are in short supply, we'll have to do." Said Ahsoka, as Ezra kicked the back of Galen's knee, knocking him off balance.
Ezra held his purple blade to Galen's neck, Galen huffed.
"I yield." Muttered Galen, deactivating his lightsabers.
"Can anyone tell me what caused Galen to lose?" Asked Dass Jennir, looking around the trainees.
"Galen focused on his attacks rather than his defence?" Questioned Mara, making Jennar nod.
"Good, but what else did he do?" Asked Ahsoka, looking at the other Jedi Learners.
"He allowed Ezra to control the battle." Said Jai Kell, someone that Ezra knew from Lothal.
"And how did Ezra control the battle?" Asked Kota, his colourless eyes gazing into everyone's soul.
"He stone walled Galen until Galen became too frustrated to see that Ezra was baiting him and capitalised on his anger." Responded Mara, her arms folded, "It's a common tactic with Form III of Lightsabre combat."
"Very good, Dismissed." Said Kota, causing the group to disperse.
"Ahsoka, could I speak with you?" Asked Ezra, approaching the Togruta.
"Of course, Leia, why don't you go inside?" Replied Ahsoka, looking at Leia.
"Yes, Master." Said Leia, before walking off.
"You remember what I told you about my vision on Tatooine?" Asked Ezra, walking alongside Ahsoka.
"Yes, about the Death Star and that Temple you were in." Said Ahsoka, looking at Ezra.
"I identified the Temple's world as Malachor." Said Ezra, looking at the Togruta.
Ahsoka stiffened, remembering the events that had transpired on that planet.
"Coupled with the Seventh Sister and Fifth Brother surviving their 'deaths' and Maul's disappearance after his defeat at the hands of Obi-Wan shortly before Kanan was taken by the Empire." Said Ezra, looking down.
"You believe that Maul was trying to contact you." Said Ahsoka, looking at Ezra.
Ezra nodded, "How else could you explain it?"
"I know that visions look inwards upon yourself but having a vision of the past, Ezra, there's only so much we can understand of the Force, and its intentions." Said Ahsoka, before turning to go inside, "We should head inside, there's a storm on the way."
Ezra nodded before going to follow her, with a strange feeling that it wasn't Maul trying to contact him.

Lightning clashed outside, jerking Ezra from his sleep. Ezra quickly surveyed his surroundings before looking down at Leia who was beside him. The young woman's bare shoulder had been resting on him, and had suddenly moved when he woke up, which woke Leia as well.
"Ezra?" Yawned Leia, "What's wrong?"
Leia sat up, holding the sheets to her chest, and looked at Ezra.
"I felt something." Said Ezra, feeling unsure, "Something that I haven't felt in a long time."
"Aside from me, you mean?" Joked Leia, making Ezra chuckle.
"Yes, aside from you." Replied Ezra, "But this felt, something was trying to talk to me."
"Perhaps you should speak with the other master's about it, maybe they'll know what to do." Suggested Leia.
"I'll speak with them in the morning." Said Ezra, before looking at the chrono, which read 5:45, "Or I'll speak with them now." Said Ezra, getting out of bed and getting dressed, Leia following suit.
"We should find Ahsoka in the command centre." Said Leia, "She usually goes there before she has something to eat."
Ezra nodded before heading out, Leia rolled her eyes and followed him.
Ezra and Leia passed multiple Rebels on the way to the Command centre, including Luke and Mara, who for some reason, were coming out of a supply closet, fixing various articles of clothing.
Ezra and Leia slowed and stopped in front of the two.
"When I said get to know each other," Said Ezra, making them jump, "This wasn't what I had in mind."
Luke blushed, while Mara just glared at Ezra.
"Pot, kettle, black arse." Said Mara, making Ezra frown, then nod.
"Good point." Said Ezra, before continuing his way to the command centre.
"General, have you seen Ahsoka?" Ezra asked General Dodonna, who shook his head.
"She's usually up here." Said Dodonna, looking at Ezra.
"Why are you looking for her?" Asked Mara, looking at Ezra.
"I keep getting these visions and feelings, that are not my own." Said Ezra, turning to look at one of his padawans.
"Then, perhaps we should investigate it." Said Ahsoka, walking through the doorway.
"And if it is Maul?" Asked Ezra, frowning slightly.
"Ezra, did they feel like Maul's emotions?" Asked Ahsoka, as Jennar, Galen and Kota joined them.
"No, it felt more like Kanan, before he fell." Said Ezra, unconsciously brushing over his bionic eye.
"That Inquisitor that you met on the Death Star could've been a clone," Said Kota, getting everyone's attention, "The Empire has been able to Clone force sensitives before."
Ezra frowned and nodded, "I can sense the emotions, but not where they are coming from."
Everyone was silent, before Mara broke the silence, "We could meditate on it."
Mara started laughing, before it trailed off as she realised that every was seriously considering it, "I was joking."
"But, it may actually work." Said Kota, rubbing his chin, "Junda and Kestis are back from their extended mission, so they could help and Suduri's finished her probation period."
Ahsoka frowned, "If we do this, we may reveal our location to the Empire."
Everyone froze, they hadn't given it a thought. Ezra sighed, "Besides, if we did find something, we'd probably have to bust into some stronghold under heavy guard."
"Galen and Mara could go with you." Said Kota, suddenly.
"They were high ranking Imperials," Said Jennar, nodding, "And they'd make a small team, small enough to get in somewhere without being noticed."
Ahsoka frowned, but nodded, "Take a shuttle and go into Hyperspace, if you meditate there, you should be difficult to find."
Ezra nodded, before looking at Galen and Mara, "We better get ready then."
The two nodded and departed for their quarters to locate their effects.
Ahsoka looked at the Rebel Leaders, "We should prepare the ships for take-off, the sooner we're off this planet, the better."

Ezra felt the shuttle vibrate as it flew through Hyperspace, Mara and Galen's hands on his shoulders as he opened up his emotions. Almost immediately, Ezra felt the presence reach out to him. Ezra saw a room with metal walls and a medical droid.
"Keep him stable," Said Dominus, glaring at the droid's patient, "I have enough trouble with cell degradation with him still alive."
Ezra heard the patient groan, before Dominus kicked him, "Oh, shut up."
Era suddenly found himself back in the shuttle, "We need to get to Typhon."
Galen and Mara froze, "The Imperial garrison is made up of the best of the best, getting in there won't be easy." Said Mara, as she input the co-ordinates.
"Then we'll have to be careful." Said Ezra, taking the co-pilots seat.
Galen glared at the two, "I thought I was the one with the stupid ideas."
"You're the one with the stupid self-sacrificing ideas." Corrected Ezra, grinning, "I'm the one with the stupid rescue mission ideas."
Galen snorted, as they dropped out of Hyperspace.
