(Author's Note: Hello my readers, and welcome to the newest installment of the "Poly JNPR" series.

Hope you guys enjoy:)

At 2:00 on this Sunday afternoon, the members of Team JNPR were left relaxing in their room. While Jaune and Pyrrha were playing a game of checkers on the desk, Ren was reading a book on their bed and Nora played her handheld game on the floor next to said bed.

Overall…it was about as normal, and relaxing, of a day that you could get.

"Anyone else getting hungry?" Jaune asked out of the blue, frowning at Pyrrha's victory (and ignoring the smirk on the redhead's face).

"I am feeling quite peckish," Pyrrha spoke up.

Ren shrugged, "I could eat."

Nora was on her feet in barely two seconds, "YES! I. Am. STARVIIIIIING!"

"You ate an entire bag of chips not even one hour ago," Ren commented, reaching for his bookmark (handmade by his loves, complete with yellow swords, red shields, pink hammers, and green guns).

"Yeah…back THEN! Besides, everyone knows that chips aren't very filling anyway. It's practically like eating nothing at all."

"Is that a fact?" Pyrrha chuckled as she and Jaune put away the checkerboard.

"PRETTY sure that's not how that works, Nora," Jaune chimed in.

Nora rolled her eyes and turned her head…toward you, reading this story, "Don't mind them. They just don't know anything about food."

Jaune and Pyrrha stared on in confusion, watching as Nora turned off her game and placed it back in the drawer.

"Um, what…w-what was that?"

Nora looked back to Jaune, "What was what?" The leader and the champion shared a confused glance.

"Um…Nora?"

"Yes, Pyrrha?"

"Just a moment ago. You…spoke to the corner?"

"Ooooooooh," Nora put a finger to her chin, seeming to think for a second…before waving them off, "Don't worry about it. It's a whole thing…and is pretty complicated."

"No, it's not," Ren spoke up before he turned to Jaune and Pyrrha, "It's something that Nora has done since we were children. She pretends that she's in a TV show or movie, and talks to her "audience"."

"Hey!" Nora called out, hands on her hips and a frown on her face, "…for your information, it's a STORY today. An online one, so you know it's fancy and cutting-edge!"

Ren nodded, a small smirk on his face, "Of course. My apologies."

Jaune, an eyebrow raised, glanced between Nora and Ren, "How have we never noticed this before?"

Ren shrugged, "It was far more common in our youth. It became less so as we grew older."

"Okay," Pyrrha spoke up, "Well…why don't head down to the cafeteria? I'm sure that I speak for all of us when I say that I certainly wouldn't mind a taste of their lasagna."

"Oh! Yes!" Nora cheered, leaping over onto Jaune's back, "The lasagna Beacon serves is ALWAYS tasty! Much more reliable than their pizza (1)."

Jaune laughed out loud, reaching back to grab ahold of Nora's thighs and hold her steady, "Yeah, I'm pretty starved. We can talk about Nora's so-called "audience" later." Nora promptly smacked Jaune's head.

"Hush up you! Don't speak to the readers that way!" Nora pouted at her lovers' (teasing) laughter as they walked out of their room. As they filed into the hallway, Nora leaned her head backward…and gave you a wink, one finger against her lips.

(Author's Note: Annnnnnnnd scene!

(1): That was actually true at my college. The pizza they served was really good for the first year but after that? It was a guess as to whether it would be good on any given day. It was weird:/

-Yeah. This was something a little stupid that came to me less than a week ago. I thought it'd be funny. Was it?

Has Nora ever broken the fourth wall in the series proper (not counting Chibi, which has the "Nothing Bad Ever Happened" scene)? I'd be surprised if she didn't, as she'd be a pretty good candidate to do so. I also think that Tyrian would be a really good candidate to do so consistently, what with him being insane and all.

Just to clear something up real quick: each installment of "Poly JNPR" is set in the same universe. Despite the more "joking" nature of this one-shot, it IS canon to the overall timeline.

Constructive criticism ONLY…no flames, please.
