The group of elves arrived at Havenfeild and couldn't help staring at how amazing the decorations were. "Hey, glad you could make it," Sophie said enthusiastically, even though Tam could tell she hadn't slept in days. "Grady and Edaline are gonna come out soon, they'll be so surprised," Sophie said, falling over into Keefe's arms as he walked up. "Hey Foster, don't fall asleep on me, you promised me a dance," Keefe teased. "I'm dead inside," Sophie groaned. "Well, anyway enjoy the party," Keefe said carrying Sophie away. "Come on," Linh said dragging Fitz away. "Be careful," Fitz whispered in Tam's ear before he was dragged away by surprisingly strong Linh. "Or else," he mouthed.
Or else what? Tam thought.
Tam gulped down a cup of Sophie's extremely sour homemade lushberry juice, "What did she put in this?" "How is it?" Keefe said, "I hope you like it because I made it, Sophie was overwhelmed." Tam gagged, "No wonder it tastes so horrible." "Wow, Tam, cold," Keefe said, walking away creepily.
"Wanna dance?" Biana asked as she sipped the sour juice. "Uhh, ok," Tam squeaked. "Cool," Biana said as she gripped Tam's hand and pulled him to the dance floor. Wylie's human playlist played in the background as they danced on and on. Tam couldn't believe he had landed a date with such a perfect girl. "I uh I'm really glad you could come with me," Tam said sweetly. "Me too," Biana said dreamily, staring into Tam's gorgeous silver eyes.
"Hey you wouldn't want to take a walk with me would you," Biana asked nervously. "Sure," said Tam. "How about to the Panakes tree and back?" "You're perfect, uhh I mean it's perfect." Tam stammered. They walked in silence, hands edging closer and closer to each other, hearts' racing a million miles a minute. "Tam, I want to tell you something," Biana said as they reached the tree. "Yeah," Tam mumbled as a swarm of butterflies flew into his stomach. "I, uh, I, luh, luh, love you!" She said as tears hit her eyes. She leaned in close, Tam didn't know what to do, right as their lips brushed against each other a bloodcurdling scream rang out from the party.
