At New Yoke city, the recovery was interrupted by sudden decay. One of its resident, Tails Nine, was haunted by it.
"This... a reminder of how far I tried to go..." Nine broke down and recalled his time with the Paradox Prism. "I misused it... trying to create a paradise in the Grim... nearly destroyed everything..."
"Just who is using the Paradox Prism somehow?" Renegade Knucks facepalmed.
"Even worse, every time something changes everything here, we floats..." Rebel Rouge scratching her head in confusion. "We're in a recovery journey, and it's being interrupted!"
"Sonic... I failed him until he let me make up for it..." Nine is depressed. "Thanks goodness all Shatterspaces... all restored..."
"And why would someone try to undo everything we did on the... multiverse?" Rebel Rouge looked up.
"Shatterverse? Decaying!?" Renegade knucks noticed the rifts.
A big spaceship fly down from a rift, looking vaguedly similar to the Chaos Council tech. The people panicked at the sight of this mysterious spaceship, but a megaphone boomed...
"We're not here to destroy or subjugate you! We're here for help!" Sonic called.
"Sonic?" Nine recognized the voice. "Sonic! I missed you!"
"I want to know your names, Rebel's friends." Sonic continued. "i came from a world beyond Shatter, so I don't know any of you. Only heard of Rebel Rouge from an AI."
The resistance is confused.
"You clearly knows the Paradox Prism. Together, we can save all of the entire multiverse!" Sonic then called for attention onboard. "Everyone, lift down!"
The ship levitates, and its underside is lifted down, revealing the retractable platform where the Team Superstars stands.
"Greetings, New Yoke. I'm finding my Rouge, and I have another Rouge accompanying us." Shadow greeted everyone. "No, I'm not the same one on the Grim."
"World... beyond?" Rusty Rose caught on. "What is it?"
The four came to in front of the ship. Sonic drops down and ground.
"My name is Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog, but as I said, I am not the Sonic you met." Sonic greeted the four. "I came from a world which the Paradox Prism never existed. There's a multiverse beyond just the Shatterverse."
"Huh? You're not the Sonic I met?" Nine is confused. "So, again... my name is Nine. You weren't there. I was a kid, minding my business but not minding the surroundings, so creeps came along and picked on me for having one extra tail. I took a beating. It was the same for years, until I used my cunning fox brain to give me a real way to fight back. I take care of myself and need no one... until one day..."
"A version of me ran by. After shattering the Paradox Prism, he ended up on New Yoke." Sonic added.
"How do you know about that?" Nine is surprised.
"The mysterious hedgehog impersonating me has told me. Sage also picked on data files regarding your... world." Sonic continued. "Ask Sage. She's great."
"Who is she?" Renegade Knucks spotted Sage.
"Bruh... the more time you waste, the closer the hedgehog beyond will come! So let's make this quick..." Eggman clears throat. "We are Team Superstars. An alliance between the real hedgehog and his friends, the resistance, and some extras. And the other two."
Classic Sonic, Boom!Sonic and Prime!Rouge went down to meet the four.
"Three Sonics!?" Shocked the four.
"...and me!?" And Rebel Rouge's caught off guard.
"You're me of the red. A heroic rebel." Prime!Rouge.
"We gotta work together to save all of the multiverse. Not just Shatterspaces, but everything." Sonic called. "The mysterious hedgehog impersonator that I mentioned actually have the Paradox Prism, he's going to shatter the multiverse! Not just universe, but MULTIVERSE!"
"You remind me of my evil... I may have had good point, but betraying Sonic... it turned out to be too much." Nine is horrified. "I wanted to make the Grim a paradise... my method fell to misuse the Prism, and I nearly destroyed the Shatterverse."
"I see once you saw Sonic's good, i.e. a version of me helping all spaces, you fixed the Prism, and saved the Shatterverse and restored that timeline's Green Hill." Sonic added. "And that timeline's Shadow brought his Sonic back and teleported the Prism away. He found the Phantom Ruby while on the way stowing, and the interaction led to the creation of the mysterious hedgehog we're dealing with."
"Hedgehog? Are you-" Renegade Knucks is suddenly frozen by Merlina.
"Apologies. I had to be involved into distant worlds." Merlina lands down.
The team lands down around the four, and the Wisps arrived. They looked around, and saw the influence of the Chaos Council.
"The Chaos Council disappeared. Kicked out." Rebel Rouge commented. "We're trying to remove their influence, now that they cannot rule over us again."
"Five Eggmen." Renegade Knucks scoffed at the Eggmen. "Not gonna tell their names 'cause we must forget it."
"Hello... nine-tail me?" Tails greeted Nine. "Oh, also meet the little me."
"Two more me? What are you?" Nine have no idea.
"I have also been picked on for my extra tail. Then Sonic ran by, defeating all the jerks!" Classic Tails recapped Tailses' backstory. "Poor you, who didn't have Sonic or any kind of friends before you made yourself further extra tails."
"Ugh! Two imposter of me!" Renegade Knucks tried to attack his main counterparts.
"Stop. Can't we just be cooperative for once?" Knuckles groaned.
"Did I gain... another sister? Or two?" Rusty 'flustered' around the Amys, as both hugged the cyborg.
"Nine, the mysterious hedgehog is doing the same kind of thing you once tried to do." Sonic explained to Nine. "Our home has been shattered. On both front. Me and the little me, alongside the team, were sucked down into Glitched Hill, a horribly twisted version of the Green Hill. We reunited, only to be transferred into the Green Hill eaten time, where we fought some robotic duplicates of the Deadly Six. Then we went back to Glitched and our Tails' workshop, which became a fortress somehow, led by President Miles, an elder version of Tails whose AI is manning the ship we came from. We found out a lot along the way, including what happened to your Shadow."
"What Sonic just said. And that the mysterious hedgehog is using the overclocked Phantom Ruby and the Paradox Prism together." Shadow added. "Since you don't know about the Phantom Ruby, well, the Ruby shines red-magenta, and create and manipulate illusions to impose reality. An alternative timeline's Metal Sonic overclocked it, allowing the Ruby to outright warp actual reality using illusions, with no cooldown whatsoever."
"You're saying an outside context is actually misusing the Prism. And we thought the Prism is safe." Nine responded in horror. "And a hedgehog impersonating Sonic... is doing it!?"
"Yeah, and he's trying to shatter the mu;tiverse, for revenge on us all for his existence." Sonic added. "Oh, and he did that, probably knowing that we never knew he existed."
"Ahhh, we'll join. He'll pay for it!" Nine accepted. "Guys, prepare for takeoff! This-"
"Spaceship is up. We'll further introductions along the way." Chip added.
-*awkward silence*
"Ok, let's assemble again!" Rebel Rouge flew out. "The rebellion's aiding the wanderers! They means no harm, and we're in danger anyways!"
And so, the rebellion formed an alliance with Team Superstars, also allowing them to meet the Wisps.
"The spaceship is just enough for you guys and other worlds." New Yoke version of Big the Cat called.
"HELLO!" The main Big yelled.
The rebellion easily fits into the ship, with still ample amount of room and space left. The groups retracted the platform, and flew away. That's when the hedgehog appeared by.
"New Yoke, meet your god." The hedgehog jumpscared those who's staying behind.
"Danger has appeared before the city. No!" Rusty noticed.
"Hey, you!" Silver called the hedgehog out. "You're repeating the mistakes Tails Nine did! He's on our side, and he regretted misused the-"
"Paradox Prism? Ha!" The hedgehog laughed.
"So you're doing the same misuse of the Prism?" Nine called the hedgehog out. "I won't let that happen again."
"Nine. Or should I say, Tails. Have you forgotten the paradise you promised yourself?" The hedgehog picked on Nine for his extreme.
"I let that matter alone already. I have been at peace at New Yoke ever since." Nine objected. "And why do you feel like Sonic?!"
"I am a god, and Sonic created me." The hedgehog scoffed. "All it took is an overclocked Phantom Ruby to free me. Now, I couldn't have been any better."
"You shattered our home, filthy hedgehog imposter!" Robotnik raged at the hedgehog. "At least our Sonic is some kind of hero against me!"
"Eggman, you don't know your place?" The hedgehog dismissed. "How can you put your genius mind to good use if you're so arrogant you fails to learn from your failing?"
"You're so annoying!" Eggman fumed out.
"I agree with father. You, false Sonic, is a freak. Bullying the entire multiverse just for your own fun and shit." Sage agreed. "You're an evil Sonic."
"All you have to do is choose. Either surrender, or die. It's that simple." The hedgehog smugly refuted. "No other choice."
"We're saving the multiverse, and you don't prevail!" Eggman declared as the ship enters the rift.
"Fine. You chose death." The hedgehog used the Phantom Ruby effect to crush New Yoke world.
"This Shatterspace we just left is... glitching and vibrating!" Tails monitored. "It's..."
"Ugh... I will avenge..." Nine groans.
The New Yoke exploded, taking all whom stayed behind with it.
"New Yoke! It's gone!" Renegade Knucks threw a tantrum. "New Yoke is destroyed!"
The rebellion took their time to mourn the exploding space, as the ship moves on to Boscage Maze. Speaking of Boscage...
"What is this blade?" Thorn Rose, with her Birdie examining a sword in a stone. "On a mysterious boulder..."
The massive tree arrays is blocking out most of the view, obscuring the sky which's literally being torn apart by rifts. The spaceship arrived from one and down to the massive dense forest.
"All the traces of some Chaos buildings..." Gnarly Knuckles examined the forest, suspecting as typical.
Mangey flew around and spotted the dying trees, not yet knowing that the Paradox Prism is being used in conjunction with the Phantom Ruby. Eventually, the scavengers went back with nothing but rifts and buildings to show for it.
"We've run out of food!" Hangry threw a tantrum because everyone here's running out of any consumables. "At this rate... we're going-"
"HEY!" Sonic called on megaphone by the ship, as the platform lift down. "It's me, Sonic, but not the kind you met!"
"Huh?" Everyone there heard it.
"Scanning complete. There is a version of Amy below us." sage pointed it down.
The ship floats down and nearly land on the forest. Thorn immediately likened the sound to Chaos Council's ships, while the scavengers arrived.
"Sound like the Chaos Council or..." Prim listened more closely.
Sonic lands down, using the trees and his own spin dash to soften the landing.
"Alright, it's me, Sonic, but not your Sonic. I, and my Tails and my Knuckles and my Amy and even our Rouge and Big... come from a world way beyond the Shatterspace." Sonic explained. "Your Sonic shattered the Paradox Prism, and boom, this place is created. It seems... this forest of yours is sacred to you all."
"Yes. For instance, I was to protect this forest." Thorn bluntly replied. "I'm Thorn Rose. My Birdie is big enough, a few of us can ride in. Those scavengers used to be my enemy for greed, but we've made up. They're Prim, Gnarly, Hangry, and Mangey."
"Great! But we have to be fast, or the hedgehog will destroy this world before you leave!" Sonic continued. "My world on both time have been shattered, forcing me and my friends, Eggman and more, to unite. We're dealing with the mysterious hedgehog apparently impersonating me, and is using both the Phantom Ruby and the Paradox Prism. You clearly knows the Prism, but the Ruby basically imposes edited illusions onto reality itself. An alternative Metal Sonic or Chaos Sonic or so overclocked the Ruby, and said Ruby later reacted with the Prism!"
"Woah. That's really long story." Prim is surprised.
Classic Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Prime!Rouge, Boom!Sonic and Rebel Rouge landed down.
"We're Sonic's best friends, But we have even more friends and allies on top." Knuckles added.
"Rebel! You'reback!" Prim called Rebel. "And what's... me?"
"And the other us!?" The scavengers are shocked.
Rusty Rose and Classic Amy both landed to aside with Amy, shocking Thorn.
"You, with the other me?" Thorn is shocked.
"Forest sister, I've found two new sisters." Rusty introduced the two.
"Nice to meet you. You look wild!" Amy hugged Thorn, flustering the latter.
"We don't have much time. Get the forest cleared up so we can go up!" Sonic commanded.
"You come from another timeline?" Prim is confused.
"Sort of." Sonic chuckled.
Silver dropped down and uprooted all the excess tree around the co., exposing them and revealing to them the broken sky. This shook the Boscage team, because they finally saw what's really happening to their world.
"My world! My forest! It's endangered!" Thorn panicked.
"Then help us save the multiverse! The hedgehog is destroying your world, and we're dealing with him!" Sonic added.
"Huh? Thorn, what's this blade?" Prim finally noticed the blade.
"Excalibur!" Sonic recognized the blade. "Merlina, drop me the gauntlet!"
"You've found the holy sword! Here, let me!" Merlina dropped the gauntlet.
Sonic quickly catched and equipped, and then he pulled the sword out. "Finally! After so long, I get to hold it again! I'm a knight!"
"Let me lift you all up." Silver used his psychokinesis to lift Boscage team up.
