"It's..." Knuckles panicked.

Two pairs have arrived. Two of them - a lemur with strong tail, and a whisper-wolf - armored in a system physically resembles Tangle and Whisper, but with the eyes of Metal Sonic. Accompanying them is two Grim robots of vaguely similar proportions and eerily exact abilities.

"Tangle and Whisper!" Amy pointed it out. "There's a two times two! Two are some Grim bots!"

"Roboticized Masters!" Dr. Wily panicked.

"You must be dreaming." Whisper echoed.

"Metal Virus... Masters! Oh no!" Zazz panicked.

"And we are going to kill you. Your existence isn't worth an idea!" Tangle saying something clearly out of her character.

"Good luck, Tangle Woman and Whisper Woman." Nightmare Rose, but now heard by psychic Silver. "Grim Tangle, Grim Whisper. Kill them."

"Nightmare Rose. She set those up." Silver found out. "Tangle Woman and Whisper Woman. Grim Tangle and Grim Whisper."

"Our grim reflection, go!" The Roboticized Masters targeted the army.

The Grims rushed to the army, and immediately started with a whack with lemur's tail and a volley of energy blasts. Grim Tangle is extremely quick and agile, quickly proving against the numeral superiority and skills that the members possess. Once again, Knight Arthur is knocked out of his own armor.

"Weapon equip! Power Gear!" Mega Man cycled through with Power Gear enabled, tending to overpower the tail of Grim Tangle.

Sonic used Speed Force to cover the reflex of lemur-bot, as well as calling the Wisps against Grim Whisper. Of course, the robo-wolf had to harness some Hyper-Go-On for itself, which is responded by the army using the different-colored Wisps.

"Everyone! Rally!"

Tangle Woman and Whisper Woman standing there, prepping for a strike with killing intent... something that really can get Sonic and co. all killed. In the meantime...

"Su! Su! We got you! We shared the multiverse, and we're going to save it! We help the resistance!" Mina arrived to Julie-Su's cell.

"Mina? Did you just..." Julie-Su woke up.

"Thanks to the dream serum. Now it's time we escape!" Mina whipped up her Rhythm Wispon, a guitar powered by her Magenta Wisp, Bowie.

"It's me, Scourge, revived as a robian. We don't have much time." Scourge revealed himself. "Oh, and we have a strange EMP device that cloaks us but not riff me off."

"What's this? Never seen that one before." Julie-Su is confused.

"We'll explain on the way. Also, this devices only last for half a minute per use. And some cooldown, so quick!" Mina stuck the Wispon on the force field (digital spring) and strummed it.

The Hyper-go-on power immediately overpowered the field, and Scourge took the chance to pull Julie-Su out of her cell. The EMP device is then activated, revealing itself to be a stealth camoflauge that make the three invisible. In the meantime, Sonia and Manic revealed themselves to Volnutt, who was so depressed that he just sat down in his cage, crying.

"Let us rescue you. It's us paying your favor!" Sonia supplied the picks.

Manic then picked the lock, and opened the cage. Volnutt is suddenly overjoyed at the freedom he's just given back, and stepped out.

"THANK YOU!" The boy hugged the two hedgehogs, just in time for the three to arrive.

"OMG! Volnutt! You're free for real!" Scourge hugged Volnutt in excitement. "We're escaping this together, and help out some resistance. We're bringing down Team Shatter!"

"I'm free! Time to get ready for revenge!" Julie-Su then in excitement, blasted some of the locks of other cages nearby, melting that and let the cages open loose.

A flock of prisoners rallied alongside the gang, voicing their frustrations and horrific truths about the ritual Scourge nearly underwent last night. Two of the supposed victims are two from newer era, with abilities seemingly drawing from Sonic and Tails respectively.

"Heh..." A tenrec smirked. "What's this? Sonic case?"

"Uh... hello? Who are you?" Julie-Su looked back.

In the meantime, the army is struggling against the two Grims, leaving the Robot Masters to go ambush the Roboticized Masters. With the Double Gear System, they went all out just so they can stop.

"Well, this is only enough to keep them from harming others. We need Sonic and Mega Man!" Proto Man realized. "Are we done with the Grims yet?"

Grim Whisper ambushed Proto Man and Bass, and managed to choke NiGHTS. The Heroes of Tomorrow fired their Wispons, followed by a blunt D-Dive from Ryu-5 and the vibrating Excalibur.

"Merlina! Trip! Smash the vision of those robots." Sonic clashed against Grim Tangle.

Thorn Rose bounced off her Birdie and went for a crushing blow, which is easily blocked by Grim Tangle's nanomachine tail.

"O Underground, smite the constructs!" Merlina slided around, delivering a slash right on the nanomachine tail with a cast Deathcalibur.

This stunned Grim Tangle, and Trip is quick to dump her armor on Grim Whisper and Spin-Dashed right on the false lemur's visor. With the visor severely damaged, Grim Tangle lost nearly the entirety of its vision.

But suddenly, Whisper Woman whipped out from her back, all those Wispons that Whisper would typically use.

"She's doing barrage." Stella pointed it out.

Cue all kinds of Hyper-go-on blasts across the room, tearing down much of its props. Habaki is hit by much of those, but healed it off and whipped his sword.

"I can't believe they would become pragmatic enough to mess with us." Rindou turnd the Longinuslanze into an arrow, and then loaded.

Grim Whisper would do the same trick as well, bombarding the army. Fortunately, without enough vision, Grim Tangle tripped every time it rushed, even worse than Trip ever did. Cue the Deadly Six approaching the false lemur.

"Die!" Tangle Woman kicked Zavok on the back in surprise.

Her weapon, dubbed Tangle Uber-tail, smacked the zeti in one fell swoop, even whacking Zomom with said spiked tail and thus causing him intense pain. Cue a scream in utter agony.

"Oh no!" X, Zero and Axl together barely shielded themselves from Zomom.

Tangle Woman attempted to crush Zeena's skull, but Habaki fired a compressed ball of ki on the face, knocking it away. Then, a clash ensued.

"They're strong! And the Phantom Ruby is forcibly capping my powers!" Habaki clashed with Tangle Woman.

"Where should I aim at? This arrow's an instant." Rindou asked. "Quick! Those are beating us down one by one, and we're holding this!"

This came to notice by Grim Whisper, which then rushed with its own version of Whisper's Variable Wispon to do a version of Final Color Blaster - one that Whisper can use to simply kill someone. And this robot is going for a point-blank blast against the Apostasis herself.

"Miss... Koga!" Sonic bursted up, and suddenly...

All seemed to have stopped, even the light (which means that without the Speed Force grafting the perspective at the moment, even the photons, Sonic wouldn't see anything at all) and molecules itself (without Speed Force, this speed would normally be freezing for user, even to physical feel). Sonic has just tapped so deep with his innate speed all into the Speed Force, and his heroism and justice ended up leading to him basically stopping time. Rindou was about to be killed by Grim Whisper. Habaki was holding against Tangle Woman. Whisper Woman is bombarding the room. All is stopped.

"Oh. My. God." Sonic is in disbelief.

Sonic then walked off where he was... wherever he goes got blueshifted as he moves, while where he left became redshifted. All that, on not only on musclar level, but even atomic level too.

"Oh. I feel like... I'm becoming a god... through speed alone." Sonic is surprised.

At the moment, Grim Whisper is bursting to Rindou who is just aiming for some target right there. And...

*blasts and boom*

"Uh?" Rindou just saw it as a white flash.

Grim Whisper whacked out and quickly exploded, releasing a bunch of bursts of Hyper-go-on energy all at once, injuring here it hit. And then, Sonic stepped down, right besides Rindou herself.

"What!?" The Roboticized Masters noticed.

"Shoryuken!" Ryu and Ken together dragon-punched Whisper Woman thanks to this amount of distraction.

"Misogiharae... YOMOTSUGAERI!"/"桃花・黄泉返り!" Habaki emanated against Tangle Woman with a simple swing, finally managing to briefly counter the power of the Phantom Ruby, in turn quaking the entire room and stunning Tangle Woman.

Both Roboticized Masters ended up collapsing near each other, just in front of Habaki. Grim Tangle finally got up, but is shot down by Rindou with Tenma Fukumetsu.

"Fine. Well, looks like these Grim robots are engineered to be Apostasis of the two odd friends of yours." Rindou shrugged at Sonic. "Well, it's time we finish this!"

"Finally!" Sonic reached Mega Man. "Let's!"

Cue the Spin Dash Blast on both the Roboticized Masters, destroying the robotic armors. The Heroes of Tomorrow then celebrated the move, cheering as if victorious.

"Hah..." Rindou retrieved the Longinuslanze. "Thanks goodness."

The smoke from the explosion the dual blast slowly receded, and the two blue heroes hi-fives.

"Good job, master!" Shahra came for the good news.

"Oh, Shahra... well. I tapped into Speed Force so deep, it's... stopped time for a while." Sonic revealed. "Wow. I just saved a goddess. I now have a power of a god... through speed alone."

The smoke cleared out, revealing Tangle and Whisper... except they've been infected with the Metal Virus that Sally and Nicole told back in Cyber Dream. Both smirked.

"Wait... they have... metal skin?" Eggman squinted. "Is that..."

"You... metal skins?" Habaki looked in.

"Wait... so they're..." Sonic is shocked. "No... NO!"

"Yes... you're dead..." Tangle got up. "We are... Sigma..."

"Sigma... you mean...!?" Sigma himself is caught off-guard.

The two got up, clanking with glowing magenta eyes and purple aura. Whisper just giggled, with a disturbing echo.

"Kill... you..." Tangle run towards the humans.

Cue a swing of the spiked tail, and... *clash*

"What?" Mega Man noticed.

"Ha... I have finally setup a Variable Wispon!" It was Marine the Racoon, swinging another Variable Wispon in Blue Cube mode. "It's just like miss Whisper's!"

Whisper then intervened, using the Variable Wispon corrupted by Metal Virus and Sigma Virus. Cue the two Wispons clashing, and undergoes Yellow Drill mode both.

"I need those!" Ichiban yelled.

"Well... it's even better! Final Color Reality Shift!" Marine engaged.

Cue multiple different-colored Wisps on her Wispon, quickly overpowering Whisper. The Wispon then quickly made quick work on Tangle and her tail.

"Argh!" Both collapsed, forcibly recovering just to get back. The Metal Virus vibrated from the impact, briefly glitching out the real bodies.

"Tangle! Whisper!" The Team Superstars called out against the Metal Virus. "Marine! Don't kill them!"

"I'm just trying to erase the virus, not kill our friends!" Marine then shot both with the unique Wispon.

The combined power of Hyper-go-on released in full evaporated all of the Metal Virus from Tangle and Whisper, driving the Sigma Virus away and restoring their body back to normal. Tangle and Whisper collapsed for real, unconscious.

"My goodness!" The normally-iron-calm Espio is shocked. "It... erased the Metal Virus!"

"I just cured the two by burning the virus to the core with power!" Marine deactivated the Wispon. "By the way, this design inspired by from the comics. And it's much more effective too. Whisper could only channel one Wisp at a time."

The Wispon in question is a much sleeker version of the one Whisper uses, resembling a cross between umbrella, a rifle, a Wisp Capsule and a ninjato (sword used by ninjas). The handle is more ergonomic, the stock is built-in and hooked, the studs are smaller and more compact and spiky, and the large open piece is smaller and flatter and integrated with a straight blade, the latter of which comprises nearly two-third of the total length of the Wispon and doubles as its barrel. This Wispon is overall roughly one-and-a-half as long as Whisper's (in fact it's even longer than she herself is tall), and is the same length as the Exacalibur that Sonic has been using.

"This weapon looks... amazing." Charmy is amazed.

"A... sword... rifle? With Hyper-go-on?" The Heroes of Tomorrow leaned to see the Wispon.

"Ok... since we're multiversal pals, let me think of who..." Marine stuck the weapon on the ground with its tail end.

"I think... of a knight..." Merlina glanced at the Avatar. "A knight... besides the great King Arthur..."

"Rookie?" Team Chaotix looked at the Avatar.

"A great hero deserves a worthy weapon." Merlina snatched the Wispon from Marine.

"So you have remembered our stories about Phantom Ruby. Cool." Sonic then cut the gate with vibrating Excalibur. "Alright, go ahead. Knuckles, help me with his."

"Oh, really?" All the versions of Knuckles rushed.

"Soldier from distant worlds... you're a great hero of your people." Merlina gave the Avatar the Wispon, much to the latter's reluctance. "This weapon is to slay evil."

The Avatar stepped down, bowed and then retrived the special Wispon. Silver used psychokinesis to carry both Tangle and Whisper.

"Tangle... Whisper... Let's go." Silver went by.

The Knuckles' have opened the gate, and all of the unified army can get in. In the meantime...

"Alright. Where are we going to go?" Scourge sneaked in.

"Alright, we go to the Cyber Dream. We're in the dream site, and we are sleeping here." Sonia whispered.

"Hiding behind the serum storage... This empty space is convenient." Julie-Su smirked. "Saffron's gonna be proud of you, even though she's unknowing of you all."

"Dreamweaver... help us with the comms." Volnutt then fell into dreams.

The gang sleeped off intentionally, and at the same time is able to evade the notice of Nightmare Rose... for now.

"Julie-Su... Where are YOU!?" Enerjak realized that Julie-Su has escaped. "Unbelievable! Sonic, check this! NOW!"
